    *MY INFO* Mar 13, 2020
    - 32FF/G(recommended by abrathatfits calculator)
    - narrow root
    - projected
    - slightly full on top
    - center fullness

    *REVIEW*

    - BAND: too tight. better for 30 band size

    - CUP: Whether the cup is too wide, the wire is too long, or the shoulder strap is too far away, my armpit is very painful. it is closed and shallow cup. The size was right when I just wore it (the armpit was still painful). After scoop and swoop, it makes quad boobs and wrinkles under the cup.The sides of the cup are so wide that it feels like it's left over. Totally not for my breast shape.

    - DESIGN: As the name shows, it is non-padded. It looked pretty in the picture, but when I received it myself, the shape of the cup was different from what I thought. it was a little disappointing.

    Didn't fit

So there's basically no info on this bra, but it was pretty. Reviews on BN's site say that it runs small in the cup, so I ordered a 38J.

It didn't fit well, but it wasn't bad? Like, it was wearable. It's wide and shallow at the bottom, but I filled out the rest of the cups okay. It's just not very flattering. It doesn't give much lift, and the bra itself doesn't look very nice while on. Gore is very wide and didn't tack, and the band is waaaay stretchy.

I really do love the Spice colorway, though. It's a really lovely dark brown-purple-red. Almost like a muted burgundy I guess? It's really nice. Not nice enough to keep, though.

    Hasn't set fit

My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

Cute colorful print is what drew me to try this bra out, that and also trying the Pour Moi brand for the first time.

General impressions from trying it out is that this sports bra is cute and seems well made. Nice wide elastic straps that can be worn crossed and are fully adjustable. Interior lining is very lightly padded, wires seem comfy, as does the band length on loosest hooks on me.

Only reason I'm not keeping this bra is because I'm searching for something more for higher impact activities at the ... moment and this is definitely not it. I get a lot of bouncing, much more than my 32DDD - Natori » Power Yogi Bra (731050) when I do the bounce test (running in place, jumping). I would consider this bra more suited to lower impact activities, I don't think I would use it for medium impact workouts either. It was a disappointing try on for me since I figured wired sports bra offer should offer more stability (?), obviously this one did not for me. I'm not an expert by any means, so I cannot pinpoint what it is about it construction/fabric that makes it less supportive than what it looks like, but this was my experience with it. Hopefully at least these measurements and review will be helpful to someone else!

    Didn't fit

I got this bra from an online shop in my country that stocks Pour Moi up to J-cup (they don't go any higher in any style). I decided to try their most popular style so I could get an idea of the sizing and fit.

The St. Tropez full cup is a 3 part cup construction that looks more like a balconette than a full-cup. It has quite narrow wires and they don't distort very much. The cups are deep but the most depth is at the apex so they can give a pointy look. They are quite shallow at the bottom and at the center.

    My fit ... issues:
It's obviously too small in the cups. There is not enough room at the center and also on bottom and I get some quadboob in this bra. The band fits nicely and it's quite stretchy. I found that the bra gives decent support, not like a Panache or Bravissimo bra but better than CK. What I like best about it: the wires are just right for me! I'm surprised that this bra has such narrow wires! I don't know if I should try a 34J and check if the cups fit better but I would have to take the band in on that, since the 32 band feels already stretchy enough.

I think I remember years ago when people first started buying this on Figleaves they mentioned it ran very small in the cups. They are also a bit cheaply made IMO, I have one Pour Moi and the seam placement isn't exactly haute-couture-level haha. So, I agree this cup is a bit closed/ shallow for you but given our conversations about changing size and shape and the anxiety of sizing down, it's enlightening that you can now almost fit in a particularly small 32J cup volume!
I think if you used something to reinforce the band a bit, then loosened the straps more and took barbaric measures (i.e. pull like a maniac) to stretch the cup edging, you could probably get this to contain the whole boob and possibly improve the apex alignment situation (which is likely a bit responsible for pointiness).

    • AprilGoulding yes isn't it pretty!?

wendybien I faced my fear of too small cups and went with my bra calculator size of 32J. I think a 32JJ would be better but I'm also still at my PMS size. I can keep this until next week and see if it fits better once I'm at my "smaller" size again. You really think I could make this work? Or the 34J?

    • 1

alisa if you're at PMS size yes I'm pretty sure it will be a workable situation at low tide! This really isn't far off. And the fact the wires are a good match is unusual enough to give it another chance next week!

My shape is low set, soft, slightly pendulous, and narrow and short rooted. This bra was a shape mismatch, and it was also a size too small.

The quality of the bra was good in terms of construction, but the material felt cheap to me. The pattern of the material was pretty though. Band felt true to size.

