Not a good shape match for conical, close-set, splayed shape. Band is reasonably tight for a 32" band, so if you measure 31" at the under bust this might be a great balance of comfort and band longevity. I usually wear a 30" band and this is on the 2nd hook, however I don't wear it often because of the fit issues. It's a super cute bra and the middle seam has minimal show-though in most clothes besides t-shirts.
Tried this based on the reddit calculator, but it skewed small because one breast is smaller than the other. DEFINITELY too small. Sad because it's so soft and lovely, i'm sure it would be great for someone actually in this size.
I bought this bra because the 34G Lace Tisha was SO small in the cups (which was to be expected since my true size is 34FF/G UK. However, this bra is ridiculously large compared to the 34G Lace Tisha. It is bizarre really. The cups are outlandishly larger AND the straps do not cinch down nearly enough. I will look for a 34H Lace Tisha to see if it fits right. From my online research, the two bras are SUPPOSED TO BE the same except for the lace. These two bra styles are FAR FROM THE SAME.
I love this bra!!!! Finally a bra that doesn't pinch anywhere, that I don't have to re-scoop every hour, a band I don't have to keep pulling back down!
This is a very sexy, comfortable bra. I lost a lot of weight so it sadly no longer fits me. It didn't get much wear because I bought it relatively close to the weight loss. I'm a big fan of this brand.
When I ordered this bra, it was called a 32E, but what I received was labeled as 32DD. So beware of sizing issues. It was definitely small on me: not so much in the band, but the cups, yes.
I ordered this bra on Amazon using their baby registry so that I could get it for 15% off. First things, I was impressed to see that there were 4 rows of hooks. Putting it on, I immediately observed that the band was much softer than I anticipated and I probably could have sized down to a 32, at least for the length of the band. I opted for a 34 because it was the size that had measurements on Bratabase already, and the measurements there seemed spot on for what I was looking for. I can tighten it on the 2nd tightest setting straight out of the package, ...and it's comfortable. I filled the cups nicely with a little room for engorgement, which is a must for a nursing bra. (Fifth baby, this ain't my first rodeo.) The shape is wider than my other non-nursing bras (expected, since I haven't found a nursing bra that really has a good forward projection yet), but otherwise lovely. The gore does not tack. I am not sure what exactly that translates to as far as cup fit and band fit; I think that as my cup size has gone up this pregnancy, some of that extra tissue is front and center, so I am more closely set together than my non-pregnancy breasts. All of the tissue seems well contained on the sides, and I think if I got the band tighter/could tell my boobs to stay where I want them - i.e. inside the wires, the gore would tack. As far as appearance and quality goes, this bra is made of foam and the foam is FIRM. When you undo the clip, the bra doesn't just immediately give way to the flood of breast tissue. I personally like this, since it gives me a chance to get my bearing on the nursing pad and the breast before a leaky nipple breaks free. Know what I mean? I had to actually reach down, bend over the cup (bad for the foam, so we'll see how it handles that wear and tear), and lift myself out. (I could probably leave the tissue in the bra, actually, since the nipple is well-revealed by that point. The bra itself is pretty, and an upgrade from my old Elomi underwires. I like it, and I look forward to using it once the baby arrives. I am just hoping that the band holds its shape over time, otherwise, I might need to get it adjusted. Read more 304 more words
These cups are way too small for me, and the center gore sist more than 2 inches off my chest. I just got this bra and at first it seemed okay, but then I wore it for just a couple of hours and there was just too much overflow up top for this to be wearable.
Short rooted, projected, close set, center full, slightly narrow, omega shaped, even breasts....
I adored this bra until I outgrew it. The shape is best for shallow breasts, but smooshed my projected breasts into acceptably round mounds. The foam near the bottom of the cup is firm which provides great lift. In fact, this bra supports my two-sizes-too-big projected breasts without collapsing. Impressive!! For the right breasts, this is a great bra.
The band has two layers and remains supportive despite its age and wear. Considering the support and incredible wearability of this bra, I strongly recommend it.
