    Didn't fit

This is a dual review, as I tried this bra on in two sizes because my size was not available, so we poked around with a few sizes in my range.

I was so happy to try this famed fruit SF bra. It’s a shame that it was not available in 65FF or 70F. The colours and pattern of this bra are really fun and seemed to look good against my skin tone. The fruit pattern is super cute, as is the strawberry decoration at the gore.

I was initially brought the 65G, which proved to fit my larger boob ok, but was gapping on my small boob. ... It was also eating my armpits. The fitter brought me a 65F, feeling like the 65G was quite roomy and that it might be ok two cups down. Sadly, it’s a little bit too small for the big boob, though it’s amazing on my small boob. It’s definitely a better fit than the 65G.

Although the straps are wide set like the BM, I kind of dig the SF style. I feel like I have a pretty good shape, and the reinforced lower cup is supporting my soft, pendulous tissue. This was one of the two SFs I tried on that day.

To be honest, while I ultimately need a 65FF or 70F, I could possibly be persuaded to buy the 65F if it was cheap enough. In a way, I am glad this didn’t work, because it is more expensive than the others by $20. But it’s so close. I could have cried when neither size fit. But perhaps I can get the other one (SF Motyl) knowing how it fits.

I love this print!!! It looks like you had such a fun shopping trip. The poor Panache bras, although perfectly fine, they just can’t shine in close comparison with all these beautiful Ewa bras.

    • 1

      Damned asymmetry!

    • 1

Super cute! I'm sorry they didn't have it in the right size.

    • Yeah, it’s really cute.

    • Yeah, it’s really cute.

    • Its a really cute bra! It looks like the cups lay perfectly against the top of your breast.

    • It’s ok on my small boob. My big boob is a bit squished in it. I would definitely get this size or 70E if it was the only one left and heavily marked down. I do need a cup size bigger though.

Thank you so much to jlcl119 for letting me buy this! It is so pretty. It's like a green and white garden of a bra, and I love the contrast that the big white bow adds. It is also my first Ewa Michalak! Alas, there is not nearly enough cup to hold my boobs -- it's too small. The band also feels very loose on the loosest hook. I think I'll keep this for now since it gives me GREAT cleavage and fits sort of alright if I de-scoop, but there just isn't enough depth in the cup to accommodate me. The gore reminds me ... of my 28F Freya Deco gore in that it tacked even though the cup is too small because it's so low. The cups are nice and narrow (a tiny bit too wide for my smaller side, but nothing is narrow enough for that boob!) and the fabric is soft. If only there were like, the opposite of cookies to make the cups deeper so that this would fit. Oh well, added to the massive cache of bras that don't fit me. On to the next!

    • Wow! So beautiful! Congratulations on your first Ewa! Sorry it’s a bit small.

    • 1

It's a shame it's too small! Even so, it still looks pretty good on you.

    • 1

This is such a gorgeous bra. I love the Green lace. I wish more bras were made with green being the focus color. 💚🍀💚

    • 1

Gorgeous! Sorry it's a bit small.

    • 1

MamaPagan I know, it's so interesting! There are a lot of color combinations I think bra manufacturers should try out that they never do. My favorite colors are dark forest green and lavender -- I wish I'd at least see more purple/lavender bras out there. So many nude, black, beige, etc.

    • 1

Indeed! I am a sucker for all green and purple bras, they are my favorites. 💜💚
I agree there are way too many black, white, beige and nude bras made. Give me bright bold and beautiful!

    • 2

biflexual emerald/forest green coming this fall from Krisline, Gorsenia and Ewa Bien. Samanta, Dalia and Gaia will offer plum. It's going to be a colourful autumn.

    • 2

Oh...and Kinga will offer deep olive green

    • 1

In ewa padded bras I always needed to up a cup size

    • 1

biflexual ok this is such a good example of band sizing vagaries with some of these brands: 22" unstretched is a BRUTALLY tiny 65, and could definitely be a contender for the situation I mentioned where it is at least tight enough to rob you of some boob room. While I think it probably is still just a hair too shallow for your larger breast regardless, I suspect you will be able to settle into the cups more securely by using an extender to add 1/2 to 1 inch of length--and then all-importantly, loosening the straps until the back of the band is able to sit horizontal with the front.
The visual signs of this fit issue are SOOO subtle in someone with your body type, it's super hard to notice, but if you look for it you can see the following clues:

      * cups subtly but noticeably forcing your breasts east-west (laterally outwards) which should give anyone pause when wearing an EM, since these bras are specifically designed to allow boobs to point straight forward

      * very faint whiskering of creases radiating outwards from the very base of the gore, suggesting unwanted fabric tension down there that shallows out that part of the cup and prevents your breasts from settling all the way in

      * very VERY faint creasing (almost invisible against this pattern...) rising up and outwards in a crescent shape on the side of the cup in this photo, just a little distance from the wire
      http://bra.pe/IoIF/

I can't guarantee that an extender will make the fit perfect--in this size range, an ultra-short band with an extender may simply lack sufficient stretch for comfort and stability, since good extenders are entirely nonstretch and the front of the bra likewise has no give. However, it's still worth a try and if you are looking for cleavage, just reducing that bit of excess lateral tension will allow the breasts to sit closer together.

    Didn't fit

I have hesitated for this review because I have sooo many mixed feelings about this bra right now, all jumbled in my head. Let me explain...

Last year, I finally got the courage to try Ewa Michalak as lcl0706 sent me her 65F Mp Kleksik to try since it was fairly tts. I fell in love with the fit, and the colour was beautiful on me. I didn’t want to send it back! But I did, and used the data from it to start buying some Ewas on my own from the listings. Still a bit R&D and learning how the sizes and styles fit. Come ... summer, I was finally considering trying a BM, and so I began saving my money to buy one. I was going to order directly, but was now turned on to Broad Lingerie and Forever Yours Lingerie, two Canadian retail shops that sell Ewas.

The fall/winter stuff was coming out and Broad had sent me a picture of the Cabernet and I had been eyeing the stuff at FYL. In the end, I opted for the Cabernet, because I had been dealing with Sam who was immensely helpful. But it was at a time when I had been experiencing growth and insecure about my size in the BM. In the end, we decided that the size to try was the 65FF, based on how the other Ewas had been fitting me. I ordered with the Black Friday sale and the deal was done. It was just a waiting game through the Canada Post strike.

