    Hasn't set fit

So we meet again Curvy Kate. Not since my dalliance with some early CK models have I returned. Back then I was just beginning to buy bras in sizes outside the norm for North America. All I can say is that the early soft cup bras I had tried were kinda weird for my shape. I'm happy to report that I've had more luck with this particular shape. At a 28H in this style, I do feel the wires are about half a cm wide at the highest point and that the top of the bra cuts in a bit depending on my arm position. So it's not a homerun, by an means, but definitely an improvement for me. The only problem is actually the fact that I haven't weened myself off of lined and moulded cup bras. That and the gore is probably half an inch too high for my close set pair. Not the bra's fault at all as I have this problem with any bra that has a gore over 2.5 inches high.

I had a hard time weening off moulded and lined bras too but if you can find a soft cup that fits well, it definitely help. I like that soft cup holds you up but isn't so cake on a plate like a moulded bra. I actually get more control in a soft cup compared to a moulded where my breasts are sort of sitting on the cups. This looks great on you despite the little issues. Seems you are close to a perfect fit!

The color is so beautiful with your skin tone, too. I was pleasantly surprised by Gia, too. And Gia's replacement, Cascade, is no Gia. ;-)

    Didn't fit

For me this bra, and well, almost all Curvy Kate Showgirl bras, is too large in the band. Everyone I've heard needs to size down a bandsize (and up at least a cup) in the Thrill me, but since there are no 26HH I'll have to do with this.

However, it does fit proberly on the tightest hooks when it's new and I will alter it as soon as possible. I still find it good enough to be worth the money as I bought it on sale. All my comments will be based on the fit new with hooks on the closest set of eyes. I will update this ... after the alterations.

    ------------------------------------------

When it comes to the Thrill Mehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":s" /> you really have to be careful. There are bras out from several seasons and the fit differs a lot. This one (wine/navy) fitted me perfectly in the cups, but the ivory/black one is a cup size larger, even though it looks the same otherwise.

In this one the support is great. Of course, with a half cup bra you can't expect the same support as with a full cup one but still it's great. The cup isn't moulded but padded and keeps it's shape even off. The satin cups look faboulous and the colour might be more red than I thought but I still love it.

The wires go quite high in the front, which may be an issue for some. For me it usually stops hurting after some wearing. The straps sits quite far apart in the front, almost too far apart for me. This does however help with the shape and could also be a bit less wide if wearing the correct size.

It gives cleavage. The amount is probably determined by the boob shape and the size, but for me, who usually don't get huge amount of cleavage I think it's just right. Since it's so low cut you can usually choose size based on how much oumph you want, but I suggest go with a cup size larger and a band size smaller than your usual Curvy Kate unpadded-bra size, if it is the wine/navy one you're looking for.

    -------------------------------------

    Pros:
    +Comfort
    +Cleavage
    +Looks
    +Support

    Cons:
-Band size one size larger than usual
-Unconsistent cup sizing between different colours
    -Many changes in the model
-Straps positions a bit too far out on the shoulders.

This is a about the Ivory/Black Thrill me, for other colours, check those reviews.
    ---------------------------------

This is my third Thrill Me, and yes, it's different too. Curvy Kate is in general quite consistent, but that doesn't apply to the Thrill Me in the Showgirl Collection unfortunatly.

This one is absolutly lovely. The feel of it is great, it's much more supportive than I've ever expected and gives a really nice uplifted cleavage.

However, that doesn't help when it just doesn't fit. It is known that the Showgirl range tends to be a lot larger in the band, but that this one is a lot larger in the cups than the wine/navy ... even though they look identical, that was unexpected. After comparing the wires (there will be a picture up soon) I've realised that this 28H actually has the wires of a Curvy Kate 28HH, and strangely enough I'm not the only one that have encountered this problem, this model is actually a cup size larger than the wine/navy one.

The straps is a bit wide on me on this one too, which probably is due to the too large band size. I still wear this. With some extra padding the cups are fine, and well, when the tightest hooks don't make it I'll alter it instead. This is how good this bra is.

I can certainly recommend this, but, if your interested do take the time to choose size wisely. One band size down and in most cases, keep your ordinary cup size. This one runs big compared to other Thrill Mehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":s" /> so be careful.

