Pretty consistent with my other review of this bra, only to add that 1) I’ve lost weight and can do either the 32E or 32DD, though the E cuts in the Tail of Spence a bit by being wider, but the DD is the smallest hint of being a titch small and 2) the black one is a bit snugger than the other ones, which is a good thing in this bra, because it’s already a stretchy bra, and they don’t have a 30 band in this one.

It’s a nice and soft bra in the Nulu fabric like the Align range, with a mildly strappy back and hook and eye closure.

I only tried it on but I might get it.

I love the back on this! I may get a lululemon bra myself, these look so cool and comfy!

marilynne you would probably have to try a 34 band with alterations to make it fit, I think. Maybe you can get away with the 32E and fill it up more vertically? It’s a nice one though. There are some other ones that are bra sized that have tighter bands that might work too.

BraOdyssey yeah it’s a pretty comfortable one. I like the Nulu fabric. I have a size 8 in the Like a Cloud longline that’s the same material and really nice, though not adjustable. Supposedly this one is available in A/B or C/D cups and mine is an A/B…they gave me a size 6 C/D that was good too, but it’s not listed on the website so I’m not sure exactly how one would know the difference.

    Didn't fit

My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, semi soft tissue.

I've been super curious about the bras by Lululemon even though they do not have the best size range. This bra is brand new, released only a few weeks ago. It's supposed to be for cup sizes DD and E. This is only a fit review since I only tried it on.

They use single number sizes for most of their bras and the range is from 0-14. This bra goes from 2-12. I've read that a size 2 = 28-30", 4 = 30-32", 6 = 32-34”, etc. Not sure how accurate ... this is, but it seems to be similar to the measurements I got on this bra (if anything my measurements seem to be on the smaller side, the 4 measured about 29” stretched and the 6 measured 31” stretched).

This bra in both sizes (4 and 6) was a pain to put on, there are no clasps/hooks, so it has to go over your head. There’s no way to adjust the band which sucks. Size 6 was definitely too big in the band for me and was riding up the back (measurements for size 6 here: http://bra.pe/X2ke/ ). The band on size 4 was perfect for me, but the cups were too small. I felt really squished and I got some quadding at the top, not much, but enough for it to bother me.

They say on the website this is a light support bra, but it feels more like medium support to me. I wouldn’t go running in it since I have better bras, but it could work for a light jog. Side coverage is good and came up high enough for me.

The straps on the back are beautiful, but not adjustable which can be a deal breaker as well. They fit me fine, however I’m not particularly high or low set. I’ve had a few problems with straps being too short, but not by much.

I decided to return this bra because the cups felt too small and because it has no way to adjust the band to the straps with use. I think it’s pretty expensive for a mostly non-adjustable bra and I feel like Freya and Panache have better bras in this price range for my needs.

The chronic problem of most sports bra for me sized like this or s/m/l: if the band fits, the cups are too small, if the cups fit, the band is (sometimes laughably) too big!

    • Yeah, this one seemed promising, but I realized pull over your head bras are annoying for anything other than light support.

I’ve reviewed this bra in a few other colours in a size 4. This fit is about the same in appearance, only a little more relaxed. I’m just testing the larger size for the fit, and I think I might prefer it even though it’s not quite as snug of a band.

I’ve added this as a size 8 but I did try a size 10, so it’s entirely possible that it is under the wrong size here. I have a size 6 that I will be reviewing.

This is from when I originally tried the style on and was thinking the 8 fit best and the 6 was too small, but that was at the start of the journey with trying on Lululemon sports bras.

My later review will have more pictures and details.

I reviewed this one already in the 10, which was fine in the cup and loose on the band. This one was ok in the band but it definitely squashed me and cut into the tissue. I have yet to try this in the 8. I’m honestly not sure if it’s going to be any better but I will try it if I’m able to find it.

Me: 30FF-ish (sometimes size down due to soft and squishy tissue that’s sort of short rooted and full on bottom).

    • Like the multi-strap back, hoping the 8 will be a better (like 'Goldilocks', right?) fit for you!

bubblegum yeah, I think it’s possible, but I do still quite like the Free to Be Serene longline. I tried it in a 6. Wanted to try it in the 8 before deciding and now it is out of stock locally and online. But I’m betting it will be back. The site just added two new colourways so hopefully they will be in store soon so I can compare.

    Didn't fit

I've had this bra for two years but didn't bother putting it on bratabase. Being Lululemon, there's a million reviews of it elsewhere. Adding now cause I guess it's not on bratabase yet, and I have important things to procrastinate.

In terms of looks, it's gorgeous. Those beautiful crossed straps go well with any workout top. The cups do collapse a bit at the bottom, but I still feel fairly supported for yoga and climbing. Not so much running, even though this is supposed to be more of a high impact bra. The "red grape" colourway is lovely.

Compared to my other sports bras, I think the fit is most ... similar to 3rd Rock Aurora 3: high coverage in the front with nice thick straps that are easy on the shoulders. However the elastic in the Energy bra has definitely outlasted Aurora, even though I've had this one for longer and worn them both about equally often. I always wash cold and air dry and the fabric still looks good as new.

I don't want to support Lululemon anymore for ethical reasons, but this is easily still one of my favourite sports bras, and I will be sad to let it go when it does eventually wear out.

I got this bra as a gift. I don't usually buy bras from North American brands due to the lack of size range, but this one worked surprisingly okay and I now use it as a backup for when my Panache Sport is in the wash. I did have to wear a band size 4" larger than normal and start on the second hook to get a cup size that fit, but I still feel like this bra is adequately supportive. The band seems to run snug so it's easier to get away with sister sizing.

This bra fits well and holds everything in. I wore it a few times for dance training. It is dark grey and magenta and can easily be worn without a shirt. It's a great bra and hasn't been worn a lot.
