The Juna is a great every day wear bra. The feel of the cups are so nice and smooth. The thin padding is great for modesty and shape. I have to adjust myself at least once a day if I'm moving around a lot.

Biggest complaint is that the band is super stretchy. I'm a 26 underbust and even the tightest hook was riding up a bit. So I've actually brought in the band and now I wear it on the second hook (I took in the hooks).

I get minor quadboob on my larger left breast. It don't want to size up though, because I'm pretty sure I'd get gaping, and I'm not uncomfortable.

The wire width is perfect for me. Not too wide, not too narrow.

Others have said it's great for shallow breasts, and I'd agree!

Firm band, I'm a 26 and it's fairly alright for me. Good quality, not itchy in any way. Fits true to size, as a 28DD. Wires are way too wide for me, personally. Best for wide or average width. Projection is great, probably not suited for shallow breasts. Would be best suited for someone with upper fullness and average roots or someone with tall roots but it still works pretty alright for someone (me) with short roots/conical breasts. It's a very pretty bra, breathes well. All in all, I really like it!

Haven't seen a Meg in ages, kudos for tracking one down!

Just noticing now how it is such a '4th of July' type of print (:

    • bubblegum I actually got this second hand from someone, she only wore it once and it was really cheap too! Got lucky indeed! I love the print too ^^

My first purchase from the SS2014 collection! I'd say Panache has stepped up their game.

All the reviews I read indicated that this bra runs big, so I took their advice and got a cup size smaller than usual. I'm very glad I did; this feels just like a 28E from previous seasons. The band is definitely a firm 28.

Pixie looks the most similar to Bella from a previous season, but unfortunately I don't own a Bella to compare it to! I can say that the top mesh section of the cup allows for about the same volume as Marcie does. The top section is definitely not as loose/big ... as Ellis, but it is larger than Lily. It fits me very well, just like Marcie does, and I'm very full on top.

The straps have been updated this season and they're very comfortable. The material is thinner and the plastic adjustments are smaller. I don't think they dig in as much. In wonderful news, this is the MOST COMFORTABLE center gore yet on an unpadded Cleo! Normally I have to pad it to break it in, but I just wore this for a few hours without pain!

The only minor complaint I have about this bra is that it has the same short wires/low wings that the Lily does. I have a sizable Tail of Spence and get that armpit tissue spilling out the sides. However, it's invisible under clothing.

Also note that the sizing scheme got bizarre this season -- see the bra label.

A typical unpadded Cleo - nice shape, cute design and good quality. I don't wear it as often as I used to though, as the band has gotten a bit too tight for me. Muscles from push-ups are not as squishy as fat https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This is in direct comparison to the 30C - Cleo ยป Minnie Balconnet Bra (7431) that I used to own. I didn't get pictures of this, but I gave that bra away after it was in rotation for several months because it was quadboobing me even during the smallest parts of my cycle, plus the band was too loose. I have since learned my lesson and took updated pictures of other bras that stopped fitting.

This bra is totally different from the 30C version. I always thought it was interesting that the 30C fit like a plunge. This one is much more of a true balconnet. The ... gore is a whole lot higher and is also super narrow, which I like.

I really love this bra and I wish it fit me better. I am not quite sure what to make of it. The band is super comfortable, the cups are only a little bit too wide, and it brings everything front, center, and in-your-face. The problem, of course, is the godforsaken Cleo upper lace section. Why, Cleo? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I think that a lot of the Cleo bras that I've seen in this size (minnie, lucy, kali, izzy) seem to want more upper projection and center fullness then most of the people I've seen them on here at bratabase. My older daughter is very, very projected with fairly even fullness and she fills out the lace on the top of all of these styles. My other daughter, who is much more shallow on top and a more natural sloped shape, just can't wear these models. She fills out the bottom but has lots of wrinkling at the top lace section as well. Sorry that it's not the fit that you were hoping for. If you want to sell it, I'd be happy to buy it from you.

    • 1

ColorFan is spot on with the Cleo analysis. Most of their bras put your boobs front and center, but to do so, they require boobs that cooperate (namely even-ish fullness, projection (BOTH bottom and top). While some models (Marcie, Lucy, Lily, but Marcie especially) are pretty forgiving with the top lace, other models (Zia I'm looking at you! But also the Minnie and the Meg to some degree) want a very specific boob-shape with top projection. A lot of people confuse top projection with FOT - they are not the same thing. You can be even or FOT while still being very shallow on top (thats me!). Likewise you can be FOB but still be projected enough on top to fill these out.