I've been eying the this bra for a while and finally took the plunge when it went on sale. I noticed when looking on the entries for my usual size (28GG) that the cups seem to run small. I'm pretty sure this is intended to give the "sexy" effect, but I wasn't too keen on that so I went ahead and ordered a size up. In the end, I'm glad I did, because it juuuust fits.

The design is definitely alluring, in particular with the berry/black, but doesn't have quite the oomph I was expecting. That could be because I ordered up a size, but I know there's ... other ways to make a bra cleavage-y without just making it too small in the cups, so it's just a teensy bit disappointing. For all the cleavage hype, the cups are suprisingly tall and spaced, imo. The straps are very wide set, much too wide for me. If I were to wear the straps where the bra wants them to be, they'd be slipping off my shoulder all day long and I'd get gaping at the top edge, so I have to pull them in to sit in the right place. The sides don't poke for me, but if you typically have issues with tall, wideset cups poking armpits then you'll probably get that problem in this bra. The padding is very light, the material itself isn't itchy or uncomfortable for me, but I've noticed the lace at the top of the cup can give the illusion of gaping, even though the top of the cup is flat against the breast. The wires are also pretty wide, but that's basically a given with Curvy Kate. They're stiff but not stabby. The bra has three hooks and the band is on the strechier side of a 28, more like a 30.

Over all, I love it, and the SO gives it two thumbs up https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

Edit: Unfortunately, after wearing this bra a few times, I've discovered it's SO shallow at the bottom that during wear my boobs will actually push the bra out of my imframmary fold and down my ribs, where it will chafe. So, daily wear is out https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Still good for special occassions!

First off, gorgeous bra. Soft smooth fabric, great colors, just beautiful out of the box.

The number one thing that I love about this bra is the wires. Most wires are just a general formed U shape. These actually have some curve to the shape so the move around the ribs instead of cause some pain during break in.
Number 2 positive is the lower center gore. It is only about 3 inches high, where my Freya and Panache balcony bras are 4 inches high. Much lower in the front and I love the shape.
Now one negative of the silky fabric ... is the fact that it causes the straps to slide off my shoulders easier.

I do need a smaller band, but it is no worse then the two Freya bras I have added. The band is also very stretchy. I'm not sure if I need a larger cup as the center gore is slightly lifted or if it is just because my breasts are too close for the width of the gore.

Overall gorgeous bra, definitely a keeper even if the fit is not quite perfect.

My bikini from this summer. (Get ready for porn boobs!) I loved it when it was my size, fitting well enough for a bikini. The downside is that it didn’t stay in my IMF and the straps were eating my armpits and breaking my neck. This is about 4 cup sizes too small right now, so let’s hope I manage to tuck the nips in. 😂

My shape: Projected, narrow, shorter roots, even/functionally full on bottom, soft tissue. Cleo Lily fits me best.

This fits about like a tight 30G-ish. I think the wires are a bit too wide, and the straps a bit too short, for this to be comfortable enough to keep.

I bought this used from another Bratabase user. She has altered the bra - repositioned the straps to make it more centre and shorten the band. On my 27" ribcage, the altered band fits perfectly, very firm without being too tight. The repositioned straps looks like how my other well-fitting bra looks like on my shoulders, and I have broad enough shoulder to not have any problems with the width of the straps. I guess the original would be much wider.

Onto the bra fit. I usually wear 28G bras. However, knowing that the Showgirls range comes up very small in the cup, I bumped up to this size, ... 28H. The measurements given in Bratabase look like it will fit me. However, upon wearing it and after swooping and scooping, clearly the bra is still too small for my full on top boobs. I have to somehow tuck in my boobs a little to make it wearable. It seems I need a deeper cup. Masquerade Rhea in 28G fits me perfectly although the depth of that bra is less than this one (9.6" -> 10.2"). The wires also are too wide on me. For padded bras I find that 5.5" width are just nice for my boobs. This bra has a 6" width. I have empty spaces on the sides.

Fit aside, this bra is so damn comfortable. Now I know what it means when "hug the boobs" expression comes up. This is just it. Compared to Rhea, Tease Me is much more comfortable. The lace also doesn't show under my clothes, except for paper-thin tops. The shape it gives is round and very close to the body. I like that since it doesn't scream BOOBS! all over. I can use this as an everyday bra.

