Another Pour Moi bra for which I had high hopes, in my search for a plain, everyday, no-frills bra.
    And another disappointment.
I think I can only describe it as... sad.
Sad fabric: seemed kind of cheap, it looked worn and began pilling right out of the package. I almost felt embarrassed sending it back.
Sad colour: a weird nude, with greyish tones.
And above all, sad shape. My boobs were suddenly in front of my elbows and looked worse than wearing no bra. Side panels... really?
However, it seemed to fit ok, except for slightly too-wide wires, and seems like it could be a comfortable bra.

    38F

    Didn't fit

I routinely wear a 40F. In this bra I wore a 38F, which is down a cup size and down a band size. I would've gone down 2 cup sizes, but the cups were about 1/2 inch not deep enough (meaning that the F cup was still a little too big, particularly on top).

Very comfortable bra. It has side cup wings that help with structure. It feels solid, and the material feels of good quality.

I was all set to rave about the Imogen Rose Cotton Mix at a whopping $35 (!), but it came out of the VERY FIRST wash with a ... wire poking out of the center gore. So, so sad.

To be fair, the label does call for hand washing, which I did not do. I wash all of my bras in the washing machine, and then hang dry. Generally, my bras last about 2 years. I've never had one go bust on the first go. Will not buy again.

    UPDATE:
I also bought the 38E at the same time, not knowing which size would fit better, and even after this bra busted, I willingly and happily wore the size down because it remains one of my more comfortable bras. And, I've had no problems with the 38E wires. I've decided the busted wire was user error, or perhaps just a fluke. I will most certainly be buying this again - and in the 38F size.

    38E

    Didn't fit

So, the 38F was the bra that fit my bust properly, and it popped a wire the first time I washed it. However, when I ordered the 38F, I also ordered a 38E to try, unsure of how it would fit me. The E cup was just slightly snug across the top of my breasts - not quite a quadboob, but close. Also, while I stand the gore sits against my sternum, but when I sit it pops out a little. It doesn't quite fit, but it's still one of my more comfortable bras. I know I said with the 38F that I wouldn't order this again, but I've washed the 38E a couple of times (in the machine, then hang to dry), and have had no problems with it. I love this bra. It's not sexy or terribly pretty even, but it's wonderfully comfortable, affordable, and a really good all-pourpose bra.

    I will be buying more.

  4. The Imogen Rose is a nice simple bra made of comfortable fabric. The band, underwire, and straps all fit fine, and the sides and bottoms of the cups are perfect, BUT, the very center front of the cup puffs out and I can't fill it. It's a real shame, because everything else is perfect. This would be a good bra for someone with a more protruding breast shape.

Soft and comfortable. Cups are just a smidge too small. I ended up with a 38F.

Center gore rises 4.25". Because of band stretch and because of the depth of the cups the 40F I tried on was at least 1 band size too big, and at least 2 cups sizes too big. Bra construction looks good for an inexpensive bra, and it looks like it would be incredibly comfortable.

  7. overall fit seemed good, buy I'm still trying to find my true size. It seemed a bit too snug, but maybe just because I'm used to a 36 band. Ended up returning it just because the lace on the straps is scratchy and digs in.
