  1. S Mojito (828)

I just got this bra today and I love the fit. I usually get a 70J, and I'm not sure if the 70JJ is just overall a better size or if the 4 part cup construction is a better shape match or both, but this bra seems to be a much better fit for me than the 70J S cut bras. I like the color on it, but (in my opinion) its less bright than the website makes it appear. I'm not sure how the color will look on me once summer is over and I lose my tan.

For a little extra info, this band seems to run a little tighter than most of my other EM 70 bands, and this bra has an overlapping gore.

    • good to know its not quite that bright. in case i ever get desperate.

    • 1

It is still fairly bright, but I expected something almost neon I guess

    • I want an S but dont like bright colors. I'm still holding my breath for the magique, but i'm starting to feel desperate! Glad this one fits better. I have considered going up to a K, as my panterra is a little small at times

    • I think on me the 4 part cups fit better giving more room in the lower cup and better lift . I was thinking about ordering this one in this size but now that I see the depth of only 12.4" I am glad I changed my mind at the last minute and went with my first thought of trying the new sf in a 70k we will see , I am soft so am compressible it might have worked but I am getting tired of squeezing into all my bras half of the month . I will keep this review in mind if I do get this one might have go bigger than I thought . Your review helps a lot thank you for taking the time to measure .

    • 1

Yeah I was actually surprised by the depth measurement since it's similar to my 70Js so I rechecked and the measurement was right. But I think you're right that the bottom of the cup has more depth, so overall there's still more volume

    • 1

Ewa manages to hold a lot of boob with very small measurements. i was told partly its due to having such narrow wires, there's less empty space around the outside. Idk. I do mound up over the top a lot.

it always kinda cracks me up that ppl in smaller sizes say the S is very closed on top - it sure is not for me. Its like a cup-of-boob, with the entire top uncovered, almost

    • I actually do usually find them to be pretty closed on top (though this one definitely isn't). It varies a little based on the bra itself, but my Granatowa Pantera is pretty closed off, though it's fine for me since I'm short rooted. Maybe it's the 3 part versus 4 part construction

    • Maybe its what we are comparing them to? I mean, compared to a jasmine? Other than EM, I only wear full coverage bras. Because I'm so soft, i would fall out. I feel like there's a ton of boob showing in my Ss. 75JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Granatowa Pantera 75J - Ewa Michalak » S Eden (730)

Or maybe I need to go up another size. Idk

    • Here's the side profile of my Pantera: http://bra.pe/I4W0/

I think it looks a lot more closed than yours does, so it might be a cup construction thing. My S Mojito has the same level of openness as your Pantera

    • Because I think yours have all been a 4 part cup construction whereas up until now, mine have all been 3 part constructions. So I think that's probably where the line is between being kind of closed off on top versus being pretty open on top

    • oh, right, i was thinking my eden was 70J, but its 75

    • 1

kermitdafrog21 I too have found not much cup depth difference in 70J vs 70JJ S bras. I guess it's just due to that being the 3-4 part cup jump. It's almost like you have to jump from 70J to 70K to get more room in the cup.

It looks great on you, though! Such a pretty color.

    • BumbleBean I actually have a 70K that will be here eventually (I found one on allegro really cheaply so I figured why not), so I'll have to compare it when it gets to me. I'm actually not sure exactly which bra it is (they didn't write the name), but its definitely an S cut

    • 1

it looks sooo good on you!!

    • I dont think the pictures were up when I first saw this . . .that does look like a much nicer color than i thought

    • 3

dbmamaz Yeah, I hadn't put up pics yet when you first commented. Its more toned down than the stock photos, and also bluer. Actually oddly enough, I realized its the same color as my computer case, my phone case, and the shirt I was wearing when it arrived lol

Update: I don't really wear this bra. The straps kill my shoulders. Way too much room in the cups. I think I've tightened the straps to get a better shape from the cups and that's what is causing the pain to my shoulders.

