This was great until I lost weight. It's comfortable and it has this cute mesh that goes over the cups, but it's definitely too big in the band for me now that I'm 31 inches in the ribcage. It stretches to 39 inches.
I didn't know much about breast sizing/fullness/shape when I wore this bra, so I can't really say who would be best for this kind of bra.
I have shallow breasts (28"underbust, 31"bust) and got measured at a 28DD. I tried a 30D just in case a 28 band was too tight. The 30 band on this one is comfortable on me though some may say it's not tight enough. The cup fitting was tricky for me. When bending over or standing up with perfect posture, there are no visible gaps at the top of the cups. However, if I move my arms in front of my chest gaps will appear so I will be returning this bra and trying a 30C. I have rather wide roots as well ...and this bra addressed that issue very well. The underwire reached up a little further than I'm used to be it wasn't bothersome. The bra itself is made of very comfy fabric. The "Natural" color is a medium tan color and passes the white t-shirt test for me. It is a passable match for my asian skin color. One disappointing aspect of this bra is that straps aren't fully adjustable which stinks for us short gals. I think if the straps came up a bit further the gapping wouldn't have been as visible. The padding is about 1/8" - similar to Victoria Secret Body Wireless bras. The bow and metal coin are sewn on so if you don't like them a simple snip will take it off!
*Edited to add that I learned that gapping in some positions is considered normal for molded cup bras...So I might keep this for now and try a 30C for comparison. Read more 165 more words
Pretty comfortable and supportive for a nursing bra, and held up to a lot of wear (measurements are based on a newer bra, though I also have an well-loved bra of the same size/style). Band was quite snug, bordering on tight, at first (I should have gotten an extender), but eventually stretched a bit and felt very firm yet comfortable (old bra measures 39" stretched/33.5" unstretched). It doesn't extend much in the straps - I didn't find this to be an issue though some might. 4 hook design felt very secure. It definitely felt like a LOT of bra, if that makes sense. Finally, after a year of fairly heavy use, the underwire is poking out of the bra on one side, though that's a pretty simple repair.
I actually really like this bra and will be keeping it. I think the fact that it's a 32E and not a 30E (even though I measure betweem a 30E and F and 32E would be a sister size to 30F) is what's throwing things off a little. The wires seem a little more narrow, they fit perfectly. The height of the lace is great, cup separation is great, it's really the depth; if it was a few centimeters less it'd fit perfectly. The elastic on top actually fots pretty well, it's just that slight wrinkling that I think I can mostly attribute to slight shallowness. Also the band..I bought this used and I'm measuring 30 inches now, so that along with it being stretched from previous wear, it's a bit less snug than I prefer. It doesn't ride up though, and the gore sits flat and comfortably. Overall I like this bra a lot, it's comfortable, and I feel I can overlook my shallow boobs almost filling the top of the cup.
The cups seem to fit well with this bra but the band is a bit tighter than I'd like and I hate the moulded padded cups. Especially for nursing, they don't fold down far enough to be able to comfortably nurse. I almost never wear this bra because of it. Oh and I'm pretty sure it's made from sandpaper, it's super scratchy.
I really really wanted this one to fit! It actually fit great everywhere except the top and is so comfy. The band is a bit stretchier than most 32s however.

This bra was a nice color for wearing under light colored tops, but I didn't feel like it would hold me in due to the deep plunge. The cleavage, on the other hand, was definitely there for the girls who are looking for a bra that will give that. I just felt like if I bent over, my boobs would be out and need to be readjusted. Not very supportive in the center.
I have been looking for a strapless bra that has narrow/average wires and is open on top for a long time! I finally decided to just start looking for 1-2 sizes smaller and hope for the best. This bra is 2 sizes too small in the cup, however when wearing it the loose-ish band compensates for that fact. I plan on sewing a piece of ribbon in the band to make it smaller and seeing where ho the bra fits after that. Overall, this bra isn't a good fit, but it might end up working for my strapless dress needs.
Got this bra as used and it definitely feels that way. I swim in the band, so it's hard to get a good fit diagnosis. I *think* it's too shallow/FoB/seperate for me, but again, it's hard to tell! I will be gifting this bra soon! Would work well for a 30:5 or 32:4 person https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This one unfortunately runs a little large in the band and a little small in the cup. The cups are very stiff so the top ridge tends to be visible through clothing, especially when i move and my boobs settle ito the cup or when i press my arms together. Since the band is too long it tends to creep down.
This is currently my best fitting bra and I love it. In canada especially, these are a bit pricy, so definitely go in to a shop and try a bunch on before deciding. I bought this in my 'sister size' of 32B because the shop didn't have the 30 band (which would have been a better fit, but not all Le Mystere bras come in 30 bands...) The band does fit loosely on my rib cage, but on the tightest hook, it's just enough to stay comfortably in place. I'm wearing it as is for now, but will probably shorten the band as it stretches out. I find it very supportive and I like the shape it gives. The lace on it is adorable and makes it feel fancy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Go by waist measurement, not underbust. The band sits lower on the torso, and runs quite firm. I tried the 34G even though I'm a 30GG/32G on recommendation, and while I could fasten it, I could just barely fasten it.
This garment is not suitable for someone with a natural high waist. It's designed to end at about the waistline, which is fine if your waist happens to be at your navel. However, if your waist is higher up your torso (in my case, my natural waist is barely three inches below my underbust), it will end on top of your hip bone. At best, it will ...be uncomfortable, at worst - if you're like me and have a little pudge around the middle, it will be the kind of unflattering that is so extreme that no control garment in the world can fix it.
In terms of cup size, the 34G actually was a little too big, but sizing down wouldn't have helped because it sat too low on my torso. I was being supported almost entirely by the body of the garment, with very little support coming from the cups. I think this may be the nature of the beast, as my underbust is smaller than where the bustier ends on my torso. I would need a 32 to get the cups firmly against my breasts at the bottom, but then would be unable to fasten it at the hip.
In all- just a bad shape match. I think it would be an excellent option for someone of a more hourglassy shape, but for an inverted triangle/apple, it's a bad fit. Look for something longer that will end at the hip instead of the navel. Read more 182 more words
