A glance at the photos of me in this bra show that it's a clear failure.

For educational purposes though, I think this might be useful because it's a shape-mismatch issue more than anything else. I don't think a larger band would be supportive enough, so that couldn't be altered, and a larger cup size would be unlikely to fix the massive problems in the center and sides of the cup, and would probably make the wires longer and cups wider - which was a big problem for me.

When I went to write this review I first read the other reviews for this size and other ... low band/high cup sizes. I was all set to rant and rave about the ineffectiveness of Curvy Kate's designs for this size range, but then I saw that actually a lot of people seem to wear the princess quite comfortably. Shape incompatibilities:

- I have center fullness : CK Princess is very shallow at the center, the tissue that belongs there gets smushed up out of the cup and to the sides - both are uncomfortable. The majority of the projection in this bra is toward the outer edges of the
- My breasts are very "front and center" in their position on my chest - when I was looking at shape gallery pictures, the thing I noticed most is that almost all breasts in my size range naturally go outwards, at least a little bit, while mine are pendulus but all the tissue below my IMF is straight out and down : the Princess is designed for splayed breasts with roots that start further apart than mine and end much further out on the chest or under the arms than mine.
-I'm Full on Top: CK Princess most likely works for FoB shapes better - the top of the cups are very closed.
-While I've always considered myself to have more broad shoulders than most (especially among ladies wearing a 28 band!) I found the expected shoulder width much too wide, these straps practically fell right off my shoulders.
-Center gore is too wide, cups too far apart for close-set breasts
-Wires too long - for high set breasts the dig into armpits
-Wires too wide (part of being too long - there's no place else for them to go!) - Wide wires seem like a foundational issue that is always incompatible with my shape. If the wires on a bra point back towards my armpit instead of following the U shape of my breast root on the front of my torso, my breasts will inevitably be pushed to the sides. Since they don't like to be there, I wind up falling out of the cups because the center of my breasts have more dense tissue than the outer halves. The result is discomfort and lack of support (and also a pretty unattractive look!)


Compatibilities:
- I think my breasts are somewhat short rooted, or high set, and cups are sometimes too tall because of that. The curvy Kate Princess cups were almost too short! This might be a good fit for splayed, FoB, short-rooted gals!

Fab! Uplifted, round, and beautiful fabrication - even the inside of the bra is lined stylishly. The only downside is that the wires come up high under the arms, so it isn't really suitable for sleeveless tops. If Curvy Kate made this in a plunge version, it would be my ideal bra.

The cups gave me perfect cake on a plate shape with bit of quadboobs
But I just love it all

This is the powder blue Tease Me.

I have this bra as a pregnancy bra. It does not fit, it is a touch small in the cup, the gore is lifting. This is due to the fact that the cups are more shallow then a regular Curvy Kate bra. The strap placement on this is better but still a bit wide. The width of the wire is a touch wide, but much more wearable.. It is wearable right now because it is so open in the top of the cup. It will not require alterations to the strap and underarm area like a regular CK bra does for me.

I have firm, close set boobs and the cleavage this bra gives me is awesome! Ever since I outgrew the Deco range, I've been craving a bra to give me cleavage and this one does it! It isn't a perfect fit- the cups cut in JUST slightly, but it's not noticeable in clothing at all. I'd read that the band was very stretchy, but I found it to be smaller than Freya's 28 bands, although probably a little looser than Curvy Kate's other 28's.

Looks wise, this bra is GORGEOUS and now I want to buy the gold set! The colors are just fabulous and I love how ... much detail is in this bra. Also, praise the lord, it's PADDED! Since moving up the cups to more HH and J's, I'd begun to give up on finding padded and molded bras, but this one just tickles me pink!

My one warning is that if you don't do well with plunges, this might not be for you. It is a fine bra for me, with firm breasts, for day to day wear, but someone with softer boobs would definitely experience some spillage.

If you choose to get the shorts/thong, I found that it ran tight even for Curvy Kate. I took a 10 in the Emily briefs, but the 14 in this thong was quite tight- I really need a 16 in these.

I had to bend the wires (a lot), since they went as far as where my shoulder blades are (seriously, I can't believe anyone's roots begin at their back). I am not a huge fan of how moulded cups look on their own, but I found out they actually create a great rounded and uplifted look under the clothes - so I am keeping this one.

