This sports bra is the best!!! I used to wear 2 bras when working out in attempt to get the support needed... I don't have to do that anymore!!! This bra is super supportive and comfortable. The turquoise one is such a pretty color too! It can be worn with the straps in normal position or as a racerback. The clip to convert it to a racerback is high above the shoulder blades and it's not adjustable up and down, so the straps still show with some shirts. Depends on the cut. That doesn't bother me much. I don't mind my straps showing a ... bit when wearing sporty clothing. The band felt a little tight to me at first, but it's breaking in nicely. I opted for a tighter band because I figured it would stretch and have a little give over time. I work as a server at a restaurant and I love wearing this bra to work. Once it's on I don't have to adjust it throughout the night as I'm working and it keeps me feeling comfortable and supported throughout the entire shift. The bra is so supportive that I barely rely on the straps to hold me up, which is a nice break for my shoulders. I love this one so much that I plan on purchasing several more!

It's taken a lot of convincing to admit that this is the wrong size considering how comfortable it was to wear around. Ultimately the cup was too full for my shallow breasts when it came to working out. Perhaps I'll try a smaller cup size in store next time.

Just tried this on, so I can't review the sport profile, but I can say something about the fitting.

The textile feels very good quality, like the one which can take much bounce. Although I believe for some more delicate skins it can be too harsh.

The breasts are separated, which I take as an pro. The straps tend to fall from my arms, but with a back-X-clip I feel more secure.

It covers almost all of the breasts in front. But there was a problem with sides of the band. For me it was too low, and I felt like me boobs are escaping on the sides.

For the proper fitting ... the 30G is good for me, but as I have uneven boobs and not feel very safe at the sides I will order 30GG which is my normal size at the time.

In comparison to other sport bras I had in my life, this one gives a very nice, not smashed, shape and great separation. Although I don't know how the wires will do while jogging or biking, they are completely 'invisible' in comfort. I think that if anyone has not told me that this bra has wires I would not felt them (just standing and jumping in a fitting room).

When I first tried on this bra, it felt very strange. Though it appeared to fit (gore tacked, etc) it felt....off and not very supportive. However, after wearing it around the house a few times it started feeling better. I took it out for a run and rock climbing yesterday, and I believe I have found my first ever properly supportive sports bra.

The bra itself is very solidly constructed, as Panache bras frequently are, and includes great details like soft cushy padded straps with mesh coverings, a racerback clip adapter and foamy covers for the underwires.

I am in love with this bra and rave about it to anyone looking for a sports bra recommendation. I use it mainly for running. It's carried me through a number of races with nary an issue.

The underwire is form-fitting and comfy despite coming up quite high in the center. The fabric and the cut help to reduce sweatiness. The straps are wide and comfortable. I never use the razorback function, but it's good to know that's an option.

I wear a 28G in Panache/Cleo, and the 28G sports bra fits well. The band is snug, but I don't think it's unusually snug for the brand. I have a 27" underbust, have owned the bra for over 6 months, and am only now starting to use the middle set of hooks.

Not sure if this one is for me. It is very hard for me to tell what exactly is not working with the fit, since so much of it is hidden from view but here is my attempt:

    1. The wires are too wide for me. This isn't the bra's fault, panache wires are usually wide, I only found this out weeks after buying the bra.

    2. The cups are too small (or maybe shallow is a better word). I suspect this because I get quite a bit of tissue under my armpits that I can't seem to get into the cups.

    3. I think that because of this the underwires ... only touch my sternum, and don't manage to provide as much support as they should

I don't think going up a cup size would help because the wires would get even wider.

However, I don't have an intensive workout routine. most days I go for a walk, sometimes I do aerobics, so it is wearable and definitely better than any of my regular bras for those purposes.

I will be trying the Freya sports bra since their wires tend to be narrower and I suggest that if anyone reading this is thinking of getting a sports bra then go try bras by the same brand first to see how the underwire sits.