I mean, it's ok. I want to love this bra. I admire the soft fabrics and delicate colors, but the size, underwire width and shape, and strap width are wrong. The overall shape is not east-west, but it's not super forward either. The bottom of the cup is a bit shallow. Buuut I'm so stubborn, I might just try this in the next size down. Also, there are A LOT of absolutely beautiful color options, so if I can make this work, I would be happy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This is TIGHT for a 30!! Max stretch of 28.5 before the underwires start warping. Wires ... are super duper U shape, like almost a half circle. As they are now, they're being pulled an inch behind my roots, directly into the space between two ribs. Feels horrible!
As I ordered this from Brastop, I'll probably try to exchange it for a 30DD. Hopefully, with the wires not being as wide, the band won't pull them into my ribs, and the band won't be too short. I'm losing weight but discovering my boobs are higher and at a wider part of my ribs, sooo I don't know what I need as a max stretch. :/ The wire shape will always be too U for me, but hopefully this can be a comfy and pretty lace bra to wear that matches my skin tone in 30DD.
*Edit: they don't have 30DD. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Will just have to return. Sad!!!

This bra would be cute if not for the shape. The darting is too low, so the apex of my breasts points slightly down. It's also just slightly too small on me -- the top of the cup cuts into my larger breasts a bit. The material feels solid, at least.

This is a great everyday bra, not a T-shirt bra so no good under smooth, tight clothing. Bought in beige. Fabric is utilitarian, not luxurious or particularly smooth. Fits great. I put in a light liner for the cups for coverage.

Over time, the gore became very uncomfortable. I bent the wires out to no avail. Gave away bra before it was worn.

    Didn't fit

I bought this bra at a boutique. I wanted something lacy that would be comfortable for regular wear. I'm starting my bra collection over in a new size. I tried on the Imogen Rose along with a few Curvy Kate, Panache, and Freya styles. This one had the loosest band; the Panache styles had the tightest. The bra fits in the cup. It's not my favorite, but it was $20 less than some of the others I tried on, so I got it. The bra is a little torpedo-ish for me and because the band is big, I'm wearing it on the 2nd hook to make sure it ... stays in place. The gore floats a little at the top because of my close-set breasts.

I did have to make a very minor adjustment to it - the side boning is cheap, overly flexible plastic that bent too much instead of staying flat. The sales person said that this was an issue with some Pour Moi styles and that they usually suggest taking the side boning out. The boutique had an on-site seamstress who handled bra repairs and alterations, so they took out my boning and didn't charge for the extra service.

Here are my thoughts after wearing it a couple of days: The band is definitely too big because it rides up in the back, even on the second hook. The shape is not the most flattering. I feel like it makes my breasts pointy, but also makes them slope downward. I really prefer rounded shapes. This is the only bra where I've noticed my nipples come far above the mid-seam of the bra. It looks a little weird to me. That said, the embroidery is pretty on the bra and it is lacy/sexy.

For me, it's very meh. I can wear it on a tighter hook, but it's really not a bra I love. I might consider taking in the band a tiny bit so I can get longer wear out of it.

This bra is a wire-free feat of structural engineering: THE GORE TACKS. Very projected compared to other wire-free bras. The straps are a tad wide-set for me and the edges of the cups dig in to my arms but that's almost always the case so I won't mark it down for that (but I won't wear it either). There's a noticeable amount of padding but it's distributed well.

Unfortunately it's ultimately unwearable due to the coating on the hardware which squeaks loudly with any sort of movement. If the company replaces the hardware this would be a fantastic bra...for someone else.

    Didn't fit

Oh dear - this bra was a walking disaster for me.

I'll start with the good. The bra itself is fairly physically attractive, the outer cup has a nice satin layer and the flower print is reasonably crisp (the tiniest bit fuzzy if you're REALLY inspecting it close). The straps also have a nice ruching on them while still being fully adjustable, a big bonus for a lot of people. The bow details are tasteful as is the tiny centre jewel on the gore.

Now for the rest: first, this band is FIRM. 32G is my usual unlined size in Panache, and I had to use an extender just ... to get this guy on. The inside of the cups are regular mesh which doesn't feel so great. This bra squeaks like crazy! I'm not entirely sure why but it's annoying enough that if the fit was great I'd still be hesitant.

As for the actual fit on me, it ended up being quite a bit too wide, a little bit too shallow, and not even remotely enough centre fullness for me. It's somewhat closed on top, I have even fullness + height and it quadded - I'm undecided as to whether this was also a cup size too small, but I think the wires were so wide on me that this wouldn't have helped. The end result of all of this made me look like I was wearing a binder rather than a bra, with my tissue squashed upwards and outwards. Yet, it somehow still managed to look pointy while quadding. My boobs were pretty confused, I have to say.

This would be a great bra for someone, probably someone who is a lot shallower than I am.

Me: narrow roots, even to functionally FOB, a little center heavy, projected, pendulous, other adjectives

Tldr: projection and lots of it, at least a size big in band and possibly in cup, moderate wire hardness and length, fabric may bother some folks

This is my second try with this bra. Again, I want to note that the embroidery on the outside of the cup can be felt through to the inside of the cup, probably because it does not have a second layer of mesh lining. Imo, this is likely to bother anyone with sensitive skin or sensory issues. I found it to be a little scratchy, and I ... think it would soften up after a few washes.

This fits much better than a 34J. There's still some gaping at the top of the cups and the band runs big; after wearing it just a few times I can comfortably wear it on the tightest hooks. I might try it in a 32J just for science!, but with an underbust measurements of ~35", I can't see that ending well. Fwiw, I am conservative with my stretched band measurements.

