I want to mention the top of the cup is tricky to assess. My small side has slight wrinkling, while my larger side is starting to bulge ever so slightly. I tried and tried to make this bra work. I adjusted the straps. The band. Scoop and swoop. In the end, I returned this bra because it was just an odd fit for me.

I have this bra in 60JJ and for some reason it's too small, even though I measured it at the same depth as the other BMs I have in the same size. It also wrinkles a lot on the bottom. I don't know if it is because it is an older model that it was made more shallow or what.

    • I guess I can't input either way haha. I never really tried BM's and when I did, I returned them because I got a terrible fit from them. Maybe you're right though. Could have just been because it's an older model.

    • 2

That is such a shame, I find Apricot to be one of the prettiest bras in this shade I've ever seen. It's hard to believe a BM doesn't work for someone, I guess cause I had such good experience with it!

    • 1

brasaremean oh I loved how well it complimented my skin tone, don't get me wrong as it was quite lovely. I just couldn't make it work.

    • 1

Ashame you couldn't get it to be comfortable for you. It looked so lovely on you and such a nice shape as well!

    • 1

The shape truly was wonderful. I'm hoping sister-sizing down to a 65J will fix things :)

    • 2

I hope the sister size is better. This one looks good though, just not perfect. PS your lips are amazing. (Hoping that didn’t just sound super weird or creepy)

    • Calluna I hope so too! Hahahaha, not creepy. Thanks :)

This is a lovely, simple, easy-to-fit beige bra. The fabric is very stretchy, making the band fit as I would expect from a 32. The cups have enough give to be flexible in sizing as well - I do think this bra is too small for my larger side, but the quadding is mellow and the cup manages to hold the breast well anyways.

While this is really 'just a beige bra' I do find it lovely - the sheer lace, the little center bow, all in all this bra makes me think I could feel happy and confident wearing this under a light colored top.

Of course the seams are slightly visible under a t-shirt (and that is a thick t-shirt), but nothing too distracting or loud.

Looks pretty good! And it is a pretty beige bra. Glad this worked for you after all that waiting :)

    • 1

Oh, and the wires seem to be more comfortable than my Panache wires, too! I dont find it 'amazingly round' as some people say - but its nice enough under a shirt

    • 2

      Looks great!

Btw, the EM unpadded bras aren't really known for being "amazingly round" -- that's the magic of the padded bras. :)

    • Oh, thanks BumbleBean - i hadnt noticed that difference. I still cant imagine wearing a padded bra. I've gotten used to the idea that my breasts are actually somewhat more projected than round, but I hate to add ANY volume to them at all

    • That's a nice looking bra you look good in it.

    • thanks KateWild - but I outgrew it and sold it to someone else. I really did love it

I've only worn this bra for a few hours but so far:

+ Love the shape! Sloping towards the center, yet rounded.
    + Narrow wires
+ Flat seams in the cup, no VBL (visible bra lines) under most tops.
+ Nipples don't show through the fabric.
+ Fully adjustable straps, that keep their adjustments.

    - It's black. Black is not my colour.
    - The top of the cup has no elastic, so it can feel like its not sitting close enough to skin.
    - Straps are difficult to adjust because of the decorations.
    - Too tight band for me (brand new).
    - The center gore is slightly resting on breast tissue (close set boobs).

I'm wearing this with an ... extender, because, frankly, I could use a 75 band. But since we don't know how the band stretches with use, I'll go with 70 for now. (And I'm planning to lose some weight too. It usually leaves my underbust first.)

Some structural features of this bra:
    * The cups are made of a single layer of non-stretchy lace. Nothing else.
    * Center gore, side of wings and the part between cup and strap are of dotty black mesh lined with beige mesh.
    * Backside of bra is a double layer of black stretchy material.
    * No side boning.
    * Four rows of hooks in the back, with 3 hooks each.
    * Fully adjustable straps, with decorative detailing that keeps the slides in place.
    * Black bow between the cups with a silvery square decorated with rhinestones, and a little bit of beige in the middle.

The shape and size of the bra seems to be very close to that of S Czekolada.

    • No lining in the cups?? How is the material on the skin?

Soft, not scratchy. Skin stays inside the fabric and does not bulge throuhg holes.

This is an absolutely amazing bra. It's about one cup size and one band size too big for me, unfortunately. However, because the band is really stable in the back (it doesn't ride up despite being loose) and the bra comes with removable pads, I decided to keep the bra. I have a 31" ribcage and definitely need the 65 band on this bra (I'd say this band runs about a size too big compared to the other Ewa Michalak bras that I've tried).

The comfort straps are really wonderful too. Unfortunately, they don't adjust all the way (the other straps do adjust ... all the way) so that might a problem for more petite women but this bra comes with two pairs of straps so it might just mean that you'd have to stick with the other pair.