When I got it, I had a virtual fitting with Sam who said that it looked good but that I *might* be able to do a size down in the cups. She really wasn’t sure, but it echoed thoughts that I had about the fit. I rotated back and forth with whether the 65FF was the right fit or not.

I knew that I would never be happy until I had tried a 65F/70E for Bra Science. I waited for a good opportunity to come along to try one, and I recently came across one. I decided to swap my 65FF PL Cappuccinowy for this 65F Kleks.

I have to say that I have wanted to try Kleks forever. I think I might have been a bit spoiled trying that Kleksik way back when. It planted the seed for an inky blue bra. And while I do have my navy Marcie, Kleks is in a class of its own, in my opinion. I was super grateful that I was able to try this as part of a swap.

Now on to the bra review. I’m gonna spoil it for you.

It’s too small. In more ways than one. The band is full lace and thus a bit firmer. I don’t think that it’s actually all that different from the other BMs I have tried, but I’m guessing it’s the lace that makes it feel tight, but it’s also small in the cups which doesn’t help. I can easily and comfortably use a full extender with the bra and it’s still sung enough, though it does not ride up and it opens the cup volume up a smidge (although it’s still cutting into tissue and quadding on both sides but less so on the smaller side). I think that I have two sets of pics up, with the second set using the extender and loosened straps. I do feel like I am getting a rounder shape, but I understand that feeling of compression that some people in my size range have said that they had

So this puts me in a real pickle. I love this bra. It’s a gorgeous shade of inky blue and the light on the lace reflects a a lighter shade. The traditional bows adorn this bra, with the addition of little twinkling gem drops. I saw a review, though I forget whose it was, and they said that the little jewels were like stars shining in the night sky. I can agree with that sentiment. They add a delicate elegance and I find this bra simply delicious!

So what do I do with it? Do I wear it with my extender under tops that I know will not show the sight quadding, save it for when/if I lose weight and volume and it will fit better, or simply pass it on? I have not decided. It’s too beautiful a bra for me to want to give away or trade, but I also know that I might never loose the weight to fit in it.

Such a heartache. I knew that I had a chance of it being too small, but I was hoping that it would work.

    • Kleks in general seems to run small! Tight band, tight cups. So a different BM in 65F might work.

    • Oh darn! I think you should keep searching for your perfect inky blue bra.

    • Hmmm... brasaremean I don't find Kleks to really run any smaller than any other of my BMs.

I have only noticed size discrepancies with Antonina and Wersal...I can squish into a 65FF, and that's what I have, but if someone ever wanted to buy them I'd sell and go for 65G like all my other Ewas.

@Calluna ...I would sell it. I don't believe in keeping expensive things around, hoping that my body will change and then it will fit. It's not healthy for the psyche or wallet.

There are many other gorgeous navy bras out there:

Kinga has beautiful Adele(amazingly similar to Kleks but padded)

KrisLine has an inky blue Fortuna for spring and a navy one for fall

Gorsenia has 3 on sale right now: Felice $12 Can, Ashley $25Can and Deborah $24. All available in your size - 65F.

They also have 2 navy blue stunners coming in fall...one is navy eyelash lace/mesh like my Paradise and the other is a navy mesh with navy and red flame-like embroidery.

    • 1

Why not sell it and buy a 70F with the money?

    • cupandahalf I can’t sell it. It’s from a swap. I swapped it for my 65FF PL Cappuccinowy which I got from another swap. I don’t think that it’s ethical to sell from a swap.

    • AprilGoulding I will have a look at those but I am very unfamiliar with those brands and fit, or whether they are suitable for my shape. Plus, I’m saving y money for an Attollo bra, in which they have navy and light blue options (but sold out right now).

    • Calluna well, for less than $15 you can try the Gorsenia. If it fits : awesome! You know that you now have many options for less than $40. Gorsenia fit is very consistant and prices are great. You've seen me ranting...
And if it doesn't fit, you didn't waste your savings trying an expensive bra.

    • It is sooo pretty, but it definitely looks too small. So disappointing. :(

    • 1

I am curious if everyone thinks that someone should not sell a bra they got in an exchange? I have not don it, but am now wondering about it since Calluna brought it up. I think it is different than a free bra, since you did actually give something of value to get this new bra... I don't know. And it can be challenging to find someone else to exchange with who both wears the same size and has a bra that you are interested in. Thoughts?

    • 1

      I personally think it's fine.

AprilGoulding My Kleks and Apricot are both tighter in the cup than my other 65GGs as well as a little tighter in the band!

    • 1

I think selling after an exchange is perfectly fine too.

      @brasaremean hmmmmm...head scratching

    • veggiechic to clarify, I received two 65G S bras from a girl that was pregnant and no longer fit them. She sent them to me for the cost of shipping, so basically free. I think I paid about $10 to have them shipped to my friend when I was out in LA. I sent one of them to Korea as a swap for the 65FF PL Cappuccinowy. I decided to swap that bra which was also basically new for the 65F Kleks. So while the bra does have value, I did not pay for it or the two bras that I swapped prior to get it with. I don’t want to profit off of something that I never paid for. Does that make sense? I can still consider listing the bra as an exchange, of course.

    • AprilGoulding what size and style would I be looking at in a Gorsenia? Bearing in mind that I am not the same shape as you..

    • Thanks Sonya, I know...I’m heartbroken. But it’s not a total surprise. I knew that I had a 50/50 chance of it not fitting.

    • brasaremean I’m not sure, as the depth is pretty much consistent on the ones I have seen, with the exception of Bibi Black/Flamenco. And possibly the croptop (kroptop?) as the depth of the 70E listed is larger than the other 70E listed (which is comparable with the Kleks). And I trust that user’s measurements at this point. Plus, a review of that also said the cups of it are generous. So yes, a few potential 65F/70E BM bras might fit, as long as it is more than 9” depth.

    • 1

AprilGoulding my apologies... I reread your comment and you said 65F is what I would need for a Gorsenia. I have no idea what they fit like or what sizing methods they use. I’ll look at the styles you suggested.

    • Calluna...you are looking at Ewa BM style here, which I would compare to Gorsenia softcups. Some are full lace with stretch, some are half...like Bibi...I'm in 65G, so I would guess you to be 65F...contact MagdaBras4you She is the expert..

