Please check the actual measurements page because the measurements shown and my personal measurements are different due to them being averaged (as of one now I'm the only measurement). So far so good with this bra. IT'S SUPER COMFY. I mean they could do more to make it more comfortable but this bra feels so nice and soft on my boobs, so I actually like wearing it. The padding gives support and a nice shape under the shirt. I find the cup fit a little odd as it takes some rearranging to fit into the determined shape, but once there they seem to stay pretty good.

I do ... get the orange in a glass effect where some of the bra on the bottom goes to waste because it's impossibly shallow, and of course the cup is too tall and there's a bit of extra material on the sides too. This bra could lose some weight https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

If I should encounter any other issues with this bra past the hour I've worn it, I will update. I am curious as to if a bigger size would be an even better fit but then I might really have too much bra. I'm also curious how a size down would fit, just for curiosity's sake. They just need to have a bit more inner room near the gore for a better fit (i.e. the gore would tack if they did, right now its a few cm away but not too bad). Also there's a lot of bra on the sides but it doesn't really bother me. Possible new favorite bra right here https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Also, I saw that they were planning to remake the Daily Boost range and I'm betting it will be based off this bra.

Disappointed that this bra is more of a light indigo denim color than the bright one in the stock pictures.

I'd like to see this bra be more projected. It's not bad but it's still better suited for someone a little more shallow than me I think. I notice that if I lay back the gore tacks easily and my boobs fill the empty space on the sides. As long as CK continues to improve I think they've got an ok start here.

Before I tried this bra I have been avoiding Curvy Kate bras for a long time. I have tried some years ago and all failed on me, gave me a horrible shape and were in general just not supportive enough. They have been changing their bras over the years and after reading some positive reviews I decided to give them another chance. I'm glad I did. It's not the bra-Wonderland for my boobs but the bra is not bad either.
First of all, the shape is much better. I get a round shape from the side. Also the wires are narrower and the top of the cup is roomier ... compared to old models. I think this bra is also not bad for full on top boobs.

The band of the 36K is a bit too big for me as I measure 34 inch underbust, but it's wearable at the tightest setting. The cups are a bit on the smaller side, the gore tacks but I get the slightest hint of quadboob.
The wires are a perfect width for my average wide boobs and the cups are not too tall. I do think that the straps could be a bit wider, they are a bit uncomfortable as they are.
The material feels soft and I like the print.

But the most interesting thing for me was: the gore is quite low for a bra this size! (for comparison, the gore on 36K Panache Tango is 12.5cm and the gore of the Wonderland is 10cm)
It's the lowest gore I ever had on a 36K bra that is not a plunge. (Not that I own any plunge bras since they don't work for me)... Anyway despite this bra being not my best fit I decided to keep it for the reason that It can serve as some sort of "plunge-bra-substitute".
I don't wear very low cut tops in general but sometimes the gores in the K-cup size range are just too tall to not show. With the Wonderland I can get away with a few lower cut tops and I don't show my bra. Yay for that.

I've thought about trying some newer CK. I still wear my Lola on PMS days - its a JJ. Its a bit too wide-set for me and I dont like the shape it gives me. Idk.

    • I think your shape would look better in a more pointy bra.
This bra seems to flatten your boobs across your chest.

Great tankini, fits just like the Arizona. There are issues with it though:

    1. Straight down body means riding up for anyone with hips

    2. Not enough inner depth means you'll have to size up more than what you normally might, like the Arizona.

    3. Cups are sewn in, so you can't control the coverage like you could in a tankini where you can pull the tankini over the bra.

In this particular size, I thought there was too much cup on the sides and top, like I did with the Arizona but worse maybe. It felt half cup too big really, my soft boobs don't feel as secure. But it gives me more coverage =/ It's really the coverage that bugs me here. Since I'm dieting and nursing, I'm not even remotely sure which I should keep or if I should return both and buy one closer to summer (but I'm afraid it'll be sold out).

    • I agree, I think it's slightly too big but coverage is better than on the 34K...
Hm... told you that 36K and 38K are already gone on brastop, looks like it sells fast. On the other side, why keep something you are not completely happy with?
Also I think it looks great, very good shape and looks very supportive.

    • Thanks. And you make good points...I am thinking about risking 34K. If I decide to do that, would you like to buy the 36K before I send it back?

