This is my third M bra, but my first in size 70F. I have the M XOXO in 65FF and Magique in 65F. While the M cut has a reputation for having unreasonably firm bands, I have to admit that I prefer the fit of the 65FF. The band on this bra is comfortable on the second last hook. I hope that the power mesh is firm enough to minimize stretching. I am happy that the M Carmen and Perlowy I ordered from MagdaBras4you are 65FFs.
The fit of this bra is very similar to the 65FF XOXO. It has a good amount of immediate ...projection, narrow wires (not as narrow as the CHP, but about the same as a BM in the same size) and a good amount of depth, particularly at the apex. The straps are comfortable and I do not find them to be as wide as the CHP or BM in the same size range. While the cups are very low, I don't find the amount of cleavage to be obnoxious. It feels less in your face than the CHP. The bra is supremely comfortable, I can wear it all day and forget that it's on. This is hands-down my best fit in EM styles, and I highly recommend it to others in my size range.
Finally, let's talk appearance. The style of this bra is simply breathtaking. I love the combination of the dark forest green, navy, and hot pink. It feels very mermaidy without being over the top. The navy eyelash lace on the cups is simply perfection. This bra is both sophisticated and girly. I could live without the giant hot pink bow on the gore, but admit that the tiny bows on the straps are growing on me. I love the uniqueness of this bra - it might be the prettiest one I own. I'm still a rookie, so take my observations with a grain of salt. 😊
My personal negatives : - The gore keeps moving on top of my breast tissue, I can't even get it to stay in my IMF for a minute. The rest of the underwire stays in place and the band is okay as well. I don't know if that's a cup seperation issue or a gore placement/height problem. I'm pretty sure I have inner fullness and close-set breasts, so that makes this tricky. - Also the straps are placed a little too far apart. I have to keep a very good posture or my shoulder push against the ...straps which distorts the cups and causes gaping.
Overall it's still one of my better fitting bras since I have the gore thing in all my other bras too, but this band is a little tighter and more comfortable throughout the day. It's also very pretty. I have to wear it on the third/second to last hook though, so I might sister size down next time, but I'm held back a little because the straps might be even further apart and of course the wires would be wider as well (right?). I was actually advised by Ewa's employee to size up because this model runs tight, but I think I could have gotten my usual band size of 28/60, since I'm technically a 26/55.
I hope this review is useful and I did it right. 😊 Read more 134 more words
I received this bra from Sonya as a swap for my S Syrena a little while ago, and I finally got a chance to wear it for a full day recently. The biggest surprise to me was the band. I was a little unsure if this band would be too big for me, as I prefer something that only stretches to around 26-26.5". Having said that, I can wear this bra on the second set of hooks and it is perfectly secure and comfortable. I think this is utterly ridiculous, considering it's a "30 band", but it works in my favour. So for y'all who ...are reading up on and considering the M cut, just know that you should sister size up at least one, if not two band sizes. Other than that, it fits the same as my M Chaberek; narrow-medium wire width, and lots of immediate and apex projection. It gives me quite a projected silhouette, which I'm not as much a fan of these days (I prefer a more minimized and close-to-the-chest silhouette), but it works well for when I want that look. The only slight quibble I have with it is that the ribbon that is sewn over the horizontal cup seam seems to give the cup itself a little bit of "quad-boob", but it's not severe enough for me to be bothered.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this trade, as I love the look of Syrena, but I just didn't wear my S anymore because it's so big for my frame. The M works much better for me, and is more in proportion with my figure. Read more 165 more words
This bra is beautiful, comfortable, and fits well. I'm not sure if I like the pink bows, but the blue/green fabric is gorgeous. The band runs small, of which I was aware and actually wanted. The straps are easily adjusted. As with most EM bras, the straps are very wide-set, which results in them ending up in the front of my armpits. The cups are slightly wider than I need as well. I think a 60FF would be an even better fit for me. I so love the cookie pockets that come standard with EM bras. It improves the fit immensely for me as I have close to a cup size difference between breasts.