I have to say I love the shape this bra gives too. Hands down my favorite in this respect too. It also seems to add about an inch to my bust due to the lift so that's something to be aware of when dressing.

As for comfort, I have zero complaints there. I feel like I could wear this bra all day every day.

I purchased this bra along with my Kwiaty here, figuring two period bras are better than one. This is a cute bra, I'm not a huge fan of the pink/purple that's on it, but I'm not going to nit pick about it.

This bra just went through my work test today. I have some small gaping in the right breast, something I didn't have in the Kwiaty, but it's so tiny that putting the pad in would be overkill IMO. I have the same digging in at the bottom of the gore on this bra like all of my other S bras. It's not for lack of projection or the wrong size, just a product of my close set breasts.

I really like the little center accent thingamabob (I have no clue what the name of the dangly bit is) because it's the same as my Annika. A cute little cameo style butterfly. All in all, a lovely black bra to add to my collection, though my PL Zlote Oko is still my favorite black bra to date.

I think its a charm? idk

Did you try the pad on the smaller side? I do wear a pad on my smaller side in an S. Once i even accidentally wore two lol.

and i definitely think my center-heavy boobs push down on the gore in my Ss. Which is why I reverse swoop, pulling my boobs towards the outside of the bra, whenever I feel a little pain. It helps let the bra rise back up where it should be, at least for me.

    • 1

dbmamaz idk if it's a charm or not but that's what I'm going with from now on. Also I do the reverse swoop since in some I'll start to quad in the center from my boobs gravitating there, but I haven't had to with my new two (yet). It hasn't helped the pushing thing. It probably wouldn't hurt so bad but my granatowa cutting me hasn't healed yet, then I got contact dermatitis there.

At least I'm not the only one having the problem though. I thought these new gores were supposed to relieve the pain on some of us bigger gals haha

    • 1

ugg . . . as I said, I noticed just this week how much more comfy my 75J - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Fuksja is than my 75JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Granatowa Pantera . . . and its really right there, at the bottom of the wires. however, I was quadding out of my Fuksja yesterday . . . grrr. I want to buy another S and one more EM when that black-on-beige S comes, and I have to decide if it'll be an SM or a BM. I guess I'll have ot wait and see what all is available (and hopefully on sale) when that bra comes out

    • dbmamaz I've been using your reverse swoop trick, and it works for me and my S bras!

moonforehead I've heard others make mention that Curvy Wordy uses the cookies in her EMs even when she has quadding because it shores up the bottom. Something about adding extra support for bigger busts.

    • Wait, new gores?

    • Oh, good, Moon!

I dont really have room on my bigger side for a pad, I dont think. My boobs are so soft they quad easily

    • 1

I think the gores were changed like a year ago - before I started ordering from them, anyways

    • 1

You are so right this is a very nice bra, it gives your breasts a lovely shape and very flattering for you. Looks to fit you fairly well. It is a bit of a shame the you find it digging in to you at the gore but i hope it is not to bad. I am not keen on the purple either but the little charm is very cute. It is great that your happy with it.

I was unsure about this bra online but was swayed by the price. In person though, wow! Gorgeous!! Sheer cups, firm material in the band, fun pink and grey colors, it's a winner. So sad it's too small in the cups though.

This bra is labeled an HP, but on my packing slip and on some website references, it is called a CHP. It is incredibly beautiful! I would say the actual teal color is only slightly darker than it appears in my pictures. Unfortunately, it does not quite fit. Like my PL Bella, the band rides up over time, and I cannot tighten the straps (without band ride up) in order to decrease the gap at the top of the cup. The calculator on the EM website put me in the 70HH size, but I often need a smaller size than calculators suggest, probably due to my being petite/small ... boned for the curves I carry... I do think it will work during that time of month I need a little looser band and cup. In the future, I will probably order a 30-equivalent band from EM. The bands are firmer than some of my 32s in UK brands, but for me this just means I can get a few hours of wear on the tightest hook before it starts to ride up. Despite the fit problems this bra is amazingly comfortable. The lining is nice against the skin, and the lace doesn't show as much as I feared under clothing. The straps are not fully adjustable due to some gorgeous detailing, but even though I'm 5'3 I don't usually have problems with straps adjusting short/long enough.

I’m so close to finding a good bra, but not at the same time!

This S Szykuś bra is the 2nd “S” cut bra that I’ve tried from EM, but if the 1st in my new size.

I went with a 70HH with the idea that my true size is 32GG, but I’m finding that may not be the case. The 70HH is slightly too small, I think, but the band is too stretchy as well. When I have it on the first set of hooks, the gore floats about 2 fingers away and the cups gape at the top. If I tighten to the 3rd set of hooks, ... the gore is only 1 finger away and the cups barely gape anymore! I’m hoping to try a 65J and 65JJ if I can. Once I get a good size figured out for this, I’m hoping to figure out what size I would need for unlined EM bras in my new size.