    • Ok. I can’t seem to find these sale bras mentioned. I’m not sure where they are. Nothing I have found is remotely similarly priced. Maybe I need some caffeine to google properly.

    • Thanks. The gores look tall and wide. Is that just a result of the size range (scaling) that’s being shown?

    • 1

Calluna gore is about 1/2 cm higher but no wider than EM..wires are tiny bit more narrow - deeper U shape on outer edge.

      See photos here:

      http://imgur.com/a/d6RGgHq

    • Thanks. I don’t know if I will pursue this brand any further. I have been seeing mention of an elastic strip on the top of the cup which I don’t do well with. It just cuts into my soft tissue and creates quad boob.

    • 1

Sorry you didn't get the perfect fit with this bra. I felt the same with sizing though... wasn't sure if 65F was gonna fit but I had to try to know for sure. Good luck finding a substitute!

  4. M Syrena (791)

I received this bra from Sonya as a swap for my S Syrena a little while ago, and I finally got a chance to wear it for a full day recently. The biggest surprise to me was the band. I was a little unsure if this band would be too big for me, as I prefer something that only stretches to around 26-26.5". Having said that, I can wear this bra on the second set of hooks and it is perfectly secure and comfortable. I think this is utterly ridiculous, considering it's a "30 band", but it works in my favour. So for y'all who ... are reading up on and considering the M cut, just know that you should sister size up at least one, if not two band sizes. Other than that, it fits the same as my M Chaberek; narrow-medium wire width, and lots of immediate and apex projection. It gives me quite a projected silhouette, which I'm not as much a fan of these days (I prefer a more minimized and close-to-the-chest silhouette), but it works well for when I want that look. The only slight quibble I have with it is that the ribbon that is sewn over the horizontal cup seam seems to give the cup itself a little bit of "quad-boob", but it's not severe enough for me to be bothered.

Overall, I'm quite happy with this trade, as I love the look of Syrena, but I just didn't wear my S anymore because it's so big for my frame. The M works much better for me, and is more in proportion with my figure.

Yeah the M cuts say on the site that the band is tight, to which I think...if you know the band is tight, why don’t you fix it then? I am lost at the concept of knowing the band is tight and doing nothing about it.

Anyway, Syrena is beautiful. I recently got a 65FF S Syrena from Sonya , so maybe it was yours? Love how this community shares.

I can kinda get sometimes wanting to be minimized, and I have heard that M is really projected. Glad that it’s working for you on some levels at least.

    • 1

      It looks great on you!

    • Thank you both! Calluna mine was a 60G, but I've definitely low-key tracked some of my old bras as they've changed hands over the years too lol.

    Didn't fit

My shape is low set, soft, slightly centre full with short and narrow roots. I think I am slightly conical too, since most unlined bras give me a bit of a bullet shape!

Keep in mind I only tried this bra on for like 5-10 minutes before doing this review. The fit isn't amazing on me, so I think I may re-sell this one.

This bra is gorgeous, with its cream and beiges. The beige is almost golden and it's slighty shiny. There are little bows on the straps, and one on the gore - along with a little jewel. The lace covers the entire bra including the band ... around to the clasps. The band fits snug but not tight on my 28" ribcage. It measured just shy of 29" before the wires started to distort. Just about right for me. The wires are narrow, but the wings seemed a bit short for me, and I had a bit of side boob escaping. I'm not sure if it's because the cups are just slightly too small or what? I also felt like my breasts weren't securely contained in the centre and top. The upper part of the cups are lace and just a loose lining of mesh, and I think the upper section cut off half way over my nipple, so I felt like I was going to pop out of the top of the cup (or like it may slip down). The support is actually quite good for an unlined bra. I think if it were slightly bigger, I would feel very contained and secure. The straps are wide set, but I have a fairly wide frame, so they are not too bad for me. I could feel a little pressure against my tail of spence, so not sure if that would cause some chaffing during a whole day's wear.

The shape is nice, albeit a bit more natural looking. If I let the straps out to a comfortably loose length, I definately got more pointy than I prefered, but that's just my natural shape, so can't do much about that. It wasn't as rounded as say... Cleo Marcie... but not as pointy as some other unlined bras I've tried. If I tightened the straps up a bit, the shape got rounder.

I can't quite tell if the bottom of the cups had enough projection for me. I only tried it on, but I kept expecting the bottom of the cup to wrinkle (it didn't. Not sure if that would have changed with a whole day wear).

Overall, the quality is excellent, the appearance is stellar, and the comfort is good. I'd keep it if I felt like it fit properly, but I it feels just a bit off to me.

Looking at these photos, I would say you look kinda squished for the most part. If you get a chance, you should try a cup size up.

With that said, you and I are very similar in shape and I have the same issue (in the right size) with the upper lace just sort of feeling less secure. I have been in denial about why, thinking it's just too big, but I think I just lack that top fullness in order for it to feel secure. Just can't fill it out. So if you're FOB like me, maybe that's all there is to it!

    • 1

Looks a bit small to me, they're normally more full coverage than this.

    • 1

Looks a little small to me too. Gorgeous bra though and looks great against your skin. I love that the lace goes all around the band.

    • 1

brasaremean and Sovavosi I was thinking it might be too small. I'm always in between sizes in EM though... with the bigger size gaping and the smaller size puffing. It's so frustrating. I'd love to try a La Gloria in a 65FF if I ever get the chance (or one of the older Szmaragds).

    • 1

Thanks AprilGoulding . I was dissapointed it didn't fit better. If I ever see a bratabase listing in 65FF I may try it out.

    • 1

Wilderness1 I'm sorry that this bra didn't work out for you. It is truly gorgeous.

    • 1

Agreed with everything above. Gorgeous but a bit small.

    • 1

Calluna it's a let down... I was hoping it would be magically perfect.

This is my first BM purchase and I think it is a fail. WAH!

The fit of this bra is just not right. My breasts feel very compressed and don't seem to be able to fill the bottom of the cup. I get a weird shape because my breasts are moving up to compensate for the shallowness at the bottom of the cup. I don't know if the mesh lining at the bottom is too firm, or if this is standard for BMs, but I am not feeling the promised stretchiness. But, I don't know if a large size will be a better fit, as I worry that I won't fit the top of a larger cup. Sigh.

