A beautiful bra by Pour Moi but sadly, a little small on me. The band was TTS but the cups definitely run a little small and I am not sure going up a cup size will fix the fit for me ---> insert sad face 😔 The wires are a little wider than I am used to so I get a more east west shape plus flattening. Weirdly my smaller side is giving more quadding than my larger side. Not visible from the front but for those who like this bra, I recommend your regular band size and size up in the cup. I am a FOB, soft and pendulous shape for reference. Thankfully this was on sale so I will keep it as returning to Brastop is too expensive. If another color goes on sale I may try the cup size up.

Bikini season has started and Flamenco has been beckoning me since summer 2015.. The vibrant print, the retro style, the quirky bow - so cheerful! So I jumped on it in a recent Pour Moi sale, got it for £11,60.
This is quite a short longline, the shortest part is just an extra 3 cm under the wires. The 3 part padded cups are shaped to give a somewhat pointy vintage-y silhouette, that I happen to like. It's too shallow for me so the gore floats, this style stops at G while I could have used a 32GG. But for an afternoon on the beach or by the pool, I ...think it's fine!
The 32 band seems true to size, while in other Pour Moi 32 bands I've experienced a tighter fit. For a bikini it fits very comfortably though; and in swimwear I generally prefer to size up from my normal 30 band (ribcage measures 76 cm / 29.9 inch snug).
Some minor flaws: The removable straps are a bit short (not a regular problem for me). So I wanted to make a cross-back but that won't happen. Also, the clips where the straps attach cannot be trusted. They randomly decide to detach by themselves - so I'll definitely add some stitches. Lastly, the short longline band tends to fold under the cups. No disaster but it can look frumpy and rubs a bit.
However the colours are so rich, I love the print, it is well-finished and the quality seems fine. Matching tie side briefs I bought separately on Figleaves for £5. They fit well in size 14 (forgiving fit because of the side ties).
All in all I really like this piece of swimwear and I'll surely enjoy it this summer ☀️
I'm still trying to get used to 30 bands. After wearing 32s and even 34s for so long, 30s seems a really tight, at first. However this one feels all right to me. My breasts are tall with wide roots and full on the bottom and sides, and that shape seems compatible with this style. I'm a sucker for lace, even if it isn't the most practical under clothing. I have a small amount of quadding in this, which I think is due to the padding maybe. Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with it all in all.
This is super cute! The hooks seem to be straining a little though, you might want to throw on an extender and this could also help with the quadding. Were your 32s riding up your back? If not, there is no reason to wear bands as tight as you can tolerate--you only want to go as snug as you need to get a secure fit. Leaner and/or more muscular people often need a looser band as there is no protection over sensitive ribs or muscle tissue, unlike a fluffier person. Some people mistakenly believe that buying bras that are too tight at first extends the life of the bra, but the "wearable life" you gain is canceled out by the wear caused by the strain on an overly tight band--the elastic will stretch faster, shortening wearability time.
Thank you wendybien , I think I might do that! No need to strain the poor bra until it burst. This one definitely feels a bit more snug than my Parfait By Affinitas Fiona bra! And for the most part, I believe my 32s to be keeping everything right and tight in the rib area (The only time they rode up really is when I had the completely wrong cup size) Only one of them was too loose. I noticed if I shimmied side to side in one of my gap body ones, I could feel the band moving too. It actually was kind of fun! Needless to say that one is gone! I will definitely look into getting an extender though! Thank you for the advice!
I just ordered a Pour Moi Amour bra, the unpadded version. They're so pretty I hope it works for me!! :) One thing I did notice immediately was that in your 3/4 view photo, it appears your breast root is significantly higher than the underwire. Does this bra have push-up pads in the lower portion? If not, I suspect there's a bit of empty space below your breast inside the cup. If you try pushing it up so the underwire sits directly in the IMF, does it want to stay there? If it stays, it should solve the quadding issue, but overall it looks too shallow for your breast shape and it will continually slide down to sit too low on your chest. The bra appears to be trying to flatten your breasts into the chest, rather than lifting and supporting. Not good! Even if your roots are wide, since you're FOB, you'll need some bras with more immediate projection near the underwire, that should eliminate empty space at the bottom of the cup. Hopefully that all made sense and this helps!! :)
Slava-Zone I am such a sucker for cutesy lace, but anyway! The bra does indeed have padding in the lower portion! Thank you for your observations, I did think it sat a little low on my chest! But I didn't consider that and the bra shape together, and the padding together! I will definitely keep my eye out for things with more space at the bottom! For some reason I'm convinced I'm shallow, but I have to keep reminding myself that I am not really that shallow. Thank you very much for your help!
