This is my first "decent" bra in a long time, since I have put on about 10kg over the last year, so I am a bit lost with my current bra size.
I feel it is a supportive bra but wearing it on the middle hook, the center gore is not quite flat against my sternum. Cups fit comfortably in the bottom but there is some spillage on the top. After wearing it for about 10 min. I get the "quadraboob" effect. But what I really dislike about this bra is that it tends to pull my boobs down when you look at my profile. My first thought was that it made my boobs look "sad" ... if that makes any sense!

This bra is absolutely stunning, and definitely made of sturdy stuff. I feel like the quality of the materials is high, except perhaps for the straps; they seem a bit flimsy. Unfortunately it's just a bit small in the cups on me, so my boobs migrate up and out every time I move!

Pros: Beautiful- if you're into burlesque performance, this bra is for you.
Sturdy and uplifting; probably will last a long time, though you might have to replace the straps eventually.
Comes in all sorts of colors.
Soft, non-slippery inner lining makes it comfortable.

Cons: It would be hard to find clothes to wear this with. The ruffles at the top of the cups are very visible under everything. It would only really be practical for non-sexytime wear under sweaters during winter https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
    Cups seem to run small.

    Didn't fit

Acquired this bra by exchange on Bratabase in the hopes that it would be big enough in the cups, and it's actually a lot bigger than most of the HH's and J's by Panache that I just got, and certainly much bigger than the Curvy Kate Thrill Me bra in 28HH. I'm keeping it even though I get a bit of quad boobing because it's still comfortable and keeps my breasts in place; with most bras, they shift around during the day, but this one stays put.

    Pros: Comfortable.
Super pretty color range- this one is bright red and orange. I've never had a red bra before! And I wear ... a lot of pink, and it doesn't show under my pink shirts https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Looks a lot higher quality in person than in pictures.
Cups run big- but it might be a bad thing for some people!

Cons: Straps a little too far apart for me.
Cups run big- might be a pro, though!
Lace along the top of the cups is a little frilly and doesn't lie quite flat. It makes the bra pretty visible under a shirt.
Compared to my other bras, I feel like the quality of the fabric isn't quite as nice.
Wide wires- they go considerably beyond where my breast tissue ends. They also aren't as well padded as on my Freya bras. No side support underwiring, but that always pokes me painfully anyway.

I think this was one of the hardest bras to get the right fit on for me. The 34gg was a bit too small in the cups and the 34h was too big. I ended up getting a 32j and with an extender it was the best fit I could get in this style.

This bra is so comfortable, but the band is a bit tight, and I would probably try a 36J in the future. The cups are great, but the shape, I think, doesn't quite fit my breasts. I get a shape that's kind of like a football. This may be the balcony style of the bra--I haven't worn too many balconettes lately, not since I've been properly sized. The feel is nice, the mesh part sexy. If the style suited me better, I would definitely love and recommend this bra.

First bra bought after measuring myself 29/33. The cup seems good, but the band is way too small. I cannot close the band without an extender. The gore portion also pushes in far too much. The far separation of the straps was also bothersome. Otherwise, this bra was beautiful and I really wished it would fit me!

It's a very pretty bra, but the cut just isn't for me at all. It's way too wide!

The lace at the top edge is very itchy! I couldn't get used to it, and I'm not sure it's something that will get better with more washes.

The band is very tight, which was a great thing, and in the light pink and white color, it's very feminine and pretty!

The color is surprisingly prettier in person than in any pictures I saw online.

As a 29 ribcage, I thought I'd try a 28 band as the 30's tended to shift on me throughout the day. It's definitely very tight, but it feels more comfortable the longer I wear it. The support and lift on this bra was the best I've seen so far in the CK brand. Unfortunately the bra cut into the tissue of my larger breast so I'll definitely need to size up a cup.

Construction-wise, the decorative ribbon on one cup was too loose and it poked out. It was a bit disappointing. Also, the center gore is itchy.

    Wine/Navy

As I said in my other reviews, I own three of these bras and use them as t-shirt bras with the ruffles and the bows on the straps removed. These bras are really comfortable and fit me perfectly. This bra is by far my favorite style. The shape is round and smooth. See other reviews for more.