There is some empty space at the bottom of the cup, which happens with my other bras as well (my ribcage is getting narrower and all bras keep sliding down a bit after a couple of minutes).

The side wings are tall for me ... (I have 165 cm), so they are hurting my armpits a bit... But I can live with that.

In general, I would say this bra is meant for somebody taller than me with shallower breasts than mine are and with less central fullness (thanks to bending the wires I get no longer spillage near the central gore, but there is a bit of empty space near my armpits - the cups go too high for me).

The leopard print is rather subtle, not showing too much, definitely not under the clothes.

The J clip gives me a good shape, helping to get the cloth of the cups towards the centre of my ribcage, where I have most of breast tissue.

EDIT: I was still not happy about the central spillage, which happened quite often, so I decided to make central gire narrower, which turned out to be a fantastic idea. I did the same with my 28J - Curvy Kate » Starlet Moulded Bra (CK2501) and now they both fit me really well. The measurments of the bra were taken before the alterations took place.

Beautiful colour... Currently waiting to get it from Brastop while hoping it won´t be too small...

Update - it's perfect! Absolutely gorgeous and comfy. At first I couldn't fasten the band, but a few minuts later it was stretched enough. I wear it with adjustable straps on, since it feels more supportive that way and I also prefer the shape. You can use one strap to make a halter version of the swimwear. Paired with a high waist brief, UK size 10, which fits my 37/38 inches hips well.

Haven't good the time to go swimming yet, (neither the weather seems friendly) so there is going to be another update quite soon - let's hope so!

Lovely piece of bedroom lingerie. The lower part is actually a bit less flowy than I thought, it creates folds.

The cups are sheer, which can be a bit uncomfortable. While putting the babydoll on, your breast might hurt, since the sheer material is not soft, but once you put it on, it´s fine. The cups seem slightly larger than other Curvy Kate bras I own, but not enough to make me consider sizing down.

I had one rules when I buy bra, that is go one cup size up when I get plunge and strapless
for me it was a damn right choice go up 1 cup size.

I wore Forever21 strapless red jumpsuit on it
It was perfect!

I think I finally found my strapless bra.

half cup is 28HH/28J(mostly J)
Plunge is 28J


if you are shallow and wide root, this could be the right choice

Gorgeous bra, but unfortunately it's just not for me. The wires are super high under my armpits, I can't fill the bottom of the cup, the cups are waaaaayyy too wide for my shape. The overall fit is quite awkward, I feel that it squishes my boobs against my ribcage and makes my body look much bulkier than it is.

The band is super comfortable though (if a bit loose for me, even with it being a 28), the fabric and construction are superb and don't even get me started on the look: it's one of the most beautiful bras I have ever owned. I own this bra in a gorgeous lavender color. I mean, the bra is so pretty it took me forever to accept that I should let it go, even though I have worn it only a couple of times. This bra is gorgeous. It arrived in the mail with a string or two straying from the lace, but this is minor and easily fixed.

Unfortunately, I can't justify keeping it due to the fit--I'm spilling slightly out of the top without fully adjusting, and trying to pull all of my breast tissue into the cup results in major quad-boob. The top of the cup is very forgiving and creates a perfect cakes-on-a-plate shape, if you're into that (which I am). At the same time, the bottom of the cup buckles underneath the weight of my boobs and is difficult to fill. Does not feel very supportive or sturdy, ... especially at the top, so if I keep it, it would have to be saved for low-activity days. I can hook the band easily and the band itself is firm, but the cups make it hard to judge if the band is just right.

The center gore is a perfect height and width, and almost tacks (again, without adjustment), and while the underwire itself doesn't poke anywhere, the side of the cup where it connects to the strap digs uncomfortably into my underarms. The straps are also very wide-set and tend to slip off.

The shape and cleavage this bra gives are incredible and I feel great in it despite the glaring fit issues. I'd love to try this bra in a 28JJ or 28K, but a 30J is probably my best bet. Sizing up probably won't fix the cup height issue, but it's just too pretty to give up on!

Very excited to have found a true Curvy Kate fit. I took this bra out for a day-long test drive as soon as I got it, and it was comfortable the whole day through.

