I own this bra in both 30G and 28GG. I fluctuate between both sizes in Panache. I find that the 30G is more comfortable and a better fit when I first put it on however the 28GG is tighter around my chest (my ribcage measures 28 inches exactly) and the 28GG is a bit more supportive when running.
That said, I still get lots of wear out of this one!
This is the only underwired sports bra I've found that fits my shape (full/fleshy in center chest and shallow/no breast tissue high up near my arms) and the Freya Underwired Sports Bra was hopeless (with a fitter to try and help me!) no matter what size I tried on - it was too wide and cut in under my arms (cup too big) whilst pinching the top of my boobs towards the center gore (cup too small!).
For other comments about this bra check out my review in size 28GG.
I Love this sports bra. It does fit a little snug in the cup and I will be upgrading to a 28GG, but the size I have now, a 28G, works great with just a bit of squish. When I got it I wore it to work for a full day to make sure it was comfortable. When it passed that test I then wore it for a day of OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) dirt bike riding. With all the jarring and bouncing….and crashing….. this sports bra kept things in place. I never once had to readjust it. No poking, no prodding. No uncomfortable feeling. Soft fabric, padded underwire, padding under the hooks, and it has the ability to convert into a racer-back. Once I get a cup size bigger I’ll really be on cloud nine. Now if I could just find a regular everyday bra to feel the same way I’ll be set.
First impressions, comfortable and looks good under clothes. Gives a great shape, no pointy boobs. I sized down 1 cupsize, which is a touch small, but my normal cupsize probably would have been a bit big.
This is an encapsulation bra, no compression. My bust measures 36" with it on when it is normally 37.5-38."
The only sports bra I will wear in public, as it is the first I have found with out the dreaded torpedo-boob effect. (I think the Freya sports model is too pointy for public wear!) The bra would probably fit me slightly better in a 30" with a larger cup, but there isn't such a thing. I like the level of support I get from hooking the straps together with the provided clip, but that isn't a possibility for all-day wear as it starts to dig in my shoulders. But it is fantastic for a work out! The underwires are coated in silicone and stitched individually, so you pretty much forget they are there. The center is unique. The wires come up against the chest, but there is a mesh overlay. This gives it the appearance of a regular (compression) sports bra. The moisture-wicking works nicely. It does reduce bounce, I was comfortable doing aerobic activity - still can't do jumping jacks without being self-conscious, though!
Amazing! Band is snug and comfortable. Cups are a bit big in my usual size but still feel secure and supportive. Gore tacks to my chest. Wow! Did not know this was possible.
I am mid-fifties in age and this is the first time in my life wearing a sports bra where the band is snug and my boobs are supported. Amazing! Usually, to get a band that fits, my boobs would be overflowing tops and sides of the cups or smashed flat. This is a revelation. The wired version is also great and the gore tacks to my chest between boobs. This one floats but is fine.
A longline band prevents the flesh from bunching up under the wire and semi-blends with he skin tone making the bra look less bulky. The cups are a little too wide but workable; the wires are padded so where they poke it's cushioned.
This is my everyday bra, because I can’t find anything better. It lifts, separates, and covers. I get some gapping at the side and the band is uncomfortable the first few wears. My biggest issue is the limited lifespan of the closures and underwire. These bras are good for about six months, then you’re on borrowed time.
I got this bra as a give away and I'm so so thankful! My boobs grew exponentially the last couple years and I had zero sports bras...I was wearing my regular wired bra to do cardio (booo). This is a non wired, so cup measurements are tricky. The bra encloses my breasts without creating uniboob or compression. It's very comfortable and I feel supported with cardio and weights. It has a J hook in case you want to wear it racerback. Band is true to size I think, and is a 3x3.
I've heard good things about this bra. When I saw my size on sale, I decided to try it.
I needed to use the 2nd hook on the band, shorten both straps and use the J-hook. With these adjustments, I was able to jog comfortably for 30 minutes. I have a *wee* bit of space in my smaller cup, but it doesn't seem to compromise the support from the bra.
I've worn it for 4 hours, and so far, I have no poking or other irritation. Time will tell. I think this will meet my low-impact cardio needs.
This is a nice compromise between a wired sports bra and the Enell bras. There's some extra fabric kind of at the bottom edge of the bra where the wire would go, so not a perfect design, but still pretty good.
I got this bra in black size 28DD half a year ago. It has lasted well and stretched out by a few cm (note: I havent followed propper washing/wearing recommendations and have frequently worn it multiple days in a row). When I first got it it was snug comfortable on the loosest hooks (my loose measurement is 26.75 in and snug 25.5) so if you are a true 28 band and want this bra in black I would use an extender or size up. Overall the cups fit well with a bit of space in the cups but none across the top when I got it (I was ...a 26DD and have tall roots, although I heard it runs large if you have short roots or are FOB) it's now slightly small in the cups but I love this bra and I'm taking it with me to the grave. Overall it had, and definitely still does, really good support. I wear it most days even when I'm not active but am trying to rotate another bra with it as to prolong its life. It’s the Panache Sports bra. I know these are highly recommended and liked - I am also a fan. This is the wired version, which I find fits more TTS than the wireless version (for those I sister size up in the band).
Honestly, if you’re wondering whether to go wired vs wireless - for me, personally, there is not point to the wires. The gore cannot tack the way the cups are built. If someone can get it to tack, let me know! If I sized up to get the gore to tack, I’d be floating in this bra.
The J hook is great and I almost always use these bras with it attached. It helps with the compression and adds more support. Bra is comfortable for all sorts of activity, including running. There isn’t much else to say…it’s just a really great sports bra!
It’s the Panache Sport wireless bra. I think its excellence exceeds itself and is talked about quite a bit already.
I noticed that the band on the wireless version is snugger than the wired version, hence the sister sizing for me. I like that it keeps everything compressed and has a J hook.
Really like this! Very comfortable and soft material. The cups fit perfectly and the band is nice is snug. Definitely for medium to high-impact sports as it's quite tight.
Purchased at Top Drawer Lingerie in Houston TX for 75 USD + sales tax. This is the best sports bra that I came across so far, and I am a F45 regular. I just wish that sports bras with a zipper and a closing mechanism in the front were a thing.
34G is my size for the unwired version of Panache Sport, which seems to run small. The 34G in the wired version is too big. The tops of the cups are baggy and not filled all the way. Otherwise, the band fit fine, and the rest of the bra was comfortable. Did not help with bounce.
