I've been needing a strapless bra and wanting a long line bra, so when Brastop dropped the price on this to $33, I jumped on it. I ordered it in a 32J UK, as the other Curvy Kate bras I own ( 32J - Curvy Kate » Kiss Cross Plunge Bra (CK006101) and 32J - Curvy Kate » Lifestyle Plunge Bra (CK5711) ) are that size. Getting this bra on was an adventure in and of itself. I had to hook turn the bra backwards and hook the first 5 hooks, then flip the bottom of the band ... up and hook the rest of them. Then I had to slowly spin it around to the back. My ribs got stuck in the cups twice during that process. Then I went through several go-rounds of swooping, scooping, and tugging the bra higher in the back. Initially, I was spilling out of the top, but the bottoms of the cups were empty. After a lot of adjustment, I managed to mostly fill out the bottoms of the cups and get rid of all the overflow. The gore still wouldn't tack, and the bra keeps shifting down some. The cups gape some when I reach forward, and the bottom of the back keeps riding way up as well. Even with all these issues, this bra is surprisingly comfortable. The boning is soft and completely flexible. I would probably return this if I had paid full price for it, but for $33, it's not worth the hassle of an international return.

This bra is AMAZING! I wear Ewa Michalak exclusively, so you can imagine my requirements to be happy: narrow wires, projection, rounded shape, lots of uplift, and boobs up front, not east/west. This bra ticks all of my boxes, and YES, it's Curvy Kate! I purchased this bra used from someone else, and I immediately ordered 2 more from Belle Lingerie right after I tried it. It's that good. I think the Daily Dream will now be my everyday/work bra. I wear scrubs to work, and I notice with this bra my boobs fit in my scrubs a tiny bit better than with my Ewa Michalak S bras. This shade of beige is also the *perfect* nude for me. Most beiges are too yellow against my skin, and this one is more cool-toned. For reference, I currently wear 70J/JJ in Ewa Michalak.

It sounds like DD can be my dream bra too! Thank you for the review!! Btw, do you think the fit is similar to EM S style or PL? I saw the measurement and it looks like more Pl because of the relatively short gore. Am I thinking right?

    • Hmm, it's a little bit different than either of them. The gore is a little short, but I don't get cleavage in this bra like I do the PL. I can't explain why; it's just constructed a little different! I don't like feeling of my boobs touching together while working, which is why the S bra was my go-to. I usually save PLs for going out/date night. My boobs feel separated in the Daily Dream, not squished together for cleavage.

Daily Dream is very comfy with a nice shape, though. I can't wait to get my other 2 in.

This is the 32J - Curvy Kate » Wonderfull Full Coverage Bra (CK018102). I am a 34h but chose the smaller sister size because I am losing weight and because I prefer my bands quite tight. It makes my boobs look amazing both with clothes and in the bra. I am very pleased with this bra and with the support. I don’t slouch in this bra and don’t feel the downward pull of my breasts. It is also a beautiful bra; photos don’t do it justice. When I reach my goal weight though I will probably buy better quality bras, but this is a great interim option and is often on sale, which is a win!

The Lifestyle is sheerer than I expected in person. The gore tacks, but this is a fairly low plunge. It looks okay right after I put it on, but my breasts tend to fall toward the center of the bra over the course of a work day, leading to quadboob. The mesh used for the cups is also on the flimsy side, resulting in noticeable jiggling while walking. I actually found the Curvy Kate Unwind bralette to be more "work appropriate" than this.

  5. Kiss Cross Plunge Bra (CK006101)

The Kiss Cross was one of the first Curvy Kate bras I tried, since it was discounted on Bra Stop at the time. The black mesh over pink fabric is very pretty, and I found this plunge bra to be more supportive than the Curvy Kate Lifestyle bra, which is all mesh. The gore tacks, and my breasts don't migrate out to the center of the bra. This bra is the least durable bra I own though. Honesty compels me to admit that I do put my bras in the washer and dryer, albeit in zippered mesh bags. One of the wires broke out of the end of the channel at the gore. I managed to stitch the end closed, and it's held up okay since then.

My first try of a strapless bra that actually comes close my size. I was very curious about this. I don't really need a strapless bra but I was curious what it can do. (I gave up on wearing anything strapless ever in my life and I'm not unhappy about it. I like my short sleeves.) The bra is made of padded cups with vertical seams. There are no horizontal seams, it is sewn like I imagine a half cup would be sewn. Compared to a typical half-cup bra that would be quite low cut this bra is very tall. I think that is needed for support. The ... support comes from wires and compression of the cups. I think it actually does quite well with support. (Look at my side pic without the straps, it holds up my boobs just fine on it's own!) I find the band to be true to size and it feels firm and not very stretchy, which is very needed in a bra like this. I actually recommend this bra if you are looking for a decent strapless bra. It is not bad at all.