All in all, I will have to go up one cup size to 28HH to get a decent fit. I really don't like the really wide cups although I guess that's a given as you go up cup sizes.

I liked this bra when i first got it. It fit much better than my previous 30F/ 30FF bras (clearly!)

The band is very loose - i measure 29 inches under bust, and this 28 is way too big, it slides even on the tightest hooks.

The straps are super stretchy - and the clasp moves of its own accord which is not great.

The central gore does not lie flat on me, i think it is because the back is so loose. In addition, i don't think that the cups are deep enough for my boobs, although i do not think that going up a size would fix the problem, i think then it would just gap at the top....

i like it a lot, it is very pretty and luxurious. However, i must say that i am not enamored with the quality.- the elastic on the straps has started to wrinkle after only 1 month of wearing/ washing the bra about 5-6 times.

Even though my underbust circumference shrank and I now have to do my grape/jade version of this bra up on the tightest hook, I still wanted another while it was going cheap. I really like this bra! It's pretty, it's comfortable, and it goes surprisingly well under a lot of things despite the frills.
This bra has truly bizarre sizing. I feel like I could go up another cup size, although I won't because this current one doesn't give me too much trouble.

    Grape/jade:
I'm soooo glad I tried to find the right size. I first had the azure/plum in 30FF and it was completely wrong. Just looking at the pictures I took of both, you can see a massive difference in shape.
The cups are really nice and soft, and the design is so pretty. I was afraid that I might not get the signature cleavage of the Thrill Me in this size, but I tried on a low-cut t-shirt and it wasn't the case at all. Well, as much as I can ever achieve cleavage, anyway.
It's surprisingly comfortable for something that looks so glamorous.

  12. Ella Balcony Bra (CK1301)

Oddly enough, I fit into both the 28H and the 28HH in this style, the only difference is that I feel more supported in the larger size. Apparently this is because the bra is very open on top, and I have full-on.top boobage.

I'm quite a fan of the shape it gives the breasts, both from the front and from the side. It also gives much more support than the other Curvy Kate model I tried, the Criss Cross, though compared to my other bras, even this support is not that great. There's a lot of bounce when I wear the Ella :/

I love the blue/orange color combo, though. Great under low-cut blue tops!

  13. Tease Me Padded Bra (SG2001)

Firstly - if you're not comfortable with the idea of showing off your assets, forget about this bra, unless you are one of these girls who like to wear sexy lingerie under demure outerwear!

As someone who has only recently developed into Curvy Kate territory, after years of hding my chest I'm just beginning to get used to the idea of displaying my curves, I'm going to have to buy a few more low cut tops to boost my confidence levels.

This bra gives me an amazing shape. My boobs look amazingly plump but well supported in this bra - usually the term 'plump' is regarded as derogatory, and I've ... never ever been described as 'plump' before, but in this context I'm loving it. I've heard the term 'cakes on a plate' used in reference to the decolletage on Showgirl bras - this is a very apt description. I find this bra very comfortable - it doesn't dig in anywhere, and the band is nicely tight round my chest. There is some light padding, but it doesn't add to the bulk and actually helps give a nice shape. Many of my friends with big boobs won't touch any sort of padding at all in the mistaken belief that they don't need padding - they should try this.

In short, I love this bra, gives me the WOW factor!

    Pros:
-The length of the underwire worked really well for me. It didn't dig into my armpit and ended just before it hit armpit. As someone who doesn't shave this is great because I'm not accidentally pulling hairs when adjusting the bra because the underwire digs
-The shape is quite nice for well rounded breasts but I'd argue it favors the FoT a bit better because of how it's cut
-Great strap thickness, very supportive, the strap placement is great it doesn't cut into my underarm fat. It also doesn't shift or move around or become adjusted from where you put the adjuster.
-I am a bit narrow but I find the ... spacing on this bra's center gore is still nice for me

