Unfortunately I'm not able to write much of a review as this bra arrived to me with a broken strap. I was able to try on the other cup, and from what I can tell it's somewhat pointy. It's sort of like Panache Jasmine, a side support cup with a lace top section. Because of the side support panel, it's way too wide for me. The top lace section lies nice and flat, and should accomodate either FOB or FOT, but i think it'd be rounder on someone more FOT. The band is pretty TTS, leaning toward the larger side.
This review is for the soft-cup wired version of Delphine, just so everyone is clear. Currently, this is the best fitting bra I own. When I say that, I mean it is literally the only bra that currently sits in my inframammary fold; I had no idea until I wore this what a big difference that actually makes. For reference, most of my bras sit about an one-half to one inch lower, and after about 4-6 hours, you can really feel they are on your ribs instead of in the fold. I think the reason this bra actually sits in my fold is due ...to increased immediate projection compared to my other bras. Basically, there is enough room in the bottom that the bra actually stays there, instead of being forced down to make more space.
Aside from that, the wires are definitely too wide. I need it to be narrower in both the gore - I prefer an inch of separation instead of three-quarters of an inch - and the sides. Instead of going straight up in the front of my rib cage, where my breast actually ends, it points to the middle of my armpit, which is at least an inch off. However, this is still the most comfortable bra I own.
Lastly, this bra just makes my breasts look amazing. It conforms to the actually shape of my breasts very well - for reference, I am full-on-bottom, slightly pendulous, with a short root (I suspect). I prefer bras that don't go up to high, and this is perfect - the top of the cup is right at the bottom of my armpit. The bra itself is a very attractive floral set against a periwinkle background, trimmed with pink lace and little fuschia bows. Basically, this is my favorite bra thus far - I would love to get it again! Read more 214 more words
The Delphine is a half-padded underwire bra from the AW 2014, there's also a non-padded version - it comes in what they call "autumn print", which is floral on a medium-light cornflower background and a light pink stretch lace makes up most of the upper portion of the cup. The wire is fairly wide like the majority of the last couple of years in parfait bras, and the padding isn't nearly as thick as I'd expected which was a pleasant surprise. I got the matching panty as well. From the minimal time I spent in this bra to make sure I didn't need to return it, it is comfortable and gives a nice rounded shape.