I thought I was shallow for a long time too. I have quite splayed breasts so they kinda hide in my armpits until I lean forward or pull them forward, then I'm like "oh! i DO have boobs!" Finding bras with enough lower projection can be tough, but most padded and molded bras are shallow, so they can almost be entirely ruled out. The padding is supposed to push up, but if breasts are firm or very FOB, they just push the bra down! Yay gravity haha. An alternative if you really like push-up is getting a bra with enough lower projection, and make sure the top of the cup is very open, then put a separate pad in the bottom of the cup (foam cookies, silicone or gel pads, even a rolled up sock works!) and it should give a good, rounded push up effect without sitting low on the chest or having the top edge of the cup cut in. Slava-Zone Ahh good to know! My chest is both firm and full on the bottom, so I see where the kinda clinging to the bottom of my chest, smashy smash look comes from! I used to think my chest was really east west, but I realized that it was more a by product of wearing too small cups. (I used to wear 32Bs, then reluctantly switched to 32Cs...then found bratabase) I'm not really wedded to moulded or push up. I do really like plunges though as they tend to be tall enough for me. For some reason, I have this irrational fear of unlined bras... I've seen some lovely ones, but I just think bah your sad little chest with leave those unlined cups withered and empty...but anyway I digress! Thank you so much for the tips! This place has been WAY more helpful than any store I've been visited!

Slava-Zone Thank you! I really appreciate that! In a world so full of misinformation about bras, its so nice to have good information! I was actually just explaining this to someone in my program. This woman was making fun of another woman, because the woman said she was a C cup. My colleague was convinced that there was no WAY the woman could be a C cup. I told her that its merely a 3 inch difference between bust and ribs. Cup size appearance and volume is based on the band and cup size. Its not static. Not all Cs have the same volume. Despite this she went on about how the other woman's chest is so flat, that even if her C cup fit she was clearly just vanity sizing to feel better about herself....what..... Some people will never have a bra that fits, because despite all the information out there they are determined to ignore it.
This model in this size was (at least it was two weeks ago -- that bit of information seems to have disappeared now) indicated to have either a similar cut or similar measurements to one my strict recommendations (I'm guessing either the Cleo Marcie Balconnet in 34G or the Minnie, or possibly the Panache Jasmine Balconnet in 34GG). While the band does not ride up at all, leaves fairly deep indentations in my skin and occasionally squeezes my ribcage too tight, I still can easily fit a whole hand under the band. And it mostly feels okay. Then, I don't know if this part is ...important or not, but I also occasionally notice the band actually rolling up underneath the underwire in front. No idea what that means. The cups, however, are definitely a little too big. There is always at least a little wrinkling and puckering in the top half of the cups. Sometimes it seems like adjusting the straps to fix this only exacerbates it and increases the chance of the band riding up. And then I'm not sure what kind of fit issue this indicates, but I've been noticing a lot of chafing from the top corners of the cup the past few days. I also definitely see less cup wrinkling when that's happening. Overall, this feels like the closest thing to a bra actually fits since I started using Bratabase, and possibly the closest ever. Update: The past week or so I've been experiencing a growing pain in my ribs just about where the band sits on my right side. It started as a stinging sensation but has progressed to a definite ache. The weird thing is there's no physical evidence of injury when I look -- no scrapes, bruises, etc. I'm working on getting new recommendations now. If you can't find a bra in your strict recommendations at a decent price point or whatever, is it better to turn to not-strict recommendations or to the models that are said to have the same measurements or same cut as a strict recommendation?