The S Szykuś is a black bra with lace detailing on the band. It’s made with very soft material. I wouldn’t describe it as nylon, it’s more of a clothing type fabric (kinda like the kind that people call “buttery soft” iykyk). The band is super stretchy. The S cut by EM is advertised as being for those with softer tissue (like me!) to have a fuller look while staying in the “frame of the body.” The strap are not too wide and they adjust fine. The cups seem fairly deep from what I can tell, but I haven’t measured yet as of this writing.

Like I said earlier, I’m hoping to find a good fit with this bra! It has probably been the closest I’ve ever come to wearing a bra with molded cups in years.

    • wow, almost perfection!
I"m actually surprised you say that this black band is loose, usually with all my dark bra, they're tighter. (sometimes it just depends though)
Perhaps Ewa Michalak is not making bands as tight as she used to?
65J or 65JJ? Who knew that would be the correct size in 32GG UK.

    • BraOdyssey yeah, but don’t forget I have floppy windsock boobs, so they probably need more room. 🤣 I’m definitely thinking I’m a 32H for most bras (even though I have yet to find one that fits properly! 😠)

This bra looks much better in real life than it does on the internet. In reality, it is not just a swath of teal fabric. It has more definition.
This is because of the cup's unusual structure. It has a thin inner cup that provides the core of the cup's structure, and then the teal lace is overlaid. It looks cool and will likely photograph badly. But that cup structure that looks so nice when the bra fits properly contributes to in-cup quadding if you are slightly too large for the cup, which I am.

The projection of this bra and its narrowness are perfect. The lace at the top ... is stretch lace that does not cut into the breast at all, with a rare upper finish that is lacking in tension. (Probably a godsend for the full-on-top or those with even shapes.) And the cup structure is very accomodating for all types of breast fullness strucures, since all the fabrics have a gentle stretch. It allows the bra to look really good on, and attempt to suit a lot of people. But it can also disguise any fit issues.

The disguise is quickly unearthed by my posture over the course of the day, though. 😔 The bra is not that supportive, possibly because of the give of all of the fabrics. So it doesn't work properly for me at the size I am now.
When the bra fit perfectly, about 1-2cup sizes back, I had no issues with its support.

It's very comfortable and it's really close to fitting, so much so that I may have the band altered to make it fit. I swear I ordered 65 J but checking back on everying it's showing I ordered 70 HH. I had been told by multiple people to size up so I didn't worry about it. The band is super stretchy I can fit both fists in it on the smallest hook. The straps are changeable and I can make them crisscross or even use as a halter. I've got some center fullness as well as bottom fullness. I've recently tried some full cup bras and they are just way too big on top so, haven't had much luck. I'm starting to think this is the best it's going to get for me.

Just so you know, when I started on my bra journey, I thought i found as good as it gets. Then i tried a few fails, then I found another that seemed ok enough to keep (it was really cheap on amazon), and then i found some that were perfect, and then I gained weight, and then I found some more that were pretty good . . . dont give up. Its the best you have so far, but I bet you'll find better still.

    • 1

:-) Same with me. My actual "the best" is not the one I thought that could be the best six month ago. Newest improvement: I got a Cleo Inca bra with padded straps, which are so soft, they don't cut in at all!
(First bra- improvement: A bra that made it possible to bend my upper back and stretching my arms in ANY direction without getting my boobs squished painfully.)

    • 1

In general EM bands tend to run tighter than a lot of UK brands, but I also found the band on this bra to be weirdly stretchy

    • 1

I've read that a lot about EM bras running tighter the U.K. brands. This has never been the case for me. I take 28 in Cleo, Freya, CK, Comexim and EM. I did find this bra a bit too stretchy in the 60 band, though.

I love this bra! I decided to get a 70HH instead of my supposed real size 70J because I'm short rooted and wanted to err on the side of shorter cups due to the lace. I hope I dont grow any time soon because this is an exact to slightly too small fit. I'm getting a soft tack and a tiny bit of quad. Its comfy under the arms though https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The wires are amazingly narrow. This fits much better than my other S (pretsplanki), which is much taller under the arms and about .5" wider, and a shorter cup depth. Altho I'm thinking I might not be narrow rooted, most of my tissue is on the front so I am glad I actually get to fill out a bra for once https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />

It's a really good basic bra, and I absolutely love the shape this bra gives, but 70HH for my usual 30HH UK size was one size too loose in the band and 1-2 cup sizes too small in the cups. I wear it without pads and I have massive quadboobing if I scoop and swoop and slight quadding if I don't.

