This is one of two bras that I got from another seller...she was offering both at extremely reasonable prices because they were heavily used, and this one she actually refunded some of my money as she noticed a bit more wear on the band than originally thought...so that was very nice. I opted for this one because I’d had no experience with this cut before, and there were a few SMs in the listings in 70E that I was interested in, but I had been a bit worried about the cup depth. And I was right to be. It’s a little bit small. This bra is borderline too ...small for me. Especially pre-period aka high tide.
The black lace is beautiful but I feel like maybe it’s not super soft.. it’s not scratchy or anything, but it’s thicker and firmer than I was expecting. The band on this one is shot, so I can’t really comment on it, but I gather from the visible wear that it was probably a stretchy knitwear one. The button bow at the gore and straps are cute, but I think that the strap ones are a little annoying as they don’t tend to lie flat and can poke out of tanks and camisoles.
The shape from the front is lovely and I appreciate the lower neckline and gore. I also still have a fair amount of cleavage in the bra, even though it’s not a plunge. The side shape is ok...you can see the slight spilling and slight upside down 7 shape, and in both front and side views, you can see the wrinkles at the wire. Based on my separate post about this bra and the wrinkles, it’s possible it’s just too shallow, although I do have wire marks lining up with my roots pretty well, but it’s possible that it is from being a little smaller than I need and it’s shape on me. It’s a looser more natural but still somewhat rounded, I think.
As is quite common with Ewas, and small bands in particular, I find that the straps are a bit too wide for me, but they are on the edge of my comfort zone. I’d definitely like to see straps be less wide set in her bras.
Aside from the minor issues with the fit, I’ll hold on to this bra for a bit because it’s almost a good fit and I got it at a stellar price.
For my shape, narrowish and tallish roots that are soft, deflated, and pendulous which push me towards functionally short and even to full on bottom, this style sort of works. It’s not projected at the wire enough, though were I in a 65FF, I might feel like the apex depth is ok (and immediate depth might be better). It’s hard to tell in bras that don’t quite bit though. I’ve got my sights set on some BMs to try when I have enough money to buy one as I think I might have better luck with it than the SM.
I’m happy that I tried this, and it was a valuable purchase in my ongoing quest to learn more about Ewa Michalak bras by experience. I’m not sure if I will try it in a cup size up or not, but it’s a possibility. Read more 447 more words
Received this in a swap recently. I’d suspected it might be too big based on the fit of my 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Sm Czarna Mgiełka (481) but I still wanted to try it out as I had this bra in a 65F or a 70E at one point and it was too small in the cups. Maybe one day I will find a 65FF or 70F in it.
As always, nice narrow and projected cups, narrow and lower gore, and beautiful non stretchy black lace. I particularly like the button bows. I find the straps on this one are a bit wider that ...they are one cup size down, and this is consistent with the 65G S bras I had a year or so ago, so this must be the transition size.
This particular one is super stretchy in the band, ironically, the same as the one I had previously, so I suspect it is something consistent with the material used in the band at that time.
I’m actually on the swollen and tender side now, so I don’t think PMS boobs will fit/be any better. I’m a bit sad, but not surprised at the fit. This is going back to the listings. :/ Read more 101 more words
My shape is low set, short and narrow rooted, slightly pendulous, and soft.
This bra is like a plunge balcony on me. I don't mind the shape but I do prefer a more rounding profile. This one leaves me slightly more 'natural' looking, which I don't mind...it's just not ideal. I do find the bottom of the cups a tad bit shallow. It has decent apex depth but not enough depth at the wire for me. The bra is a non-stretch lace that stops at the band (doesn't go all the way around). The straps are plain black, but there is a cute little ribbon detail on each strap that I thought gave this bra something extra. It is a piece of ribbon folded over with a button on it. The centre gore charm is a simple bow with a button on it. The support feels sturdy for a lace bra, and the band measures and fits slightly snug for a 65, which I prefer. Overall good quality bra that is also pretty.
This bra is gorgeous. It was in my first Ewa Michalak order to determine sizing, and it is too big. I keep thinking I will take to a seamstress to have the cups adjusted along the top so that it will fit, but haven't done so yet. Other than not filling out the tops of the cups this bra is amazing. The lace is so pretty!. I have since ordered other SM styles, which I am still waiting to arrive. These are perfect bras for the summer because they are so light and airy. All I can say is WOW! I absolutely love this bra. The fit is fantastic and yet another win for Ewa Michalak. It took a few months for this bra to be made (materials were out of stock), but the wait was well worth it. This is my first SM styled bra, but I love the proportions and the fit. The under wires are perfect for my narrow under bust and the cups for my projected breasts. This bra provides a lovely round shape. The lace is thick with just the right amount of give and doesn't itch at all. I feel supported and uplifted. The straps are fully adjustable and made of a firm elastic. The back clasp has four columns and two rows of hooks. I'd say this band is smaller than a typical 65(30) band size in comparison to my other Ewa bras, but that works to my advantage considering I normally have to wear them on the tightest setting right off the bat.
I bought this bra from someone on braswap just to get an idea of how an Ewa Michalak bra would fit me. The bra is very pretty, and comfortable, but the size isn't right for me.
The Band: not firm enough for my liking, though this could be due to having purchased the bra used - I can't be sure.
The center gore will not tack.
The cup: This model is constructed of stiff lace throughout and since I am a nursing mom, sometimes my size can vary. The left cup doesn't feel deep enough and the right cup gets some wrinkling at the top.
I just want to cry. This bra I was hoping the most it will fit. Yeah, in 70DD would be perfect so if anyone has I'm happy to buy it! Have never seen so good fitting lace bra on my small boobs. This bra deserves 11/10!
This bra is beautiful, and I love the little button accents! I wore it all day today and for the most part it was very comforable. But after several hours, I did notice that the gore started to really dig into my skin. I found myself pushing the gore away from my skin several times. When I took it off at the end of the day, I was surprised that the marks on my skin weren't worse based on the discomfort. I think if I can bend the gore out a bit, this bra will be perfect. It's very light weight and if I can fix the gore, it will be a perfect summer bra!
Ewa Michalak's SM style gives a rounder shape than the BM style. The cups of the SM Wróżka are made of a stiff lace that does not stretch. They can also be very uncomfortable and scratchy. The band is nice and comfortable.
The wires are narrow with projected cups. Perfect for someone with narrow rooted and projected breasts.