I'm not quite sure how to feel about this bra yet. It fits comfortably... offers more support than any other sports bra I've owned (but then again up to this point I've only had cheap sports bras that are 32/34 band and not made for large cup sizes, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. However I feel that it flattens my boobs a bit, pressing them down causing a minimizing effect, and pushing them close together more than I'd like (slight case of uniboob). But what really turns me off is the pointy shaped cups... my breasts have a more round spherical shape, and ... the pointy cups just look awkward. I've only worn it once so maybe once its "broken in" the pointy boob effect will be less noticeable. Overall I'm happy because it does offer great support, and fits very comfortably. I just wish that the shape of the cups was more rounded and less pointy.

    Pros-
    comfortably
    great support
    fits band perfectly
    love the racer-back hook option

    Cons-
    pointy shaped cups
    flattens/compresses/minimizes breasts
pushes boobs together a bit too much

I am not sure what to think yet... The bra itself fits, somewhat. I feel like it does push my boobs together a bit more than it should, and flattens them... but more than anything I think its the shape of the cups being pointy. My breasts are naturally round and the pointy cups just fit awkwardly.

This bra is rock-solid. It's very unyielding but is loosening to a comfortable constriction - good for me, I'd like my $70 sports bra to last as long as a $70 epee blade! The fit is a little strange because of how large the cup area is, but it's not uncomfortable. It's also super comfortable, even considering that Panache generally doesn't get along with my chest.

It ain't sexy but it's functional and keeps my boobs in place. Appearance, okay. Performance, excellent.

Before wearing this bra for an extended period of time (four-five hours), I would have left a glowing review of it. Yes, even before then I was aware that the band was too tight for me without an extender, and that the sides were high enough to be uncomfortable. But the uplifted shape it gave my boobs and the comfort of the rest of the construction (I could barely feel the gore! The underwires were so padded that I couldn't feel them either!!) persuaded me that its flaws were ignorable.

After four hours of wearing this bra, I never wanted to wear it again. With a couple more bad ... bra experiences under my belt, I think I can definitively say that it's not the right bra shape for me-- not in the cups, necessarily, but in the band. I have a high stomach (i.e. a sort of raised/rounded pad of fat that sits high on my stomach), you see. I'm starting to think that bras that don't have enough give below the gore are just not going to work for me comfort-wise. It's like the weight of my breasts will distribute along the front of my band only if there's nowhere else for it to sit, but they'll happily focus on that point where my stomach meets my sternum if the bra is cut to allow for that.

It's either that, or I have an oddly-shaped ribcage, and that's why it feels like a lot of otherwise well-fitting bras seems to put weight on that point. Either way, I'm going to find some way to unload this bra asap, because it's just not quite there.

    -- Miscallaneous points:

    - What people have said about the band on this being firm is true. If you're in-between bands like I am, I would try going up a band to see if that is more comfortable. Otherwise, if you can manage with an extender, this bra will definitely get you more wear in your "correct" size. And despite the initial, impossible-feeling tightness, it *will* stretch. I went from barely being able to hook myself into a 30 band sans extender to being able to do it fairly readily.

    - The shape is awesome, especially for a sports bra. However it does mean that if you have FF+ boobs, they will be in the way of your arms a bit because of how evenly the bra places your boobs in the cup.

    - The sides are really freaking high. That would probably have been the eventual end of this bra for me if I hadn't had the just-below-sternum problem, but I don't think I'd have minded coping with it as much.

    - Boob movement is, I think, inescapable at larger cup sizes in this bra. A bit of movement didn't feel uncomfortable when I'd just put it on, but after a few hours of wearing it... *shudders*. Suffice it to say that if this bra is not perfectly comfortable on you to begin with, you probably shouldn't expect to do high-impact stuff comfortably after more than an hour of wear.

The good thing about this bra is that the fabrics are very sturdy. Not something flimsy at all. It's one of the prettier sports bras on the market for big busted girls. However it doesn't feel good at all though, I'm constantly aware of it. I play soccer and sometimes when I sprint and go at it I can feel the underwires poking into my sternum. The straps are also far too long for my petite frame even at the tightest setting and hooked into racerback positon(this makes my boobs bounce uncomfortably). I adjust the bra while training AT LEAST after each jog/sprint across the pitch. Annoying to ... say the least, and very uncomfortable... Even while sitting down doing nothing, as I am doing now, the bra hurts me. It makes me feel suffocated and crushes my ribs. It's down to the strain of the too-small-cup I'm certain, because I can still pull away the bra from my body without any difficulty.

