    Didn't fit

This is such a beautiful bra. It didn't fit me because the band and cup were too small, but I have a replacement coming in the mail.

Quality: Excellent, just as I always expect from Gorsenia it's well constructed and made.

Fit: Not the best, the band felt too tight since the cups were too small. It wasn't super noticeable at first that the cups were too small, but the amount of cleavage I was getting was more than usual.

Design: This bra wins the design contest. It's so pretty. So, so pretty!

This bra is gorgeous, and it looks great on you. I hope the new size coming is a winner for you. Is the top of the cup stretchy? I’d been eyeing this one, but I’m not sure if the top of the cup will accommodate my FOT boobs.

    • 2

Happy2BraShop It's beautiful! The top part of the cup is not stretchy in my memory, it's power mesh so it's a little stretchy but the seam itself isn't very elastic.

    • 2

Happy2BraShop I've got even vertical fullness, so if yo're FoT there's a chance this might work for you! I've found Gorsenia bras to be very accommodating for both FoB and FoT (my shape) which is refreshing.

    • 2

Happy2BraShop oop, just checked another Rainbow and the cup seam at the top is indeed stretchy!

corvidsandtea Awesome! Thanks for the info. I’d been eyeing this one for a while. I might bite the bullet and order it. :)

    I LOVE this bra!!

In my size range, Gorsenia soft cups are deep with narrow wires, lower wings and narrower straps that aren't as wide set as EM...they are awesome for my petite frame.

Pale mint colour with embroidery in mint, vanilla and cream. So pretty!

Small bow with a crystal at the gore.

    Tacks! Yes.

Band is smaller 65 than KL. More like an EM 65. I can't go tighter than the first set of hooks.

Light material...great support even in summer. It's SLIGHTLY sheer.

    I can't say enough good.

In stock photos, the panties look like boyshorts, but in size S, on me, they are more like hipsters are full bikinis. The material is soft mucrofibre and the sheer embroidered sides match the top of the bra. Also - a true small. As in smaller than EM 36 briefs. Love.

Thanks to MagdaBras4you for helping me get Gorsenias (and Krisline and EM) for me.

This didn't fit me, but I transferred it to a friend who loves it.

Quality? Excellent. Polish bras are solidly constructed and this is no exception.

Fit? Okay. Cups were too small, so it didn't fit comfortably. But the cup depth and narrow wires run true to Polish manufacturing.

Design: Beautiful! The black mesh in the cup is really pretty and the beige embroidery is stunning!

I have been very hesitant to jump on the 2 trends of harness-type strappies and dark seams on sheer bras.

I don't like to spend on something that will only be in style for a season or 2.

But, it seems like it ain't letting up and when Gorsenia released this set, I decided to try.

However. My decision came too late to get it direct from Gorsenia via MagdaBras4you ...it sold out eeek!

But, I found on Other Eden which is also returns friendly. Yes...even after deciding to try it, I still wasn't convinced that I would like it. The matching brazilian style panties ... are high waisted, which added to my doubt...

    Ok. My doubts are gone!

This is a crazy sexy bra that fits great and is light as air.

The lace is beautiful. The seam covers are satin.

The lower cup is black tulle over nude.

The top cup is the nude tulle with black eyelash lace overlay.

I find Gorsenia soft cups to be deep and to have a lot of projection at the wire. It's why they've become my unicorn.

The gore is also nude tulle with eyelash lace overlay and has a simple tiny satin bow.

The shoulder straps are fairly narrow and smooth and are fully adjustable and quite long. They're also trimmed with tiny satin bows.

The strappies are thin elastic and are quite loose - I assume to prevent cutting into tall soft roots. They just barely lay flat on my short roots - I could even put a tuck stitch just to pull them tighter if I want. I'll decide after I wash and dry the bra.

Flexible side boning on the low wings in a semi-matte black knitwear band.

Band is consistent with all my other Gorsenia soft cups from recent seasons. I wear on loosest hook. Considered by me to be TTS.

Matching Brazilian high waisted panties...hmmm...when I put them on alone, my man couldn't decide if he liked them. But when I put the bra on with them, he was on board lol

    They're gorgeous actually. Perfect fit.

Front is semi-matte knitwear with sheer nude panels that have eyelash lace overlay and little strappies to match the bra. The back is knitwear on top and the leg openings are folded stretch tulle.

I'm really happy that I decided to buy this set and look forward to similar ones that I know Gorsenia plans to release in the fall.

Havana fits exactly how I have come to expect Gorsenia softcups to fit me - PERFECTLY!!!

Narrow wires, deep cups and a TTS band.

One of the things that I love about Gorsenia bras is that they are perfect for my small frame: the straps are perfectly placed and not too wide, the wings are boned and just the right height, the cups are narrow, deep, projected and cover on the sides without eating my armpits and the band is firm and supportive even with only 2 hooks.

Havana is a gorgeous shade of lavender satin with stretch lilac and lavender lace. It has pale lilac satin bows on the ... straps and a small lilac bow with a clear crystal charm on the gore.

