The cups are covered with a smooth material and are thick enough to conceal nipples on a chilly day, but don’t add bulk or size. It gives a nice rounded shape, that I look for, and love. It’s extremely comfortable and gives a smooth look under anything I wear. The straps are a soft elastic and fully adjustable. The band is made of soft stretchy elastic that doesn’t itch at all, but can tend to stretch out from wear pretty fast. The elastic is evenly distributed along the top and bottom of the band, so there isn’t any digging in.

*This is one of my favorite go-to bras. I own this bra in several colors and patterns. While the band is a 32 and too big to start, it’s worth it to me to have the band taken in to provide a better fit.

I bought this "New Without Tags" off of eBay but it didn't look brand new when I got it. There are a couple little marks on it and a tiny little hole inside one of the cups, barely visible tho. Could just be from storage I guess. But it doesn't affect the functionality of the bra. I was looking for just a simple, basic, comfy everyday t-shirt type of bra in plain white. And that's exactly what this is!

The fit is a bit off and awkward, but it's wearable and pretty comfy I guess. But for a VS 32, the band seems pretty stretchy and runs kind of ... large, IMO. I have it on the tightest setting with the straps shortened all the way and the back of the band keeps riding up. Even tho I'm a 26/27" ribcage, I can typically get away with a VS 32 band. But this one seems to run on the larger side. The straps are not fully adjustable, but they're cute with a little touch of lace trimming the inside length of the strap, and they can be adjusted to cris-cross in the back. They could be just a hair inward more, but I always have that issue with strap placement. The gore isn't even touching my sternum (another issue I tend to have with VS, yet I keep going back even tho I know it's not the right, proper size! Lol). The cups on this are fairly wide and come out under my arms. They're def wider than on the Body By Victoria. And I'm getting "orange in a glass" with a touch of quad boobing if I scoop n swoop. I've only had this bra on for about 15 min so far and I feel like I need to keep yanking the band down and scooping the girls back up in the cup. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right. But it feels like this COULD be a very comfy bra...if it fit! Darn you again, Vicky! Very soft fabric, without all that padding! Just a very thin memory foam layer for modesty I guess, but my nipples are still showing thru a bit.

Overall, this bra is wearable, and it looks terriit isn't the best fit for me. I really need to stop buying from VS and just stick with my real 28G bras! Maybe it will work better if I take the band in but the cups will still be a bit too wide.

I’ve been looking for a nude push-up/push-together bra so I gave this one a shot. It works to a certain extent. But for me this bra has under wires that seemed to dig into my ribs. I think this is due to the band being too big for me. I’ll plan to take the band in like I do with most my bras in 32DDD to see if this fixes the issue. The cups are smooth with padding that gives a more pushed together fit with a gem on the center gore. The straps are two small skinny spaghetti straps that are separate till the back half where the adjuster is, then sewn together as one. The straps are fully adjustable. I feel the straps are a bit thin, for my liking, and would prefer a slightly thicker strap. The straps detach from the back making it possible to crisscross the straps in the back. The bad is smooth and the elastic evenly distributed along the top and bottom so there isn’t any digging in.

This is a very well made bra, and it fits well enough. I fill the cups well when I scoop and swoop. Major problem is this bra only comes in standard sizes, but the smallest band/biggest cup fits well enough for the money. Pretty and well made, I like that the cups are thick enough for pointy nipples.

Let's be honest. This bra was a filler. Sometimes when an old bra wears out, you just need to get something to throw on. It's pretty comfortable, there are no obvious issues, it technically fits.

Pros: stretchy band, no major issues, basic black bra.
Cons: too stretchy? Not great lift (doesn't feel particularly supportive around the center gore area. Probably because it's so short. VS describes this as a Demi but it would definitely qualify as a plunge in the full-bust market) Top edge of the cup, which used to lay flat, has started curling outward and shows under my clothes - this is an issue I often find with VS bras over time, and I think it has something to do with how the layers stretch over time.

Also, one wire has shifted in the channel so the end doesn't reach all the up to the end in the gore, which doesn't help the situation. I suppose it was not manufactured for longevity.