My only complaints are that the straps are a bit far apart, and the band is a little bit bigger than I could go for (but it's pre-loved, so it's probably been stretched a bit.) The cups are also definitely quite a bit wider than I need- the underwires go quite a bit past where my breast tissue ends, almost to my shoulderblades. However, the wires are very flexible and the sides of the ... cups are shallow so I don't have wrinkling fabric under my arms.

The only negative thing about this is that at the very front, near the gore, the cups are a little shallow so my breasts sometimes quadboob a tiny bit. It's not noticeable under clothes, though, and it's not uncomfortable. The cups might work better with someone whose breasts are placed further apart, though.

This bra definitely gives a rounder, more minimized shape than I'm used to with Freya bras, which have more forward projection. But it's not a bad shape, just different.

One of the ribbons that laces through the top of the cups on the bra I have came loose, so I cut it off; that explains why there's no ribbon across my left boob in the pictures.

This bra is what I chose for my first foray into buying online. According to bratabase, the cups would fit while the band would be somewhat loose - and to my surprise, that was pretty much completely accurate. I do have to pull the straps on quite tight and there's a some extra space at the top of the cup on my smaller breast, so perhaps a 28HH might have fit slightly better.

The band felt right on the loosest hook when I first put the bra on, but I had to tighten it to the second one after a few hours - no problems with slipping after that, ... so at least it wasn't obscenely loose, even if this isn't a great sign with a brand new bra.

As for the non-fit related downsides, the bra goes up REALLY high on the sides. I believe I have an older model where the poking-your-pits is particularily bad. I would not wear a Thrill Me on any day where you have to be doing a lot of activity. It is not, however, something you can't live with for a day, as long as you do the right amount of scooping.

Despite all the negativity thus far - I do have to say this bra very quickly became my current favorite. I love the look of it, with and without clothes on top. The rufflyness and seams aren't as bad as they might seem - a tight camisole under a tight jumper and I was wearing a T-shirt bra as far as you could tell. The bra is also quite light in weight and construction for a padded style.

Perfect. After returning the 30J and getting the 28J instead, I've had no problems with it. It's comfortable and fits in just about every way I could want it to. I rotate through all three of my Showgirl Collection bras, and this one is definitely my second favorite. I really don't have anything bad to say about it.

This bra almost made me cry! In the end, though, I just sighed and went to tick the "high nipples" box here in the Bratabase measurements section. Because, as beautiful as this piece of lingerie is, my nips happen to sit smack in the middle of the sheer bit - SO not sexy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> And the way it interferes with the shape from the side, is just... ugh! *shudder*

It was all the more frustrating as this was otherwise the best-fitting bra I have ever tried on (hah! finally found my size, it seems). No quadboob at all, even after walking around, comfortable ... band and straps, and the fabric is soft and silky to the touch, even though it has a somewhat plastic feel to it (it also reflects the light in a really weird way).

The support and shape are not that great, even though it fit in the cup. I got a somewhat square-ish shape from the side with the three Curvy Kate bras I have tried on and this one was no exception; what more, the breast drooped towards the ground. In the end, it was this very unflattering look that finally persuaded me to send the bra back.

All in all, this model apparently doesn't work for me. I think I'm going to give the Criss Cross a wide berth from now on.

All i really need to say about this bra is... THE COLOUR
The contrasting bluey-green detail against the purple is just too fabulous to describe into words, so all i will say on the matter is *gasp*.

The fit compliments my top heavy boobs, without giving any ridiculous cleavage (as a balconette should not do in my opinion) It is extremely comfortable in the bust area, apart from a slight issue with cup coming up rather high against my armpit.

The band is tight, perhaps too tight, however i have a thrill me in a 30H and from the day it arrived i have had to wear it ... on the tightest hooks so i figured a 28 band will last longer even if it is a bit uncomfortable at first.

In my opinion, it's worth buying a "possibly-too-tight-but-will-stretch-to-accomodate-me" band rather than settling for a comfortable but may end up being too slack band. That aside, if you have the kind of stubborn firm boobs that don't like to move with a bra then this is perfect! Oh and did i mention the COLOUR?

This bra is comfortable and well made, even though it is too small in the cup for me. The cups are lightly padded. It gives me an amazing cleavage, partly presumably because it is too small in the cups for me.

The underwire is a little high in the centre, not a problem for me, but it may be for some.

The straps appear to be set quite far apart, again not an issue for me, but may be for some.

If this came in 28K I'm sure it would be perfect for me.