The panties that match this set are classic briefs, made from matching sueded microfiber. I never wore briefs before buying Gorsenia...however I have a thing about wearing matching sets and and if a brazil or thong isn't available, then I have no choice. But, I have come to learn that Gorsenia panties, no matter what the cut, are awesome. They are always comfortable, full coverage and because they are cut so well and trimmed with lace they never look like granny panties!!

Gorsenia soft cups give me everything that I like about Ewa Michalak half lace BMs at a much lower price point and in a greater variety of styles and colours!! In fact, they are the power horses in my bra drawer...perfect for everyday wear.

Thank you to MagdaBras4you for helping me get this set https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Narrow wires, deep cups and a TTS band.

This particular model has an old fashioned English garden type print that is matched everywhere - the sides are printed power mesh, ... the cups and cradle are printed satin knitwear and the panties are printed sueded microfiber. The top of the cup is embroidered with a lovely scalloped edge. There are little bows on the straps and the gore has a bow with a cameo ornament. It's quite different from anything I have ever seen.

I worried a little about buying this bra - thinking that it was so old-fashioned looking it might look too Grandma. But, nope. I put it on this morning and my boyfriend said, "Wow. Nice. Old school. Love it. Sexy, babe." These comments mean Margo's a keeper https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

      Beautiful!

    • 1

Thrilled you and Gorsenia are a perfect fit!! Gorgeous!!

    • Wow, the gorsenia bras look soo stunning on you! I’m jealous. Can’t really wear them as gore bothers me a bit. I have Margo as padded halfcup but haven’t tried it yet (since June last year....) . Btw, have you seen Ava bras? They’re great as well!

Btw, if you’d need size small Margo panties I have one new with tags 🙈😂

    • Omg martka00 you crack me up. I have 2 pair Margo Brazilian as well as 2 extra bras...an ebay seller made a big booboo on my order.
Really? The gores poke you? I find them the most comfy things ever...the gore on my Ewa half lace used to poke me, so I bent it out and now it's fine. Maybe the wires were warped?
I have 1 Ava bra set. They're pretty but I find the quality on it is a little less so I am hesitant to try more...maybe its just the delicate nature of the design of the one I bought?

    • I tried few Gorsenias , Gorteks and Gaia’s and none was wearable for longer than 5-6 hours :/ maybe the wires aren’t padded as good as Comexim and Ewa? I don’t know.. my soft Margo I wore like couple of times and sold it . I hope the halfcup will work better! I need to finally try it on 😂😂😂

Agree that Ava quality isn’t best but I still like them, especially my red set 😍 I’m planning to get more Ava’s and see if I can make them work (except half padded as had exactly same thing as with the other brands)

    • AprilGoulding I LOLd at your comments about the fear of this floral being granny-like! I was actually just about to comment that this print was bold and bright and had a more sophisticated look than the other bras you posted, it's the kind of floral I would expect on a Lise Charmel, Marjolaine or another pricy heritage French brand. Much bolder than what North American brands usually use on their underwear!

    • wendybien i know, right? I LOVE these things but men are finicky :P

    • 1

I really like the 'vintage rose' pattern on Margo, congratulations on finding an awesome every day bra style - that looks great and fits comfortably as well!

Nothing wrong with some low key retro / granny vibes ;)

I've been looking a simple, every day beige bra that wasn't so precious (I.e. $) that I'd be worried about wearing it to work. I'm a meal prep chef and I often splash oil or sauce on myself and even with an apron, every now and again something will seep through. If oil stained and ruined a $100 bra, I'd lament for days.

Anyways...I read here on BtB that this style was narrow with deep cups so I took a chance and ordered 65G.

It's pretty much a perfect fit. And, it's pretty for a beige bra.

Is it an EM? No. Absolutely not. But, to be honest, ... it's not far off my bibi Blanca in terms of style and fit and quality, too. I'd say just 1/2 step down with difference in band firmness being notable.

For the money, I'll happily wear it cooking.

It gives a slightly less rounded shape than my bibi, but I like the natural profile for everyday wear.
The straps are nice and not too wide set.
And yes, the wires are very, very narrow. So narrow, that when I took this bra out of the box, my first thought was, "there is no way this is going to be big enough." But...Perfect. Awe-sum-ness.

I'll load more pics and measures tonight.

OK, ladies. If you need narrow wires and deep cups, this one is for you. I just measured. The cups are only 12.5 cm wide but they're 25.5cm deep. This bra has the most U-shaped wire on any bra I have ever tried. The projection is amazing - I get ZERO wrinkling anywhere around the wire. I wore it all night and it is a great bra. If I could get a black one and white/ecru one like this, I totally would buy them.

This is a a nice bra, but not my favourite. I’m not sure what it is, but Gorsenias appear to be good on me, yet somehow I’m not happy with the fit. I’m unable to articulate what it is about the fit that bothers me. This one does get a bit of wear but it’s actually still in the second bedroom on the futon instead of my bra drawer for regular rotation.