I'm 50-50 on this bra. It baaaaasically fits, but there are some tweaky things about it that make it undesirable. Let's break it down:

Pros: Soft, padded straps! AND the back clasp is also covered in a thin, soft padding, and the hook portion is long enough that the hooks don't ever touch my skin, if I wore it on the loosest hooks. It's kind of surprising how little things like that make a bra more pleasant to wear, as if it were some kind of super-genius technology. It's not. It's just soft fabric and padding. I've always found VS to be a bit ahead of the curve on ... things like this, despite their other flaws. Looks-wise, it's an inoffensive black lace bra. I really, really like the back clasps that attach the straps to the bra, allowing for standard or cross-back fit. They aren't just regular little hooks (risky business) but in fact have little pop-n-lock plastic clasps that seem pretty fool-proof. And since I'm one of those people whose pecs/armpits seem to always be irritated by the outer edge of the cups/straps, wearing a bra racer- or cross-back spares me this sort of chafing. So, kudos for the option and the mechanism, VS. Otherwise, pretty much every other part of the look/fit scores a "fine". It's fine.

Cons: I think it's time to face facts with this one. By and large, I don't. like. molded. cup. bras. First of all, I think it'd be much sexier if it weren't opaque lining beneath this fancy lace. More importantly, I just feel like they're so up in my business, trying too hard to change my shape, and more often than not they give me fit issues for it. In this case, since there's a discrepancy between my shape/size and the bra's molded cup, the gore doesn't tack properly. Since the band on this bra (and VS bras in general) is very stretchy, I could probably solve it by going down a band size and up a cup, but OH WAIT. THERE IS NO SMALLER BAND. OR BIGGER CUP. Sorry for the CAPSY, but what the ever-loving-eff Victoria's Secret? I am usually not the biggest-boobed lady in the room, and I'm already at the maximum cup size AND smallest band size?

This is madness. (This is Sparta?) Have we tried to petition VS to expand into the full-bust market yet? Because I'm sooooo tired of trying to half-ass a fit into a bra that would otherwise be fine.

I originally bought this in a 32DD and had to exchange for the 32DDD because I was getting some quadboob up top. After trying all sorts of bras at VS, I've determined I'm in between the 32DD and DDD. I have kept this bra in a 32 triple and I love the shape it gives me--very round, busty, not pointy. The fabric is really soft and the memory foam makes it comfy for a push up bra. I like it for every day and feel sexy in it too. My only complaint is that I feel the underwire poking at my ribs. I have adjusted the straps as tight as I can to get the bra up and off my ribs, but surely that is contorting the underwires and making them cut in even more. I have a roxie clip on order. I will try to tighten the band in that way and alter the straps if need be. It's a gorgeous bra. If it fits you, you'll love it!!

Darn you Vicky!!! I still can't understand why Victoria's Secrets refuses to expand their size range! They're so outdated, and it makes me very sad https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> This is the softest, most comfortable bra I have ever put on my chest!! Unfortunately, it's too small in the cups and a little too loose in the band (even on the tightest hook). The gore doesn't tack, it's not even touching my sternum. It's not completely unwearable, but I will have to keep readjusting throughout the day (pulling the band back down and scooping n swooping).

I love the memory foam lined cups, and the ... fabric is just SUPER soft! It's like a pair of fuzzy socks for your boobs. I'm really bummed this is too small. I'll still wear it though. I just thought it would be a much better fit since my Body unlined Demi fits in a 32DDD. And I really wanted just a plain, simple t-shirt kind of bra, NOT a padded push-up! Oh well, maybe one of these days VS will get with the times and make smaller bands beyond a 32 and larger cups past a DDD!

I bought this bra as a beautiful but comfy t-shirt bra. The majority of the cup is very smooth so it works under most shirts. The top and sides of the cup have lace and jewels so if your shirt is extremely tight then they might show the texture under a shirt, but otherwise it really works as a t-shirt bra. The band seems to be stretching out to me, but to be fair I have alternated between this bra and one other for the last 2 months because I don't have any others that are close to fitting and can't justify the expense of ... buying other bras for my rotation that also don't fit properly. Pros: absolutely gorgeous, color is light enough that it doesn't show under most light clothing, the fabric is quite comfortable, it's supportive without a block of push up pad in it that would hoist your boobs up to your chin. Cons: I don't think this is a problem with the bra but probably just with the fit because I bought the largest they had in the smallest band size, but the underwire in the cleavage pokes into the bottom of the center of my breasts so the gore couldn't sit flat if it wanted to. I assume this means that the cup is quite a bit too small. The poking isn't uncomfortable but it looks silly. Because the band is not the right size, I find myself having to bend over and pour myself into the bra because I have some spillage underneath throughout the day. And try as I might to pull everything from the middle back into the cup, it just doesn't work. I have a small bit of quad boob on top, but the real problem is the quad boob in the lower center of the cleavage area. I didn't even know this was a thing. My husband doesn't notice it but when I look down I see it in my cleavage. I guess in this area it would be more appropriately called "double cleavage" rather than quad boob, lol.