Much nicer than a basic black lace bra. I love the wine color in the bows and how it matches the color in the lace. I have gained a little weight. My 65JJs are all too tight in the band and are quadding. I purchased extenders and even with them I am still quadding. I purchased some 70JJs with mixed results. This bra is definitely wearable but there's a lot of extra room in the stretch upper portion of the cup.

IMO that extra room doesn't matter. The sizes seem to get wonky near the upper end of the range and it really looks like a good fit from your photos.

    • 1

Thank you. As long as my support isn’t sacrificed, I don’t mind it.

    • 2

This looks lovely on you. In the right size I also get the loose lace on top but I've grown to not mind it... really better than cutting in.

    • Thank you! I did some research on here and it seems if I go to a 70J in the BMs - the band ends up being 2.5 inches longer than the 70JJ. Why though? I would rather have the loose lace than a too long band.

    • 3

It's Ewa... she is consistently inconsistent.

    • 1

It is far better to have some flexibility to that upper lace, with a bit of grow room, than to be maxing out the lace tension for sure. I think it looks like a good fit.
It is a very beautiful bra!
And thank you for adding the measurements too!!!

    • 1

This BM doesn't give me a pointy look AT ALL… I am seriously considering ordering some more BMs

    • 2

BM is a great cut! So very shape forgiving.

    • I've gotten pointy profiles from them years previous, that's why I gave them up for the SF.

    • 2

I love the BM, it is my favorite style, with the SF being a close second. The BM is more comfortable for sure.

    • 3

Looks good. I think as long as the lace lies flat and your support isn't compromised it's all good :)

I also find the stretch lace to be more forgiving than the stretch tulle as it pertains to quadding.

Hard to explain how lovely this bra looks. Most elegant and vavavoom beige bra I've ever owned. I purchased bras one band size up and one cup size up from my long time 65JJ size after gaining weight, with mixed results. This bra seems just too similar in fit to my 65JJ Sfs. It will work, however.

Sorry the band is so small. It looks like the rouge seamstress strikes again!
It looks lovely and hopefully it will soften up with wear.

    • 2

My SF Glad is brutally tight too. It's a 65, just like my Maryna, but it's a lot tighter. I can't wear it 2 days in a row (not that I'd ever be so inclined to do that anyway lol) I also find the mesh top looser than the lace on the Maryna. Consistently inconsistent :/ .

    • I wore it today with the extender for about 7 hours and the band was actually hurting me. I feel betrayed!

    • 2

      That is horrible! Sorry. :-(
Ewa's consistently inconsistent is getting out of hand......

    • 1

Not all her fault… I put on 10 lbs the latter half of last year

    • 2

While that can effect fit, this is up a band from your regular size and logically should fit. A 70 band should stretch to more than 31" regardless, especially since several of the 60 bands by Ewa do. Seriously, this isn't your fault.

I'm trying not to get too excited (we've all been burned before by thinking a bra was the last model we'd ever buy, only to later discover hidden discomforts), but this is probably the most comfortable first wear I've ever had. The gore and wings are low enough to be appropriate for my short roots, and it's open enough on top that I have minimal quadding (and the quadding I do have would likely be solved by sizing up since the gore doesn't quite tack either). The cleavage I get in this bra makes up for it enough that I'm not mad about it. The material doesn't feel ... particularly luxurious, but it's a nice enough basic beige bra and will immediately be going into my regular rotation. I bought a size up from my SM Czarna Mgiełka, which was previously my only great fit, and I would probably size up one more to eliminate the quadding and get the gore to tack. There's a tiny bit of wrinkling under my left breast, which is the more immediately projected one, but overall it's the best bra with padding I've worn in a really long time.