It’s a nice light pink with a silver tone through the lace upper. Pink has never been my favourite colour yet this one is quite nice against my skin. It’s pretty lightweight with narrow and projected cups. I almost feel like it’s borderline small, but I know that a size up would be too tall. The band is snug but the tag is a bit itchy. I think it’s a little bit of a weird shape on me, depending on the angle.

It’s not a bad bra, but it’s one that I don’t run for immediately either.

    • Maybe it's the pic but based on other reviews you've posted it looks like this has you sitting a little wider, more east/west than centered, maybe that's it?? Its is pretty though!

    • Yes, I think so confused. The gore is a little bit too wide for me, I think.

    • Pretty bra though...

    • Yup. It’s not overly fancy or excessively plain. Good for daily wear. Colour is nice. It’s ok on me, but I don’t think it is a wow bra.

    • Do you have any idea generally how Gorsenia compares to EM size wise? I know that's a complicated question just wondering!

    • confused I take 65FF/70F in Ewa and this is a 65G. Ewa follows UK cup progression so that you see the double letters in Ewas but not other Polish brands who use EU progression. I’m not sure what measure Gorsenia scales their cups. There’s a Polish bra wiki that has some information on the scaling but I’m not sure off the top of my head. I know Comexim is 2cm which is why the cups are smaller (UK uses 1in which is 2.4 or 2.5cm). This 65 band is a bit snug for a true 30 but it’s close. I’m not sure if that helps.

    • This looks like a nice bra. Do you think the gore is wider at the bottom and that's why it feels more like an east/west look?

    • 1

Yes, possibly. That is why b I thought the HM Sekret made me feel east/west.

    • Yes, possibly. That is why b I thought the HM Sekret made me feel east/west.

    • Yeah, I think you're right on. I looked at the Sekret and the gore looks wider at the bottom like this one for sure.

    • To be fair, I am splayed, unsupported. So that width at the bottom does actually match my shape, but it’s not doing anything for me.

I can't find a "regular" softcup balcony style bra that fits me as well as a Gorsenia. They look great under everything and sizing is so consistent.

I have gushed about them constantly and I'm certain you're all sick of it.

All I'm going to say about Rebecca is this:

    1. It fits perfectly and is perfectly comfortable as expected

    2. It has a unique colour

    3. When Ewa Michalak released Wenecja (Petrol Blue) it looked more than a little familiar.

Why? Because this bra had already been on my wishlist for months by that time.

Much thanks to MagdaBras4you for getting it for me 🙏💗

My first thought when I saw your photos was Bm Wenecja but prettier/sexier. Gorsenia definitely beat Ewa with this one, hands down. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! 😍

    • 2

MamaPagan Yup! They did it first and they did it better. They also did it in black and a very light pinky beige (called Parisienne - I'll do it next week). They will do it in metallic black, navy and light blue next season. Check out the variety of patterns in the lace. I find this one is lighter and airier than Wenecja. They also do Paradise (which is the same but with strappies and in black) which is coming out in red in the fall. I have been watching the details and colours, patterns, etc of the other companies and it seems that EM is a step behind. e.g. the double strap detail on my Kinga limpid, she copied on the remake of Opium. I've been just waiting for her to do decorated straps a la KL (who she used to work for) hmmmmm....I'm not dissing...just noticing. "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery"

    • The only thing she has going for her is her extended size range, am I right? 😄

    • 2

      MamaPagan imho, yes.

    • I love this bra. You make me want to try Gorsenia. My EM ride or dies are the PL cut and the SM cut. what gorsenia models would be similar to those?

    • 1

You look wonderful in it! I am glad that I could help you in receiving him!😘

    • 1

gratiat I will tell you what I have noted after having tried about 30 Gorsenia bras...

Gorsenia is not really known for padded bras. I would never say it is their forte.

They do a few padded balconettes each season - similar to CHP. They are usually BEAUTIFUL and I always pray for them to fit me. I tried them a long time ago, just after my augmentation surgery when my breasts were still VERY round and VERY firm and I couldn't get a tack. i.e. not enough projection. Close, but, back then, no cigar.

Now that I am softened, I am going to try them again VERY soon-I am waiting for something to go on sale ;)

As for padded plunges...they have a staple in their basic line called Toscana and they put out maybe 1 other semi-plunge type bra per season (shaped more like a S but less padded).

I would never say that any of Gorsenia's padded styles are like EM padded bras. They don't have cookie pockets, they aren't as heavily padded nor are they as projected.

Funny you would mention EM Plunge - I wore mine yesterday (I haven't in a long time) and I HATED it.

I told MagdaBras4you aBras4you that I felt like I was wearing a bulletproof vest all day.

I have gotten so used to wearing ultra light soft cups and more recently have satisfied my padded-wearing situations with semi-softs from Kinga.

Now, about the soft bra comparison to EM styles...I see you own both BM and SM, so are aware of the fit difference ;)

The SM cup has no stretch, has less projection at the wire than a BM and has more of an angled-up shape at the bottom of the breast than a BM. I would compare a Gorsenia softcup bra (like the one I am wearing here) more to a half-lace BM like Bibi Bianca - it has no stretch at the bottom of the cup but, it has even a little more projection at the wire.