***Edited the bra measurements because I made a mistake on one of them the first time. Also added more photos showing the problems that I have with the way this particular bra fits (or doesn't fit) my body.

    • Goodness, 8.5" deep is very small compared to a lot of other 32F (DDD) bras! Do all VS bras run this small? I have never bought bras there as they only carry a limited size range.

Spillage underneath sounds unbelievably annoying. What do you think your true band size is? You look petite in the back, but there are brands that offer 28 bands and even 26. The choice of designs isn't terribly broad, but they're out there, and the prices are comparable to Victoria's Secret.

    • I'm not sure how the size compares to other bras labeled 32DDD or F because I have only tried this one and another of the same style also from VS. I had training bra sizes breasts (literally the all cloth triangle bras) after nursing 2 of my 4 children with nothing left but sagging empty skin. So I thought I was finished having children and had implants placed to fill the skin. That put me at a 32D (per the VS sizing ladies, although I now know that probau was still the wrong size.) I remarried and we had 2 more babies who I breastfed with the implants, and I had saggy skin but was living with it. My implants were 12 years old and I had capsular contracture. So I recently had them replaced and had to go larger due to the stretched skin from the pregnancies and nursing. My rib cage measures 27". The lady at VS who measured me after my surgery said that she thought I was a 30 or possibly a 28, but they didn't carry those. I felt so stupid when I bought those bras because she told me I was supposed to always start with the loosest set of teeth and tighten as it stretched out. Why don't they tell us this in middle school? I had no clue. I have always worn a band that was too big and just used the tightest closure possible.

I ended up getting this bra and another Dream Angels bra, same size. They both fit the same way although the other one I think has a little wider sternum section (blanking on the name of that now) but it does the same cutting into the bottom of the mid breast. I haven't measured that one but I assume it's the same. I couldn't wear their 32DDD push up bras without laughing hysterically at how much I looked like a cartoon of someone trying too hard so those went right back on the rack.

    • 1

I also get an attack of the giggles when a bra fits me too badly! lol! I'm glad I'm not the only one... other people seem to mostly get upset by it. I just find it so comical :-D

It sounds like you would be really comfortable in a 28 or 30, and there are LOTS of good choices in that range. Are you ready to shop for new bras, or not yet? If you are, the size calculator on this site is only a ballpark indicator, but the search by measurements feature is a godsend. The perimeter of your larger breast, taken lying down, is a decent guideline for the cup depth you want, and you can also search for a specific stretched band length (in your case I'd search for 28" or so).

    • PS the sternum section (between the breasts) is called bridge or gore. On this site and in most bra blogs it seems to be much more common to use the term gore.

    • PPS I'm in awe that you are a mom of 6 kids. My 2 girls are kicking my behind, figuratively speaking, and they're not even difficult children.

    • Oh Lord no! 4 kids. 2 from my previous marriage and then 5 years later 2 from this marriage. I may have written that wrong, lol.

Oh that visit to VS was pretty comical. My husband was never a boob man before but since I've had my corrective surgery he is suddenly obsessed. So all of those way too small bras that make you look like Jessica Rabbit, he was wanting to get just for private use lol. Umm, no thank you, lol.

I am wanting to get some bras that fit correctly but I'm kind of paranoid about making that leap and buying online and it not being the right size. This 32DDD is technically too small but before I brought the sales lady in the dressing room I was going to leave with a 32DD. I just didn't realize how they were supposed to fit. That is sad, but I guess most women aren't wearing the right size so most of us don't realize how it really should fit.

I actually found this site when I was searching for how to alter a bra band to shorten it and someone who had a tutorial was raving about all of the knowledgeable ladies here. Now that I'm here I see that there have been many mentions of EBay having options for buying some of the larger sizes at really low prices. I'm "watching" a few bras to see if I can pick up a few options for a decent price. I just have that silly paranoia that paralyzes me when I think about buying something online if I'm not 100% certain of my size. And then bras make it even harder since they aren't uniformly sized. I'm a chicken and a cheapskate at the same time. :)

The suggested starting point size this site gave me was 28G (us) and I know that is just a ballpark guess but I wouldn't know where I could try one on to see how it fits aside from just ordering online.

    • 1

You're in the US, right? Try Amazon. Free returns and exchanges. It makes the process a bit slow, but you have nothing to lose! On there, you'll be shopping mostly the mid-price British brands (typical range is $30 to 60). Parfait, Curvy Kate, Freya, Cleo, Panache.