On the plus side, the bra is gorgeous. This lace and colour are to die for. The band is firm and fits my 27" inch ribcage very well. I would not want to size down in the band on this bra.

That's such a shame, and shows how photos can be deceiving cause it looks great on you.
That being said, the bottom of BMs is never stretchy (and Kaska will make sure to tell you so), only the top lace. I will check my Baklazan but I do recall thinking Baklazan and Rubin both have a more rigid construction in the bottom than my Fluo or Bibi Black. I will get back to you with that.

    • 1

Calluna you made a good call with the 65FF!!!!

    • brasaremean thanks! I am a little devastated because I ordered a Rubin and a la Gloria in 65F during the BF sale. I might cry.

    • 1

How is the band fit upside down and backwards, so your breasts are not in the cup? The band might be too big and your boobs are taking up space in it, making it feel tight.

    • 1

Rubin and La Gloria (by my measurements) both have a little wider cups which makes up for them being shallow at the bottom. Idk if it's a size thing but hopefully they fit better!
That being said, Rubin *is* my fav BM, simply because the tulle on top adapts so well to breast shape! Even when it should be quadding it doesn't because it's just so well done.

    • Sovavosi The band feels okay upside and backwards. I think it is a cup problem. You can also see in the photos that the bottom of the cup looks relatively flat and unfilled. Its such a weird shape

    • Thanks brasaremean maybe they won't be such a terrible fit.

    • 1

      Gotta stay positive ;)

    • 1

brasaremean all in the name of bra science. I guess if they don't fit me, they will fit someone else here.

    • Oh, too bad you didn’t get a great fit. It is such a beautiful bra! Although your review makes me worry about the one I’m getting...

    • Wilderness1 I am hoping that this is just a fluke fit. Maybe this particular BM is shallower than others?

    • 1

Maybe the rogue seamstress strikes again!

    • rachaelll I tried a La Gloria in a cup size too small - 65F - and had zero problems sinking down into it. And, as I think you know, I need major projection at the wire. I'm hoping you'll be fine with yours when it comes.
It's a shame this one doesnt fit. It's beautiful and cour is great on you.

    • It does look shallow from the sides, very beautiful though. Too bad it doesn't fit.

    • It looks gorgeous on you, so sorry it's less than ideal of a fit. :-(

@Sovavosi I agree, our rouge seamstress strikes again!! ;-P

    • MamaPagan do you think it would be worth trying one size up?

    • rachaelll My answer is always yes, it is worth it, as you'll never know if you don't try. That being said, it would greatly depend on how much you like the bra. Is it worth the expense to you if the results don't yield a perfect fit? Do you feel that you can easily sell this one, and the size up, if it doesn't fit, for an amount that would compensate the cost, or enough that you don't feel like you're throwing money away? Or woyld it be one you could happily hold on to as a backup, for any unforeseen size changes that occur? Are the fit issues minimal enough to you that you feel sizing up a cup will resolve them? There are a lot of pros and cons to consider.

To me, I love the bra (such a gorgeous shade of purple!) and I love the BM style as it is my favorite. So if mine was too small, yes I would buy it again in the size up. But I am also very familiar with how the BM style typically fits me, and the rouge variants that can arise in my range, so it is much easier for me to confidently gamble with the fit. If it was my first BM, I would be more hesitant, and would most likely wait for the next BM new release sale to test out the fit and sizing at a cheaper price instead. That's just me though.

What does your intuition tell you?

    • I do wonder why it's so shallow at the wire in that size when both mine and MamaPagan seem to have a lot of depth at the wire :/

    • 1

MamaPagan I was lucky enough to buy this BM from Forever Yours - a Canadian bra store that stocks EM. I've emailed them to see if I can exchange it for a 65FF. So it may be possible that I can try a larger size without incurring any additional costs. This would be 100% ideal. I would like to try a larger size to see if the fit issues can be resolved. I do want to see if it is possible for me to achieve the coveted round shape that many bratabase ladies yet from the BM.

    • 1

brasaremean I am hoping that this was a one-off and that this is not how all BMs fit in this size range. Fingers crossed it is just a case of a rogue seamstress.

    • 1

Fingers crossed a size up is a perfect fit!

    • brasaremean Depth at my size is a given, so not really comparable unfortunately, but I do get what you mean. Mine measured at the higher end of the cup range for my size, so @rachaelll's experience appears to be the opposite. I know both yours and mine had a lot of nice stretch to the tops as well, which also sounds like it's lacking on this one. I say Sovavosi nailed it with the rouge seamstress. Maybe they used a wider wire, lessening the immediate projection?

@rachaelll That would be ideal so hopefully she has one to exchange. Fingers crossed that it works out!!

    • This looks so beautiful. Sorry about the fit.

    • Though my Cabernet is also shallow so maybe there is something up with the sizing in our size range??

    • 1

Sorry to read that this isn't as perfect as you were hoping. I would suggest trying one of the Bibi BM's if you can (the beige, white, black, or red), because those are only a single layer of stretchy knitwear for the bottom of the cups, and I find it much more forgiving for bottom fullness. (I own the beige one, plus literally four other BM's, so take a browse through my reviews to compare if you want).

    • 1

sherrach898 thank you for the advice! I actually have a Black Bibi in 60FF on the way from Broad that I am very nervous about. I hope it is a better fit. I will check out your reviews :)

    • rachaelll you might be able to do the BM Bibi Black in a 60FF as that style reportedly fits bigger in the cups than the others.

    • Calluna I hope so!! I am so sad about the fit of this bra. I had such high hopes for it.

    • I understand. Completely. I’m kinda in the same boat. My Cabernet is comfortable and looks good, although it is not quite as round as I was expecting it to be (although I knew that it was a little bit more natural shaped) and I have wrinkles at the wire. It’s so beautiful and soft and I love the stretch lace, but I’m not sure if it’s really the best fit for me. I have been wearing it all day today for the first time, so I’ll be able to see the wire marks and how close they match my root. I’m trying to figure out what is causing this. Is it the size? Is it my boob shape and type? Is it a rogue bra or style? I know that the review of the 60FF also mentioned that it was shallow, so maybe it’s really just the cutbacks

    • Cutbacks = cut.

