Shape: Mostly even, Slight FOB, average projection, wide-rooted, high(er) on chest, broad shoulders

When I put this bra on, I feel like I'm doing some kind of weird acrobatic stretching. When it's the first long-line you've ever owned, putting it on is a real hassle. I can't get it right without hooking it backwards and shuffling it back around. I hate that I'm stretching the band like that, but it is literally the only way.

When it's on, it's pretty comfortable. The cups are soft and not as rigid as they look in pictures. This is one of the few Parfait bras that attempt to be true to size, ... although I feel like the cups could be slightly bigger. Makes nice cleavage. It does keep side tissue in and leaves the back looking smooth and reduces bulges.

It does what I would suspect a long-line is supposed to do. My only annoyance, besides hooking it up, is that the bottom tends to flare up and made a popping sound. I have a wide ribcage, so maybe that's why it does that?

Boobs: Wide-set, mostly even, slight FOB, average projection, tall, broad-shouldered.

The Parfait Kimberly is another strapless bra in the hoards of strapless bras that suffers from collapsing on itself. By collapsing I mean wrinkling at the bottom due to the lack of supporting structure given (to regular bras) by the straps. This resulted in an unfavorable wrinkle despite being able to fill the bottom decently. However, it isn't that noticeable (at least to me) and is undetectable underneath clothes.

The Kimberly gore is determined not to tack. I believe this to be a design issue rather than a unique fit issue, as I see all of the other posters ... have the same problem. The gore is low and fairly narrow--it is just not going to lay flat. The bra gives great cleavage with a surprising lack of quadboob. The shape of the bra pushes breast to the middle, contributing to tackless gore.

The band is tight as all hell, which is expected. General Parfait rule of thumb is to pretend the bra band is 2" less than what the tag says.

I like the aesthetics of this bra. Very... Victorian? I can't really describe the exact style. I've never seen that combination of aesthetics before, which makes me feel kind of proud to own it.

All in all a solid strapless. Does it fit 100% correct? Of course not. No strapless ever will. Unless bra makers figure out a viable and wearable way for the bra to support itself on the bottom half of the cup, straplesses are going to have a slight droop and wrinkle. I have found that sizing down in the cup gets rid of that problem, but with the sacrifice of breast containing via quadboobery.

This band runs tight, apparently, so I went up a size and down a cup... but the cup is too small now, and frankly I just think this shape is wrong for me. The straps are too wide, the gore doesn't tack, and somehow the cups are also a little too big.

The band on this runs quite firm, for reference I wear a 32 band in the Charlotte. The cup sizing for this I believe runs true to size. This bra reminds me of the Fiona except with a better construction., my Fiona always collapsed in the midline edge of the cups.

If you are VERY Fot, you may want to go up a cup size, but for somewhat FOT, you should be ok.

Really pretty bra, I love the detailing and the center pendant, gives a vintage feel.

This bra gives decent projection and has the perfect width for my wide root breasts. The cup where it meets the strap is a bit uncomfortable and rubs. Center gore does not lay flat. The bra gives a nice shape and is virtually seamless under clothing.

  6. Madeline Contour Bra (4501)

The fit is good, however I find this bra to be very wide set. This is good for me, being wide set, but if the cups were any more separate there would be lots of problems. There's no quadboob; I fill the cups completely with no gaping or wrinkling.

The straps are probably my favorite part about this bra. One of the few things I like about Parfait by Affinitas is that generally speaking, the straps are spaced further apart than most bras. I am 6' tall with broader shoulders, so I like having straps fit me where they fit on other women instead of being so ridiculously ... close to my neck like a lot of bras.

The grey color reminds me of an elephant, but I love elephants.

The fabric is much softer in this color than in my other Madeline (which is white). I found that to be kind of odd, but nice also, as my white one is sort of scratchy feeling.

I really like this bra. I may consider altering the gore to bring the cups 1/4 inch closer together, but it is mostly a great fit.

A really pretty bra that I couldn't bear to wear for more than a few minutes. Most pressing issue (literally!) - the band is too tight. I would say this is better for a 32 than a 34. The cup isn't awful, but there is an obvious shape discrepancy - it is too shallow on the bottom, and too open on top, at least for me. Also, the line fabric is a kind of itchy mesh

Overall, just an uncomfortable bra to wear.

I really wanted this to fit so badly! It was snug enough in the band and covered the sides of my boobs really well. There's just something about the top part, though, that either doesn't fit my shape well, or the cup size is just too small. I kept feeling like there wasn't enough top coverage even though there wasn't any noticeable quad boob. When I would lean down, though, the tops would just pop right out.
I might try to find this in a 34G and see if that makes any difference.

Not even in the vicinity of tacking, so I'm guessing the cups aren't big enough, though they also wrinkle at the bottom without straps to hold them up. This bra does me zero favors under clothing, so I only use it as a strapless -- the painfully snug band and chafing from the silicone lining are to be expected under those circumstances, as is the lack of lift. I wouldn't put up with them in a regular bra. It's too bad, because the pinstripes and cameo are adorable! Wish they were on a better-designed bra.

This is such a cute bra! It's very comfortable -- I'm a big fan of the straps, which are wide and made of a nice smooth material. I also like the three-hook back. I get a little quad-boob on my bigger breast if I fully scoop and swoop, and the gore doesn't *quite* tack, but I like the bra overall enough to overlook that.