December update: The pain subsided and has returned once or twice, but only briefly. I've gained 10-15 lbs since August, so I now entirely fill the cups and have no complaints about fit, yay! I really wish this bra would fit better but alas, I concede defeat as this is the larger cup to my other try! It's just not made for my soft and pendulous shape. If you like this bra it will fit a firm and more round shape. The gore does not tack, I have quadding on my larger side and the wide wires flatten and give me an east west shaping. Other than not suiting my shape this bra has very pretty details in the lace overlay and strapping that are very nice for the price of this bra. So if you have the right shape, it's definitely worth looking into as Pour Moi has many colors in this Obsession style! 💕👌👍

I always thought Elomi Caitlyn was a "wide wires" bra, but compared to this Por Moi, is is narrower and deeper. I'll have to think about that.
Pour Moi has not sized up to the larger cups very well at all! Elomi does a better job of increasing their sizing cup wise. My one Elomi I have in a FF is the same cup width but much deeper cups. Some brands do not size up well and Pour Moi is one.
It’s a beautiful bra but it really shows through t-shirts. I personally don’t really care about this but I know it’s important for a lot of people. It’s not the best fit for me but after some alterations it’s good enough to wear. The gore was too tall and wide for me and I’ve made it narrower and trimmed down the underwires in the middle so they can’t tack on breast tissue anymore. I need more immediate projection myself but I would rate it as having average immediate projection. The wires are a bit wide for me but I would also rate those as average width. The cups are quite short which is good for my short roots. The straps are set a bit far apart for me so I have to tie them in the back to avoid the straps falling off my narrow sloping shoulders.
Takeaway; Shallow cups While this bra seemed to fit at first, the bottom of the wires dug into my rib cage after wearing for a few hours. I had spillage and some quadboob at the top and I’m FOB! It’s a pretty bra and definitely gives cleavage but it looks super weird under a shirt. Just too shallow for me.
I was looking for a bra to replace my Curvy Kate Dreamcatchers as I had gained some weight and resized from a 36FF to 38F. I also needed something with a lower gore as I still have some slight tissue migration that has created a little more center fullness that was causing pain with my CK's. This bra is very comfortable with the gore tacking perfectly (no more purple marks). The wires are softer than CK and that has been a bit of an adjustment but overall I'll stick with the Rebel until something doesn't work anymore. I currently have this bra in 5 colors; Petrol, Pink, White, Black, and Khaki. I'm on the look out for more colors to expand my collections.
Decent quality, bra is quite pretty- the main reason of purchase. Look of bra is pretty but the material is not super smooth like cotton. This is not to say wearing would cause any discomfort, but the look seems almost semi-plastic, hence the "Good" rating of Appearance & quality. The band is bigger than ordinary 30 bands, and verges on 32. Comfort rating is also, "Good" as it was decent enough but as the band was on the loose side, and the bra did not give a, "WOW, AHMAZING! " feeling. I am not of this bra size, which is why I am selling despite it not having been worn, only tried. For somebody else, this bra would probably be more of an, "EXCELLENT", depending on style preference. I finally decided to take the plunge with Pour Moi . Their bras are pretty, affordable, and come in a variety of styles. I picked St. Tropez because I've realized recently that I have some inner/center-fullness and benefit from a taller gore, and I'm really in need of a bra I can move around in at work.
I have no complaints about the quality of the bra. It's certainly not made from luxury materials, but it doesn't feel cheap either. I would compare it to my Cleos. The fully adjustable (!!) straps are lightly lined with a soft material (felt?); not lined as well as Panache ...bras in GG+ cup sizes, but certainly an improvement over the jack squat you get for lining in a Curvy Kate bra. One thing to note about the construction, at least for this particular model and colorway, is that the embroidery is mirrored on the inside of the top portion of the cup. The fabric and thread is pretty soft, but could easily bother someone with sensory issues and/or sensitive skin. I think the bottom portion of the cup has an extra layer of mesh that the top portion does not.
The band is close to TTS, maybe slightly big and certainly stretchy. If you are in between band sizes I would choose your smaller size. There was plenty of room at the wire and quite a bit of projection...especially considering the only thing that really matters in this review: the fact that this bra runs at least a cup size big. Seriously. I am comfortably a J cup, and having been a GG-J cup for most of my adult life, putting on a bra that is huge in the cup is a novel experience. It was big all over. The gore wouldn't tack, I could stick my hand in the outside of the cup, and poke at all the loose fabric at the top of the cup. I'd say I filled out the bottom of the cup fairly well, and again, there really was quite a lot of projection considering how big it was.
I think the wires are somewhat soft, but it was hard to tell with all the other fit issues.