So I decided to try and sister size my bra size. It didn't work out the way I wanted it to work, unfortunately. The band actually felt tight on this one, which is weird because it doesn't measure that small. I didn't particularly care for the clasps they used in place of the sliders to adjust the straps either--SUPER annoying. The cups wrinkled a lot too, but mainly at the tops of the cups. If I had to guess, I would say with the depth I measured, this bra is a cup to a cup and a half bigger than what I need. Debating on sizing up the band even. Hm.

    • I loved the sliders on Absynt! 😍 I love how our tastes vary, haha. Sorry it didn't workout.
How does the band feel with the bra on inside out? Maybe the elastic is more biting, causing it to feel too tight when it's really just the material?

    • 2

MamaPagan Hold onto your hats.. I just re-tried it and adjusted the straps a BUNCH, and the bra fits pretty dang well! I'll upload pictures when I have time. I'll have to update my review too :) The sliders are cool in theory :P

This bra is very nice looking, though I think I might like it better if the cup color wasn't so close to a nude for me (though I lighten quite a few shades in the winter, so we'll see how I feel about it a few months down the road).

However the fit is definitely not where I'd like it. The pictures don't do a very good job of capturing it, but I quad a lot when I leave the pads in it (which is what I normally do with my S cut bras). It fits pretty well when I take the pads out, but usually if I wear my S bras without the pads, they tend to slide down throughout the day since I have very little bottom tissue. The band is also quite big, probably a full band size. I'm probably going to be starting the bra either on the second to last or last set of hooks.

I am a HUGE fan of medium-tone beige bras, as there don't seem to be many on the market. I have very cool, pink-toned skin, so beige bras with a yellow undertone clash and make me look washed-out. These yellow-toned "nudes" also don't really disappear under thin or light clothing for me because of the contrast with my skin tone, especially in the summertime when I have a bit of a tan, as I do now. I was actually quite happy with the color of my 70J - Ewa Michalak » S Karmelki (540) and 70J - Ewa Michalak » S Rarytas (595) ... , but both of these bras had a shiny ribbon along the cups that created contrast. The body of the cups themselves was invisible under clothing; however, that shiny ribbon was more obvious than if I had worn a black bra under a white t-shirt. The color of my 70J - Ewa Michalak » Chp Marcepan (514) is absolutely perfect, but the lace along the edge is white, bulky and created contrast as well (you will see I later removed it.) I was very happy to finally see a medium-toned beige bra without ornamentation that could be used as a true nude for me. Yes, I know I am very fussy about "nude" colored bras!

When I saw the Ewa Michalak S Orzechowa Pralinka released, I immediately emailed to ask if it could be custom made into different cuts. I wanted this bra in every cut available. Unfortunately, I was told that it was only to be available as the S cut. Since that was the case, I decided to order 2 different sizes since I am right on the edge of where the cup construction changes. EM's bras in 70J and below (and sister sizes) are made with 3-part construction; bras in 70JJ and above (and sister sizes) are made with 4-part construction. I was hoping to use the 3-part 70J when I wanted to show a bit more cleavage and the 4-part 70JJ when I wanted more coverage and a rounded shape.

The appearance of the bra itself is quite simple but elegant. I also own Ewa Michalak Sm Cynamon (517) and compared it to this one. The material of the band and the straps is the EXACT same materials from the Cynamon. The cups seem to be made of a neutral colored foam that is covered in a translucent mesh fabric, which you should be able to see in some of my pictures. I wish the cups were covered with the same fabric as the band, but oh well. The mesh fabric doesn't seem as luxurious as some of their usual fabrics, which I guess the lower price point reflects (149 PLN instead of the 179-199 PLN that has become the norm for her padded bras.) The main difference in the 70J and 70JJ, besides the obvious 3 and 4-part cup construction, is that the 70J only has 2 hooks whereas the 70JJ has 3.

