The Body By Victoria Demi is probably one of the closest things to a "proper" fit for me out of all the Vicky bras I own. I noticed they released a newer version this year so I had to give it a try.
I adore this new colorway, "Rose Mauve!" It's like the Victoria's Secret version of PINK's "Soft Begonia." So pretty! The first thing I noticed about this bra was that the gore was different - there is no longer that keyhole in the center of the bra. I don't know why, but it makes all the difference for me, as far as the fit is concerned. ...This bra gets a 10!! I love it! And it fits!! It's like the wires hug my boobs just right, and what dya know? The gore actually tacks!! Hallelujah!! I even added a photo show just how nicely it tacks. The cups are just the right depth/height/width. Of course, the only thing that could make it a TAD better would be if the wires overlapped. But not a deal-breaker. And of course, it's the "Body" so it's super soft and comfy. No quadboob, no major space at the bottom of the cup, no band riding up. My only gripe is the fact that the straps aren't fully adjustable. But it's not really a problem for me. In fact, I had to loosen them a bit because it was pulling the cups up and into my boobs too much.

OMG! I LOVE this new, fun print!! I think it's called "Celebration Print." I desperately needed to expand my Black lingerie collection and had to have this as soon as I saw it! I have one other Perfect Coverage bra in a pretty Periwinkle color and it's so comfy and soft. I wanted some more Demis and non-push-up, unpadded bras. I purchased the matching "Body" Lace Cheeky panties and this set is beautiful! The Crochet Lace adds such a nice touch to a boring, plain old full-coverage bra.
I was almost in disbelief when I measured this bra. The band is only about 25" long and barely stretched ...to 28"! PERFECT!! It's more of a 28/30 band then it is a 32...YAY! It has more coverage than the regular "Body" Demi but with a shorter gore. The cups are a bit taller but the wing is a tad shorter. Overall, it's a nice fit. I was actually really surprised at just how well this bra fits me. Nice, tight band, no quad boob, straps perfectly spaced apart (tho they aren't fully adjustable, but I don't need to tighten them anymore), and the gore even tacks!!! What's that now?! Lol, this never happens for me in VS bras! AND I find it's rather comfy! Of course, the wires are a bit wide (as always) but not too bad. There is just the slightest amount of empty space at the bottom of the cup because of this, but the depth is just right. If I could bend the wires in somehow myself (I won't even attempt it because I know I'll ruin the bra) it would be a perfect fit!!
I have to say, Victoria's Secret has definitely been improving their design in bras and I've been trying all their newer version models. I don't think they'll ever fit me quite like Polish bras do, but I just can't sacrifice the comfort I find in Vicky (no itchiness, no scratching, no stiff starchiness, no killer gores attacking my sternum!). And I LOVE the shape I get under clothes. Always a nice, round, smooth shape (when the bra fits). And I need some kind of padding. As much as I love unlined bras, I'm not at all a fan of the pointy shape they give me (and where you can see my nipples popping thru my shirt!). I've heard a lot of good things about this bra and how comfy it was...not so much for me. It's absolutely beautiful and the band is super soft (it IS part of the "Body" collection which is infamous for the softest soft ever felt!). But it just isn't working for me. Surprisingly, it seems like the gore actually tacks! However, the wires are digging into my girls because the cup/wire separation at the gore is too far apart for my boobs. The thing I like best about this bra is just how tight the band is for a 32! It only stretched a little past 29" (barely 29.5" before the wires started distorting). And the "Cool Spring Blue" colorway is gorgeous!! I wanted something bright and colorful, and fun for winter. And this is the perfect color! So pretty. And the Crochet detailing adds a nice, feminine, classy touch (seems to cover up your nipples in just the right places without taking away from the sexy see-through mesh. I really wish this bra worked for me, but I'm not too fond of the shape it's giving me, nor am I crazy about wires digging into my boobs. Just not the right shape for this bra I guess. This worked for me for a while actually, but now it's much too big. It's wide and shallow of course, but it's soft AF. Band is snug. Worked when I was a 30FF.
Well this is my first review and I'm trying to find my correct size. It's come to my attention that wrong fitting bras are to blame for pain and discomfort, not my implants.
This bra has molded cups and padding underneath, which I need since my boobs are different sizes. Unfortunately it is a terribly shallow cup and I need deep cups. The gore doesn't sit flat and is very low as well. Definitely not a good fit for me
I wish this bra was made in more sizes! It's the most comfortable and supportive bra I've worn in the 10 years I've been wearing one. The perfect width for my narrow rooted breasts but the cup is too shallow for me producing quadboob. If I gently bend the underwire to conform to my ribs the gore tacks and stays tacked. Leaving the wires straight the gore *almost* tacks. Really sexy, supportive, and comfortable if you fit into them. I find the demi version has slightly more quadboob effect than the Perfect Coverage Body by Victoria because it IS a lower cut, but there's also less fabric in the armpit area which means it's more comfortable for me and others like me where our tail of spence really gets irritated by extra fabric.
