What kind of bra do I need to get cakes on a plate, full on top cleavage and separated boobs?
I typically fit a 32GG best. I have a 32 underbust, 42 overbust.
My boobs are full on bottom, close set (near touching) at the root, then splayed out from their wide roots.
I usually get a little upper boobage definition, ... but nothing 18th century.
I want separation, and lift up to the collarbones, overbust corset style, ya know?
Also, what sort of cup measurements should I look for when checking Bratasbase sizes for a good fit in a push up bra? I wondered if shallower cups would push the breasts up for the cakes on a plate look.
But then, if I should looks for shallower cups, which measurements will indicate what my best fit will be?
If I had the opportunity to try sizes on, obviously I wouldn't have to guess my size from measurements.
I usually look for a cup depth of 11.5-11.8" for a good fit without quadboobing.
For band size, I look for a stretched measurement no smaller than 32 and no larger than 33.5".
I only have 2 (badly fitting) bra reviews uploaded so far, unfortunately :/

I think that squish generally tends to indicate highly mobile and well...squishy....tissue (example semi bra related: a corset on someone with a lot of squish can usually get a lot of reduction). So you can compress squish and move squish, but I'm not certain that it applies to firmness - that's more a matter of density.
Most padded bras are designed so that the padding is actually taking up some of the space meant for your breasts. I don't know why they do this with bra designs, but a lot of manufacturers do it. It's also something that I feel happens with the t-shirt bras as well. The more 'molding' that a t-shirt bra cup has, the less space it allots for ones boobs. Then things can get even more problematic because padded and t-shirt bras conceal many of the more subtle indicators of fit.
Hmm.... my breasts are not very firm at all and they change their shape to match the cup to some degree and they are very squishy. Molded cups are usually not good for me but structured, padded cups are.
As was just mentioned, most padded bras run small, its usually just a matter of finding the right size.
I'm sorry if I didn't exactly answer your question, I just believe it is a mixture of both, at least it is for my breasts.
