    34DD

    Hasn't set fit

This bra is brand new, and I actually went to the store to see when they were going to get it but, I saw it already there in limited sizes. I knew that the 34DD band would be too big but, I wanted to see what it was like in general.

This sports bra is advertised as being light support for C-E cups. The description says:

Flow on. A yoga essential, this smooth, strappy bra lends support, separation, and coverage.

Here’s the product features list from the website.

-Spacer construction in the cups for breathable coverage and shaping
-Double back crossover straps offer comfort and support
    -Adjustable straps
    -Straps are padded for comfort
-Hook-and-eye ... closure for a customized underband fit

I do believe that it is the same Nulu fabric that the Align leggings are made from as it was buttery soft and smooth to the touch, and it has Align in the name.

I was attracted by the bra sized hook and eye closure sizing that goes to E (not stellar or super inclusive, I know, but still better than the s/m/l styles) with a more delicate strappy back. It looked ideal for my needs.

As far as the fit, take into consideration that I am not in the correct size here. I’m well aware that I would be better in a 32E like the other bra sized sports bras that I have tried from Lululemon but, as it’s new, sizes are limited until more stock arrives in the coming weeks. I have lost 10 pounds since January so I’m currently about a 30F. My tissue is soft and pendulous and even more shallow on top than it used to be.

I’m just going to jump to the chase…I *really* like this bra! For my needs with Pilates, I need some support and it has to be comfortable. I’m not doing cardio or HIIT or anything jumping up and down so I don’t need massive support like the Panache wired sports bras or Shock Absorbers. I do a warm up standing with a roll down but, the rest is on my back on the mat and reformer. We’ve only just begun to work with all fours (it’s harder than you think it is!) so basically some containment. I don’t need to be heavily strapped down or anything. Anyway, this bra checks the boxes. Obviously, it’s better once I get a 32E.

The materials are so soft and I love the semi delicate strappy back that has somewhat adjustable straps. The cups are also sort of pre-molded to introduce a little separation. I actually have a nice rounded profile and am not as heavily compressed like some of the other ones that I have tried. I’m slightly nervous about the 32 band being too large still, as it does feel somewhat stretchy but, it will be better than the 34 for sure. I’m definitely going to wait until more sizes arrive and hope a 32E (or even 32DD possibly) come in and hopefully pick it up. I do really think that it’s an ideal bra for me and my needs. I’ll update if I can get a better size.

That looks so smooth and comfortable! Was it easy to get back off?

Yes! It’s so smooth and soft, and easy to get on and off as it is a hook and eye closure.

I just bought this. I’ve gone up from a 34E to a 34F and I can wear this in the 34E so I’d say cup size is a bit forgiving, so if you’re in the edge give it a try. I feel like it gives a decent lifted shape for a light support sports bra. I’m going to try it for weight lifting any yoga. I don’t really need my panache “boob armor” unless I’m jumping around! It seems like it will be a good lounge bra as well.

    • Yes, confused …I have considered trying the 32DD which I think my location has currently but, I will have to wait until Thursday to try it. I might still need a 32E but, maybe I can size down. The 32DD will be a fitting test. I think it’s going to be a great Pilates bra. Soft, comfortable, moderate coverage, and enough support for what I do. Agreed with the boob armour title with the panache…great shape and support but, much more than I need.

Pretty consistent with my other review of this bra, only to add that 1) I’ve lost weight and can do either the 32E or 32DD, though the E cuts in the Tail of Spence a bit by being wider, but the DD is the smallest hint of being a titch small and 2) the black one is a bit snugger than the other ones, which is a good thing in this bra, because it’s already a stretchy bra, and they don’t have a 30 band in this one.

It’s a nice and soft bra in the Nulu fabric like the Align range, with a mildly strappy back and hook and eye closure.

I only tried it on but I might get it.

marilynne you would probably have to try a 34 band with alterations to make it fit, I think. Maybe you can get away with the 32E and fill it up more vertically? It’s a nice one though. There are some other ones that are bra sized that have tighter bands that might work too.

BraOdyssey yeah it’s a pretty comfortable one. I like the Nulu fabric. I have a size 8 in the Like a Cloud longline that’s the same material and really nice, though not adjustable. Supposedly this one is available in A/B or C/D cups and mine is an A/B…they gave me a size 6 C/D that was good too, but it’s not listed on the website so I’m not sure exactly how one would know the difference.