Very attractive looking bra but when I went to try it on I could hardly fasten it because the band was so tight and the cups so tiny! I'm comparing this bra to the Body by Victoria Lined Demi and Perfect Coverage models which are the biggest 32DDDs I've found at VS and fit me almost perfectly. I am sized as a 30FF/32F UK (30H/32G US) Just one cup size bigger than a DDD but I couldn't possibly squeeze into the cups on the Dream Angels Demi. My verdict, runs small in band and cup.
This was my go to bra 6-7 years ago!! My boobs were causing me pain so my sister found these for me.. And I was addicted, then they were discontinued. I sewed my stretched out band into smaller bands and shortened the straps when they stretched out.. But alas no bra lives forever. This bra had a small 1/2in bump protrusion on the bottom inside of the cup that I think made all the difference for me!
I've always been a fan of the Dream Angels Push-up, but I hate how the lace always shows through on most shirts. So when I saw this new "Invisible Lace" print with smooth cups I had to try it!!! And I LOVE IT!!! I was actually gonna start/create a new model for this push-up in the system since I noticed the model # is different on my tag than what is listed here, just for reference. But I wasn't sure if it would matter or not since it's still a Dream Angels Push-up, but just with a different print.
Anyway, on to the good stuff.... I'm loving this ...bra! I still have it on. Lol! Haven't taken it off since I got it and tried it on. It's so comfy!! And doesn't show at all thru shirts (since the cups are totally smooth) and there is no real lace on the cups. I have one other Dream Angels push-up in a 32DDD And I bought that one brand new in the store. This one definitely feels a bit tighter in the band and hasn't moved on me since I put it on about an hour ago. The cleavage and lift are fantastic!! And the memory foam padding is so super soft!!! My only gripe with this bra (as with just about ALL VS bras I own in a 32DDD) are the cups' width. I don't know why they insist on making them so wide in the larger cups! Less width, more projection please! Lol! It's causing a tiny bit of quad boob tho I'm not spilling out like I do in the DD. But there's def more "east/west" action going on in the DDD and less "front and center." Oh well, fair trade I guess.

I am SO HAPPY that VS is still keeping this "Original" Very Sexy model around!! I'm not quite sure what they did different with their newer and "improved" Very Sexy model, but I bought 2 of them (in Love Red with rhinestones and in the "Satin And Lace" Ivory with Silver Foil). They are definitely a different fit, and feel smaller in the cup (I think the cups are closer together and there may be just a tad more padding in the newer version, but gives great cleavage!). I have my other original Very Sexy in plain solid black and I LOVE it! It was my fav go-to ...bra for a while (before going on my crazy bra shopping spree frenzy...lol). But I wanted a simple all-white push-up bra without any lace, with a nice low gore and I wanted it to be comfy!

There's just something about the original that I like better. It did feel like the band was a little tighter on this one than on my other original Very Sexy bras. It barely stretched to 29.5" before the wires started to distort. I think I had the straps too tight (they sent it to me with the straps tightened all the way up to the cup, and I loosened them about halfway but think I need to loosen them some more). Another thing I noticed with this one was some slight orange in a glass on my right boob (the bigger one). I also never had this problem before either. Not sure if the girls maybe got bigger or the cups are just getting smaller? ? ? I'm hoping that maybe by loosening the straps some it will help. But still not bad. Still very happy with this bra!! My only complaint with the original Very Sexy is with the wires - they do dig into my ribs at times.
Overall, this is a great bra, esp in the plain solid white! Works perfectly as a T-shirt bra while adding just the right amount of lift and cleavage and always gives such a nice shape! Before I even start, I MUST point out.......this bra is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!! Wow. This is the newer version of the Very Sexy (December 2015). I have this in the "Ivory with Silver Foil" Satin and Lace colorway. And this is definitely WHITE!!! No Ivory whatsoever! And it's simply beautiful. The pictures don't do this bra any justice and I wasn't really impressed at first when I saw it on their website. But I had some Secret Rewards cards and coupons so I basically got this bra for next to nothing, with the matching thongs! So pretty.
