Very comfortable, and a pretty good fit! I have narrow roots and a FOB outside-heavy shape. This bra fits well enough to be comfortable, and gives a nice smooth shape under clothes. But there's some wrinkling at the top where I don't quite fill up. I just read that Marcie is good for FOT shapes and that Cleo Lucy is similar but better for FOB. I'll keep this one, but I just ordered a Lucy and hope it will fit even better.

Edited to add: The 36FF - Cleo » Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) does fit even better, but that one is hideously uncomfortable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

A few weeks later I'm still happy with this bra. I'm wearing it with an extender and it's very comfortable. It gives me such a front-and-center lifted shape, I feel 10 years younger. Unfortunately there's some empty lace flapping in the breeze where I don't have the top fullness to fill it out, but I can live with that. It doesn't show under clothes.

Great fit but really uncomfortable! My breasts are narrow-rooted, short-rooted, slightly splayed, projected, and FoB. This bra fits my shape better than the 36FF - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) . The Marcie had a lot of empty lace at the top that I couldn't fill out. That's not much of a problem with the Lucy; there's only a little extra space under the lace and mostly towards the center. I get a little bit of orange-in-a-glass wrinkling at the bottom, because I could use shorter and more projected cups. But that's very hard to find, and this is close enough to overlook. This ... bra lifts and brings my breasts front and center with a natural but not too pointy shape that makes me feel 10 years younger. It looks fabulous under clothes. The base peachy-pink color is nice but I'm not a fan of the bright orange embroidery. The gore tacks fully and feels firm but not too high. The wires are a good width and don't poke me under the arms at all. The straps are set awfully wide, like with many Cleos, but I can tolerate that. What I can't tolerate is the overall feeling of harshness when I wear this bra. The fabric is scratchy. The wires press the rough narrow seam at the bottom of the cup directly into my flesh. The bottom edge of the gore feels sharp, and the bottom edge of the band feels like it's pinching all around even with an extender. I wish I could stand to wear this bra because it fits well and looks good. But I just can't stand to wear it for more than a few minutes. A wash and soak in fabric softener didn't even help very much. I wish they made a bra with the same cut but softer fabric and smoother seams. Preferably with the straps not set so wide, too.

    • Sometimes things soften with washing? not sure if its worth the risk tho

    • I did wash it, and soaked in fabric softener. That helped a little with the scratchiness but the seams are still really rough.

    • I had a similar experience with the Cleo Juna: probably the best shape match and fit I have ever had in a bra, but so hellishly uncomfortable! :(

    • You could see if the fabric on the Kali is nicer to your skin? Or one of the other sister cut bras.

    • I found the Lucy intolerably itchy too, even though the Marcie and Lily don't bother me. It's unfortunate!! I've never tried the Kali.

    • I loved the shape of the Lucy, but I felt like it was trying to cut me in half. I even tried an extender and bending the wires, but it still gave me cuts where the underwire started to curve away from the gore.

I tried it on and thought it was a perfect fit, but the center gores cut into my cleavage area breast tissue a bit. I feel it fits fine on the armpit area and not too wide there. It does leave little marks on my cleavage after taking it off, yet it still feels pretty comfortable. The 36 band is a little tight and I'm wearing it on the loosest setting.

I bought this on Zulily while trying to figure out my size. It's a cup size too small but that seems to work to its advantage. I usually get a bit of loose fabric at the top of my Cleos (Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) , Cleo Ellis (7211) ) and a little inner cup quadding since I'm pretty projected and FOB. With this bra I get just the smallest amount of quadding at the top of the cup. I have a tiny bit of inner-cup quadding but it's not as noticeable as on some of my other Cleos possibly because the lower fabric is more firm.

The gore doesn't quite tack because the cups are pulling my breasts so close together. It doesn't seem to affect the fit or support so I'm okay with that. I think if the gore were lower it wouldn't be an issue.

This bra seems to be a bit wider and more shallow than my current best fitting bra Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) . The cups seemed smaller than my other FFs and I got some east-west and quadding. The bra seemed to flatten me since the cup was too small and too shallow for my projected shape.

When I bought this bra I was on the verge of sizing up to a 36G but it fit perfectly. This bra really pushes my boobs to the front of my body and has the perfect projection for me. The pattern is very cute and unique. I would say the cups run true to size or a bit large and the band is tts.
Unfortunately the wires popped out of this bra after only a few months of wear. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I was heartbroken and actually continued to wear it for awhile without the wires. It still brought my boobs up front and centre but was obviously less secure and the gore did not tack so my boobs began falling into the centre.

Love love LOVE this bra! I normally wear a 34G but this fits exactly the same as my other 34Gs so I'd definitely take that into account when purchasing it. I love that the main body of the bra isn't just lace like some other Cleo bras, and I love the material even though it takes a little getting used to. I have low-set breasts and this bra makes them look amazing and sits them in just the right place.
The large rings in the back that connect the straps to the band irritate my backne but other than that it's perfect.

