*Ok there's some 'golden oldies' in my bra collection - bras I was truly obsessed with, have owned/tried in multiple sizes and even if I don't wear them often, they are doomed to be mine.. Forever! XD*
One of them is Rosie - I love her print SO much! I know florals are not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm pretty much addicted to all things flowery The rose print is slightly 'abstract' and the colors are really bright and vibrant.
This is a bra I've owned in various sizes - 32F and then 32FF (when my boobs were smaller and I hadn't realized how much better ...30 bands feel to wear). Ended up with this 30GG, which I feel runs true to size.
As much as I love the look of this bra, the fit is not ideal. Creates a bit of an east/west look? This bra gives my boobs a more natural appearance, rather than very uplifted - certainly has its purposes / occasions but I find myself not wearing it very often.
Also - one of my main bra annoyances - the straps chafe my armpits. Honestly I can hardly find bras that DON'T do that, even if my shoulders are not small at all for my size Maybe my armpit tolerance is just too low..? I really feel for actual small shouldered ladies, they must truly suffer!
Anyway; even if she's not my perfect bra, Rosie will always have a place in my closet and my heart Read more 151 more words
Ugh. I really want to love curvy Kate. I just think that my breasts are not made for these bras. I know that certain bras can fit better with certain shapes etc.
When this bra came out i was so effing excited. Finally something cute in my size! The fitter admitted that I was her 20th person to be fit (the manager was there to help) and they brought this one out for me. It looked nice under clothing and I felt sexy. I wore it a few times after, but figured it should be used for special occasions.
I recently got a puppy who has chewed through ...some of my bras. I had to take this one out to become an everyday wear one. But I have some reservations.
I love the pattern. I think the bra itself is beautiful but I need some help. The bra fits beautifully but after ten hours of wear, the gore rises up and digs a bit. Is there such thing as wearing a bra too long? Is this a sizing issue? Should I be adjusting the straps more often?
Does anyone share the same experience with this bra? Or have advice in general? Anything will help.
Don't know if I'm a 28 band, or if this runs loose...I'm going to say both. The outer cup fabric is very firm, and where it meets the mesh/lace, it does create a bit of a ridge. Being more full on top may help fill out the top better and prevent ridge. Very pretty pattern and definitely supportive on outside cup. Gore is a good height.
This bra is quite cute. My nipples are visible in the sheer parts though, just a heads up... I kinda feel like it runs big in both the cup and band. My 32f feels more like a 34f to me. It's too big in the band for me but since I bought it from a private seller on Swedish eBay I can't exchange it, so I'm gonna shorten the band, cause it fits well in the cups (and I usually wear a 32ff) I think it's a big high in the armpit though.
I think I should maybe give up on Curvy Kate with my shape. Would love to find one that fits because they are so pretty. And though its not evident from these pictures this one also gives me a "sad" shape. I had read it was from the cups being too small but even when the cups are wrinkling I have the same shape
I tried this bra and I was so excited because it looked so nice. Unlike normal bras with cup seams, this one didn't give me that cone shape I hate. Sadly, there were a few problems. the fabric mesh on top was loose and wrinkly. Also, the band was loose where it kept riding up and I wasn't able to keep the cups in the right spot. I'm going to assume Curvy Kate bands stretch alot, so to go a band size down from now on. It felt very comfortable and looked great not on me, sadly just not my fit.
