if you could be any bra size what bra size would you pick. I would pick 32 F. Because then bras would fit me better and I would look good. And I would be able to wear Fantasie bras.

And there's also apparently an impostor masquerading as EM employee asking pictures to be "EM's catalogue model". Beware, everyone.
From their website:
Please, be careful as there is a CHEAT, pretending to be our employee. We are NOT looking for models for any catalgue. Nurit Josef (now Nini Josef) is NOT our representative and she is NOT acting on our behalf. Do ... not send pictures to anyone personating themselves as EM. If we were be looking for models that way we would post about it here, and asked you to mail the photos to klep@ewa-michalak.pl">sklep@ewa-michalak.pl.

I saw those the other day and don't have much of an opinion of them either way, though I do like the new PL a bit. Like I said though, nothing too impressive to me.
Thanks for the information!

Does anyone have a Freya Deco (4234) (around 30DD) and a Freya Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra (4232) (around 30DD) that they could measure the cup height for me. I have a Deco and love it except its too tall and gaps. But I think a Half Cup would work but want to make sure before ... I buy one.
Also I have a Cleo Darcy Padded Balconette (6821) that I fit perfect in and love! But don't like the seam down the middle it pokes through my shirts and I feel like Madonna LOL. Are there any bras that are similar to that style but don't have the seam down the middle?!?!?

Cleo Maddie Moulded Balconette T-shirt Bra (7201) probably!
I have a Deco plunge in 28E that measures a little over 5.5" tall (up the center front of the cup) and a 30E Deco half cup that measures 5.5" on the dot--surprisingly, not much of a difference!
However, I will say that I had a similar problem with the cups being too tall in the Deco plunge and found that the Deco half cup worked much better for me, so I'd definitely recommend giving it a try--I loved mine until I sized out of them.

My mom is a Victoria Secrets fan and won't wear anything else. She ordered the wrong size so I took it as an opportunity to get her in a more correct size. Still waiting to find out if they fit good but anything is better then a too small cup with a too big band.

Sorry, I know that's not what you meant, but I hate that mindset. Too small band and too big cup is bad. Too big band too small cup is bad. Bad fit is bad. Can we all agree on this? It's that mindset that kept me from the right size for a year in my search for a good bra.
I don't know if there's much you can do if you mom outright refuses to wear anything but VS. VS makes bras that only look as they're marketed when they're they incorrect size on almost anyone (for example, if you correct for band and cup width, you'll end up with a cup that gapes too much). Furthermore, they don't make very many sizes. I would if you can, try something that's in the style of VS but which comes in a wide range of sizes (like the CHP Famme Fatale or something that she would normally buy).
I hope that your mum is open to trying different bra sizes, and you can get something which is a good size and shape for her. :) At the end of the day, it's up to her what she wants to wear, but it's very thoughtful of you to help her out picking some new bras.
Another popular 'like VS but actually in more sizes' bra is the Freya Deco plunge (which works best on fuller on top and some shallow shapes), and goes up to a GG cup (though Freya should get their act together and make it in sister size volumes like Polish brands and the CK Showgirl range). It's lightly padded and moulded, and comes in basic and some more adventurous colours. Even if you guys figure out that this isn't the best shape fit for her, it's a good way to ease someone into full bust brands after being used to a plethora of padded plunges.

I decided that for Christmas I am going to get my mother properly fitted. There are a lot of issues that we will have to work around though. My mom hasn't worn an underwire bra in probably close to 20 years. I think she's wearing around a 38C or D, but probably more like 34 or 36 in the F-G ... range. She's overweight and self-conscious about it because she was thin when she was young. I think getting her into a bra that fits is going to do wonders for her comfort and self-esteem. The biggest issue is that she is a 14 year survivor of breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy and lymph node dissection and suffers from mild lymphedema. I'm worried that wires and a firm band may interfere with her already compromised lymphatic flow and cause discomfort and swelling. Has anyone had experience or know anyone with circumstances like these? I'd like some ideas about where to start, what to look for, and what to avoid. Thanks!

jamiep She might be able to help?
What a wonderful gift for your mom! I understand her issues having gone through the same thing. You might want to think about giving her s gift certificate for a breast massage that includes lymph drainage.
I find that having a massage once a month makes me feel much better both physically and emotionally. I wear underwire bras and have not any issue. Just make sure the band is somewhat stretchy, This will hard, but most important, the only way to know is to wear it. If you have a professional fitter near you that is trained to fit breast cancer survivors that would be a great place to start, call and ask. I don’t have one near where I live so I have had to it by trial and error (mostly error). Finding a great fitting bra is a must for ones self-esteem and comfort. My breast tissue has changed a lot it is not as firm as it was before treatment, so a good (great) fitting bra makes all the difference in the world. That said I am still looking for the one perfect bra.
Even if you are not able to get in to the right bra before Christmas at least try for a breast massage, she will thank you, trust me!
I hope this helps. Please keep in contact with me.