As far as the fit, I really didn't see much difference in cup depth between the 70J and 70JJ. Sure, the fit and shape is different because the cups are constructed differently, but the cup depth is nearly identical. I was hoping to have a larger bra to turn to when I need it, but it seems I would need to size up another cup (70K) to get a noticeable difference. Also, the gores on S bras never really truly tack on me due to my close-set breasts, but it's never a comfort issue. I am absolutely fine with a "soft tack" and sometimes mark my bras as fitting even when they don't truly tack.

  8. Pl Porcelanka

This bra is a custom order from Ewa Michalak and is not advertised on their site. I already owned the 70JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Porcelanka, and I felt the nude color was absolutely perfect. I wanted a plunge in nude as well, but I really didn't want any of the other offerings available (for example, Ewa Michalak Pl Cielus (162) would have been too pale for my skin, but Ewa Michalak Pl Karmelki (260) would have been too dark.) I knew I would have been unhappy with any color other than Porcelanka, so I emailed and requested ... a Pl be made with the same material as S Porcelanka. I also requested that I did not want the lace along the edges as in the S version (it is very noticeable under all of my thinner shirts.) There was a little bit of confusion about this request due to the language barrier, but I emailed a picture with an arrow pointing to the lace, and then it was understood. So remember, if someone can't understand your words, send a picture. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

After I placed my order, I emailed back a couple of days later to ask if I could change the size to 70K (since I had not paid yet because they had not sent me an invoice.) Unfortunately, I was told that production had already started and it was too late. I thought that was odd since I hadn't paid for it yet, but I guess there was nothing I could do about it.

I finally just paid on my own from my account on their website since I never got an invoice. I got charged the 6% PayPal fee twice, but I emailed Dominik and he refunded me the overcharge the very next day.

Much to my surprise, the bra was ready within a week of me emailing and ordering it. Even more surprising, it arrived to me in Canada within a week of them shipping it! So, this custom order bra only took 2 weeks from the time I ordered it. I was very, very pleased with the turnaround time.

When I opened the box, I was so happy to see it was PERFECT. There was no lace just as I requested, and everything about the bra was identical to the S version (except it was a Pl instead.)

I'm actually glad I didn't get the 70K because this one fits pretty good as is! I've had a few different EM plunges, some in 70J and some in 70JJ, but this one definitely fits the best (meaning I don't have crazy quad boob or spillage in the middle.) The band is nice and firm, and the shape is lovely, of course. My only complaint would be that the straps seem a little too stretchy (maybe the part that cannot be adjusted is too long?) We'll see how that holds up, and I guess if worse comes to worse, I can just shorten the straps. Now that I think about it, my lack of quad boob may be due to the straps not holding me up enough. Well, it's not enough of a problem to get all worked up over.

So, my first custom order experience with Ewa Michalak is an A+! I am no longer afraid. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

**EDIT: I can now confirm my lack of quad boob is due to the straps being unusually long and not being able to provide enough "lift." They have stretched out some, and I can no longer adjust them to the tightness I need (and I have never had this problem on any other bra.) I may take this bra to a tailor shop to have the non-adjustable part shortened. Just based on my own holding up of the straps, this will likely cause me to have quad boob. Oh well! I'll just deal with it until I get another nude bra. I know for future reference that I need a cup size larger than this for the Pl style.

I love this bra. I originally wrote a review of it on my blog (link below) but it was based on the 34/75J which ended up being too loose in the band. I therefore reordered it in a 32/70JJ.

The band on this one fits me much better but the cups don't seem to meet the usual sister sizing rules and I feel as though I should have gone up another cup size. Unfortunately I have removed the tags and handwashed the bra so can't return it.

That said, I will still wear it on my 'smaller' days as it is a gorgeous bra which gives great support.

The S Mimi is a soft pink as shown on the website (and in my pictures) with the pretty design along the rim of the cup (be warned, it shows through a lot of shirts as either a lumpy design or something quite visible.) It fits fairly true to size as an Ewa and is comparable to the other 70JJ that I have, but had failed to measure when it was still new.