    • 1

Calluna its so hard to know whether or not the BMs we have are typical for the size range. There are limited data, photos and reviews in the smaller sizes, so it's hard to know whether or not the shallowness is typical or atypical. The reviews that I did find, like the ones done by sherrach898 don't mention any similar problems and in fact, seem very positive about the cut.
However, I do know that the fit of this particular BM is untenable for me - there is just no projection at the wire. Forever Yours is out of stock of all their BMs in 65FF, so I'm not sure what to do next. I did see one in stock at Brava, but am wary of shelling out another $100 for a bra that might not be the right shape. However, it does strike me as significant that both of us are having similar problems with shallowness, even though we have different shapes and sizes (with me being slightly smaller). Perhaps there were some changes to the pattern in the smaller sizes with the new BM models.

    • Broad just got their La Glorias and FY has that and Rubin which know does not help since you have the same ones in 65F coming already. Have you checked out Levana Bratique yet?

    • I’m quite interested to see how the 70E Baklazan fits lcl0706. She should have hers soon.

    • 1

rachaelll i think this is a typical 65F BM & I think it’s too small on you. Lovely color, makes me excited to pick mine up today.

    • 2

lcl0706 thanks! So, do you think I would get a better fit in a 65FF? I hope yours is perfect. The colour of the lace is heavenly.

    • 1

rachaelll yeah I think a 65FF would be better. Idk if you have firm or soft tissue, but if it’s firm it’s less likely to quad at the stretch lace or over the tops of the cups - but yet you can tell you look & feel very compressed in this bra. I think it’s your new reviews I was reading through yesterday & thinking everything looked like 1/2 cup too small.

I’m so glad this bra is as purple as it is. It was hard to tell on Ewas site. Purple is my fave color & ive yet to find a purple bra that really fits! I’m also glad to know your 65 only stretches to 27” - I need a band to hit 29” before I’m comfortable in it, glad I went with the 70. Sounds ridiculous that I need to order a 32 band so I can be sure it stretches to 29”, thanks Ewa.

    • 1

Those were my reviews! This has been a very sad weekend of bra fails. Everything I ordered came int too small - except for the 60G CHP that fits perfectly. I must have experienced some growth over the past month or so, or I have terrible luck. Fingers crossed that your 70E is a perfect 29".

    • 2

lcl0706 I can only hope that someone else on bratabase ordered a 65FF BM in the black Friday sale and wants to swap for a 65F.

    • 1

rachaelll I ordered 3 BMs (omg, I know. So bad) and I'm on the cusp between 65FF and 65G so we will see... wink

    • 2

AprilGoulding - I'm your girl if you need to sell them off :)

    • 1

AprilGoulding Im interested in 65FF aswell! ;) Which one did you order?

    • 2

rachaelll BronteBeach Antonina, Fluo and Wersal.
Also SM Wanillia, HM Sekret Wiktori and S Pralinowy.
      I went on a spree #newboobssyndrome

    • 1

shotgun for antonina in case it doesnt fit you! :D I got it in 65F but it was too small (and also bis too loose :/ )

    • 1

oh and I know this syndrome! :D I put on weight and got up one cup size and I'm all back in this feeling that I had after sergery! (especially because I always wanted a "G" cup (no idea why) and now I got it :D :)) )

    • 1

Oh I meant 60G (so still interested in the 65FF) haha
      (sorry cannot edit^^

    • 1

BronteBeach I bought two padded 65FF EM bras (one PL and one S) that were slightly too big for me. The band on both was very firm. I usually need a 60, and I found these to be perfect. If you are interested - they are listed. I would be happy to pass them on to you.

    • 1

AprilGoulding that sounds like a dream haul! I've been lusting after the Wersal and Fluo forever. Please give us all the details when they arrive!!!

    • I might be interested in the Wersal if it doesn’t work. I looked at it but it’s out of my budget for now.

    • 2

Curious about how the Secret Wictori is going to fit AprilGoulding

    • 1

@rachaelli at the moment only BM fits me right :/ S never fit me and pl is just uncomfortable at the moment :(

    • 2

BronteBeach I completely understand that. I struggle with both cuts as well.

My shape is low set, short and narrow rooted, slightly pendulous, and soft.

This bra is like a plunge balcony on me. I don't mind the shape but I do prefer a more rounding profile. This one leaves me slightly more 'natural' looking, which I don't mind...it's just not ideal. I do find the bottom of the cups a tad bit shallow. It has decent apex depth but not enough depth at the wire for me. The bra is a non-stretch lace that stops at the band (doesn't go all the way around). The straps are plain black, but there is a cute little ribbon detail on each strap that I thought gave this bra something extra. It is a piece of ribbon folded over with a button on it. The centre gore charm is a simple bow with a button on it. The support feels sturdy for a lace bra, and the band measures and fits slightly snug for a 65, which I prefer. Overall good quality bra that is also pretty.

    • It's very pretty on you! I like the look of it better than the other one (both are nice though) but I agree that it's a little bit shallow looking at the wire and the shape is not quite rounded. Which is ok every now and again, I think.

    • 1

Thanks! It's nice to finally try an SM. I've been watching out of SMs and BMs for a while, so I was glad this one came up to try. It's not a perfect fit but it is comfortable and pretty anyways.

    • 1

I have one of these on the way now. It's used and was a good price, so a great chance to try an SM. I'm slightly worried that it's going to be a little bit small, but we will see. I've got this one and another Ewa (also used) on the way.

    • Calluna hopefully it fits you well...I'll keep an eye out for your review ;)

    • How do you find the gore? I've tried 2 SMs and the gore stabbed me on both.

    • Sonya truthfully I don't remember. I never really wore this one because it never fit me properly.

    • 1

Thanks. I’m expecting it/them later next week or early the week after. It went out yesterday, from New York, so customs and time to get out west. But it’s usually about 5 days from New York. I’m hoping that they fit. The plunge is a 65FF and the SM is 65F...in my mind, I feel like the opposite sizes might be better, but we’ll see. Prices were really good, so it’s all for bra science.

This bra is for more narrow set breasts with projection. For me, this cuts in to my wide root boobs. The gore separation is perfect and doesn’t lean forward or cut in.

Another day another Ewa Michalak SM.