This is the kind of bra that somehow can work for deep/projected gals. But it requires lots of rearranging otherwise it won't work, you'll spill. You need to settle your tissue in the right place. I looked at the new 32JJ CK model and saw how it looked on her and readjusted until I got there. Then, the real challenge came. Seeing if it would stay. This is where the inner depth and narrowish/lowish gore comes in handy. If your gore can tack, your bra will keep the boobs mostly in place. So far, so good. I do have the the feeling that if I bend over or ... something I'll lose my perfect prettiness, but it hasn't happened yet. I will give it a long try because I really love the color and design of this bra.

I do get a bit of annoying pokiness from the underwire, that I will be adding something too for cushion's sake if I keep it. So far I seem to get this in all of their new bras. It's like the underwire channel is too thin or something and it's a bit too long also. I couldn't stand it without altering it though.

I like that this bra is rounded because most of the other range is projected and I like to mix it up. It's really pretty and the top part is legit sheer, so your areolas are gonna be on display (took careful adjusting for mine not to be so much). The bad part is that no matter how it is, the embroidery that makes it so pretty is going to show up through thin shirts. I love the name the design and the color so I may be a little biased https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

This is one of their more narrower ones though, and I think it's one of their best so far. I will update if anything should start spilling out or going wrong.

This bra was a surprise! I wasn't particularly looking for a sheer bra but it is a novelty in this size and my last sheer bra was too small (75K - Ewa Michalak » Sm Czarna Mgiełka (481) ) I bought this just because I was trying every style in the new season.

I'm surprised because other than the underwires being a tad too tall and poking me/digging in, it's pretty good fit. Since the gore pretty much tacks, when you separate your boobs they seem to stay separated. When I bend, only my larger boob threatens me but then they seem to go back to ... their place. It's a projected look and not a difficult fit. The cups could be higher near the gore as I'm always complaining of but besides making feel insecure it doesn't seem like it's an issue. Minus the underwires comfort is good.

If I decide to keep the bra, I would absolutely need to do something about those poky underwires, so I would add felt and/or cut them down a tad since they are almost OK. The wires in a 34K are fine on me, it's just the 36 and up. If I encounter any spillage issues after long wear, I will definitely come back and complain here. Otherwise, take a chance and get yourself a lovely sheer bra. Sorry no side pics because - well, it's SHEER.

I got a 34K and a 36K (both Curvy Kate, different bras but similar style) to try because Bratabase said that was my recommended size.

Sagging at top of cup. Can’t fill bottom fully. I am sagging in this bra. Don’t like the shape. Too pointy.
Cups cutting into my armpits!!! Ouch!

Band is nicely snuck, tho im here and there if i should size down band on CK. Might end up using this on tighter hooks quite soon. This bra is very pretty, but sadly it gapes little bit on top since i have quite short roots paired with bottom heavy girls which causes this to fit more like full cup on me. I will probably alter that top to stop it from gaping. Its very comftable to wear. My only problem is that straps are little wide for me, but in general its the second most comftable bra i have. Feels much better to wear good fitting bra after long time wearing too small cup.

Cup is actually narrowish and UU shaped, and the depth seems like it's in the right place. This is one of CK's newer models so it could be that they've improved some things which was my hope. However since the cup is narrower than I expected, I may have ordered a cup size too large. I'll give it a try in a 34K and update accordingly. It's a beautiful bra and I love how it's really different in aesthetics than any other bra I've tried so far. I definitely do think it's a huge improvement over CK's old models.

Addendum - After trying the 34K which was much lower ... cut and too small, I have to say I can't personally recommend this bra. I think that anyone without extremely soft tissue who likes cuts like the Floris could give it a try, but there's also this weird part where the top part of the bra kind of bulges out - it's sewn that way. You can see it in the pic I put up where it's looking up under the bra. I think it's a different material than the more supportive bottom is why.

This bra has a good shape but it was too unsupportive and loose for me in 36K and it has a short top if that makes any sense, so it threatens to spill. Oddly enough, if I put on both bras I get a shape that looks exactly like EM's SM bras, while it was closer to the Jasmine with just the 36K. I think the underwire poked me a tad bit as well. I'll have to personally give up on this bra but if you like it, I think it's worth a try. But to be honest, even the model has some wrinkling and the bulge if you look closely so it may just not be a well designed bra.

    • ack, looks like my Marcie in-cup quad

    • The 34K was so much worse. I think this bra is just a bit of a messed up design. It DOES have a really big top section like the Marcie but it's completely the other way in terms of shape. It's just weird =/ It's the only new CK bra I totally can't recommend.

    • Oh I wanna add that I wasn't quad boobing in the 36K so much as spilling out in the middle, so it was actually kind of wrinkly and spilling...Just a bad shape.

