First: Bratabase says this bra doesn't fit - the band is a bit too tight. I've been wearing this bra with an extender for the first few times. And now it does fit, so it stretched out a bit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> But I think next time I will order a 30D.
Well, what to say to this beauty? I'm in love with the Tease Me design. It's chique, sexy, reminds me of burlesque dance but really beautiful.
I've always wanted the purple Tease Me and now brastop had it on sale for 10pounds only. My big chance.
I don't regret it, the bra provides a really nice ...shape. I think this bra looks best when the cups are rather tight. Not too tight https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Then it does push without squeezing. I like. The braids at the cups can be seen a bit through a shirt, so if you don't like this, maybe cut them off or order another bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
I don't mind, so I will keep the braids. So sweet, with the satin ribbon details!
The wires tend to poke a bit in the sternum and on the ribcage. It was worse the first few times I've worn it, but now it's a lot better. But if you are really sensitive, maybe this bra isn't your best choice.
Note: Fellow bra bloggers and bra communities have found out that with Curvy Kate you often have to go up one cup in bigger cup sizes!
(In my sizing range this doesn't apply.)
I tried on this bra in the colour pink/black from 2011 and it was overall to small for me. I would definitely need a 28E or 30DD with this colour. So the sizing seems to vary with the different collections!
The cups were didn't go up as high as the purple ones and the cups were overall smaller and more shallow. One word: nipplegate.
Beautiful bra, more of a red than the pinkish I thought it would be. It digs in a little bit into my sternum but otherwise is a very comfortable bra. It is meant for someone with a lot more projection than me, but might be something I try in a 28D if I come across one. I'd only do this because it does put my breasts up slightly, making them more projected overall. With a smaller cup size, I could possibly fill the bra better.
This bra was really uncomfortable when I first put it on because the under wires were too narrow and curving in poking my ribs. I stretched them out a bit and it is now extremely comfortable! I don't quite fill out the bottom of one of the cups but it isn't noticeable when I'm wearing it. The lace at the top of the cups also sticks out a bit sometimes, but the cup barely covers me and I would definitely have no coverage and quadraboob if I sized down. These slight fit issues aren't very noticeable and overall I'd say that this bra fits pretty well. It is also so beautiful that I will definitely be keeping it and although I got mine on sale I would purchase it again at full price in a heartbeat.
Worst fit I've tried so far. I had been warned about the Tease Me but I thought is was so pretty so I tried it anyway.
The gore is horrible painful from the very moment I put it on yet the band is not too tight. There is major gaping at the top of the cup.
It's looks so beautiful in pictures but I was quite disappointed with it in person. Even for an embellished bra it has a very rough surface. I honestly don't think I own any clothes other than hoodies that wouldn't show the pattern of the cups.
Fits well and gives a nice round shape. The wires could be júst a bit wider for me, but it's a very sexy bra. The top of the cups gape a bit, which is easily fixed by sewing in the lace and the centre gore was to wide for me (which actually always is the case) but I sewed the cups closer together.
I previously tried this bra in a 28E, and returned it because the cups gapped on top and the center gore dug in. This size is MUCH better: the top of the cups are filled and the wires don't dig. The lace still sticks out slightly from my breasts, but I can fix that with just a couple of stitches.