    Cons:
-EXTREMELY SHORT/TIGHT BAND. When I measured it unstretched ignoring the curve of the underwire and only measuring in an arc is was 24" if I was being generous. Yes it stretches well but in a way that is painful and not comfortable. It's a tight, strained stretch. Stretched as much as it can go it stretches to about 27.5". I'm genuinely worried it's so small that it's going to cause the underwires to twist in their casing or stitching to pop.
-Cup very clearly runs small and narrow compared to other H bras I've seen presented
    -Extremely long center underwire
-Mine had horizontal wrinkling at the base even when the underwire was flush to breast tissue. I believe this is caused by not enough immediate projection for my balloon levels of projection when supported and the fact the cup itself is just so narrow.
-My breasts do leak out the sides. The underwire does properly cup around the side of my breast, the cup itself is just cut a little low in that spot for me.
-The print fabric cuts a little low where it meets the lace so one of my nipples is very eager to say hello to everyone
-Not enough immediate or central projection for me. Given the cup is rather narrow it needs more projection to accommodate my particular breasts. My poor nipples fold in on themselves in tha bra cup. Again I'm pretty sure this cup runs half a size small, maybe closer to a GG than an H.
-The fabric of the band, while stretchy, is a really scratchy poly net.

    Fit Nuetral/be aware:
-SHORT straps. I'm 5 ft tall so I'm sort and I still wear these straps at their longest.
-The lace band at the top cupped around my breast nicely but the mesh of the lace (the filler after the frilled edge where it meets the print fabric) didn't get filled. Top cup piece may be a little wonky.
-The way the bows are attached to the bra causes knotting on the underside against the skin which is uncomfortable.
-fabric is a smidge on the scratchy side if you have sensitive skin or nipples
-I don't get the blue underband and the blue bows..it's a black and red bra..who thought powder tiffany blue was the right color to accent it?

My chest for reference: 28H is standard for me. I have settled borderline pendulous breasts with forward facing nipples. (When supported, my boob fat settles which can cause my upper breast to slightly deflate). Slightly FoB but relatively even in fullness. Slightly lower set breasts, wide roots (breat tissue starts under armpit). Splayed breasts slightly close set (nipped do not point in opposite directions, they are still front facing on my breasts due to the excess breast issue on the outer sides). High central and immediate projection when supported. Very squishy ribcage. Narrow shoulders. Barely 5'1" height.

This bra seemed to have the right amount of depth for me. However, like most cups it was too tall. I found the wires to be wide. They did encompass all of my breast tissue, but it didn't feel like the bra brought them forward. I got side boob spillage with this bra on the larger side. Not sure how to take that considering that the top was gaping. The cups were too separate for my breasts and the gore was too high. I wish they made shorter bras! I have tall roots but they have effectively nothing there as I've very bottom heavy. Overall not a great fit, also the straps (as usual) were too wide set and dug into my armpits quite a lot.

This is a great strapless bra EXCEPT for the weird vertical seams on this bra. They show under all but the loosest of tops. I love that it has 4 rows of hooks (important in a strapless bra especially in a 28H). Not crazy about the high gore and cup height. If you have a low cut summer top this bra will NOT work . It does come with detachable straps so you can convert this to a regular bra, halter bra , one strap bra or criss cross back bra.

I was excited to even find a babydoll manufactured in my size, 28H, so I can forgive some minor complaints with this one. I love the berry color and the design of the cups. I don't quite like how the skirt hangs- it's very clingy and bunched, I would prefer a looser/flowier silhouette. I also don't love the padded cups, they are unforgiving of asymmetry and my larger sides quads ever so slightly when fully swooped and scooped while my smaller side gapes a tad. They also functionally make the cup shallower at the bottom than my breasts want. While I can adjust my boobs to sit nicely in the cups with some effort, I do eventually get wrinkling at the bottom of the cups from lack of immediate projection if I move around a lot. It's a babydoll, so practicality isn't a big deal with this one. It's not nearly as good as my "holy grail" babydoll, Curvy Kate Belle, but it's nice to have another style.

My entire life I've never thought there were babydolls in my size. I was SO EXCITED when I saw that Curvy Kate made this model in a 28H. And it fits!!! Not only that, I actually really love the "Belle" cut- it seems super deep and very immediately projected. I like it so much I might hunt down the regular bra version as well. I like the blue color and the satin hem on the skirt of the babydoll, as well as the embroidery on the cups- all lovely. I could do without the button on the gore and may take it off. Otherwise this babydoll is a miracle!

I could barely close it. It fits like how I would imagine a 26 band would fit, so if you’re in the sub 28 club, it might work for you! I am moving on to 30GG.