This is so pretty. The soft apricot and celadon green embroidery on the beige background is vintage girly. I could see my grandmother wearing this set, and I mean that in the best way. The crosshatch pattern on an otherwise plain looking band is a really nice subtle touch.
The band is nice and snug at 65. Three columns, boo. I wonder how Ewa and her team decide what bras get three and what ones get four.
The wires are exactly in my fold and pretty much hug my root. I have no complaints here.
The shape is nice and green. Up front and lifted.
The straps ... :/ I hate them so much. They're not nearly as nice as the ones that were on my 65DD - Ewa Michalak » Hm Summer Time (why, Ewa?! Why use a different elastic?!). They are sooooo stretchy and thin. These are worse than the ones on my 65F - Ewa Michalak » Sm Czarna Mgiełka (481) that I also loathe. I have the adjusters sitting on my traps already just to keep the sucker in place. They are heavily embroidered, so they're very difficult to adjust. The bright side of that is they stay put. If I knew how to replace them, I so would.
I love the bra in spite of the terrible and uncomfortable straps.

Size 36 bottoms for my 38" bum and 31" hip bones. Super comfy and wicked cute. I really do love her underwear.

Edit: Ewa sent me a set of straps like those used on the CHP version of this bra. They are not embroidered, they're thicker, and they're significantly more comfortable. I replaced them in June of 2016.

So, as a Comexim 3HC lover (narrower and more projected the better), after holding out on trying Ewa Michalak for a long time due to fear of straps being placed too wide, I finally took the plunge to try out this CHP when I saw a listing in my size and price range. And wow, am I glad I did - I think this is my new HG fit! The projection in this 65F EM CHP is better than a 65G or 70F in a Comexim 3HC, it's now my second favorite bra after my Comexim 3HC Beauty in 70F (which appears to be cut more like a ... 70G from comparison to other styles). The projection is legendary for a reason. I was pleased to also find the straps are just within my narrow shoulders' tolerance range, not in my armpits as I feared. And I mean, it's just a gorgeous bra - bright, feminine, but not too obnoxious or twee for my tastes. Oh, plus, the cookies/cookie pockets - I'm in love. For the first time in my life my right and left boobs can enjoy the same fit!!! I seriously underestimated how much I'd love that. One downside: the cups are a tiny, tiny bit this side of too big for me, and I'm currently at the higher end of the weight range I fluctuate within. Meaning, left boob is a perfect fit with maybe a tiny bit of extra wiggle room, but right boob needs like 1 1/2 cookies to be where it needs to (I currently have 2 stuffed in the cookie pocket which looks a tiny bit weird if you look close maybe, but invisible if not looking for it). But overall, amazing cleavage, finally fun color that fits, can't complain, and a great first experience with an Ewa Michalak bra. I'm curious about the quadding I might see in a 65E, but I think it could potentially still be a good fit in this cut, especially at the slightly lower end of the weight range within which I fluctuate (thanks 5'1" body for +/- 5 lbs making life such an adventure). Any thoughts on that?

Have you looked at the size differences between the F and E cups here in bratabase? That'll give you an idea. I flux between two cups due to asymmetry as well and Ewa isn't atrocious if you drop a cup down as the change in size from one cup to another isn't a full inch in depth but the wire width can be slightly wider on the larger cup. I'd check here to see if anyone has measured in your size range :)

    • 1

Glad you found a great fit, junebug506 ! Ewa Michalak has some gorgeous bras. I second fabulouslyfullfigure 's suggestion to compare 65E and 65F measurements in other EM CHPs. How much of the month are you at your smaller size? If most of the time, you may prefer a CHP in 65E most of the time.

Looks fantastic on you! Like Ellace but more supportive: sounds lovely :-) :-)

    • I have the first SF that came out in beige, and I took that in a 75, and it took months until I could put it on the second hook. But this one in 75 was on the 2nd/3rd hook right away, and has stretched out more rapidly. So I wonder if you'll still suggest going up a band in another month.

    • Do you notice a big different in lower cup support with this SF compared to other unlined cups (even compared to other brands)? I've been debating if I should try an SF, and I need that lower support to hold everything up.

    • 1

dbmamaz that's interesting, I hope mine loosens up quickly. However it does suck when you get a band that fits well and it loosens too fast. Hopefully more SF's get added so there's more info on band length.

Wilderness1 I think it might be, it's a little hard for me to say for sure though, as it's not quite as perfect a fit as some of my other unlined bras.

    • When the first one came out, the website listed it as a tight band, but now that designation is off. I think they just designed the band sizing wrong and then fixed it - there was also some stitching problem where at least 2 of us had stitching come undone on the band in the first month we had it. So i think it was just the fine tuning

  12. Chp Office (918)

It’s been a while since I last ordered a half cup from Ewa Michalak. Their half cups used to be my favourite bras and I’ve owned many of them in 65E and 65DD but they are all too small now. I only kept the CHP Miedziak which has quite big cups, and the CH Cherry which became too small very quickly. I decided to try out the new styles in 65F. To try the new size, I choose the beautiful CHP Red Wine and the CHP Office, which I’ve been lusting for since I saw the first previews many months ago.
The Office is simple and elegant. I ... guessed that the material is actually the same as in the S Glamour and BM Naomi and I love it, it’s very soft and good quality. I like the way it reflects the light and its delicate colour. The shiny material combined with the lace cup edging and the satin ribbons makes it really beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. I would prefer more elegant straps, these are the ones they’ve been always using. They’re fully adjustable and a little bit stretchier than I like.
I choose the 65 band which is my usual EM size in “normal” bands, even though I’m seriously thinking about definitely switching to 70 bands as some of them run tight and I can always fasten a looser band on the second or last hook. I also thought the CHP style wouldn’t be as tight as the S or the unlined bras I recently bought. This 65 band is actually tight. I can wear it without extender but I must have a sensitive skin because I’ve always needed my bands looser than what my measurements actually suggest. However I decided to keep this size as it’ll stretch out a little.
I’m always reticent about sizing up in the cups, even when I spill out of my current size. Actually, I sometimes get stuck between two cup sizes, when the smaller size is too small and the bigger one too big. In that case, I always prefer the smaller size. However, my last CHP and CH bras became unwearable and I decided that sizing up would be necessary of I want to wear EM halfcups.
I was unsure about the fit as I’m full on bottom and don’t have tons of upper fullness that the half cups require and my breast tissue is quite soft. I can actually see that this cut isn’t such a good fit for my shape as the S cut. Overall, this size fits and I mostly fill out the cups but I can see some quadding near the gore and some empty space near the straps attachment. It can only be seen from very close and the shape under the clothes is very rounded and projected, much more than in any of my Ss. Compared to the CHP Red Wine I find the cup edge in this one more open, it’s kind of straight instead of following the breast shape, just like the CH Cherry. This shape reminds me a lot of the old HP Czarny and could particularly accommodate FOT boobs.