Gorsenia soft cup bras are also much lighter than Ewa's BM bras. I find in our size range, they are cut more delicately, if that makes any sense.

I hope that helps. If you would like more info, please contact myself or MagdaBras4you

It would be our pleasure to help you!!

This is really pretty, I'm all for more teal lace. I wish I liked Gorsenia more, I'd buy this too. I might bite on the Aqua Sky though, just cause I'm a sucker for light blue and just have one sky colored set.
Ewa has done split straps in the past. I'm not sure when the limpid was made but Ewa released the Gazeta in 2013 and that had split straps.

    Didn't fit

My shape: FOB, narrow roots and shoulders, soft tissue, projected
Appearance: This bra is simply beautiful! It's a semi-sheer, 3 part cup with delicate blue and orangish floral embroidery that has sparkly silver threads interwoven through it. The back of the band is a light blue satin. The embroidery travels up the straps about halfway.
Fit: So I misunderstood the sizing of this bra, thinking the redditor I bought it from has given me the UK size. I did ask her if the sizing was UK and not EU, and she assured me it was. Well, lo and behold, my suspicions were right and this is two cups too small. ... (It's a 30:7 and I wear a 30:9 or 30:10, depending on brand) It fits on the bottom and the straps are nice and narrow, but it's not projected enough for me at all. I am so sad, because it's so pretty and the straps seemed nice and narrow, just how I like them!
I'm going to try to find a similar Gorsenia bra in my for real size, and hope the straps aren't too wide with the larger cup size.

      It is a gorgeous bra!
Just an FYI, Vivaine does run large compared to other Gorsenia models by about 2 cups (at least in the 65M.)

The other models in the same style (like Soleil) are the same way.

In 65M Viviane/Soleil were 1"-1.5" deeper at the apex compared to the other Gorsenia models in the same size I tried, but the overall cup was also roomier making it more like 2 cups larger in comparison. (Can compare my Soleil & Vivaine to Attina, Aida, Mistyrose in 65M, and the Soleil in 65K as well for details.) :-)

    • Oooo, I wondering how in the heck I was able to even get the darn bra ON! It didn't squish me as much as a normal bra 2 cups sizes too small would, except on my larger side. I was trying to fit into it so hard, hahah!
So what are other styles like this one, so I know what to look for?

I know next to the bra it does say "bras with same cut" but I am fairly sure those are not all correct.

I'd tried Soleil then saw Viviane which looked identical except blue instead of yellow so I tried it. In between I'd tried the others I listed above and found them to be too small in the cup and nothing like the Soleil. :-(

I haven't figured out a style indicator for Gorsenia yet, but maybe magdalenahukalowicz knows how to tell them apart?

Otherwise I'll see if I can do a bit of research and come up with a pattern or style number like with Gaia. I'll let you know if I figure it out. :-)

    • I looked up the Soleil, and now I have a MIGHTY NEED for a yellow bra like that. It's so pretty!!
And if you find out anything, report back your findings! I'm sure there are others here who would be interested in that, too! Thanks!

    • mandapandarawks I am so sad this wasn't the right size for you! I know you were looking forward to trying it. :( Hopefully you can find a Gorsenia that works perfectly for you!

MamaPagan I too am so thankful for all your information! I'd looked at this same model and would have gotten the wrong size.

    • That's what I'm here for. :-) I know I based my Gorsenia purchases off how Soleil fit & was sadly disappointed when the others did not fit the same (or at all haha. )

I've downloaded Gorsenia's catalogs (2012-2018) and I'm going through them to see if I can find patterns now. Not sure how long it will take but I'll let you all know what I find.

    • 2

Alrighty! Soleil and Vivaine are both from the SS15 line and they are the only two that look like they follow that "runs large" pattern . I'm still going to dig deeper and see what I can find *which will consist on doing a visual side by side compare of the similar description. Gorsenia bras in all 13 catalogs and seeing if I can find a pattern* :-) but figure that may be why the style is still available new 3 years later as it's most likely a regular return due to sizing.
Hopefully Magda will have more info on differentiating Gorsenia styles.....

    • Would you say the Viviane and Soleil fit bigger as in cup depth, so more projected?
I found a Viviane for sale in 65J on allbrasizes.com; I've never heard of that website, so I am a bit nervous to order it straight away.
Amazon and eBay don't have it for sale in any size close to mine. :(
I can't find Soleil anywhere, either.

    • I'd say just more "space" all around. So for mine, they were more projected by 1"+ at the apex compared to the other 3 in the same size, plus more room in the cup altogether making them more than just 1 cup larger that a 1" difference would indicate. Both above and below the apex had more room. (Think Vaulted ceilings and a drop floor mansion compared to a turn of the century cottage. :D)

Unfortunately I do not have the Gorsenia bras any longer to compare details specifically and I never took "bra on" photos of them due to poor fits, so I can only go by memory & my notes. But if it helps, the other 3 Gorsenia soft cup bras I tried in 65M (30:13) fit in the cup more like a Ewa SM in 28K(equate to a 30JJ or 30:14), while Viviane and Soleil 65M were more like a 28L(30KK 30:16) SM. The Soleil in 65K fit like the other 3 soft cup 65M Gorsenia which confirmed my 2 cups bigger theory to me.