I so wanted this one to work! I love Pralinka! I really prefer to wear more basic or neutral colored bras. Pralinka hits the nail on the head, it's a very pretty neutral bra. Unfortunately, the S style from Ewa just doesn't work with my anatomy. The gore is way too tall for me. My breasts are too close set for a gore this height. I really wanted to be able to wear the S style as it looks so gorgeous on many other women. This Pralinka was wore for just a few minutes and still has the tags on. It's too big in the cups for me. I'm still trying to find the right style and size for me in EM bras.

    • Have you tried a PL yet? Lowest gore, I think

    • 1

No, I haven't gotten around to trying the PL yet. But I do have a Comexim plunge that fits much better.

    • You say it's too big, and that might have something to do with the gore being too high. If you went down a size or two, then the gore would be shorter as well. Just a thought! :) Until then, yeah, you might be better off in a PL (plunge). It will have the shortest gore of all padded EM bras and most similar construction to Comexim plunges. The S bra is more like a padded balconette of sorts, although in smaller cup sizes the gore is quite low, almost like a plunge.

    • I have Szykus in a size down and it doesn't fit either. On that one, it squishes me and is super uncomfortable. It also pushes my boobs up and it honestly just makes them look weird.

Before anyone gets too excited, I have to disclose that this bikini was released around 2011 or so (see this blog post from Le Curvy Kitten reviewing the same bikini here: http://kel-kitty.blogspot.ca/2011/10/bikini-bonanza-time-to-wind-down-for.html). I was browsing reddit one day when I saw an listing pop up for an Ewa Michalak bikini, so I HAD to click on it. It's not everyday you see an EM bikini for sale! The size was 70HH, which is smaller than what I usually wear, but I messaged the seller for measurements anyway. Luckily for me, she assured me that it ran quite a bit larger than her bras of the same ... size, and she gave me the cup depth to back up her claim. That's all I needed to decide it would be MINE. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I have been kicking myself for not ordering a bikini from Ewa Michalak when they were available last year, so this was a very exciting purchase. As a bonus, black-white-red is one of my favorite color combinations of all-time, and polka dots have always been a winner in my book.

The bra fits just as the seller described. The style of the bra is a PL, which has a low gore and 3-part padded cups. The cup depth is 13", which is larger than a 70HH padded bra from EM these days. The cup depth is actually very close to my 70JJ - Ewa Michalak » Pl Blekitna Rapsodia (658) . The gore fits nicely right below where my breasts touch, and the wires are very low on the sides. I would actually prefer the wires to be a tad higher to hold in some side boob/fat, but I can't complain much because they are comfortable (we're talking Comexim comfortable!) Also, it makes my boobs look INCREDIBLE. You know it's good when you find yourself saying, "Wow."

You will notice pieces of fabric placed near the hooks/eyes. The purpose of these is to tie them to sort of hide the bra hooks. I think it's a pretty brilliant design aspect. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The only downfall of this bikini I've noticed is the strap material. It is SO SO SO SO stretchy! It's probably a good thing that the bikini will not get as much wear as a regular bra, otherwise I don't know how long these will last. I may look into sewing some sort of reinforcement material under the straps to keep them from stretching out so much.

I don't have the matching briefs, but I do have some solid black ones that will pair nicely. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra is actually really comfortable. It boosts my boobs waaaaay up and provides great support. Sadly this causes an extreme shape under clothes. It actually makes me look like I've gained a few cup sizes.

Also, the seam between the bottom part of the cup and the top part of the cup causes a bit of a cone shape. I wonder if this would soften with washing. Either way, the boob boosting properties of this bra is not for the lighthearted. I find it even more extreme than either the PL, CHP, or CH style. This is also another bra (yay!) where I don't get any wrinkling at the bottom of the cups.

I'm keeping this bra even though the band is a little large. I may add measurements for when I am a bit water-logged, as I think it will actually work quite well for that time of month... It doesn't ride up right away. I have a slight gap at the top of the cup, and if I tighten the straps, the cup fits perfectly. However, that is when the back rides up and straps dig in a bit, so in the future I will order an equivalent of 30 instead of 32/70 as recommended by EM's calculator. I love the height of the center! Many times plunges are ... a little low, and I kind of fall towards the middle creating evil quadra-boob. This one doesn't have that effect at all. The underwire length and placement is perfect for my shape. I am 5'3 and small-framed, so wires are often a little heavy-duty for my - body. These don't dig in anywhere. The details on the bra are beautiful. I didn't realize how pink and brown the bra was from Ewa's website - I think it looks a little brighter on their model. The straps are baby pink along with the ribbon details at the top of the cup and on the side, and the center bow is quite unique! The inside lining is pink cotton and amazingly comfortable. The cups are foam-lined, and add a bit of modesty (no extra bulk). It gives amazing lift and shape. The seams and ribbon across the top can be seen a little through clothing, but I could easily wear it under patterned tops or with a well-fitting cami.

I would like to order from EM again, but now I'm not sure if I'd need a 30HH or a 30J.
