I attached a blog review below, but I'll summarize here. I usually wear a 32 band, but this one is a bit loose; I wear it fastened on the 2nd hook. I would absolutely suggest going down a band size in the whole Showgirl Collection. Also, even though this is a shallow cup, it is a bit too deep for me near the gore which is causing some gaping in that part of the cup. Someone with firmer breasts or who is fuller on top probably wouldn't have this problem?
The bra itself is incredibly comfortable, though I find that the wings do come up high enough to rub uncomfortably after a long day of wear. Even with the slightly off fit, this bra looks good under a shirt.
Love it!! I'm not really sure of my breast type, but I always have trouble filling the top of the cups in my bra (though looking at me it doesn't seem like I'm particularly full on the bottom). This bra fits nearly perfectly and is so comfortable - the gore lies flat, I fill out the cups, and nothing rubs, sticks, or pokes me.
For the curious, I tried this on under an American Eagle white t-shirt; you can see texture from the polka-dots sometimes, but other than that it's invisible.
Update 10/13/13: This bra no longer fits as it is too small in the cups. May be due to tissue migration.
Quite pleased with the fit of this bra, except that the straps are a bit too wide set. That's a recurring problem for me though. My boobs are quite close together and fuller on top - this bra definetely gives some cleavage. So maybe not for everyday wear.
As with most Curvy Kates, buy a larger cupsize than usual. Normally I'm more of an 32E, in CK I'm 32F, leaning towards 32FF.. I did get my normal band size (32/70) and this fits well. Haven't worn this bra much so can't comment on stretching / washing / wear and tear.
Currently this bra is on the small side and it gives some push, but not yet in the quad boob zone. As I haven't been able to excercise much (knee injury) I'm planning to get back to doing some sports - expect to lose a small amount of weight - it should fit perfectly then.

I'm seriously considering removing the dotted Swiss lace that covers most of the bra so the nice crazy color can come out to play, but I don't sew and haven't figured out yet how to remove the lace from the cups, gore, and wings without hurting the thick ...lace and ribbon trim at the top. I really like the lace and ribbon trim on the top. The scalloped edges on the lace remind me of one of my favorite motifs, the Egyptian lotus. I'm giving the bra high marks for its appearance, as the color isn't really its fault. As I suspected, the fit is good but not perfect. I have a tiny bit of quadboob in the area of the cups meeting the gore if I breathe too deeply, and the area around the straps gapes a little bit (from looking at other users' photos, this seems to be a common problem). I don't think sizing down to a 32E wouldn help, I think I'd just have more quadboob in the front. The fit of this bra is similar to my Ewa Michalak HP and CH bras, but a little less forgiving.
Update: I've worn it for a couple of hours, and my boobs are starting to feel a little squished. This may not be the best choice to wear all day for a lady with projection. But as others have said, it does feel pretty secure. The gore is a pain, too. Read more 194 more words
I love this bra. It might be the best bra I have ever had. It is the first bra where the band feels secure (doesn't ride up or move around) and where the gore actually touches my sternum, probably since I was still growing! It is comfortable and supportive. It took me a few days to get used to since it's much snugger than what I had been wearing, but it was never uncomfortable. It kind of felt like learning to wear a bra again. I will definitely buy from @Curvy Kate again, although next I'll be looking for a bra that has a smooth outside (this one has a seam) and is nude-colored all over (this one has some white trim). The trim and seams limit what shirts I can wear it with, especially in the summer, but in terms of fit I don't think I could be happier. I bought it from @House of Fraser online and I have been totally pleased!
The underwires are a good height, not all that tall and do not poke my ribcage. The band feels really good. The cups are one size too small for me, but I think if they were the right size they would fit well. The cup shape is okay - they don't give a pointy look but they aren't rounded either. Probably a "natural" shape. Two hooks on the band, feels pretty supportive.
I love the colours and adjustable straps. I don't mind the square decoration on the straps even though some people don't like it since the straps aren't fully adjustable.
Bad news is the cups are way too big. The wings are much higher than I thought they would be and they dig in.
The back clip is plastic, just like the decorative square and the clip to adjust the strap length. Much nicer than metal since there's no worry about burning yourself.
From what I've read it looks like the band runs small and the cups are big. The bottoms are also a couple sizes too big.
Amazing! Not too tight, not too loose, its just right! It makes my back fat less prominent while making my boobs look great, which is something I've been searching for in a great bra.
This bra is beautiful. The band, however, for a 32, feels pretty loose. I would have gone down one band size, but I bought it at brastop and they didn't have anything left in a 30 band. I think I will have to alter the band. I can wear it on the tightest hook comfortably now, but I'm not sure how long that will last.
The cups are very comfortable and soft. I went up one cup size, as everyone recommended that the Tease Me line in Curvy Kate ran large. The wires are wider than any of the bras I own, so I think that I probably didn't need to go up an extra cup size, as I think that they are a little bit large. There is a little bit of gaping at the top. I ordered the bra in a 32E also, and am waiting to get it and hoping that it fits!