There are two Gorsenia soft cups with measurements in a 65G on here, maybe comparing those to this one might help?

      https://www.bratabase.com/browse/gorsenia/carmel-soft-underwire-bra-k019/65G/

      https://www.bratabase.com/browse/gorsenia/patti-soft-underwire-bra-k263/65G/

This is the only listing I can find for Soleil right now:
      https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gorsenia-K201-Soleil-Charming-Available/dp/B00ZRI9JHK

And if it helps at all, here's the link to the Gorsenia catalogs, 2012 to 2018 pdf downloads:
      https://sklep.gorsenia.pl/katalogi,38

Maybe comparing fit (cup height/depth, gore, & strap placement) might help? Also there are a lot of cute designs coming this fall! :-)

    • Alrighty, so just to throw a monkey wrench into the logic, I must point out an additional tidbit. The other 3 Gorsenia 65M I tried are not from their 2012-2018 line and doesn't follow the G or K numbering system but instead the former 5 # system. So..... I now don't know if those older models were true to their current offerings or if Viviane and Soleil are more true to their current sizing. There's 46 models entered that predate their catalog stock (the 3 mentioned included) and use the 3-5 numeric system, then several from SS12 that started the G/K system but predates the catalogs as well.

So with that all said, I'd assume the 3-5 numerics will fit the same, and would venture to say that they K/G system most likely would have the same fit for style (so the soft underwire bras would fit them same as others in that K/G system but not necessarily fit like the padded styles.)

After reading several of the other reviews, I do see the unlined do seem to run larger in general, with a few noting needing to go 1-2 cups smaller than their UK/Comexim size equivalents.
Another common theme was the wide cups/wires/strap placement as well as the unpadded being full coverage and tall.....
Okay. I think I'm done now. Hope it all helps!

    • 1

      Thanks for all that info!
So I emailed Magda, and she said she had a 65I and 65J available of the Viviane, so I went ahead and ordered the 65J. Here's hoping the wideness isn't an issue and it fits me!
Unfortunately, no Soleil available. I'll just have to keep an eye on eBay and maybe I will get lucky. Or perhaps there will be a different sunny yellow bra I can try!
My goal is to get a bra of every color, hahah.

    • That's one of my goals too! Ewa has this one but it's now down to only 3 bras left :-(

      https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/product-eng-1272-Bra-M-Niebieskie-Migdaly.html

      It's so pretty!
Was Magda able to get you the Kostar Lime bra?

    • 1

Yep! I should be getting it, and a couple others, in the next few weeks. ( I ordered a flowery blue Gaia and a black Ava bra with it) It was a balconette, which doesn’t tend to work for me, so I’m hoping it fits. I ordered the neon orange one today, along with the Viviane, so if the green doesn’t work, I’ll at least have a neon orange one on the way!

    • Awesome! I am so excited for you and hope they all fit!!!

    • 1

I got a bra for Viviane and Orange for you. I sent it to you today ... I hope you will receive it soon and they will suit you :)

I got this bra from marilynne, thank you! I lost track of my UK size because I almost exclusively wear Polish now, but I guess I'm a 28FF. My shape is projected, full on top and centre, with tall and narrow roots, soft and self-supporting tissue, and super close-set.

Gorsenia uses EU band and cups, so the equivalent UK size of this bra would be a 30F. The band runs tight and fits snugly on the loosest hooks, although when I check in the mirror the back seemed to ride up a little bit. The cups are narrow and deep, made of sturdy mesh at the ... bottom of the cups with lace overlay and stretchy mesh at the top with an elastic edge. They seem to fit me volume-wise, but the wrinkles near the seam makes me think they might be a little too closed on top for my tall roots. They are negligible though. The gore is low but a little too wide for my super close-set breasts so I'm going to overlap the gore by hand. Hopefully it'll open up the cups a little too.

I LOVE the embroidery with shiny silver threads! It extends a little to the straps as well which brings a "finished" look. I love the color as well.

Overall I'm happy with the fit and appearance of this bra, even though it's not completely perfect.

I think that this bra is stunning and sexy, but in a subdued way. I would say it would probably be a good bridal lingerie item. I love this bra, but it’s not quite the right fit for me.

This bra is a sheer ivory mesh cup with eyelash lace covering the lower 2/3 of the cup in the nipple area, and the eyelash bit coming up just over the nipples. The top and sides are sheer. The upper cup is lined with a strip of material that is stretchy. It’s not just the inside of the cup, but the whole edge of the cup.

The wires are ... pretty narrow, and the cups are relatively deep with projection at the wire. The band is a bit snug - I feel like the band is in between a 28 and 30, and these days I’m preferring closer to 30” than 29” even though I am a 28-28.5” under bust. The cups are a bit lower cut, or at least feel like it, and I will say that it feels like it’s a little bit closed on top due to the way that the cup edge is stretchy as well as the overall height.