This bra fits really weird. I felt like there wasn't enough cup height toward the center and I was gonna spill out. This cup and band was also too big for me so I was saggy and my breasts were pretty separate so it was just all around a bad shape. It also poked me slightly. Not gonna bother trying a cup size down as I was mostly testing this bra to see how older CK styles fit. It was really cute and I absolutely love the beautiful straps.

Oh the princess, such a pretty bra. I tried it years ago in probably wrong sizes. I couldn't never get it to work.
Did you try the Gia? That one I didn't find too bad, I actually wore one for a while when I had nothing else.

    • No I haven't tried the Gia, but I have heard good things about it too. On the whole I decided to try one of their old, staple styles again and then buy all of the new ones (temporarily, for bra science) on Brastop and Amazon. I am thinking that the new styles will contain some new improvements and so far that seems true, but I've only tried the two. I am really liking the 36K - Curvy Kate » Jewel Balcony Bra (CK3401) though, I hope I can make it work cuz then I can recommend it.

    • CK have definitely been adding progessive improvements to their largest cup sizes (I tried some of their really early stuff in 28JJ and 28K and while I somehow got an okay shape, the scaling was.... not good).

I've since tried a few models on as it's probably some of the nicer stuff that my bra shop of choice carries in J-K cups (and by that I mean not the Panache Tango II; world's second most unsuitably scaled bra which Panache must push really hard because for some inexplicable reason, lingerie stores seem to frequently carry it in 28-32 J-K despite how unlikely it is to fit well), and each time it's got a little better in terms of wire width and overall shape. Too small cups definitely give that unappealing 'upside-down 7' though.

I'm definitely keen to see the results of your experiments, though I may run up against the whole thing of 'I really can't alter a bra to be 6-8 inches smaller in the band because it breaks the proportions'.

    • I've tried them before but it was 2 or 3 seasons old bras so it was some of their earlier stuff and I got that terrible upside down 7 shape.

I've got about 4 more CK bras from the current season coming in the mail from overseas, so I will make sure to share my results with you ladies.

At least they have 28 through 40 bands which is something I respect, though doesn't specifically help you or I but I thought it was a nice sentiment? I'm hoping to see them start breaking the K cup barrier. I'm honestly wondering why they haven't yet. I wonder what they would say if I asked them.

    • 1

There's not a lot of brands who carry 28K or 40K, and the fact that they have maintained this size in several of their bra cuts is quite positive. Perhaps with the winner of Star in a Bra being in such a large cup size this year, they'll get a chance to do some testing and design on their biggest cups. She looked quite nice in the model pics, but even though CK don't heavily retouch their photos, there did look like there was some shuffling to display the bra to best advantage (as you would do for promotional images; it's not a fit check or a review :P).

It's certainly not going to hurt to tell CK that you'd be interested in an expanded size range! I totally appreciate though that I'm not in a profitable size to mass produce; but expanding their 32-38 bands up to an L cup for instance would definitely generate some increased custom. Alana always seems to sell out fastest in the K-L cups, showing that there's clearly some demand for these sizes. I mean, I'm biased and want as large a cup volume available in a 28 or 30 band in a supportive style with flattering shaping as possible, but I really think at present these sizes can only exist in a business model when bras are made to order for the consumer.

    • Yeah I thought the model looked great, even if she was extra firm or it was camera angle tricks, it was enough to pique my interest. I ordered one of the bras she was wearing.

I am going to contact them I think, they may have something interesting to say. Everytime I email a bra company they have told me something positive, so maybe we'll get lucky again.

It confuses me that our cup sizes are constantly sold out in various bands but that no one wants to pay attention to us at all. For CK, they could do a limited run. They already figured out the cup size part and their grading seems a LOT better than every other UK brand I've tried (besides possibly Bravissimo but they're very clueless in general) so I don't see why they can't just break that barrier and offer L cups.

I so appreciate that progress is being made though and I can't help but hope and wish that they wanted the 32JJ to help test as well.

    • I think your confusing the cupsize progression. It's G, GG, H, HH, J, JJ, K, KK. That would make a K 6 cupsizes too large. However, a few of Curvy Kate's styles run a bit small, but that is mostly the Showgirl Line, and you should only need to size up a lot if you're full on top. If you have bra questions shoot me a message :) debrivera1

    • Yes,this is true.Don't worry,I was confused when I first started out as well, and so were a few of my friends.
      So for the Gia,if it's 1 or 2 sizes too small,you'd try a 36GG or 36H. :)
A few brands don't do double letters, but most UK and Polish ones do.