Due to the wrong size this bra is no good for me whatsoever, but unfortunately it's the best I've found yet. I desperately need help finding the right size/another bra that works much better for me.

  12. Sports Bra (5021)

If this sports bra were able to be worn under most shirts of differing cuts I would wear it ALL of the time. It is kind of bulky because of how structured it is, and I can't say that I believe the 83% less bounce business, but I love it for running/jogging and will be using it in my Pilates class. It definitely doesn't compress at all but it keeps me secure! I wouldn't mind more color options, either.

This is a pretty good sports bra, probably the best I can find in my size, super comfy, and I love the pink colour. The band of this bra and the straps have stretched a lot though. This bra was tight in the band and the straps when I bought it but is not anymore. I have only had this bra for about 1 and a bit months but have worn it a lot - I have 2 the same and wear them most days. I am wearing the bra on the tightest hooks now, I have ordered some with band size 28 instead. If I jump in ... this bra (which I do), my boobs hurt a bit from the bounce - I'm hoping the smaller band size will be more supportive on me, but this one is great for walking and low impact stuff like pilates.

Its a nice looking bra, looks good on and gives a really good shape under tops (round and not pointy), and I've been washing it in one of those bra bags with the hard plastic in both ends in the machine with no problems. One thing is that the eyes for the hooks pull out a bit - but that is easily fixed with a few stitches.

I have found this bra is also good in really hot weather - it seems to breathe and be a lot cooler than a regular moulded t-shirt bra.

  14. Sports Bra (5021)

This bra fits okay, but doesn't provide much support. The racerback option doesn't seem to give any extra benefit, and it requires some contortions to unhook it when you're sweaty and worn out from the gym. It does encase my breasts fairly well, so they are held front and center and don't get in my way when I try to exercise, but it doesn't prevent movement well enough to be suitable for high impact sports.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the bra was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the bra near the time of purchase. Since the bra was purchased, my breasts have grown and the bra no longer fits properly. Below are my comments on the current state of the bra:

I wear the bra about once a week. I am now using it on the second hook but it didn't seem to stretch out especially quickly.

Before this, I never had a fitting sports bra.

    Things I like.
-soft wicking fabric, including cushioning over the underwires. It is worth mentioning that the underwires nearly touch in the center gore, but since they are padded, there is about an inch of relatively inflexible area in the gore. On me, the gore does not firmly "tack" but it is snug and does not chafe. I think this is due to the padded design. I was able to try all the adjacent sizes, and this was the best fit. While the gore is high, the wires only come up about 50% to the top, so there is no gouging.

The ... band is *very* firm. I measure just a bit under 32", and I needed a 34". I'm not sure I would have been able to fasten a 32. 34 is my "firm" band size, I usually take a 32 in stretchier styles.
The cups run a bit big. Normally I need an FF (or US H), I took an F in this.
The straps are comfortable, and for extra support can be hooked together as a racerback. This closes up the top of the cups for even less bounce. However, it tends to press on the trapezius, so it is less comfortable. Without connecting them, the bra is comfortable enough to wear all day. The straps are contoured.
No "uniboob"!, and the side profile is acceptable to wear for daily wear. With the racerback, the side profile is very uplifted, a bit too much for a natural appearance on me.

    Cons:
in racerback mode, the straps are too close together for me, because the connector is too high. Still a great bra, and I like being able to make a simple adjustment to "lock down" the bounce.

  17. Sports Bra (5021)

This is my all-time favorite sports bra for my regular running and yoga. The encapsulation and moulded form keep everything in place, yet don't smush me so I can't breath. I also love the underwires to prevent a mono-boob effect, and the wires are so well enclosed in fabric that I don't notice they are there (so no rubbing or poking at all!)

The shape is a very lovely, upright, rounded shape, slightly broad, and so "not sports bra-like" I've worn it with regular tank tops and shirts and been very comfortable. The center area comes up higher than my regular balconette and half-cup bras, so you wouldn't ... wear this with anything lower cut, but otherwise, it's quite pleasant.