I was so excited to get to try this bra out! It's beautiful, there isn't much information about the small end of the BM cut, and it's a new-to-me unlined style. Disappointing result, as the cups are still quite big on me despite aiming for the smallest size I've ever worn in any Ewa bra. Oh well. Live and learn. I don't think the BM style is off limits to the smaller size range, but it definitely demands taller roots and more upper fullness than I have. The high quality and narrow wires still apply to Mojito. Full review on the blog!

    • I just ordered a BM in this size... I hope it doesn't run as deep as yours did-I need about an inch less depth. Thanks for your review.

    • I always need more depth in an unlined fuller coverage bra than a padded lower coverage bra. It's like comparing apples to oranges. It should fit you better. I think youre a bit fuller all over than me.

    • Yeah, tall cups are my friends. I'm always surprised at the amount of depth I can fill in an unlined cup which is a good thing in this case. While 9 inches is a good depth for me in padded bras, I can fill anything from like 9.25 inches to 10 in unlined bras. It's a shame this didn't fit you as that colour looks so lovely on you.

    • Oh your one look like an exception with the cup depth! I have in 70DD chaberek and szmaragd and they're like 2 sizes smaller rather than just one.. I think it's just mislabelled

    • martka00 it was made to order for me, so it's not like they grabbed a stock bra and sent it on its way. I doubt it's mislabeled, but maybe this model runs bigger. Who knows, you wouldn't think one BM would run bigger than another but stranger things have happened.

I love the aesthetics of this bra, the band does run quite small, and I was aware since I bought it from another Bratabase user, but I was really curious about the M cut and love the Magique anyhow, nothing an extender or 2 can't fix, and at least I didn't have to wait a month to see if it would even work.

The bra fits me fairly well, both with and without the cookies. The cookies for this bra are a bit challenging to put in, they slide in through a small side pocket and you have to bend them a bit to squeeze them ... in. While it fits well both ways, with the pads gives some extreme cleavage (I will take some more photos with pads in once I dig them out of the bra drawer).

The wires are a bit wide, but not excessively they are within the realm of what works for me at about 5.3in, and they are also quite short (about a 1.5cm shorter than than the PL). The straps are still wideset like most EM's, but are narrower straps, which could be a pro or con depending on your preference, personally I think if they were wider they may be a bit irritating, but they do feel a bit flimsy (they are completely elastic), so you may need to adjust them a bit throughout the day, but they are easily adjustable. I measured the distances between straps on the M compared to PL's of the same size and they seem to be close if not the same depending on the PL.

I think the primary difference between the PL and the M is the cup height with the M being about 2cm shorter than the PL. The gore is also a hair lower, but almost literally a hair lower, and the PL's range a bit in the ones I have from 1.75 to 2in while the M is 1.6in.

If the PL works for you and you want lower coveage the M could also work. The cup depth seems to be mostly the same between the 3 PL's and the 1 M I have at about 8.25, with one PL measuring 8.5. You may want to size up in the band though, it is noted on EM's website that the band on the M runs small, since I only have one M I can't speak to how true that is across the line, but this one does fit more ike a 60 than a 65.

    • I wish the M Magique fit me as well as it fits you, amandafire ! The M Magique's wings are noticeably lower than those of my many 3Ds. I think the PL's wings are also higher than the M Magique's. I'll have to check my PL Szykus to be sure. Anyway, this bra looks fantastic on you!

    • Thanks learningaboutbras. I double checked the wing height of my PL's and the M. 2 of the PL's are 3.25 like the M and 1 PL is 3.5, that particular PL has also measured a bit larger in some other aspects as well.

  15. S Opium (825)

There was no doubt for me that this bra is an absolute must have, I just had to decide which cut to choose. As a new, and very enthusiastic, convert to the S cut, the choice was pretty clear, even if I love the CHP cut and I visually prefer it to the PL or S, regardless of the design.
I just can’t praise enough this pattern, it’s so colourful and bright and I love the watercolour style. I tried to figure out why it’s called Opium and I concluded that these flowers are supposed to be poppies. The straps, the cup edge and bows match great the pattern. ... The cups are covered with a very soft material (I hope it won’t pill in the future).
As in the Glamour, the straps are a little shorter that in Pralinka and Letnia noc (or even in my BMs).
I was unsure about the cup shape that seemed weird to me on stock photos. I knew that the fit was different, but I didn’t know why – was it because of softer wires or a closed cup edge? Finally, in my size, the difference is barely noticeable. The cup edge is, indeed, a little bit more closed on top than in Glamour, but I don’t need to size up (very accommodative breast tissue). The only visible particularity is a more pointy shape.
To top it off, Opium is very comfy, but these days I feel good in all of my bras, probably because of my weight gain.

So nice to see more photos of this. Excited to get mine in the CHP cut.

      I love the S & PL cuts.

    • Queequeg0925 is even more beautiful in person, really nice coulours!
Prettyncharmeuse if I were to buy it in the CHP, I would definitely choose the 65E. I have 4 EM halfcups left and excepting the Prohibicja, they all fit in 65e/70dd. It's too bad there's any plunge style available below the 65F for the Opium.

    • This almost looks like a plunge compared to the other "S" models I've been looking at! Might have to add this to my ever growing cart.