I recently tried to order from Brastop. I haven't ordered from them in months. So I was quite shocked to learn that there is now only one option left on shipping to my country and that is "recorded delivery" that costs 14.95£ !!!
Usually postage costs were 5.95£ for "Europe Standard Delivery" to my country. I'm in Switzerland.
I wrote an ... E-Mail to them asking about why I cannot choose the Standard delivery any more. No reply yet.
I am certain I won't order from them, if I have to pay 14.95£ on postage. It's more expensive than the bra I wanted to buy!
Did anyone else noticed an increase in postage costs?

That shouldn't be it. That's the worldwide delivery cost. You're in Europe so it should either be 5.95 GBP or 9.95 GBP (for recorded delivery).
Just a thought- and I haven't checked the website, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but I know some companies around this time of year try and give you the postage options which will get the article you're buying there for Christmas. So, it's possible that they've only got the faster shipping at the moment because of the seasonal issue?
Either way, it's probably not worth paying as much in postage as you will for the bra. :(

I gave my neighbor my 28GG Charlotte parfait bra cause I noticed whatever she was wearing did not fit her. It looks really good on her. She didn't have any right fitting bras so I gave her the 28 FF Zara panache also. Told her about bratabase and I was very happy about this because this is the 2nd woman that I have sized into a better size. And it's super fun. Merry Christmas!

Are you close to your neighbor or how did it all go down? I'm sure lots would be offended if not done correctly.
PrettyNpetite I just moved here Oct.1 and she has been nice to me since I moved here. we were just talking and I asked her what size bra do you wear. and she told me and I told her that it was probably the wrong size because you're not supposed to add 4 inches to your band measurement. She had been wearing 34 D/DD. and since the 28 GG Charlotte fit her so well I told her that she probably needs to get 26 or 28 bands. She looked better than the models probably because the bras are too small on the models. She was really happy. she had been wearing sports bras over her bras. and I told her I thought about doing that before. anyways it's fun/fitting women into better bras than victoria secret. lol

I passed finals, and magically got really good grades on my finals. A- in organic chemistry, yes please!
Time for some well deserved online bra browsing, and perhaps some buying

Congrats! I had to drop O-chem 2 because it was so hard.
OMG, an A- in organic chemistry?! CONGRATULATIONS!
Yes, you definitely deserve some new bras!

I really see how the new "frame width" measurement can be useful, but I fail to see how one could take a measurement of a bra to try to "match" the measurements up =/ The thing is... Many times, it's not the straps that are interfering with my armpits/arms, it's the fabric of the cup on the side. It bunches ... up because it's too wide. Sometimes I have issues with both the fabric on the side of the cup and the straps, but it's not necessarily linked together. Has anyone else thought of this?
There's a use for the measurement still though, you could mention it in your review and say whether or not it caused a problem.

This measurement is not to be matched arithmetically to any bra measurement, but to be used in conjunction with your fit information on bra strap separation.
Then we match that info to the frame width, later other girls with similar frame width should have a similar experience.
The combination of many measurements with many fit information questions should help to cluster you and other users with similar issues together and be tell which bras work and which don't.
I actually have pretty much the same issue with the fabric of the cups 'cutting' into my arms and I actually have really wide shoulders for my frame. I put it to the fact I have a very short upper torso and high set breasts, which means that no matter what, my bras end up very high on my torso. Because of my wide shoulders I also have very pronounced pectoral 'wings' which get in the way of the typical bra cup 'armhole', which tends to gently curve or slope upwards from the wires to the straps. Ideally I would need a bra cup armhole shape that goes pretty much horizontal from the wires to the front and then fairly abruptly vertical when it comes in line with the straps.
But anyway, what Jj said! Not all extended measurements may prove equally useful in the end, but one won't know until one tries to find correlations :)

I'd love to have, in the future, green coloured Cleo Marcie (6831). Deep, emerald green. Forest green. Not teal. Not neon green. But deep jeweled coloured green. That'd be nice.
Also, orange. Not coral. Bright mandarin orange.
Ah...a girl can dream...

White or flesh would be fine too
I wish they would make Marcie in basic colors (white, black, beige) too because then it really would be my everyday bra.

Honestly? I love my bra size despite the struggles that come with it. I wouldn't have my boobs any other way! I'm a 30J!
Darkmoonlily Mine are very finicky and they like to change or fluctuate too much. I've been at this for like 10 months and I'm still trying to figure it out.