I like the little hook on the strap behind your neck, which hooks to the other strap to make it a convertible racer back style. I use this style when I'm running, but leave the straps straight for yoga since it's not high-impact. I find it very easy to clip and unclip, and also to get in and out of this bra before an after activity.

The photos of this don't do it justice, as it's really more flattering in real life, with the center of the chest seams wrapping around in a flattering cut. The straps also are thick to be comfortable while working out, but not thicker than my wide-trapped tank tops so still attractive and not like a full vest.

I own two of these so I can cycle them between workouts, and I know I'm supposed to handwash everything but lack of time has me tossing these sports bras in to a lingerie bag and in to my washing machine for a thorough cleaning. I let them air dry afterwards, and they have held up beautifully the last few months I've had them. (Haven't needed a new set yet.)

It is fine overall but I am going to order one cup smaller, as I feel it is a bit loose on the top, and I think that makes it less supportive. The band size is perfect. I don't find it too snug as some other reviews said.
Although I haven't tried it at the gym yet, it feels very confortable and supportive enough.
Straps are very well cushioned, so they are really confy. It has "hidden" underwires which is great because it gives lovely shape with 2 separated boobs but it doesn't look like underwear from the outside. It does on the back, which is a common bra ... back with 3 hooks (and an extra clip to make it racerback). The underwires are completely cushioned, they don't dig at all and you don't even fell them. As it says on the label, the breast are encapsulated individually so it gives you better support. I fell very "secured" when I wear it, even though I still feel a bit of bouncing when running in place, but I hope it gets better with one cup size smaller.
    Quality looks great.

My only concern is its performance with sweat, because it looks great on the outside, but the padded inside doesn't look very breathable. I will update this when I test it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    It is 49%Polyamide, 38%Polyester, 15%Elastane

I've ordered this one, Freya Active and Shock Absorber and this is one is definitely my favorite and the one I am keeping.

*Update: One cup size smaller was fine for me. I've tried it at the gym and I love it. My concerns about sweating were wrong. I don't get sweaty boobs, probably with the help of the individual encapsulation of the breast, as it avoids rubbing skin between the breasts.
It is supportive enough for fitness, aerobics, etc. Just love it!

I really like this bra! I previously used the Shock Absorber B4490 in 32DD for running and only heard good things about the Panache bra, so I had to try it out. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Mine is purple/grey.

I bought it in my usual Panache size, which is 30E (or 30DD, but in 30E the wires are better for me). At first, the bra almost seemed too big for me, but only a little. It still completely inhibits bounce and is supercomfortable! I could imagine wearing this bra for longer stretches of time than the Shock Absorber. The Shock Absorber compresses, this bra encapsulates and still manages to not make my breasts cone-shaped (like the Freya Active sports bra is said to do).

This bra is (officially) not machine washable! Probably because of the wires. I don't know how that will play out since I do sweat while doing sports... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" />

    This one is great!
    Ideally I think I would have prefered a 34HH:
I tried a 34H, which was nice and snug in the band (snugger than normal 34's, but that is good for a sports bra), but the cups, oh no: I literally got boobs above my collarbones! Thus, no support for the entire tophalf of my chest, hah!
So I got the 36H (they only go up to H) and it is pretty good! On tightest hook and with the racer back, I could sit in a paint-mixer machine and not jiggle!
Without the racer back, it feels like the boobs sort of settle in the bottom of ... the cup, and since the straps don't adjust very short (I am taller and bigger than average, so if they are not short enough for me, other people sure are gonna have some troubles!), there escapes some out the sides, but the racerback takes care of that, so honestly, I see no reason not to have it.
It is very very comfortable all over, I could wear it all day, and I can move very freely! It gives a nice shape too, only a bit minimized (I went from 122cm to 118cm), so I would not feel weird wearing it in public, and just might for when I want button-downed shirts. The top of the bra is quite tight, I deff don't feel like I should size up from this cup-volume, yet it doesn't run completely smooth along the top, even though it come up quite high.
Overall, I highly reccommend this bra! Especially if you actually fall within the size-range!