  16. S Letnia Noc (733)

When S Letnia Noc came out it didn’t catch my attention because 1. I was out of the size range with my 65e at the time, 2. I didn’t like the print and the colours. I recently discovered the S cut with the Orzechowa Pralinka and wanted to try more bras. I continued to keep an eye on this one in martka00's listings and have finally decided to give it a try. By reading reviews full of praises about its beauty, I ended up loving the floral print and contrasting colours. As often, the bra is more interesting in reality than on pics. On the stock ... photos it seemed to me cold and I’m not fan of this shade of blue, rose and green and all these colours mixed together. The colours are actually vivid and deep, particularly the blue ribbon on the straps and the lace edging on the cups. Even if it's overall cold, the colours turned out to nicely match my pale skin.
My first impression was that this bra, compared to Pralinka, is very soft. In fact, Pralinka is more rigid so that it provides an impressive uplift. Letnia noc also features softer wires. I think that’s why the gore doesn’t always tack (but it doesn’t bother me).
The band is really nice, TTS, not as tight as in pralinka, I don’t need the extender and it’s very comfortable.
The cups give a slightly different shape than Pralinka, a little bit less lifted and centred but the difference is barely noticeable.
It seems that the cups are closed on top in this model but it doesn’t make any difference in my case as I’m FOB.
The straps are covered with a blue shiny ribbon in the front part. They can be fully adjustable, you just need to pass through the ribbon. As always in this size, the straps are quite long on me, the sliders are almost on my shoulders (I'm average height - 168cm - and my breast isn't particularly high set).
I've complaint about the wide set straps in this cut. After trying it for a few weeks I have finally got used to their new position and I no longer have the impression that they're about to slide off.

    Fits

I got this in a swap from another user. This fits just like my other PL cuts. I don't know why but I really love bras with the black/tan combination. I have a CHP Cappuccino that is too small and loved the aesthetic of it, but after trying CH and CHP in multiple sizes I think its just not the right cut for me even though Comexim 3HC works. With EM I think the PL is my best fit, and possibly S but I've only tried one and it was a cup too big.

I also love this bra and wear it all the time - have it on right now actually. It's super comfy! Looks great on you!

I'm wearing mine now too, put it on to take photos since I hadn't yet and I had been wearing my EM HP which I decided to list so I left this one on. Definitely is super comfy.

I got this one from the exchange with martka00, thank you!
This cut is new to me. It was conceived for smaller busts (MP means mały plunge - small plunge) and I think the bet is won and I’m surprised this cut hasn’t met more success.

    The cups:
They’re very, very low. I think it’s fantastic in smaller sizes, but I’m on the borderline where this height causes jiggle and quad boob. It’s not because of the too small cup (which encloses all the breast tissue), but precisely because of the too low cup. Because of that, I feel like my boobs were heavy and they also look ... like.
The underwires are narrow, even narrower than in my S Pralinka but they’re also more flexible so in practice they’re actually wider, but still OK.
Ewa says this cut may require sizing up in the cup and it’s true in my case. It’s smaller than PLs in 70DD and S in 65F. However, I'm not sure if 65FF (if it existed) would fit, the wires would be probably too wide.

The band is rather on the looser side, but the bra is used. It feels a little loose on the first hook but I have 2 more left.

    The quality:
This is where I’m a little disappointed. In most cases, EM bras present a great quality, but this one must be one of the exceptions to the rule https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Don’t get me wrong, it’s not catastrophic, but sometimes I think they don’t really test their materials before deciding to make a bra of it. The material in TzM pills a lot, especially on the band and that’s exactly what happened to my Burek after 1 (one) wear! On the other hand, I must admit it’s very soft and the bra is very comfortable.

I have now tried the 3 padded EM styles. They are all great constructions, create a nice cleavage and every cut has its advantages. In my case and at this moment, the S cut seems to be the best choice, as it provides more support and stability. TzM is not the most supportive, at least in this size and on these boobs, but it might be a great deal for firmer breast.

    • Oh sorry it didn't fit you as well :( ! I guess this one runs like 1.5 size smaller not just 1

    • I had nothing to lose by giving it a try ;) I expected it wouldn't be a great fit. I'll keep it for the moment because it's super comfy and nobody can see the bad fit when I'm at home :D

    • Yeah, the softness of this bra is really good! But also looks stunning - I wish to get so much cleavage !! Even with too small cops I never can have that much 😭

    Didn't fit

This is a really pretty bra, but unfortunately did not fit me at all. It's a bit different from CH Onyx and CH Lilia in that the cups are somewhat taller, and more open. The cups are about a centimeter taller. Therefore, it fits a lot bigger and didn't work for me. The little strap things above the cups also do not seem to work very well on me. My roots are quite tall and my breast is quite flat, so it just sort of hangs there. This might also be because the cups were much too large on me, and I ... wasn't getting any lift, but they will definitely need to be moved up to look more flattering on me.
The band on this bra is fairly true to size. It is quite comfortable, but too large on my 25 inch ribs. This particular size does not have the wires going all the way to the ends, so while the gore is quite tall, the wire doesn't go all the way to the end, making it wearable as far as gore height on me.
The normal straps used in this bra are absolutely terrible! They are very cheap feeling and rough. They irritate my skin a bit and I really dislike the thinness. I would have preferred thicker straps so I could tighten them more and get more lift.
Overall, it's a pretty bra. I like the colour and the big bow in the center as well as the concept of the straps over the breasts. Unfortunately, I have sent this bra back in exchange for the 65E, hoping it will work. I'm a little hesitant about how that one will fit since the wires get significantly narrower according to the measurements.

    • Very interesting the CH Cherry fits so differently from the CH Onyx and CH Lilia!

    • 1

My CH Cherry also runs big. But I can't return or sell it since it's a CH & they're so rare. So it's going to become my project bra lol, I have some alterations in mind to do this weekend.

I've received this one together with Mgielka and Syrena, and this one fits better. However, its not perfect fit. I like the print, its so messy, a lot of is happening on the material and that makes the bra different. Also like te blue lace around cups. The band is sligthly too tigh, but one or two extra eyes solve the problem. The bra would be perfect if it would have 21.5cm depth rather than 22cm, but with the pads its good on the larger side and on the smaller need one pad extra. Also, I can see that S style would be good on me, but they dont produce it in 70DD https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Im waiting for the new collection - and if someting will come up that i will really like - im going to trade it.

Gorgeous print!!! 😍 And with the contrasting color of the blue lace and straps, it looks AWESOME!! If they matched up and coordinated the print on the cups, it would be even prettier, I think. 😋

I would love it in my proper size. I wouldn't take off it for a month 😂
