I was surprised to see that in 32HH it actually fits my 30JJ. The bra has loots of immediate projection, the cups are really deep, the band is snug. Actually this 32 band feels and measures like most 30 bands I own. Would definitely be too tight for someone who really needs 32 band. My soft tissue and very center-full breasts make some minor quadding towards center when I move, but it's nothing I wouldn't appreciate from a bra of this kind. Volume-wise the cups are just a spot on for me. I loooove the shade of this bra as it serves as a perfect nude for my pale skin. I also prefer wearing the halter strap at front instead my neck: it looks more interesting and feels more comfortable to me this way. The shape this bra gives under closing is very full-and-natural(in a good sense), and without clothing it emphasises all the curves, so it's my favourite bedroom piece so far!
Wowza this bra is hot. I ordered off of my normal size (30Jish/ Comexim 60P), because it was an unbeatable price on breakoutbras. I had read that the cups ran one to one and a half sizes large, which gave me hope of enough room in the cups, even if the band is a little looser than I prefer. It is a very light weight mesh. The color I got is similar to my own skin color, so the noticeable aspect when wearing the bra and (also smoking) panties are the black lines. I like the cutout at the bottom of the gore, ...which reminds me of my panache quinn, as well as the cool ring holding the band together there. There are similar golden rings attaching the straps to the cups and the band, There is also a bonus decorative black strap, which I have shown in my pictures being worn across my chest or behind my neck. The panties also have very unique cutouts across the front. I ordered in my normal size medium, and they fit great, without pinching in and causing rolls which some British underwear tend to do.
As you can see in the pictures, the cups do not fit perfectly. There is both too much width (darn it UK bras!), but unexpectedly some looseness up top. This does not commonly happen to me, I am guessing this may be a more top full friendly bra. Most mysteriously of all is where the cups cut in to my tissue in the center. I am certainly center full, and maleable, but this is something that rarely happens, I think it may be a tension issue between the black outlining material and the beige mesh of the bra, not really sure. Anyhow, I am looking forward to wearing this on my next date night, I know I will hear no complaints about the minor fit issues!!! If you can wear any of the sizes available on breakout bras, I highly suggest ordering a set!
The reviews on the website I bought this from suggested going down a cup size. I knew Scantilly bras run small in the cup so I shouldn't have listened. Way too narrow wires and the cup is definitely too small.
I'm ~ a 28GG-H/30G-GG, projected, pendulous, even and center full, I think tall roots not sure tho
The quality of this bra is rediculously average, considering it cost me over 50€. I still regret that I didn't send it back in time, but I was just mesmerized by how cool it looks and the fact that the unpadded, deep plunge cut suits me so well. It's the only wearable bra for me at the moment but it makes me feel horrible because the cup is slightly to tight and the fabric is so damn scratchy and stiff. *sigh* Also, I have this bra since last month and handwashed ...it carefully a few times but there are already loose threads and the back of the band, where the bra closes is kinda crooked, it gets a little bit more out of shape with every time I wear it. I rarely see this, even in the cheapest bras. (See pictures.)
TL;DR: Not bad, quality dosen't justify price, good fit but cheap, scratchy material.
Little Update: I don't know why I didn't write it in the original review but the wire gives me red marks almost immediatly after putting the bra on and it gets really uncomfortable the longer I wear it. I could be wrong but I read somewhere that Curvy Kate/Scantilly bras have nickel in them and I have a nickel allergy, so that makes sense. I haven't worn this bra in months, surprise surprise. This is a very pretty bra that is perfect to wear on hot days. Unfortunately, I have some issues with the shape of the bra on me. I am not sure if the bra is too big for me and the cups are too small but the gore doesn't tack. The wires are a touch too wide and I have some wrinkling in the cup. I wish that this bra fit me better because if it did, then I would purchase it over and over again. One thing to note, is that even though the wires are too wide on the side for me I have not had ...an issue with this bra slipping out of my IMF, so that is a huge jump in terms of the fit of Curvy Kate bras for their customers with deep breasts.
I really like the strap around the neck and I love the color. I just am not a good fit for this bra. The bra band has stretched out some for me, and I think that it provides decent support, but please take note that if you have a flared rib cage or a V shaped rib cage like me the gore on this bra will possibly hurt. Because my rib cage is broad and most of the fat on it is in my stomach, the gore will stab you if you don't have a lot of padding there. Now that the gore doesn't tack on me at all, I no longer have that problem. Read more 147 more words
I received this bra today in both 32HH and 34HH. I am a 32J in CK, so for once more i had to choose my sister size. Lucky me 32HH was a spot on, so 34HH will go back to the store. I loved the uplift of the bra. Its a must have. Keep in mind that scantilly plunges come very true to size so better size down a cup.