I have tallish roots that are shallow, so I am functionally short rooted. In a way, this works well for me because the elastic closes in, but because my roots are taller, and I have soft tissue, it’s cutting right in. I’m not sure if it’s a size or a shape mismatch/issue. I appreciate the short cups, but it’s not working for me the right way. I feel like a smaller size and I’d have cutting in pretty horrendously, but I might have empty fabric by sizing up.

I have a matching bottom for the set, although it is too small for me to wear. The set is just beautiful.

    • It's hard to get that elastic on the cup just right so it encases the boob but doesn't cut in. My 65HH - Comexim » Safiya 3hc does this pretty bad too, but they got the 65HH - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554) just right with how much elastic is along the cup edge. Sorry it didn't work for you.

    • 1

Yeah it was ok on the Bridget I tried, and my Attollo Emelie. Oh, yeah, Aubade half cup too. Ellace is so so. It’s really a difficult thing to get right.

    Fits

After my fit issues with the 65G - Kinga » Yvette Semi Padded (BC-463) that I mentioned in my review, I was graciously sent this bra from AGBras, since she’s a very close size to me (but different shape) and has become quite familiar with Polish brands outside of Ewa Michalak and Comexim. You could say it was sent for Bra Science. Knowing how it fits her vs me allows her some valuable information that she can then pass to me on other brands, sizes, and shapes/styles. She sent another bra to test with this one, and another Gorsenia in a different style ... (but it’s not here yet).

So this bra is a pretty basic black bra. Buuut, I’m ok with that. I’m quite happy with black because my work uniform is black or mostly black (I have blue scrubs tops for my pharmacy shifts, but I still tend to wear a thin black tee underneath). So I’m really into dark bras with my work uniform as I’m too nervous about colour transfer to a lighter bra (which is probably not a legit concern but whatever). I do gravitate to my black bras most. She said that this was a workhorse kind of black bra, and I can understand why. While it’s a little bit decorated on top, the bulk of the cups are a thicker, smooth satin like material. The decoration on top isn’t quite lace...I’m not sure exactly what it is called...it’s not exactly lace but not embroidered either. In any case, it’s not overly frilly, but is pretty simple yet classy.

The fit of the band is a little bit snug. I was aware of it frequently yesterday. I would not say that it is painful, though it’s a little bit, as I have pressure on my sternum. Today I tried with an extender (hooked onto the tightest bra hooks and hooked on the loosest hooks of the extender). I would say that I almost feel like it wanted to shift up. I don’t think that it did, but it was noticeably looser. More comfortable though. Still kinda aware of it throughout the day. I think I might prefer it with no extender except for when I’m relaxing on my couch. I think part of this fit aspect is related to the center gore...it’s a bit wide at the bottom. Although I’m splayed, unsupported, I do prefer something narrower. The cups fit pretty well, but I feel like I am on the edge of them being too small. There’s also something about the cup fit, as viewed from the side, that’s not quite right. Perhaps upside down 7 shape from being too small? That being said, I would have to agree that the cups are pretty narrow with plenty of immediate depth. Yay! The do have built in side support pads which I think aren’t necessarily important for me. I’m already center full...no need to bring my boobs closer together. The cups do have a strip of silicone along the cup edge, but as it’s not stretchy or restrictive, it’s perfectly fine with my soft, pendulous tissue.

All in all, it’s a nice simple bra with a little classic style. Nothing amazing about it. It’s a more natural look, but still pretty good. I can see how it could be a workhorse bra for someone. It’s not quite the right one for me, but it’s not bad. I prefer the fit and comfort of the other black bra she sent over this, but I don’t officially own it yet...it was sent with this bra as a try and buy, so I am working out the buy details now. So for now I’ll hold off naming it or discussing it much until I officially own it. I’m also still waiting for m 30FF Curvy Kate Lifestyle bra in black to arrive (was sent out July 12th from England so hopefully it will be here soon) and it’s also a bit basic but also sophisticated.

Will I keep it or pass it on? I’m not sure, but if I pass this or the other one she’s sending me on, it’s already decided on who top offer it to. It’s definitely good to try this. I’m looking forward to trying the other one.

Nice review! I find it fascinating to see how the same bra works differently for 2 people of the same size. Super helpful for future purchasers

    • 2

veggiechic I LOVE seeing how they fit different people!

Like Calluna said, once I see how certain bras fit, I can more easily predict how others will fit them.

Nora is a rogue bra for Gorsenia, but I know exactly how it differs from all my others, and how those differences affect fit for me, so I wanted to see it on Calluna who is full on the bottom like me (same measurements at apex of breast) but more shallow on top with softer tissue.

How is this bra different from all my other Gorsenia soft cups?

Has lightly padded side slings (no other soft Gorsenia that I own -and I have about 20-has this. In fact, no other bra that I own of any brand has padded side slings!)

Gore tilts in a bit (this is what is causing you discomfort, Calluna. I have an EM half lace BM that did that - I bent the gore out and now it's perfect)

Gore is a tiny bit splayed at the bottom.

