    Fits

This is the first bra I've ordered from Bra Obsessed, and the Chalet is a Bra Obsessed exclusive. Despite the color being quite a bit darker than I had expected, I still love it. Fits pretty much the same as my other PL's and I love the matching thong. I will try to get measurements up tonight, but I'm don't feel like taking of the Chalet to measure it at the moment.

The thongs are gorgeous...as are you, dear. Beautiful!!

It's so cute! I was worried it might actually match my skin tone and look blah but if it's darker then expected it might work for me. :)

    • Soooo nice!! I am tempted to buy one too now.

    • I'd really appreciate the measurements when you have a chance to get them, as I recently ordered one of these myself. :)

      Measurements added.

I found it really funny that Ewa called this bra Chalet, since in Polish it means 'public toilet'.

    • Scharminkeltje That is hillarious. Ignorance, in this case, is blissful. Giggle.

    MUCH better!

This bra band runs TTS, but stretchier in the band than the 70G - Ewa Michalak ยป S Summer Time. (Even at 65GG, it feels 'stretchier' than that bra. This is especially true of the straps -- very stretchy.) Cups run a bit small for a UK GG, by the depth measurement, which is to be expected for cups measured in cm instead of inches -- there's half a cm less of difference between every cup size, which adds up over time -- but these are still too big for me. (I'm more of a UK 30G than a 30GG, so that's not the fault ... of the bra.) As such I'll either need a 65G or to give up on this bra and potentially this cut. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I took pictures with one cookie in to test it out. I have some very slight asymmetry, less than most people probably, and a single cookie kind of overcorrects it, but it was an interesting test. It also eliminated what is otherwise clearly wrinkling in the bottom of these cups, so cookies can definitely be used to create what are effectively "half" cup differences, but half a cup smaller isn't enough to fix the weird shape I get from this because it's too big. Not at all the rounded shape one expects from a correctly-sized Pl.

This is such a beautiful bra, I really wish I was having better luck with it.

The colour of this bra and the cleavage it gives are both WOW!! I LOVE this bra, I just wish it fit me.

It's a beautiful shade of taupe with rose flowers in the lace. I just love it.

Like all PL, it has a 2-part lower cup (1 vertical seam) and a top, horizontal part as well, with a small taupe knitwear "border" showing above the lace.

It's a 65G - the bands FITS, but I can already put it on the 2nd or even 3rd hook, so I am thinking I may need a 60.

The cup ALMOST fits with the cookies, but there's gaping at the top.

MamaPagan LeProfessor thoughts on size suggestions going forward?

I ordered 3 new ones from EM direct, but they haven't shipped yet, so I'd like to send them an email with new sizes, ASAP.

I need to know what size I SHOULD order, in hopes of getting a good fit.

    • Based on the photos, I would suggest keeping this size. Assuming the cookies are in? The gaping is so minor in the photos, I feel that even without the cookies, the cups would be too small in a cup size down. If you are not prone to quadding, you would still be able to wear a cup down, but the gore would float for sure. Ewa cookies provide less than half a cup of extra oomph (varies by size of course), so keep that in mind when assessing fit with vs without them.

How does the cup fit with two cookies in one side? Do the cups fit nicely then, or does it give quadding or gore float?

If the band feels unsupportive, you could go down a to a 60 band, in which case I would go with the 60G as sister sizing isn't exact with Ewa. :-)

  4. I'm cheating slightly as I know the straps are actually too wide and within a couple wears will start falling off my shoulders because it has that new-bra, straps-fit-for-now feel, but since it fits in the important aspects I want to have a bra listed as 'fitting' for once! And for the time being they're staying put so it's not really inaccurate. Everything else miraculously seems to be fitting?

The band was a bit tight/ill-fitted on my first trial and started becoming painful after about a half hour. I was getting quite a bit of gaping at the top of the cups though it wasn't noticeable ... under clothes, with a strangely prominent horizontal seam on the right cup, which I asked Jaimie about. Jaimie suggested I try tightening the straps and to my surprise that actually did improve it a lot. (Side note: Jaimie from Bra Obsessed is awesome, if you did not know. She's been so very helpful giving me suggestions and recommendations, I highly recommend shopping with her.) It's not 100% smooth under clothing, even with two layers you can still see a bit of the edge where the horizontal seams meet, but it's not like a tiny cliff in my shirt now and matches the visibility of the left, so at least it's not lopsided.

With the tightened straps, the band seemed to stay put better, too. It didn't seem to start riding up, so I don't think the band was too big, but it was sliding down a bit before the strap adjustment. That seemed to dig in a bit and was causing me some discomfort. Wore it for a couple hours lounging around the house though and felt okay.

I have to say this is *not* the most supportive bra, though the look it gives is super uplifted, forward facing, and pointed in a way I enjoy. It seems fine for my sort of daily activities; I typically sit or stand at a desk all day and do not run or jump around or do anything else that would require more support. But if I try to do a small jump test there's significant movement and lands on the slightly painful side. It's the first time I've really experienced this in a wired bra, so I was a bit surprised. The straps do attach pretty far on the sides, though, which I'm sure helps with the forward shaping, but does mean the middle is relying on band and seams alone, especially with the short gore. So I think that makes sense there's less support, but it's something to be aware of.

It wasn't my first choice in design, but I actually do like it. The base is a nice medium warm beige, and the lace has coral accent flowers It's a bit dark and not yellow-toned enough to be a true 'nude' on me, but it'll at least be more subtle than the bright green/purples I currently have. I have a feeling the comfort may go up for me as I break it in more, but I'm not 100% on that yet. I'm excited to possibly have an actual fitting bra, though!

Cute! Unusual color combination, but I like it! It might work as a "nude" for under light colored clothing, I'll have to test that idea. The band is the perfect stretchiness, the straps are a little too stretchy. Very comfortable!

    Didn't fit

So this is a bit hilarious to me because I neeeeever eeeeeever need 30 bands, and yet here we are. I have to say, I'm a bit perplexed. The 65GG (because I also need to go down at least 1, possibly 2 cups)'s measurements _look_ too small, but this was so comically loose...

I'm in contact with Jaimie now to get advice about the fit. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