I've reordered in a 34HH - I'm hoping for less cup volume and a similar or slightly shorter band. Some colorways are on pretty deep discount at Figleaves and on eBay, and on sale but not as cheap from Bare Necessities, so it's a good time to try. Overall I'm glad I finally gave this brand a chance and I'm hopeful about the 34HH!
I've read a handful of reviews saying it ran true to size (there aren't many reviews in general out there), but this about lines up with my experience. Mine ran about a full band size big and 1-2 full cup sizes big as well. Which color did you get?
This bra is the midnight colorway, a dark blue or navy color. The 34HH I have on the way is the mint colorway. I was hoping to stick to the same colorway but I'm on a budget and wanted to stick with what was on sale.
I would say it's fair to describe the band as TTS but a lowly candidate for getting stretched out. The cups, not so much.
I'll probably not write a full blog review of this top as I'm going to list it after finishing this short review. I've been on a desperate search for a white halter bikini top to wear with my Lilly and Lime bottoms, and when I saw this one on sale on Asos I gave it a shot. Partly because it was the only white halter available anywhere I could find, I was that desperate, and partly to satisfy my own curiosity about Pour Moi's swim tops. How bad can they *really* be?
I've always heard PM tops run small so initially ordered a 32F, which swiftly ...got exchanged because it was enormous in every possible way. Despite still not fitting, this top wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The material is sturdy and soft, and the white is definitely NOT see through when wet. The wires are narrower than I thought they'd be. The band is TTS and the cups run big. Really, they do. Maybe not all PM tops do, but the Splash halter top runs big. I probably could have done a 30E in it. They are too tall for my shorty short boobs at 6.25" tall and there's noticeable gapping on both sides. The ruffle trim at the top kind of hides it, but not really. So either it runs big or I've shrank a lot more than I thought I had.
The cups are molded and have graduated push-up padding in the bottoms, which is less thick than, say, department store push up padding. Naturally this makes the cups too shallow for me, but again - my standards for bikini tops are lower than bras. Everything seems very sturdy and well made, and if you are a large 30F or a 30FF looking for a va-voom sexy swim top that'll match any pair of bottoms, this is your jam. This bra let me dow so badly. It's a terrible construction and very unflattering, which is why I think there are so few reviews out there. No support, no structure, and the straps are fully and very elastic, also they're quite a lot thicker than those in the ads. Don't buy this if you need any support whatsoever.
This saddens me so much. :( I love how this bra looks and I've been wanting it for so long. I guess I'll find something else.

It might work better for someone else, especially for smaller bokbo that are pretty self supporting. I doubt that it'll look really good on anyone but it may look a lot better than on me.
If the only breasts that will look okay in this bra are perfectly full, round, self-supporting ones, the Pour Moi Addicted is almost pointless. Maybe if this were the only bra left in the universe, the Addicted would have a use. I'm totally turned off from Pour Moi now. I am grateful for your review, because that saves me the time and expense of buying and returning.
learningaboutbras I can't sweat that no other breasts will look good, but I think it's quite unlikely for most of us. I think you should try it if you really want to, but yeah, I'm on the same page with you on Pour Moi, I've tried three different bras and two or three bikini tops and they have all had something in the construction that were just off, like, just a bit better constructed that Asos house brand (and that's very bad). You get what you pay for, I guess. It's just a shame that the only really edgy budget bra for bigger cups is such a waste of fabric. I mean, if Panache or Curvy Kate or even Freya would do something similar I'd be doing somersaults of Joy.
I'm not a fan of the wide straps of the Ewa one (I think it's sort of wierd to put those wide straps on a 'sexy' bra, as they're not very sexy IMO). Otherwise I think it's genius to allow the wearer to alter them! Can't wait to see what price point KH ends up at, hopefully it'll be cheaper than Bosom Galore was.

Yeah, some people's breasts can be 'self supporting' on their own, and some people's with implants aren't. A lot of girls get comments like this in real life a lot ("wow, are those real?!" Etc) and they come here to escape comments like that and speculation about their body.
Fits fine, apart from the wires being too wide, but no other quibbles - gore is low enough for my close-set breasts (and only a hair too wide, which is more to do with it being low than actually narrow), wings are high enough to keep me in, the wire width is comfortable even if it is too wide... However there's some armpit sawing happening on me.