    • 1

I have tried this bra in different sizes, and in one of them I had the same issue. For me, sizing down was the answer, a cup size smaller fits me perfectly. However, I think the wrinkling on top was more pronounced in my case, and since you've already tried the sister size with a smaller cup this may not be the answer. However, I would try a 28D if you can find one, because it seems like the cup construction varies quite a bit in smaller sizes of this bra.

The pictures don't capture this well at all, but this bra looks like it was painted onto my bigger (left) side and wrinkles only very slightly on my smaller side. I love the way it fits, lifts, and gives a very flattering and attractive shape. I am so happy that I got this bra in a trade!

I forget what this bra is supposed to be diagnostic of but I think it is ideal for my shape. Full on bottom? Even? Hippogriff?

Also, the cups are less than a half inch wider than my tissue on the sides, so I call that a win.

Hippogriff, hahahaha. It's supposed to be for FOB boobs. You got some tall roots but you also look quite FOB so the tops of these cups don't seem to cut into your tall roots. Congrats on a bra win!

The proper size does a ton for self-esteem and self-image. A couple months ago I'd never even think about wearing a non-pushup, much less a completely unlined bra.

I have shallow breasts and an average to narrow root, and this fits wonderfully. There's a tiny bit of wrinkling on the smaller side, but that's to be expected. Overall it gives a nice rounded appearance under clothes, but my smaller side is a little less rounded. With the seam placement, I'm really not worried about nipple poke-through.

The band is nice and firm, much more so than the Cleo Juna, which I found to be too stretchy for me. The straps are a bit wide-set, but it's not a problem with my body shape. Beware if you have narrow shoulders.

  8. Lexi Moulded Balconnet T-shirt Bra (9421)

    1

    28DD

    Fits

Lexi is one of the few bras that technically fit me, but I just don't love enough to keep. While on paper this style has a lot of good qualities, it also comes with some issues.

The Lexi cut is very similar to the Maddie, which fits and flatters me very well. It's a wide balconnette shape with short cups and wide-set straps, and gives a very rounded appearance similar to a corset. Because of the short cups, it works for FOB and shallow on top folks because there's not much potential for gapping. However, if you are used to a standard demi cut, the ... cups will visually look quite short and small to you. I also find that the shadow stripe satin fabric visually contributes to this effect.

The main thing I dislike about this bra is the thick upper binding on the top edge of the cup. While Maddie also has an upper edge detail, it's a lot less noticeable under clothing. I found that under tight clothing, this gave me a very visible seam running across. Since I prefer unlined bras for everyday wear and would only wear a molded cup bra under tight fitting tops and dresses, this defeats the purpose. The cups are also on the shallow side, so the cups can border on quad-boob at times, but I have tried Maddie in 28E and it was far too big. I could use just a little more depth and height in this cup for a slightly better fit.

In addition, the wide-set straps sit on my body at an uncomfortable place, and it's tricky to adjust the straps in order to provide enough support to keep the cups from sitting too far away from the body, but not apply too much pressure to the muscles and ligaments at the top of my shoulder. However, I like the solid band that feels nice and supportive.

This would be a good style for FOB, shallow on top people who need the lift and support of a balconnette style but don't plan to wear very tight-fitting clothing over the bra. I also think it would suit people with a broader frame so that the wide straps fall on a more comfortable part of the body.

This bra is so pretty but I can't decide if it fits well enough.

I don't get any quadding but the gore is only lightly tacking. On the sides I don't find it's sitting on any tissue, so I don't think that's the issue. I'm thinking it might be that the gore is too wide, a shape mismatch, or a the cups are slightly too small (unfortunately I sized down since I think a 28E might be too big based on others reviews).

After trying a cleo mimi in 28E I've realized I need to size up so looking to exchange.

band is tight! The cups are also made of firm sturdy fabric so I get a supported, projected, centered, rounded shape.
I fill the cups 98%. The 2% is looseness in the top portion of lacy bits.

I am moderately shallow and full on bottom, with tall, average width roots. I have some bottom projection that makes some bras that are typically recommended for shallow-breasted people too shallow in the bottom and too open on top for me. Of course, the average projection bras are often too projected and too closed on top for me. The Lily falls into the latter category. It feels really nice to have all of that bottom projection but I just don't have the center projection or upper fullness for this bra.

Of course, the average projection bras are often too projected and too closed on top for me. This Juna has enough bottom projection and is closed enough on top to strike a really good balance.

That said... I need a different bra. The seam in the middle is just too annoying - not only does it show under shirts, some damage or defect has caused it to ... become bumpy and warped. And the lace (ignored when determining fit) sticks up and out very badly. Furthermore the gore is a smidge too high - but I can get over it as long as I maintain a decent posture. I think this 28 band is true-to-size but as someone who needs a 26 band, I wear this on the tightest hooks.

Fixing the band and lace with sewing will be easy, but I'm not sure what to do with that warped seam!...