I also recently just bought another newer Very Sexy bra in the ...Love Red with rhinestones (also a 32DDD). And this bra here, in the Ivory, seems to fit smaller than that one, though they're both the same size. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I feel like this one has a bit more padding to it?! I think the cups are just a teensy tad bit closer together as well, which is creating a bit more cleavage and less "east/west" action. My girls are literally popping out of it! Major quad boob! And the cups seem a little bit wider but they don't really look it. Very strange. The gore is just sort of "floating" away from my sternum. The band is definitely tight!!!! It feels tighter on this one. When measuring it, it barely stretched to 30" before the wires started to distort. The wings also seem a bit taller than other Very Sexy bras I have in a 32DDD. This bra's wings measured exactly 4" tall! And the straps on this are NOT fully adjustable (a major pet peeve of mine!). I have them tightened as short as they can go and I could prob go a little more if it were possible. The padding on this bra is exactly like the Dream Angels push-up, plush and soft, with the memory foam. No complaints about that here, though.
But all this aside, the aesthetics of this bra are nothing short of gorgeous!! So, recently I've been going a little nuts on this whole Victoria's Secret kick! I bought 2 of the "new and improved" Very Sexy bras, the new Very Sexy Flirt (epic fail, way too small, but would've been fantastic in the right size if it it were available), the Perfect Coverage, Perfect Shape and this "new and improved" Body Demi. I had tried the Body Lined Demi a little while back (in the pinstriped Pink and White with rhinestones on the sides of the cup, so adorable) but it ...was definitely a no-go! Ended up selling it. The cups were too shallow and the gore kept digging in, plus I had a bit of quad boob. The band also seemed way too loose for me and I tried to wear it a couple times but had to take it off after only a couple hours. It just wasn't working. So, needless to say, I was a little hesitant to try it again. But, after reading in their description that it, too, was also "new and improved," I decided to give it another shot...I'm so glad I did!!!! I was amazed, and still am! Not too bad. Not perfect, but not far from it. And I fell in love with this colorway - the Neon Nectar with leopard trim!! I'm not sure what exactly has been changed, but they got it right! No quad boob, a bit more projection, no uncomfortable gore, and the band feels nice and snug (granted, the last Body Demi I tried was used so it may have just been stretched out). But I'm loving this bra! It is SO SUPER SOFT AMD COMFY!! I never knew the Perfect Shape was padded. I just bought the Perfrct Coverage in a 32DDD and love it. So soft and comfy. I always thought the Perfect Shape was the same thing. Not at all. The Perfect Coverage is a lined Demi and the Perfect Shape is a padded push-up in a Demi cut. I'm loving the push-up in this, I'm getting fantastic ...cleavage! It's just like my newer Very Sexy (from their "new and improved" most recent line), with the soft memory foam padding of a Dream Angels push-up and the soft, fleece-like material of the Body! SUPER comfy...and sexy! The band is actually on the tighter side. Perfect for me!! I've had it on all day and haven't had to yank at it once. Even the straps are made of the soft fleece like material (up to the shoulders ayway) and aren't uncomfortable at all. I am getting a touch of quad boob but I think I just need to loosen the straps.

I bought this bra at the beginning of the summer (or whenever VS had that major sale). I normally don't buy their bras, in fact this was my first (and probably last) one. The straps are, for some reason, not fully adjustable. There's really no reason for this and it definitely impacts the fit. When I tried it on in store, it fit well enough and was comfy and cheap enough for me to justify the purchase. However, I now have the band on the tightest or second tightest (of 4) hooks because I feel like the band is too loose. When I bought it, I was definitely ...not aware that my ribcage is 28.5 inches, not 30. Before I realized that the straps in the back converted (no one told me this very important fact when I bought it), I had to wear it on the shortest setting. Even then the straps were too long and this effected the fit. The cups gapped up top and I had a lot of empty space. I assumed it was the wrong shape for me or even a size too big. I still wore it, but it was not very supportive nor the best looking fit. Now that I've realized I can convert the straps however, it's a smidge too small! I have breast tissue all the way up to my collar bone it feels like (I am *very* short) and the strap kinda cuts in. The cups are at the same time too wide and not wide enough: the wires are at least .5 inches too wide but the cup cuts into my underarm area leaving lumps of what I assume is breast tissue just chilling out. I get a tiny bit of quad but it's not that noticeable. The best part? I now have cleavage! So, in summary: the straps convert! Just pop those suckers out and cross them over. Big help if they were too long before. The cups-weird. Too wide but also too narrow-could be because it's altogether too small. Band-very stretchy. Comfortably wide but on the second to last/last hooks over a couple of months. Comfort-hella comfy. It gets a 10/10 here. Durability/quality-yes, I machine wash this. My sinks in my dorm won't hold water so I can't handwash very well. I wash it on delicate, in a bag, never machine dry it. I haven't had issues before but on one strap there's a cut-I need to fix it or it'll probably snap. I've never had this issue before. The cups seem relatively shallow, the bottom collapses. Sorry for rambling, but overall if you know you fit into a 32DDD for sure, this is a good bra to buy. Gotta watch out for the quality but overall it's pretty comfy. I wouldn't buy it again but only because the cup's too small and the band's too long/stretchy. Read more 372 more words