OK, the 34G in this didn't exactly work for me either. The band was a teeny bit tight, nothing that an extender wouldn't solve. The cups were the right size but wearing the bra I just didn't like the shape. My breasts were neither particularly uplifted nor projected. It seemed to flatten me at the top and pushed my breasts sideways a bit. Then when I looked at the pictures of me wearing it I could see how the wires slip far below my imf so it seems the cups are a little shallow at the bottom or else it's some other kind of shape ...mismatch. I debated about returning it because it is very soft and I liked how the lace in the upper cups was matched and the color, but in the end I decided not to settle for "almost" so back it went.I am becoming very discriminating about how my bras look and fit - after all, it's my money!
However, if the shape works for you this could be a very nice everyday bra. As I said, it's very soft and comfortable. Well-made too, so definitely worth a try-on if you are within their size range.
This review will be somewhat limited since the bra did not fit me.
I used the size calculator on the Le Mystere site since one Amazon reviewer of another Le Mystere style said she was successful in getting the right size using it. For this style the calculator didn't work so well. With a 33.5" snug underbust I need a 34 or 36 band depending on the make and style. From the scant sizing information I could find about Le Mystere it didn't seem the bands are very stretchy but this style has a very soft and stretchy band that is also a bit ...longer than a lot of size 36 bands. When I put it on I fastened it on the tightest set of hooks right out of the bag. The cups are also larger in proportion to the larger band. I returned this one and reordered in 34G which I'm hoping will be a better fit for me.
All the materials used in this bra are very soft and it seems that it would be very comfortable in the correct size. The lower portion of the cups and band are a stretchy microfiber, and the upper cups and band are stretch lace. The whole bra except for the upper cups is lined with with very soft tricot fabric that has just a little bit of stretch. I like that they matched the pattern of the lace on the upper part of the cups. The center bow is not overly large and the rhinestone drop is not gaudy. The straps are a little on the wider side but the satin and matte finish on them makes them look more narrow than they are. All in all it's a very pretty bra that's quite wearable and versatile for every day. Read more 203 more words
I found this bra on sale at Nordstrom Rack. So cheap I was going to sell it because it wasnt my size. I tried it on out of curiousity to find that this bra has so many things wrong with it! It fit perfectly! Im a 32F. The band was comfortable as hell and still tight. The cup? Perfect for my breasts and the cups just fit as a full cup. Other then the cups hitting me on the sides, its crazy how good it fit at a 36F! It was definitely not their best made one and has issues. Im assuming thats why it was so hard to find information about it. It was an awesome random find.
This bra cup is both too big (Outer top) and too small (bottom of cup and Inner top). Cup is much too wide and wings dig into armpit very uncomfortably. Flattens and spreads breasts uncomfortably. Nice adjustment option on strap. I'm 5'1" with high breadth and it is very hard to find straps that will shorten enough. Not good for unevenness. Embroidery at edge shows through even medium weight fabrics.
Strapless bras are a challenge. I had to have one for a dress for a wedding and this was the best fit i got from the bras I tried. I tried the deco and a panache and many others. It more or less stays up. Once it settles into a place it stays there for the duration and I don't have to hike it. But it settles where it seems too low. The cups also are a little too large and the band I need to wear on a middle set of hooks. And it feels a little east west to me but in the pictures it doesn't look that way. It does look rounded and centered. Usually I like to start with a band on the loose adjustment hoping to get more wear out of it.
My second purchase of a bra that hopefully fits. Right now I am going for comfort before I branch out. I will not walk out of a store with something that feels uncomfortable. This came from a so-so, not huge Dilllards in my town.
This bra is from an exchange for my friend, but it is just too small for her because of the tight band, that is functionally a 30. I'd say the bra fits like a 30F or maybe FF, not sure about that, as I have not much experience with strapless styles. Since the band actually fits me, but the cups are wide and come up high for me, I am in two minds about keeping and hacking it or listing. Seems like a high quality bra and it most definitely stays in place.
I wore this bra ONCE, on my wedding day. I no longer have any use for this bra. It's in excellent, amazing, phenomenal condition. This bra has been well cared for and has only been hand washed ONCE with gentle, bra-friendly detergent. The label is intact and is in EXCELLENT condition. It comes from a non-smoking, no pet home so allergies wouldn't be a problem.