First and foremost: this bra does not fit. It's at least a cup or two too small. So, let it not be a reflection on the product, but on what happens when said product is too small.
On its own, this bra is beautiful. I bought the it in white, and I LOVE the pink bow accents on the center and the straps, I love the embroidery along the top edge of the cup, and I love the mesh panel that makes up the top of the cup itself when paired with the opaque lower half. As with all Curvy Kate products, I find that ...the fabric is very high quality: soft, supportive where it needs to be and the perfect amount of stretch where required. I don't know how these qualities hold up over time, but I know that while it's new, this is a great bra... for someone else.
The fit is awful. Like I said, I clearly bought the wrong size, but I was not aware how strange it would be - it seems to pull my boobs down, point them to the ground, and cut in at the top to create the mother of all quad-boob. HOWEVER, the wire itself fits width-wise and doesn't press into any tissue under my arm. This creates a conundrum - stay with this size and deal with a ridiculous shape, or go up in cup size to get the appropriate amount of cup depth yet risking the underwire reaching way into my armpit? Or are Curvy Kate's unpadded bras simply not for me? I may try another size and see if that is any better, and in the meantime I'll be listing this one. I wanted to love this bra so badly! The trappings are beautiful - periwinkle blue lace, ribbons, and bows with white accents. Doesn't make for a subtle look under clothes, but that is not the reason one buys a bra with all these bells and whistles, is it? The fabrics are all very comfortable despite the frills. It seems very well structured, and I especially enjoy the powermesh that makes up the side wings and back, and the fact that the straps are fully adjustable. Since it's a balconette, it gives good uplift without very much cleavage, which is my preference. Overall, a ...beautiful and well-designed garment.
All that being said, I have some fit problems with this bra. Even though the cups seem to fit well, it seems too big in that it is a little on the wide side. Most noticeably, the entire outer edges of the cups are basically cutting into my armpits - the straps, the underwires themselves, and the fabric that curves down to the wings. If I align the straps vertically, as they are meant to sit, they actually sit on the outside of the acromion (the bump at the end of one's collarbone). And as a result of the whole conglomeration sitting very tenuously at the edge of my shoulder, I often feel like the straps are on the verge of falling off, no matter how tight I adjust them. I don't consider myself to have narrow shoulders, but this proved to be the main problem with this bra.
Since the band as a good amount of stretch to it and I'm having some gapping at the top of the cups with a 32F, I suppose I could try sizing down and seeing if that would help the problem. Of course, I bought this item on sale and this was the only one anywhere near my size. So next time, I'll try the 30F and see how that is. Read more 229 more words
This bra squeezes your breasts, so it "push up" your breasts tissue high. It might cause quadraboobs, but there are ruffles and ribbon, which hide it. Your boobs might look smaller. (see picture) But the shape is rounded. Squeeze, but rounded. The wires in the front run high, but after one or two wearings it is alright, no painful or uncomfortable feelings. The band is really stretchy. For me it's comfy, but I think that I'm the one obsessed with firm band, so to my 83/85 cm (about 33 inches) this band fits pretty well. But I recommend go band size down (and cup size up, as usual) for slender ...ladies. Cups can run smaller because of shallow cups. The cut of the bra is extremely low for me. This might be solved by go cup size up to 32FF. So if you are on the edge of cup sizes, go up. Also if you've got experience with non-padded underwired CK bras, I'd recommend you go cup size up. (I bought CK Emily and CK Thrill me in the same time and Emily fits me better in the cups, it has got firmer band.) In the future I will definitely buy 32FF padded bras by CK.
The colours I've got the purple/jade version. The purple colour is incredible, I really like it. But I hope, that jade will be more blue (I know, jade is jade, but blind hope is better than no hope), but it isn't. It's just green, you know. But it's interesting idea, so young and strong.
Another chapter for ruffles and ribbon. Is it visible under t-shirt? Yes, of course – it is. But after few wearings it's better.

I love the colorway, I love the sheer details and I also love the support it gives me. I think it's my bra with highest level of support (minus sports bras). But... You know, the shape. It's really ugly. Upside down 7 is terrible. I think my own breasts have better shape than this bra gives me. It's a shame! The band feels too tight at first, but I use an extender, after few hours I closed the bra on the loosest hook (and I'm still on the loosest). The cups are a little bit small, but I'm still struggling with non-padded bras (I love them, but I can't get one that fits)... I hope it has got better shape!
This bra is all around way to big for me. I can nearly fasten the bra without even stretching the band and the cup gapes at the top. I'm guessing I will need a 28FF for this particular bra.
Consider this one a Bratabase success story. It was thanks to looking up the measurements of the Curvy Kate bras sizes on this site that I took the risk of ordering a bra online and it fits like a dream.
The under wires don't come up very high underneath the arms. That might be an advantage or disadvantage for some people but it works fine for me.
After wearing it a few times I can say this is my favorite bra.