Cups are wider on this bra. Calluna wait until I send you one with the usual width wires...THEN you'll see narrow wires with projected cups! I bow at the feet of Gorsenia wires. I am certain Happy2BraShop would support me on this!

Cups are a little shorter and more closed at the top. They tilt in a bit.It also has no lace/embroidered mesh panel at the top - just a piece of black applique (its called applique, Calluna - like is sewn onto wedding dresses ;)

Black colourway, so it's a little "stiffer". Does that make sense? I have 3 black Gorsenias and while they technically fit (barely), they are definitely a little smaller and the fabric is stiffer. They make me size up. They feel tight and stiff when new but become much better after washing. That being said, for black knit/satin, I prefer Krisline and Kinga. Krisline has the SOFTEST most stretchiest (3-way, btw. Great even tension) and comfy knits for panties, bands, etc.

@Calluna PLEASE review the Sekret. I really don't mind if people know that I sent it to you to try. Every review and photos help others.

    • 1

Oh, oh, oh - I think I know why the shape from the side isn't "optimal". The wires on this bra are a little more open, more swoosh shaped, on the outside edge. Its not pushing the tissue on the outer upper quadrant of your breast completely forward.

    • veggiechic it is, isn’t it? I’m super glad that I got the chance to try it. It’s definitely helpful to see how the bra fits on different shapes within the same size range.

AGBras sooo much good feedback! I was really surprised that they padded the side slings. I would completely agree with you that it’s a bit more closed off on top. And yes, appliqué! That’s it! I will see if I can do something about the gore tilt. I’ve never bent wires before. Regarding the shape, I don’t have a lot of outer fullness to really bring in, but I think it’s possible that I don’t have quite enough side coverage which could mean that it is a little bit too small (side boob) which reinforces why it feels a bit snug despite the 29” stretched measurement and the shape (almost upside down 7). I’m going to try it again later to see what the side coverage is like because it’s possible that it just looks a bit small from the side due to the angle of the pictures and holding the phone. I really appreciate your kindness for sending me the bras. And yes, I will absolutely review Sekret once you transfer it to me. I did not want to add from the page since it was your bra and I want to keep the bra chain going properly.

    • Calluna you aren't imaging things. Because the wires "swoosh" on the outside, they dont come up as high.

    • 2

Very helpful review, and good extra information from AGbras. Good luck with your next bras from AGBras.

    • Thanks!

    • 1

Great review! The black satiny fabric looks nice and super expensive. That's so awesome that you and AGBras have the same size but different shapes! Great to see all the differences in fit. 🙂

Daisy Dream fits exactly how I have come to expect Gorsenia softcups to fit me - PERFECTLY!!!

Daisy Dream is a soft pink bra with silver accents in the embroidery. The pink is sophisticated - it has a ... grey tinge to it.

The bottom of the cups and the cradle are pink satin knitwear. The sides of the band are power mesh. The top panel of the cup is pink and silver embroidery. The straps have small satin bows and the gore has a satin bow with a candy pink crystal decoration.

The panties to this bra are classic cut briefs - a style that I would never wear before I started buying Gorsenia. They are so pretty. Always super pretty, with a great fit and so they never look like granny panties. These are stretch satin knitwear with a large panel of embroidery at the front that matches the top panel on the bra.

Gorsenia soft cups give me everything that I like about Ewa Michalak half lace BMs at a much lower price point and in a greater variety of styles and colours!! In fact, they are the power horses in my bra drawer...perfect for everyday wear.

Thank you to MagdaBras4you for helping me to get this set https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

About me: center full and close set, full on bottom with tall sloping roots that make me functionally even in some respects, narrow and projected

About the bra: seemless sheer-ish foam cups that are wonderfully narrow and deep (I'll have to compare measurements, but I think it's comparable to Simena); band is tighter and less itchy than some gorsenias I've tried, but it doesn't have uniform stretch? Tension? The elastic is tighter than the band.

I am so torn about this bra. It has so much that works more me that few other bras do:
    * the cup separation isn't too splayed, so I have enough room at the center ... and the wires don't sit on any tissue;
    * the cups are beautifully narrow U shapes that don't come up too high for me;
    * the fabric disappears on me, making it an option for t shirts (which I currently lack).

    And now the cons:
    * The cup height/strap placement combo cuts in above my arm pits;
    * The fabric is texturally awful for me personally - if you have sensory issues with things with ridges, this may be a problem for you;
    * The bottom elastic on the band is tighter than the band overall, making it cut in.

Who would this work for? Someone like me (see above) who is taller or has more padding or a better tolerance for stuff rubbing above the arm pits and who wouldn't mind an extender until the bottom elastic on the band chills out a bit.

I'm contemplating modifying this somehow because the cups are so perfect and that's so rare for me to find, but even if I did have the skill level (I don't), I'm pretty sure I can't handle working with that fabric for any length of time.

This is the first full lace Gorsenia that I have tried and let me say: it does NOT fit like all my other soft cups (which are satin knitwear on the bottom and either embroidered mesh or stretch lace on top).