This bra was recommended to me by sooooo many people, I just had to get my hands on one. I've got tall roots and I'm a smidge FOT so of course the Marcie seemed like the best decision. Well.... it fits. Kind of. The band is TTS and measures exactly 28" stretched. I'd prefer a 26 band, but it was snug on the tightest hook. The wire width is good, not too narrow and not uncomfortably wide. The cups, quite frankly, are too short. They fit fine when I am standing in a neutral, relaxed position, but as soon as I move around at all they start quadding a bit. It's nothing major, just a bit annoying. For now, the Marcie is one of my best fitting bras.

The Cleo Maya, Ellis, etc, are all clones of the Marcie, which cater to FOT shapes. If you're looking for a bra that caters to FOB types, try the Cleo Lucy and the Freya Arabella/Ooh La La/Siren/Vixen.

A lot of people say Maya is clone of Marcia, but imo it's not. Marcie fits me like a dream, but Maya looks like crap. Something about the shape of it is different.

This is my current best-fitting bra. The cup fabric is smooth and strong and molds me into a nice rounded effect. The band is tight, but not as strong as I would prefer. It is made of a mesh fabric and is a little too elastic. However on the tightest hook I do feel very supported. For reference, I have shallow, FOB, slightly wide-set, wide-rooted breasts, 26" underbust, and I like my bras so tight they leave marks.

Reviews for other sizes said this bra works better for FOT, so maybe I'm more even than I thought, or maybe the 28DD is cut differently. I don't really know. ... I have a related model, Cleo Ellis, and find the Izzy slightly shallower.

The contrast of black with tiny bright stars is so cute too... It looks better, darker in person than in the stock photo. The straps and band are hot pink and I think the bra would look more sophisticated if it were uniformly black with the stars... Am I suffering from confirmation bias or is every manufacturer pumping out mostly wild neon bras?? Next bra mission: find a black one. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

edit: so after properly swooping and scooping... i quad a little bit out of this one. the cup is also too narrow for me. i found that the wires aren't very firm, and don't tack onto my body as well as they used to. this may also be caused by how much the band has stretched. this would have been perfect in a 28E but this is practically sold out everywhere... back to the drawing board.

original review: this is my best fitting bra. i find that most of the shallow-friendly bras i've tried are slightly too open on top for me due to my short roots. this one is slightly different than the continuity pinstripe (beige, black, raspberry, teal) maddie in that the print version (pop, karen, bravissimo floral, spot) is wider and more closed on top, which is perfect for my shape. the material of the print version is softer and lighter as well. unfortunately i've worn this bra to death and the band is stretching quite a bit; i'm already on the tightest hooks.

This bra definitely runs large and fits weird, but for me that makes it the best-fitting Cleo I've ever tried. If you know of any other Cleos that are like this, tell me! I want them!

I usually wear 28E in Cleo. Marcie fit my shape well, but the wires were too wide and I didn't get much lift. 28E in Breeze was much too big, there was a ton of gaping at the top of the cups.
In contrast, 28DD fits just about perfectly. The wires are narrower than 28E Cleos, but because the cups seem to run large I don't have problems with spillage like I would normally have in a 28DD. For the first time I can get that round Cleo shape!

The band is normal for a 28.

I kind of want to not wear a shirt with this bra because it's so dang cute.

I feel like my boobs slope up too gradually for this bra, which wants them to be spheres instead of teardrops. Aside from the top of the underwire (at the centre gore) digging into my chest after a few hours of wear, this is a comfy bra. It's definitely a nice shape under clothes.

Update: Wore Lily again today and noticed a little bit of quadboob after scooping... well this is new.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on with this one. The band fits great. The gore is lower than my Cleo Lily, which is a huge relief. Surprisingly, the cup is perfect on my right boob and wrinkly on my left. I thought any size difference between my boobs was negligible but I guess Lucy doesn't think so. The cups also feel like they're just a tiny bit too wide. [Edit: this is negligible.] Regardless, it's comfortable and seems like a decent enough fit, so I will be keeping this one.

Edit: or maybe not. I got another Lucy in 28D which is a better compromise for both boobs imo, with only the slightest quad on the right.

Edit 2: Actually, I'm not sure about that anymore. The 28D is fine on my left boob and quads on the right. The 28DD is fine on my right boob and wrinkles on the left. Which one fits better overall seems to vary by time of month so I might just keep both.

This is a pretty great bra. The only thing I don't like about it is the color. It has the right amount of projection, it accommodates my tall roots, and it is broad wired enough for me. The cup separation is good too. The gore height is as tall as I can stand. If it were any taller it would be uncomfortable. I wish I could buy this bra in pink or blue.