Despite the loose band, there's still a TON of projection. I need lots of room at the wire and this bra has it. Thanks to the gore height, I don't spill out at the center either. The wires are a little wide and long so the gore is a softer tack, but the wires aren't pokey either. They aren't as hard as Panache, but not as soft as Curvy Kate. I would prefer them a little harder for fit, but honestly? Softer wires are kind of really comfortable.

The only real issue with this bra is the weird shape I get from the diagonal seam and/or the elastic lining at the top of the cup. I have other bras with this type of three part construction, but they don't have the elastic piece and DO have a second layer of mesh lining in the top of the cup, or solid laminate fabric (e.g. Panache Fern and Sculptresse Flirting). I'm not sure if this would work better for someone who is more FOT than I am or not - can anyone chime in? I do think that my soft tissue makes it a little more dramatic.

I've included a picture showing the bra underneath a thin t-shirt. I think the weird shape is still visible, but I'm looking for it. The good news is that underneath my heavy polyester blend work shirts + tank tops, it's not visible at all.

This bra has a lot of things I'm looking for: room at the wire, at least a 4” gore, and a full cup or balconette style I can rely on at work. I move around a lot, and I feel confident that my boobs will stay in place with this bra. Pour Moi? is one of the cheaper brands in this size range; given the sizing inconsistencies I can only recommend trying them from a retailer with a good return policy. I picked up this particular one from a eBay seller for ~$20. Thanks for reading!

What a pretty bra and pretty colour! However it was way too small! I was surprised as I was told 38FF is a sister size of 36GG but the center core was no way near laying flat on my chest. Ofcourse the bra itself may run small, but don't think so as I also had Tutti Rouge's Nichole on 38FF and that was also slightly small. Not as much as this though. Bought them around same time so I hadn't tried the TR before buying this. But I will stay away from 38FF from now on. Gonna exchange this to 38G to see if it fits better as I do love the colour and look of this bra, Even those MASSIVE bows it has! Also I can't say much about how my boobs look and how the bra fits and feels as I only tried it once to see that it does not fit me.

I am in love with this colorway and so sad that it is a little bit too small. (In fact, I kept it when I was substantially bigger in the cup, and it was a much poorer fit on me, just because of how much I love the look of this bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> )

Band is snug for a 32, and firm. Cups are SHALLOW, so you may want to size up in the cup, or cry and relent if you're like me and need more projection than this bra was built to offer.

This is such good value, I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me on a few levels. The cups feel too shallow, the band too stretchy, the gore too separate and the lift just not good enough. It's very pretty, but feels too basic a construction for my soft, somewhat pendulous breasts. For smaller cup sizes or those needing less support than I it could work well. Despite its intricate appearance it gives a good appearance under clothing, the upper lace lying flat against my breast tissue despite the other problems, and the colour is beautiful. Very vivid yet elegant.

Another Pour Moi bra for which I had high hopes, in my search for a plain, everyday, no-frills bra.
    And another disappointment.
I think I can only describe it as... sad.
Sad fabric: seemed kind of cheap, it looked worn and began pilling right out of the package. I almost felt embarrassed sending it back.
Sad colour: a weird nude, with greyish tones.
And above all, sad shape. My boobs were suddenly in front of my elbows and looked worse than wearing no bra. Side panels... really?
However, it seemed to fit ok, except for slightly too-wide wires, and seems like it could be a comfortable bra.

  19. St Tropez Balconette Bra (7711)

This is definitely too small for me in the cups, but it's been my favourite bra for ages for a few reasons:

    - It's the lowest coverage I've found from a UK brand in its size - I feel a bit frumpy or caged-in in most other 30Fs I've tried, but with this, the cups and side panels aren't so tall, which also means it doesn't dig into my armpit like most bras do!
    - The top edge of the cup is really open so it can accommodate some extra volume with no cutting in at all
    - The wires are really firm so they don't stretch out at all when ... you put the bra on, and they lay flat against my sternum despite the cups being too small.
    - The gore is the perfect height: it's supportive without digging in at all, and without compromising the low coverage
    - The gore is really narrow - the underwire channels are immediately next to each other at the top
    - The wires are amongst the narrowest I've found in my size range typically available in the UK - still not as narrow as I need, but way better than everything else I've tried from Figleaves, and MUCH narrower than the only other Pour Moi I've tried, 30F - Pour Moi » Amour Padded Bra (1500)
    - The straps are the perfect width apart for my small frame
    - It's still in brilliant shape after 18+ months of near-daily wear (it's been my only wearable bra for so long!) and has even survived several machine washes (I know I shouldn't!) - it's still super supportive and the band is still snug. I'm amazed really.

The one thing I dislike about it - and I've never come across this with another bra - is that it creaks. All. The. Time.
Weird, I know. I'm not even entirely sure which bits of it are creaking, but they continue to do so with every move I make, even after the aforementioned 18+ months of wear and machine-washing!

Unexpected audio aside, I reckon this is a really good choice for someone looking for low coverage, narrow(ish) wires and a narrow gore. And the more I think about it, the more I'm amazed at the value given how much wear I've gotten out of it - it's still going strong, too!