Most importantly, the band fits true to size as well, which I know can be a hit or miss when it comes to this brand. It doesn't feel too loose nor anywhere too tight given ... the size. Then again, I am used to this brand running their bands on the tighter side to begin with.

The S shape is also my cup of choice because of the shape that it gives. The description on the website is just what it sounds like for anyone new to Ewa. It helps lift and center your breasts to the front of your body and to help explain that, my biceps don't really rub against the sides of my breasts when I have them at my side, not that that would be the endall to if a bra fits or not.

As with most, if not all, of this brand, the straps do sit a bit wide and can cause discomfort in the underarm area from the pressure that can occur throughout the day. I did not move the straps on this bra as I have on her others as I didn't feel these were too terribly wide set.

Ewa Michalak only makes my proper band size as a custom order so I purchased this bra one band size up with the intention of altering it. This is the first bra I’ve purchased from Ewa Michalak and I struggled to figure out exactly what size to order. I think I would have had more success with this bra if I had purchased it in a 70J and then shortened the band or probably a 65JJ if I custom ordered it.

This bra is very beautiful and I’d love to buy it in another size, but it just doesn’t fit me correctly enough to justify trying to alter more ... than the band with my limited sewing ability. The underwires are a bit too wide (though they are much better than the rest of the brands I’ve tried so far!), the band is of course too big (which is obviously my fault) and the shoulder straps are a bit too far apart which makes it sit funny on me (I think this is what is causing the gaping in the photos). Still though, It’s definitely a high quality bra and would fit someone else very well!

    • So, I have 2 EM bras, a 70HH BM and a 70J S. The HH is a bit small in the cups, and the J is small in the band (super tight cloth, I guess, tho even unstretched, its smaller) . I usually wear a 32J in Panache (floris and envy). I see that this stretches almost to 32 inches, which sounds like my size, but JJ is likely too big - do you know your size in either Floris or Envy?

    • dbmamaz I have only tried 4 bras from Panache, and unfortunately neither Floris nor Envy, sorry. I have Panache Bella (30J), Melody (30J), Delilah (30J), and Jasmine (30JJ). I'm planning on reviewing and listing them soon.

The underwire on the Jasmine ends in the middle of my armpit and dug into them so badly it's a torture to wear. The underwire also rubs somewhere in between my boobs as well, but I'm too afraid to even bother trying it to find out right now haha. I have very closed-set breasts and I remember the underwire was way too high. This was a problem with all 4 Panache bras to varying degrees. Panache doesn't have much of a selection of Plunge bras in large cup sizes so I opted for buying whatever I could get in my size.

The Bella is the most tolerable of all of them. The gore is a little wide and high and the underwire ends almost at my back but with some bending of the underwires it is fairly comfortable to wear. :P Before I bent the underwires it was impossible to wear.

If you like, I can take a look for where I left my Melody and Delilah today and let you know why they were a bad fit. I don't think Panache is for me, as the underwires seem to consistently be just way too wide for me. Unfortunately I ordered all 4 at once online and shipping was too expensive to justify returning them. :P

I uploaded two photos of the EM bra and two of me wearing it, which I'm told will be added in about an hour. Now that I've thought about it a little more, I think the straps being too wide are actually the main reason the rest of the bra doesn't fit (other than the band size and underwire width, which I mentioned in my review). There's extra space at the top that completely goes away if I pull the fabric to where I'd expect the straps to be.

    • Thanks - so, is this band too big for you? The cups clearly look big - to wide and then empty space near the center. I really think I'm a J in EM, but I hear sometimes the padded ones fit differently. I'm still afraid I'd fall out of the PL tho. I really LIKE high gores. My boobs almost touch, but if you push them apart, they dont complain. Its like the skin at the center lets the boob flesh seep under it, but it doesnt really belong there? and without a high gore, I just fall out - very soft and center-heavy.

    • dbmamaz So I double checked and the band is indeed too big for me. I didn't measure the extra space but I think I could stuff my hand in there if I tried as the band is fairly stretchy.