Why did it not work for me? Obviously the cups are too small. I get lots of cleavage aka overspill aka quadboob. I mean it looks not too bad if I want to wear the bra for cleavage but it felt uncomfortable. I also felt constricted because cups pushed my boobs flat to my chest. I think it is needed that the bra is tall and shallow for compression and support but it did not feel comfortable. It reminded me how I felt in the 32J - Panache Sport » Sports Bra (5021) another padded bra that was too small for me.

    • I found Curvy Kate padded bras to be uncomfortable in general, so I can imagine how this one would feel. Bummer it didn't workout. The straps could be worn in multiple ways which can be handy even if you don't need strapless. :-/

    • To be honest it looks better than my Freya deco strapless. At least it seems to be holding its shape haha, my freya deco just broke under my boobs!
      I think I'll give this a try!

    • MamaPagan I haven't found any padded bra that I like to wear. I always feel like tI can't breathe in them, that they push my boobs to my chest in an uncomfortable way.

    • brasaremean Yes that's why I said, that it is not that bad. I was impressed how it held up without the straps. I just think that the bra would be good only for special occasion when you just need to wear a strapless bra for once. I wouldn't want to wear it every day.

    • alisa The only padded ones I like and feel comfortable in is Ewa's S style, but that's at about a 50% fit and fail ratio for me. Half the time they fit, the other half they are a horrible fit in the same size.... :-/ Can't tell how they differ but it has to be something different, it's weird!

    • I can go braless if I need to and I STILL gave up on anything strapless. Long ago. Even before my enhancement and wore 30C they always slipped down. It is so NOT sexy to be yanking your bra and dress up all night!! . I find v-shaped halter necks to be sooooo sexy, slimming and flattering why would you ever want a squared off strapless look?! You can put the strap behind your neck and way to go. Cold shoulder dresses are also awesome. I wear my regular balconies with those.

This bra is obviously too small. I ordered this in a 32J because there are no bigger sizes available. I wanted to try it, because I love the color. Reviews stated that the cups run big. My usual size in CK would be 32JJ. On the other side all of their bras (besides the Victory) are so wrong for my shape that it is difficult to guess if I got the correct size. I have very center heavy and tall boobs. This bra does not much to contain my boobs inside the cups. The band seems to be tts / even a bit small for a 32 band.

I would recommend this bra for short roots and not very center heavy boobs. Also I found the materials a bit wear, I'm not sure it would hold up for daily wear (at my size). I also disliked the ring detail where the cup meets the straps at the front. While it looks cute, I think it could dig in and be uncomfortable.

    • I got it in a 30FF and was so sad it wasn’t a good fit. The wires on the side were both too wide and too short. Normally, I am all over short wings, but it’s quite uncommon for a plunge to have lower wings on the side. They did nothing to actually be plungey iykwim. I’m naturally splayed, and the bra kept my shape as such, instead of pushing my boobs together as a plunge should. Disappointed to say the least.

This bikini top is sooo comfortable but a little roomy up the top. I'm probably slightly bottom heavy for this cut. The band felt true to size and comfortable however looking at photos it did ride up at the back. The back clasp also twists around itself . The bikini is padded which gives you great shape and I honestly sometimes wear this as a bra, it looks that good!
I didn't like the colour at first but it's grown on me. I think it looks good with my red hair.

    • Did you ever had the back clasp come open on you? This style of back clasp popped open on me while i was in a hot tub and I've been scared to wear a suit like it since!

Looks great on you, the colour is indeed very flattering with your hair!

Perhaps not a perfect fit, but I can totally agree on lowering standards for bikinis 😊

    • wild_muses Not with this bra! The clasp is very strong, but it has happened to me before with another bikini - mortifying!

I would consider this a pretty good fit on me.

My usual size is 30K, but I think a 32J is probably actually the best size for me in this at the moment. My underbust is my narrowest point, as I have a rounded tummy and a V-shape ribcage, so about an inch above and below my underbust will measure closer to 32 inches. The band does ride up very slightly at the centre of the back, but it doesn't actually move, and any tighter would be too much for my tummy and result in the band flipping up all the time, so I'm happy with the 32. The ... gore doesn't sit flat at the top (not sure if this is due to an issue with construction, or just gore height on my close-set boobs), but I don't get overspill or gapping, and I get fairly decent cleavage. The straps are fairly thin, though I don't seem to get any issues due to strap placement. The sides are a little high, but again, not too bad. Saying that, I don't find this bra particularly supportive. It feels wonderfully supportive if I push the gore flat, but with the gore lifting slightly, I do get a lot of bounce moving around. Definitely more of a looker rather than an everyday bra.