I originally had this in 38FF, but unlike its cousin, the Lily, it was too roomy and tall in the cups for me. The 36FF is a better fit volume-wise, and the bottom and center projection are still great. However, being FOB, I really can't fill out the top (unlike in the Lily, which is more closed on top -- much less wrinkling).

Also, the straps do go long enough for me, but only the back portions are adjustable.

The mesh material of the cups is soft and flexible, and without any lining the cup doesn't fight my projection. The gore comes a little higher than I prefer (plunge is ideal) but they are narrow enough to fit in my inframmary fold perfectly. Unfortunately this model is apparently being discontinued, so I'll be hoarding as many as I can!

This one is just overall the wrong shape for me. It puckers underneath my breast, is too shallow on the inner top and creates a tiny bit of quad boob. It puckers under my arms just a little as well. Most importantly the underwire feels like it's boring into my rib cage on the bottom most point.

It runs about a half cup small, great support, looks pretty.
Some gap in top of cup,I have shallow on top breasts.
I have worn it for about a month and it has not stretch out.
a bit scracty at first but after a few washing it feels fine.

Thought it was too small but it's just the wrong cut for me. Not supportive enough for my heavy breasts. The material too thin and elastic, the seams dent into soft tissue, underwires too narrow, I can't fill the bottom of the cups. The material feels a bit scrachy.

This bra was a good fit and provided good support. The materials are soft and I didn't find the cup seams irritating. But I don't love it for two reasons: three part cups aren't great for my shape (lots of center fullness already, I feel they push my breasts too much into the center) and because I detest mesh bands. I wish the bra world would get over the mesh band as the thin fabric means the elastic cuts in terribly!

This bra has turned out to be the bra I currently look forward to wearing the most, despite it being pink (not a color I like) and my also owning the Cleo Lily in the same sizes -- which is typically more true to size and easier to fit. It's just very comfortable and seems to suit my breast shape very well, even though the wires (cup width) are technically not narrow enough for them.

-I own both this bra and the Cleo Lily (sister cut) in the same sizes -- both 34G and 36FF. It's really clear that the Meg's cups are cut slightly deeper, almost (but ... not quite) enough to say it runs 1 cup size larger. I seem to be between cup sizes (34G/GG or 36FF/G), so the Meg's larger cut actually worked in my favor.

-The wires (cup width) are narrow, but not as narrow as my Lily bras in the same size. It's definitely noticeable as soon as I put it on but it hasn't bothered me, because the wires don't generally poke me (despite my extra side "padding"), and are pretty comfortable. I had to bend the wires of my 34G Lily to conform to my ribcage better, but didn't need to do so with the Meg of the same size.

-Just like the Cleo Lily and most unpadded Cleo bras, the band runs tight. My break-the-tape underbust measurement is 33" and snug is about 35", but this 36 band is just about right. I can easily fasten it on the second tighest hooks, but I haven't needed to yet. I have to wear the 34G version with an extender (for now, probably won't need to for long).

-Also like the Lily: I may technically need even more immediate projection than this bra provides, since it does slide down in the front every once in awhile -- but only by about half an inch to an inch at most. All in all, its immediate projection is good.

--I have this bra in 34G as well, and I've noticed the 36FF's straps are wider and wings are higher. The 36FF's wings are also noticeably higher than the 36FF Lily.

  17. Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831)

Finally got one cause of all the hype! I slightly prefer the shape of the Melissa but this is great too. Very impressed by the softness of the lace and other materials.

As in all Cleos I've tried, I find the band very tight and have to wear an extender; would prefer a 38F. Straps are borderline too tight and the metal ring irritates my back occasionally.

And as in all my bras, I bend the wires outward at the gore and sides to prevent them from poking. If I did not do this I would find Cleos unwearable in any size.

My breasts are even/slightly full on bottom, and the top of this bra fits me just fine. So while it might be truly great for FoT breasts, I wouldn't rule it out just because you're FoB.

Runs at LEAST 1 cup size big. I altered it (took the tops of the cups in) because I got so excited about it (it's so pretty and I'd wanted it for a long time) but really it's just too big! My usual size is 36FF, but plenty of 36G also fit (asymmetry), so I really found this big in the cup.

I'm tall and often find straps short. On this bra they were so extremely short that I lengthened them, with good results. This also got the metal ring out from on top of my scapula, where it really irritated me.

Finally, as with all unpadded Cleos I've tried, I found the band to run one size small.

I bet a 38E would fit me great in this bra and I may someday get one! A beautiful bra with amazing shape.

    - Band is comfortable, and I like that this bra has a wider band on the sides
    - Underwire is about the same as the Deco—a bit wider than my breast root but not bad
    - Straps seem too wide and dig into the front of my armpit/shoulder when I move my arms forward
    - The bottom part of the cups seems to fit okay, but there is a lot of wrinkling at the top, and the top edge does not lie flat
    - The gore seems a bit tighter than I like, and it is a little too wide at the bottom, but this is not intolerable

Better projection on me than Lucy/Marcie, but this bra wants more upper fullness than I have.

I sized down in the cup as recommended. That was a good call- the bottom section fits pretty well. But the lace section on top isn't even close, to much space for me.