Also just for clarity's sake, in the photos I'm wearing the bra with the included removable pads. I wouldn't normally wear them but as the bra is already a bit too big I didn't think at the time that it would make a difference.

I think the gore gets higher up as you go to a larger cup size (this bra included), which is disappointing for me but I guess great for you!

Are there some other pictures I can take for you that will help you ascertain the gore height and fit a little better before I sell it? Unless if plans change, I'm hoping to exchange it for the EM PL Laguna in 65JJ on Friday.

    • I appreciate it but dont worry, I'm not really ready to buy another bra anyways, just kinda trying to get a feel for it all. thanks

Fits really well. Gore tacks. I feel supported. Band is a hair loose and there's a tiny bit of wiggle room in the bra. Since I'm losing weight, maybe I should order a 65JJ or 65K instead?

This bra is a very lovely purple color with contrasting black lace. The lace is rwally pretty, but the top edge is not sewn down, so it folds over. Not a huge isdue, but a little irritating. I like that it has buttons instead of bows.
It fits okay, but I think a cup size down might work better.

    SF Royal Blue in 70JJ
This bra is added for data purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database, but since I did measure it, I decided to add it anyway.

SF Royal Blue is what EM classifies as a Semi Soft underwire bra. This is misleading, as Semi Soft indicates half padded, which this is not. The top is a stretchy sheer lace, and the bottom is a stiffer layer of double lace over tulle type fabric. If held up to the light, you can still see through it. These SF bras are NOT padded in any way. That ... aside, the bra is gorgeous!

The band measures 24.5” to a max of 33.5” & has 3 hooks but 4 rows of eyes.

The cups measure 12" (measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without resistance) but stretch to 14.5"max over the knee. The lace tops are very stretchy allowing for size variation between sides, as well as weight gain/loss and changes due to hormone fluctuations. The cup construction consists of 5 sections-3 lower vertical sections, 1 upper horizontal section, and an outer wedge that connects the cups to the straps.

It is this outer wedge section, that is stiffened like the lower sections, that causes many discomfort during wear. Narrowing this section slightly while lowering the armpit curve often helps eliminate this pain without needing to actually move the straps in.

The band is firm; I can feel it prominently on my rib cage. That said, it is holding my very large, heavy breasts fairly ‘up’, and I am sitting up, not sleeping! I wear a 32H in most bras (UK size) and I think this is quite comfortable for lounging, or even for errands out of the house. The shape for me is super round and mono boobed, like a sports bra, and style-wise, this isn’t to my taste. But all told, it’s the best I’ve found, comfort-wise, given my large size.

I bought this bra and the 70J at the same time for size comparison. To be honest, the cup volume actually seems lower for the JJ than the J, but my breasts are very soft and malleable, so that may be a factor. The cup construction is different from the J to the JJ, the J is a 3 part cup, two sides and a top piece. The JJ has two sides, a middle piece, and a top piece. I find the 3 piece cup to be a slightly better shape under clothes. The 3 piece cup comes to a subtle point where the two sides join and are probably not noticeable to anyone who isn't looking for it. The middle panel of the JJ provides a smoother profile so I prefer it. Otherwise they both fit my larger breast so I wear them both.

They bra is almost identical to the KM-s Grace I already owned, just newer, stiffer fabric and a different color. Love it.

Beautiful bra and wonderful quality. Gore is a bit too low and band is too large.

The shape of this bra is almost a perfect match for me. It stays in my IMF so well that before hooking the bra, I can slide the front of the bra in place and have it stay there without the straps on. Unfortunately, there is a decent amount of gapping at the top (which I didn't expect due to how well my SM Trefl in the same size fits me). Tightening the straps helps a bit, but the lace still doesn't lie completely flat. Hopefully I'll be able to fill it out during larger portions of the month because I'd hate to have to get rid of it