A few hints on fit: Cleo often runs particularly tight at least at first, and it also runs a little small in cups as well, so if you find Cleo bras you want to try, I would suggest ordering 28 and 30 bands (so like 28GG and 30G). Freya bands run loose and stretchy, and are more generous in the cup, so you definitely want to start out with 28s there.

    • Thanks so much, Wendy! That is very helpful! I'm going to give it a try.

    • Good luck to you! I wore a 32DDD for years, and after my hip surgery last year, decided the pain from wearing what had become apparent was not the right size, in addition to my hip pain, was just too much. I found out I'm actually around a 26J in UK sizes, and my best bras are Comexim in a 55M/N or 60 L/M depending on if the 60s run tight. ( the band sizes on Comexim are based on centimeters) I hope you can find a bra that works for you and makes you feel like a million bucks-we all deserve that! =^__^=

    • Thanks Eternalheartcreations! Wow! That is a huge band difference! I'm glad you found something that worked better. I still can't believe that all or most stores don't carry all available sizes. I get that they might not sell them often, but geez Louise! At least they could carry 1 or 2 of them just in case they get people that need them. Wishful thinking I suppose. It used to be really hard to find any jeans smaller than a 3/4 when I was in high school and looked like I was from Ethiopia, but then they started carrying them more reliably, so maybe one day the stores will get on board! :)

Love the unlined lace demi, very pretty and feminie. The rhinestones on the gore add a nice touch. This bra is pretty comfy and fits almost perfectly. It seems to run a bit smaller than their other styles which is good if you usually wear a band smaller than a 32. It fits nice and snug and doesnt ride up, which usually happens on me with a 32 band. The only thing i don't like about this bra is that it gives me pointy boobs. I only wear for "special" occasions https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

If i cough or sneeze my nipple pops out! Lol. But its very comfy and the band seems to fit a little more snug than the Very Sexy line. I could still use a 30 or 28, but this will have to do in a 32. Love this bra! So pretty! And for some reason, this bra gives me much better lift and cleavage than my black Very Sexy (same style). Could be cuz i wear this one much less and it isn't stretched out like the other. I think a band size down or two would fit perfectly but VS doesn't go beyond a 32, still upset about that. Lol. We're not all "average" sized women. But this bra is pretty comfy and very cute!

Love this bra as an everyday bra. Great for under shirts, the cups on this style are very smooth. It does give a nice lift with ok cleavage. I just wish VS made bras with smaller bands than a 32 https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> It fit great when I first bought it but started off on the tightest hook. So now, after wearing the Bejeezus out of it, it's gotten much looser. I like how the back of the straps can be converted into a criss-cross or a halter. I just feel like the cups don't fit perfectly, may be cuz of the band being too lose. Not sure. Tried the 32DD and it was too small.

Since the 32DD of this model is my guilty pleasure comfort bra, even though the band is too big and cups are too small, I thought the 32DDD would be an improvement: same comfort, better fit, right? Noooope.

Somehow it's a worse fit?? Or technically maybe it is better, but it looks worse. I really notice the quad-boob here more. The edge of the cup now hits in a more awkward place, possibly because it's *almost* where it needs to be, but noticeably not. The cup *size* actually seems fine (the band is still too big, of course), but it's just a weird shape for me, slightly wide/shallow (I'm very projected), and plunge-y enough that my inner-full boobs want to roll right out of the cups and into each other.

its tight in the cups, but thats because i should be wearing a larger cup, that being said, i love this bra, the band has stretched slightly (less than an inch) the cup has support lines through it one up from the bottom center that ends just about at my nipple and the other goes horizontally across the nipple. the only negative is the straps are a little far apart for me and that makes them fall off my shoulders

This bra is more of my sister size, not even totally that, but it's really comfortable so I wear it when I'm just lying around the house and don't have to be out and about anywhere. The fabric is incredibly soft, definitely no problems with underwire poking.

The first time I wore it, the band felt wayyyy too tight, but after a wear or two it's loosened up a bit. Technically, I believe the cups are too small, but it doesn't seem to give me quad boob and there's no wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. Does VS run big?

I found this bra to be much bigger than the unlined demi, and although VS says it is "lightly lined" the memory foam padding is very thick. I had some gapping at the top after exhaling a few times. This is very soft and comfortable, but a poor fit, and too padded for me. Also, the ribbon trim and center bow definitely show through clothes.

This bra feels amazing. The band is comfortably snug, and has a soft foamy elastic, the straps are soft and foamy, and the back section with the hooks is extra soft and squishy. Unfortunately the cups have a little wrinkling in the bottom portion, and the lace and seems look a bit lumpy and conspicuous through my shirt. Perhaps it's just a little too loose. Will try a cup size down.