It being a longline skews the measurements slightly, so: measurement from top of the gore to level with the bottom of the underwires: 13cm; measurement from top of wing to level with the bottom of the underwires: 13.8cm. So overall I would say the cups are average width, shallow depth, but open on top with a fair amount of vertical volume (i.e. a good cut for cakes-on-a-plate cleavage). Disappointed that the band only extends about 3.5cm under the wires in this size - I'm guessing this is the usual issue of them using about the same length band for all sizes, resulting in larger cups taking up most of the longline space. Still, it's longer than most bras and still looks cute. The colour is a lovely bright pink, and I love the pink mesh overlaid onto a light base for the cups. The floral embroidery is definitely a nice change from the usual way floral is done, too.

All in all I love the look of this bra (I wasn't expecting to find a decent fit in a longline er...ever?), and it's definitely a fun piece that I'll likely incorporate as outerwear this summer, but if you're looking for a supportive, everyday bra, this might not be the one for you.

I own two Ritzy bras in 32HH and one in 32J and they all fit really well. I ordered the babydoll in 32J because I thought it would fit similar to the normal bras but it's way smaller in the band than the bra. I am not even close to being able to close this bra, to me it looks like its two sizes smaller than the normal bra. Very odd. The cups seems the same but I can't really tell.

This is the most supportive and comfiest bikini top I tried so far. Well done, Curvy Kate! I recommend it to all full-busted ladies who are looking for a supportive bikini top!
I got the advice to size up in the band and size down in the cups. I can confirm that the bra runs somewhat big in the cups. (I need a 32K in CK bras) The band is quite firm. I'm impressed by how comfy this Bikini top is and how supportive. Having tried some Panache bikinis I thought that it is not possible to feel supported in a bikini. The center gore is quite low, ... which looks good in a bikini (you don't want it to look like a full-cup ) however since my boobs are soft and center heavy, the gore does not lie completely flat and I get some slight overspill when I move around.
I'm not so picky when it comes to bikinis as I would be with a bra so I just go along with these minor issues.
Another note: If you buy the matching briefs - don't size up, they run big!

This bra looks nice with the pinstripe pattern on the wings & the stripes in the cup - a great improvement in design compared to other strapless bras. I like the cup shape too which curves instead of cutting across the breast. The band is very small for a 32; I usually size down a band in strapless bras to a 30 but can't do it up. With this bra I will need to try a 34 band. I can't assess the cup fit yet until I find an extender.

This bra is super pretty. The first proper see through bra I have ever owned. I don't love the fit as it separates my breast a lot but it's still a very nice looking bra. It also makes my breasts look fairly round under clothes I've only worn it once so far on a very long day and after not very long the gore started to dig in very badly. I have never had it that bad before, I was bruised when I took it off. As pretty as the bra is, I am not sure if I will be able to wear it again.

First off, this bra is very pretty. It is light pink (I believe "blush" is the given name) with a black lace overlay and little pink bows. Oh how I wish it worked with my shape!
Overall I'd say it runs about true to size. The cup volume may have been a little big for me, but given all of the shape mismatches I had its hard to tell. I did not look into this bra before buying it, and basically every aspect of it is the opposite of what I would need. The wires are about average width for a bra this size, which does not mesh with my extremely narrow roots. The cups are also pretty shallow, which doesn't work with my projected shape. The cups are also way too tall for me. This is one of those cases where I got lured in by the appearance and didn't do my research.
This bra would work well for someone with tall roots with an average width, and minimal projection.

Ugh. I really want to love curvy Kate. I just think that my breasts are not made for these bras. I know that certain bras can fit better with certain shapes etc.

When this bra came out i was so effing excited. Finally something cute in my size! The fitter admitted that I was her 20th person to be fit (the manager was there to help) and they brought this one out for me. It looked nice under clothing and I felt sexy. I wore it a few times after, but figured it should be used for special occasions.

I recently got a puppy who has chewed through ... some of my bras. I had to take this one out to become an everyday wear one. But I have some reservations.

I love the pattern. I think the bra itself is beautiful but I need some help. The bra fits beautifully but after ten hours of wear, the gore rises up and digs a bit. Is there such thing as wearing a bra too long?
    Is this a sizing issue?
Should I be adjusting the straps more often?

Does anyone share the same experience with this bra? Or have advice in general? Anything will help.

This a super cute bra that gives great shape (even though I quad boob when the center gore is laying flat). I'm in between sizes and my measurements don't seem to quite add up to a "correct" size so trying this in a 32J was just to see if weight loss worked. I tried on a HH cup (not sure of the band) once and I spilled out of the front with the center gore not touching me at all but it almost seemed that I could have worn that ill-fitting size better than this ill-fitting size.