This is a review of the peach/black colorway, which I can confirm runs about a cup-size too small. I got it in 34FF when I was still a 34F...however, I've recently moved up to 34FF, so this probably needs to be a 34G.

I'm sort of conflicted about this bra. On one hand, the wires are pretty damn narrow - only a half-inch off, on the outside. The bra generally stays in my inframammary fold, so I think it must have enough room for my immediate projection. It matches my shape pretty well - no weird distortion, no directional splaying.

On the other hand...It sort ... of hurts my breasts. It feels as though the band is too tight, but I know it's a cup volume issue, either because I moved up a cup-size even when I bought this, or because the bra cups are too shallow and they're shoving the root up. *shrugs* I'm just not an expert fitter. Either way, I'm going to try this again in the ice-blue colorway coming out next spring, and see if it's fits better in that.

Last note: It's a pretty champagne color...or it would be pretty if it was on a tan person. This is basically a nude for me, and thus less attractive.

This bra is not wonderful fitting. It's slightly too big - which is fair, I ordered the wrong size and it was non-returnable - but more than that, I'm beginning to think that Parfait molded cup bras are just a little too open on top for me, because no matter the size, I can never fill up the top. Additionally, the "top" of the tear drop is too big for me, and has a tendency to rub against my armpits.

Aside from that, the bra is nice, if a bit tight in the band. It loosened up after a few wears. It's got a sort of lacy overlay which is very pretty in a subtly way. The only thing I don't like about it is the lace edging, especially on the straps.

  13. Delphine Unlined Wire Bra (4102)

This review is for the soft-cup wired version of Delphine, just so everyone is clear. Currently, this is the best fitting bra I own. When I say that, I mean it is literally the only bra that currently sits in my inframammary fold; I had no idea until I wore this what a big difference that actually makes. For reference, most of my bras sit about an one-half to one inch lower, and after about 4-6 hours, you can really feel they are on your ribs instead of in the fold. I think the reason this bra actually sits in my fold is due ... to increased immediate projection compared to my other bras. Basically, there is enough room in the bottom that the bra actually stays there, instead of being forced down to make more space.

Aside from that, the wires are definitely too wide. I need it to be narrower in both the gore - I prefer an inch of separation instead of three-quarters of an inch - and the sides. Instead of going straight up in the front of my rib cage, where my breast actually ends, it points to the middle of my armpit, which is at least an inch off. However, this is still the most comfortable bra I own.

Lastly, this bra just makes my breasts look amazing. It conforms to the actually shape of my breasts very well - for reference, I am full-on-bottom, slightly pendulous, with a short root (I suspect). I prefer bras that don't go up to high, and this is perfect - the top of the cup is right at the bottom of my armpit. The bra itself is a very attractive floral set against a periwinkle background, trimmed with pink lace and little fuschia bows. Basically, this is my favorite bra thus far - I would love to get it again!

  14. Charlotte Padded Bra (6901)

I bought this bra on a whim a few days ago, because it was just THAT pretty. Charlotte is always a good-looking bra - I really love the retro styling - but I think the wine purple/black colorway is my favorite version so far. It's just so sumptuous looking - you wouldn't be surprised to see this on a pin-up model of some sort.

Happily, in addition to looking beautiful, it feels beautiful as well! This is the first time I've chosen the padded contour bra version of Charlotte instead of the balconet. I was surprised at how well it mapped the shape of ... my breast. It's not too tall - as many bras are on me - and the apex is situated nicely. I'm not really sure if there's enough room at the bottom for my immediate projection; I have fairly malleable breasts, so I won't know until a few wears from now. That's generally how long it takes to make a crease at the bottom of the cup.

The wires are still a touch too wide, still, but closer than almost everything else I've tried thus far. This bra goes pretty high up the sides, but it's still pretty comfortable. The band is a little firm, like all Parfait bras; however, I've always liked that. I guess the only bad thing about this bra is that it is HOT. It's made of fairly thick foam, so I wouldn't want to wear this bra for a day wandering the city - this is definitely an office bra.

However, aside from that it's really nice! I would love to buy the same bra this spring in the newest colorway.

Love this bra, only I have a ton of problem with the longline flipping up. (This probably is due to my weight gain though, so if it gets better with weight loss, I'll post an update.) I hoped the longline would be beneficial for my posture, but it is just painful right now.

This bra is listed as a 34FF, but the band is much smaller. Fits like a 32G. I've also heard that this bra's cups run big, so it may even be like a 32GG. I am projected, FOB, with short roots. This bra is said to be projected, but it is FOT instead of FOB. If you are a 32G/GG who is projected & FOT, this may be the bra for you!

I have narrower shoulders and the straps are decent, so they may be too close set if you have wide shoulders.

This bra has a fairly stretchy band, I used a bra extender at first because it was so tight but now after a few months of use I wear it without the extender. I think the cups run a size too big, if I could I would get a 34F since the cups gape at the center gore for me. This bra is pretty, good quality materials, however I have noticed after extended wear while working the band rubs under my arm, not the underwire, but the band material, as if its too high. So I wouldn't recommend for smaller statured woman. Overall, I still use this bra because it fits comfortably, i just can't wear it for an extended period of time.
