My new favourite Scantilly bra! I've photographed it without the additional straps just for the purpose of showing the fit, but I love the versatility of the additional straps that can be clipped to the bra and also the matching brief to create a whole range of looks. The cups are a 3-part construction with vertical seams, giving that classic half cup lift with a rounded and super full shape which is my favourite. It runs small overall - I'm normally a 28G/30FF and the 30G in this fits like a glove.
How'd you compare it to Surrender regarding the cup depth? Would you say you're FoT? I'm just confused about what size to pick in this bra as Surrender was too big on top, and I oftentimes have this issue with CK bras. Thanks!
Orange_Kate sorry i don't come on here very often so miss my comments! the shape is completely different to surrender, with it being a half cup (surrender being a plunge) and i'd say it's much shallower. i didn't get on with surrender at all as it was just not the right shape for my bust and no matter what size i tried i always ended up with the top cup section being really gappy, even if the rest of it was fine or even too small. in terms of my shape, i'm quite evenly full (when i do the bend over check i have equal fullness each side of my nipple) but very firm, so when i wear a bra it definitely pushes my breast tissue up to be functionally FoT. if it helps, my best fit in surrender was a cup size down (so, 30F) :)
This used to fit like a dream, but unfortunately after weight gain causing a change in breast shape/density it no longer works for me. First, let me say what's good about this bra: it's unusual. The cup separation is small, and the gore low: very good for close-set breasts. The cups are pretty. Now, the bad: it's .wrong for my full on bottom shape. I get a lot of wrinkles in the top. However, the top elastic also cuts into my flesh. And I don't think it's supporting me very well. In the pics, I also see wrinkles under the arms...maybe b/c I was wearing an extender. It looks good on the models, but looks terrible on me. Oh well, another failed experiment.
Cleavage anyone? I'm FOB, but for even fullness, this would probably work. Also, the gore is pretty narrow, and you can make it more narrow by adding an extender on the bottom front.

Firm band that takes some breaking in. If in between bands size up. Gore came up a little high and pokey for me. Cute but not as "sexy" as I wanted to be as the overlay covers up too much on this size. In larger sizes it looks pretty good but it seems they didn't decrease the coverage for smaller sizes. The overlay feels kind of cheap, considering cutting it off. Seams on the cup are also uneven in some places, leading to wrinkled appearance even though the cup fits. I got it on sale and it is wearable but loses points for quality and would not repurchase.
Update: I cut off the overlay and I like how it looks a lot more.
I feel well supported in this bra. Band feels very firm and secure. It's comfortable and gives a smooth line under clothing. I can wear this all day for work without wanting to rush home and take it off. This is the 1st bra I have bought since remeasuring and I should probably have bought a cup size up, as there is a little overspill after scooping and swooping (my fault, not the bra)
Probably not suitable if you are very narrow across the shoulders, as being balcony style the straps sit wider apart. I'm able to wear this with quite low and wide scoop necks without the straps being visible and without looking overly booby.
I need to wear the straps fully extended to avoid them digging into my shoulders, so possibly not such a good choice for those with longer torsos.
First off: it's gorgeous! I have it in the red colorway, and this cool red shade looks really good on my fair skin. For some odd reason tags on the back were so scratchy that even trying this bra on was a challenge. Band is really stretchy and runs a little big, so I might need to alter it. Fabric and elastics are kind of flimsy. Cups definitely run big. I used to think Ellace is really projected for the size, and boy, was I wrong! There is a 1 cm difference in the cup depth between these two, the apex on Surrender's placed higher and its cups are in general taller. Thin straps around the cups are laying on the lace because of it. Oh and the top of the gore is itchy because of them. Sadly, something is always wrong with my CK purchases. I've made my Florence and Ellace work so now I'll have to do that for this bra. Why don't they fit me as is? So disappointing.
I tried this bra in the green color way, and it also ran big - I was usually wearing 32F or 32FF, and the 32F was too large. The boutique did not have a 32E, so I do not know if sizing down even more would have helped. I think I needed a bit more upper fullness as well as a bit more volume all around.
My local bra boutique owner told me she does not carry CK (and only a few Scantilly) because she finds the line does not work well on very many clients. I think many of their bras are quite lovely, but the few I have tried did not work on me.
AllyBra yeah, I think she was right! Even on CK's Instagram there are photos of ladies having various fit issues. Plus their sizing is so inconsistent... Which brands do you like the most?
Wow, this is a sexy bra! I don't think I would wear it outside the house except for on a date night. But, that is exactly why I bought it. Presents the ladies up front and at attention. It fits well and is surprisingly comfortable. I also bought the matching panties. They are high-waisted with a sheer back. A really lovely lingerie set.
This is a pretty standard Scantily half-cup - tall cups, quite shallow at the bottom, tall sides, good quality materials. The lace add-ons fit well, although I am somehow not too convinced by the look in real life.
My absolute favorite bra ! Yes it's hard to wear everyday because you have to choose the right clothes to hide it ... Buuuttt so so so comfy and my breasts look amazing in it !
I wanted to like this bra so bad!! The cups are so short that once I scoop & swoop, the cup doesn't even cover my nipple. The gore also doesn't tack.
Great cleavage and the boyfriend was very into it but I want to at least be able to wear it under my outfits for dinner. sadface.
The website I bought it from recommended going up a cup size so I ordered 32E instead of my usual 30E or 32DD (I have some 32DD CK Ellaces that fit great) but it still wasn't enough. Could maybe fit a 30F if the cup was taller.
My boobs are pretty high on my chest and these straps are way too short. The cup is too shallow and the wires are too low on the sides. Not flattering at all.
The reviews on the website I bought this from suggested going down a cup size. I knew Scantilly bras run small in the cup so I shouldn't have listened. Way too narrow wires and the cup is definitely too small.
I'm shocked at how badly this fit me. I almost feel like I just got a faulty one. I ordered this in my Curvy Kate size of 30DD (of which I own 6 so I am familiar with their sizing), which is consistent with Scantilly's size chart so technically I purchased the right size. The cups are oversized - very tall and much wider than my other CK bras of the same alleged size. The band size is accurate but the cups seem like they're 4 sizes too large. Most reviews I read about this bra before I purchased it said the cups ran small, which is not my experience. Quite disappointed as it seems well constructed and looks really nice on those in which it fits correctly.