    10/10

    update 12/12/12 lol:
I've actually been wearing my unpadded cleo bras a lot more recently because I feel a lot more comfortable and secure in them. I tried wearing this one yesterday morning, and it just isn't as comfy or supportive. Also, I've had the same problem with all of the Curvy Kate bras I've tried: when I take my bras off my thumbnail puts a small hole in the band and I don't even press hard with my nail either. So, I'd say that's a quality issue.

I wanted to love this bra so badly! The trappings are beautiful - periwinkle blue lace, ribbons, and bows with white accents. Doesn't make for a subtle look under clothes, but that is not the reason one buys a bra with all these bells and whistles, is it? The fabrics are all very comfortable despite the frills. It seems very well structured, and I especially enjoy the powermesh that makes up the side wings and back, and the fact that the straps are fully adjustable. Since it's a balconette, it gives good uplift without very much cleavage, which is my preference. Overall, a ... beautiful and well-designed garment.

All that being said, I have some fit problems with this bra. Even though the cups seem to fit well, it seems too big in that it is a little on the wide side. Most noticeably, the entire outer edges of the cups are basically cutting into my armpits - the straps, the underwires themselves, and the fabric that curves down to the wings. If I align the straps vertically, as they are meant to sit, they actually sit on the outside of the acromion (the bump at the end of one's collarbone). And as a result of the whole conglomeration sitting very tenuously at the edge of my shoulder, I often feel like the straps are on the verge of falling off, no matter how tight I adjust them. I don't consider myself to have narrow shoulders, but this proved to be the main problem with this bra.

Since the band as a good amount of stretch to it and I'm having some gapping at the top of the cups with a 32F, I suppose I could try sizing down and seeing if that would help the problem. Of course, I bought this item on sale and this was the only one anywhere near my size. So next time, I'll try the 30F and see how that is.

the 32 band stretches to 35 inches and feels firm, but the cups are definitely too small in all dimensions. the uplift was *very* high but I couldn't fill the bottom of the cup, and the wires cut into breast tissue on the sides AND at the cleavage. at least one cup size too small and probably two. I took it off right away as there was no sense in running a comfort test. It's *so* pretty, though, I hope I can find one that fits.

I only took one picture because it really didn't fit. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

  14. Fleurty Balcony Bra (SG1301)

The band of this bra is really stretchy, which is why I went for a 30 instead of a 32. I also heard that the cups ran small, which is why I sized up from a 30GG to a 30H. The band is very snug on me and I am considering getting an extender.

When I where this bra as a "stand-alone," I do not feel that it gives enough support to the top of my breasts, but when I pair it with a clingy camisole, the tightness of the band and the bounce of my breasts is reduced. Perhaps my breasts are extra soft on top?!

If you are looking for a bra to please a lover as well as yourself, this is definitely a good choice, especially if that person doesn't like "traditionally sexy" things.

I previously tried this bra in a 28E, and returned it because the cups gapped on top and the center gore dug in. This size is MUCH better: the top of the cups are filled and the wires don't dig. The lace still sticks out slightly from my breasts, but I can fix that with just a couple of stitches.

I have to wear this bra on the tightest hooks and the cup size is not large enough. I probably would fit better in a 28HH in this bra. The straps are also very wide set and tend to slip off my shoulders.

  19. Lottie Balcony Bra (CK1601)

This bra feels a bit tight but I'm new to well fitting bras and I have heard that's normal. As a comparison, I have a Curvy Kate Fleurty Bra in a 30H and this band is as tight as that one because the Fleurty's band is super stretchy. I'm pleased with the shape this bra gives and it supports me well, but my breast tissue on the top is a little bit jiggly, though not bad. It's an unusual color combo but it is quite pretty.

Cons: I think that the straps are set a bit wide for someone with sloping shoulders. The mesh part of the cup = nipple show-through, so in the photo (to be posted), I am not swooped and scooped into the cup as well as I could be.

Sad boobs: If you follow the curve from both the bottom and top, you see that the upper part, pointing down, is much longer than the bottom curve, giving a not so uplifted look https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The band feels a bit big, but that may because of the really wide wires, which can make it feel like the band is bigger than it is.