This bra is SMALLER! It is only because it is stretch lace that it fits ( and it BARELY fits - but i suspect a 65h would be a little too big).

The cups are more narrow and less deep, wings are lower and the gore is a little wider also. I have added measurements.

So, if you have been following my adventures and comments about Gorsenia, please keep this ... in mind. This lace style is about 1/4 cup size smaller than all my other 65Gs.

That being said, it is a beautiful bra in an unusual colour lace that has a soft gleam to it and it's matching panties are sexy and have lace in the back creating a Brazilian look despite being a full coverage cut.

****edit: I decided to order this bra in size 65H (that one is reviewed as well) and it fits PERFECTLY...

Such useful information! Very helpful for those inbetween sizes.

    • 1

Yup. Thé 3 full lace styles are definitely smaller. brasaremean had quadding in her Simena but i bet if she took a half satin knit in the same size it would fit her. rachaelll has had the opposite need; the knit was too big but simena fits perfectly

    • 1

April, I would normally wear a 65J in EU size so that would explain the quadding as well. I just read that these polish ones run slightly larger (which for Ava is definitely true) so I got 65I because I'm on the smaller size of 30GG.

    • brasaremean i find Krisline and Kinga unlined balcony sizing much like EM. Their halfcups fit smaller. But Ava and Gorsenia balconies are a touch smaller than EM and KL.

    • Thank you. Very useful information.😘

    • Maybe it depends on the size AprilGoulding as the 65I I got is about the same as 65GG EMs I have. Actually without the elastic it fits almost exact same, and has more projection at the wire.

This bra is super beautiful and is my best fitting bra that I have right now! It's only a bit loose in the band so maybe it would've been best to get it in a 28GG rather than a 30G but I can just fasten it at the tightest. There's no wrinkling or gaping whatsoever and no tissue coming out either! I dont have too much knowledge about my shape and size but I know I have a lot of immediate projection and an average or narrow root. The cup although not padded gives a really rounded and nice look, especially compared to my Freya Patsy plunge thats also not padded, which gives me my most pointy shape...
Im really happy with this bra and Im hoping to find more that fit the same. Also im close set and the gore is fine for me, and the wires are more narrow than wide so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who has wide roots!!

NOTE: This is a wider Gorsenia. The average data Bratabase shows for this model (and all wider Gorsenia models) is incorrect. Please view the individual bra measurements to ensure you purchase what will best fit.

So beautiful, but one size too small. See this review of the 65H for more details: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dilm9/

Note: This bra has a significantly wider cup (5.8") than Bratabase's average (5.2"). I've measured both cup wires four times. The dimension is correct. Gorsenia has two or more cuts for their unlined balconnette bras; one that has a wider wire (K000-K199) and another with a narrow wire (K200+). These are the only designations I've been able to determine by perusing the limited data here. Heartfelt appreciation to everyone who adds data!!

Soon, I'll receive a 65H K200+ balconette which will help further delineate the different patterns. Confusing for those of us new to the brand, but we're all learning https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

  19. Dorothy (K439)

    Measurement In

    Fits ribcage 27.3
    B. perimeter 10.5
    Stretched Band 33.0
    Band Length 23.0
    Cup width 4.75
    Cup depth 9.75
    Wire length 10.0
    Cup height 7.0
    Cup separation .70
    Gore height 2.5
    Wing height 3.0
    Strap width .6
    Strap length 15
    Hooks 2

Finally found one! In a size that matches! 4.75" wide wires are the narrowest things on the actual planet! Swapped them for my old #42 wires which it tolerates ok.

Unlike Black Orchid's vintage conical styling, Dorothy is fairly rounded & center-full friendly. However not so very much. Which one one hand works well for my depth needs, but at the cost of squashing my otherwise round but not large, inner breast flat as the perimeter pulls tightly from larger outer breast tugging entire cup ... over. So center and inner to gore goes completely flat.

This is in keeping with the brands' overall 'smaller very full breast' patterning which is getting me by, till we eventually stumble upon 'huge full root/short breast, with all side and bottom projection and tons of immediate depth, and a minimizer center with no conical angling'.

Alas. We are not there yet. So Dorothy becomes part of the rotation despite being too small by the numbers.

    Didn't fit

About me: center full, close set, full on bottom with tall, sloping roots, narrow and projected.

Band is truer to size/less stretchy than other gorsenia's I've tried. It is itchy but I don't know why.

The cups are deep and narrow, but they are too splayed/separate at the bottom for me while requiring more upper center fullness. I think I need gores that are narrow from top to bottom, not V shaped like this one. I tried an extender in case the band was too tight and was distorting the cups, but it didn't help.

Fir someone who is center full and full on top, I think this would work well. The lace at the top/top center of the cups is stretchy and shouldn't cut in.

    • I have the same problem with those gores, and yes! Something about the bands are itchy!

    • Calluna I know, right?! The fabric feels fine to the touch, yet it's so itchy! I move the tag to and fro and to again, still itches! It could be something on the fabric, but none of the itchy handed bras have made it into my collection so I don't know if washing helps.