This bra was such a disappointment for me. Based on my experience with the M cut in a 65E, I thought this would be perfect. Going up a cup completely changed the fit for me. I had gaping and quadding in the same cup, the cups were taller, and it overall made me unhappy. I wore this for about 7 hours to see if I could ignore any issues or if they would magically resolve and they did not (of course). I kept looking down my shirt to make sure I wasn't falling out on my left side. That isn't something I want to do constantly, so this bra has found a new home and I'm keeping the S.
For a bra that is supposed to be rather shallow, there is awesome immediate projection. This is a good compromise between the S (which I find too tall) and the 3D (which I find too shallow). The shape is nice and round with low profile cups and an ultra low gore. The cups are too small for me and I'll be reordering in a 65F.
Well, the bra looks nice, all details are really well made and so on. I took 70DD as this is my usual size in EM when getting 3d and CH/CHP. I found this one running tight in the band and in the cups, I would say is more as 65DD than 70DD - even if the measurement are more on the 70dd side, the bra is just smaller. If I will ever try it again, will go for 70E.
The M cut is one of the only plunges that fits my short roots and immediate projection decently. Usually plunges are way too tall for me and gape at the top. It also gives nice cleavage, which usually doesn't happen with how far apart my breasts are spaced.
As others have said, this is a beautiful color combination. Some have called it a mermaid bra, even my husband who doesn't read any bra websites. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
When this bra appeared in the sale section on bratabase I could not resist. I usually wear padded Ewas in 65D with one or two hooks of extender but I heard this model to be very tight, so I gave the sister size a try. It works out fine, the band is stable on the loosest hook and feels rather tight than loose. I definitely recommend to go for the bigger band in this model. Cupwise as always for Ewa bras, the bra fits my high set FOB breasts very well. It seems to be slightly smaller than M Magique and does not show up that easy when wearing low ...cut tops. As Magique this is the Ewa bra that gives my breasts the smallest amount of push but the most depth seen from the side. I prefer wearing this style with pullovers or to work rather than summer tops. In terms of comfort I really like the M cut. There is no tendency to cut in my breast muscle which is a high risk on Ewas other models when I go to 70 bands. The design is absolutely beautiful. I eyed on this bra since it was released but I could never bring myself to buying it (style and I am rather sad that Ewas green bra looks rather blue) but I am really happy that I could get it here for a reasonable price. This is another Ewa Michalak bra that has an annoyingly tight band. It is under 28" stretched, without distorting the cups. I wish this company's 65 bands would be consistently tight, consistently true to size, like my preferred 30" stretched, or consistently anything. I could wear an extender, but I shouldn't have to. I have enough bras I can wear without an extender that I don't reach for overly tight bras like the M Syrena.
Other problems with this bra stem from the cut itself. The M cut was marketed as bringing the breasts even more front and center than her 3D or PL bras. I suppose this is ...true for me. However, the fit is otherwise subpar. I altered the straps to be closer together in front. They still don't feel as comfortable as those of my dozen or so 3Ds or my two PLs. If I look at the back view, the straps veer outward, toward the sides of my body, rather than going straight down or drawing closer together where the hooks and eyes are. If I wore an extender with the M Syrena, this would make the straps widen even more in back.
Another feature I dislike in the M cut is the low wings. I want higher wings in Ewa Michalak bras, not lower. I would be happy if all my 3Ds had an inch or two extra height in the wings. I think my PLs are a little better for me in this regard.
I do admire the M Syrena's looks. The blue and green coloring evokes mermaids and peacocks. The gore is just about short enough for me. The cups are, as promised, low-coverage. I welcome these features. They do not, however, outweigh the discomfort and suboptimal appearance caused by the M cut's differences from 3D and PL. I would've returned this bra, but it costs $20 US to ship a bra back to Poland.
