I've been looking a simple, every day beige bra that wasn't so precious (I.e. $) that I'd be worried about wearing it to work. I'm a meal prep chef and I often splash oil or sauce on myself and even with an apron, every now and again something will seep through. If oil stained and ruined a $100 bra, I'd lament for days.
Anyways...I read here on BtB that this style was narrow with deep cups so I took a chance and ordered 65G.
It's pretty much a perfect fit. And, it's pretty for a beige bra.
Is it an EM? No. Absolutely not. But, to be honest, ...it's not far off my bibi Blanca in terms of style and fit and quality, too. I'd say just 1/2 step down with difference in band firmness being notable.
For the money, I'll happily wear it cooking.
It gives a slightly less rounded shape than my bibi, but I like the natural profile for everyday wear. The straps are nice and not too wide set. And yes, the wires are very, very narrow. So narrow, that when I took this bra out of the box, my first thought was, "there is no way this is going to be big enough." But...Perfect. Awe-sum-ness.
I'll load more pics and measures tonight. Read more 108 more words
I really wish this fit! It should but I am getting wrinkling on the top of the cup on my smaller side and the lace waves on both sides. The band on this is quite stretchy too. I can easily go to the second set of hooks already. I do love the quality of this bra though and I did get a good tack with the gore despite it being a higher gore. It was on sale at Brastop so I gave in and ordered the size down. Trying new brands can be so expensive but I have been curious about Gorsenia for awhile. ...The shaping is lifted and a little rounder than my other Polish bras. That may change when I get a size smaller as the cups are slightly too large. I suspect this bra may be better for full on top shapes but I will not know for sure until I get a better size that fits better. Added to the database for measurements - I am the first in this style and Gorsenia does not have that many measurements to look at yet. Read more 83 more words
I was so excited to get this bra because I love Gorsenia and really needed a neutral colored bra for under white shirts. Unfortunately, this wasn't it. Eva seems to run small. The bottom of the cups were so tight that I had massive wrinkling and a weird torpedo shape - perhaps this is a shallow Gorsenia? The fabric is stiff and unforgiving. I'd gotten used to the satiny, luxurious feel of Gorsenia, but Eva is more utilitarian in the fabric. The lace is pretty and the embroidery flows from the top of the cup over the gore. Yet, of all the Gorsenias I've tried (this is my fourth), this one lacks the opulence and detail I've found in the other styles. I also found the band tighter than their other styles.
Sizing down from a H in this bra definitely helped! My larger side is happy and the lace is smooth but the lace still waves on my smaller side along with some slight wrinkling at the top. This is what I struggle with in unlined bras. Asymmetry is that much more noticeable and I suspect I could still go down one more size and be just about right. Cup depth is only .5" difference from the H although measuring cup depth in soft bras is tricky to say the least. I am becoming more of a fan of the soft cups lately given they don't make my chest so front and center and tend to give a rounder shape. The gores seem to tack easier as well.
I am going to throw this in the wash once and shrink it a little for a slightly firmer fit.
I still believe this bra is the best for full all over breast shaping compared to my FOB.