Covers more of my chest than I prefer, because the top panel isn't sheer. The cups are made of stretchy material, so they sit nicely on me but would be very forgiving of upper fullness - and therein lies the problem ...with the bra for me.
It gives me a sort of nothing shape: I'm held up, but the lift isn't spectacular, and I'm not brought particularly forward either.
All of which makes me think I could afford to size down in the cup on this one -- although I think then I'd lose the depth I need. I suspect this bra is designed for people who have firm tissue and lots of fullness. Would also work well for those who don't want to draw attention to the girls.
For me, it's going to be a bit of a workhorse/everyday bra for those days staying contained is more important than va-va-voom. Read more 111 more words
I have very shallow, very wide breasts that are slightly conical/tubular in shape.
Many reviews here and elsewhere suggest going up a cup size in this bra, and I'm glad I did. The 30D would have been ridiculous. But the 30DD seems simultaneously giant and just right. I think it feels that way because when I shove all of my breast tissue into the cup, it seems to fit very well. But due to the ridiculous amount of pushup in the bra and my natural breast shape, my tissue all falls out the sides pretty quickly, and the cup starts gapping like mad.
The top of ...the cup, where it meets the strap, is too tall for me and cuts in very uncomfortably at the front of my armpits. The gore is very flimsy, and for whatever reason distorted pretty badly for me. The gore wanted to yaw inwards at the top, making the inside tips of the underwires touch and even overlap one another.
The overall construction was pretty good. The bra seems like a very sturdy bra; the band was stiff but not too stiff. At a 29" ribcage, I set it on the loosest hook and that seemed perfect. The straps are nice and wide, which is something I don't see very often in my size range.
To sum up, I'm not sure what kind of person this bra is made for. There's a ton of padding at the bottom of the bra to give your breasts quite a bit of boost, but then the tops of the cups curve inwards a bit and seem to be cutting into the breast tissue on most everyone. This theoretical person would need to have a longer torso than I, and/or lower-set breasts. But if you want to try it, go up a cup volume, and consider going up a band size. Read more 212 more words
I first got this bra in a 30HH, but it was too big in the cups; the 30H is just perfect. Though a little big in the band (I just got it and I can wear it on the tightest hook, no problem; it doesn't ride up when on the loosest hook, though) the size and shape are pretty perfect for me otherwise.
Pros: Nice, natural shape; not too round and not too pointy. Great support and coverage without being matronly; can wear with fairly low-cut tops. Relatively narrow wires- comparable to my Freya bras. Most large cup bras have wires too wide for my boobs. Comes in beige, so I can ...wear it under light colored clothing! Straps are fairly narrow and inconspicuous, so it won't look tacky under a tank top.
Cons: Apparently is the only Pour Moi style that currently comes in this big a cup and this small a band. (28 bands only go up to G.) - The band isn't very stretchy, so it doesn't hug your body very well. When you breath in, you can feel the band restriction. When you breath out, the band may ride up abit.
Well, I had not been active for a long while. These days I'm preparing my graduation of bachelor so I'd like to seek a multiway/strapless bra to fit my dress for the graduation party.
My shape: slightly projected close boobs with tall roots. Common strapless bras with those big center gores can make me feel quite uncomfortable. However, the measurements of this Devotion Bra that were provided by someone here really inspired me. I decided to start with size 30F. The center gore of it is just like a regular bra, but with the relatively shallow cups, it still can't lie flat on my ribcage.
I'll switch to 32F then. I guess the band of 32F can be a little bit too loose for my optimal size of strapless bras, but maybe the problem can be solved if I wear it on the last column of hooks. I don't need a very long lifespan of strapless bras. I wear them almost just for the party.
I ordered the Eclipse online having never tried out Pour Moi bras before. The gore doesn't tack, yet the outer mesh layer bunches up some at the top of the cup. It's still comfortable, and is a very pretty mint green color in person.
I love this bra so much that I don't care about the fact that it's slightly too small, and that the cups are a bit of a strange shape! They don't carry 32GG or 32H, so this is it for me! The front fastening makes it so, so, so much easier to put on. The fabric is lovely and soft, and the longline style helps smooth the under-band roll. Keep in mind, due to it being front-fastening, there is only one option for hooks, which makes it a little tight for me.
