I've only worn this bra for a few hours but so far:
+ Love the shape! Sloping towards the center, yet rounded. + Narrow wires + Flat seams in the cup, no VBL (visible bra lines) under most tops. + Nipples don't show through the fabric. + Fully adjustable straps, that keep their adjustments.
- It's black. Black is not my colour. - The top of the cup has no elastic, so it can feel like its not sitting close enough to skin. - Straps are difficult to adjust because of the decorations. - Too tight band for me (brand new). - The center gore is slightly resting on breast tissue (close set boobs).
I'm wearing this with an ...extender, because, frankly, I could use a 75 band. But since we don't know how the band stretches with use, I'll go with 70 for now. (And I'm planning to lose some weight too. It usually leaves my underbust first.)
Some structural features of this bra: * The cups are made of a single layer of non-stretchy lace. Nothing else. * Center gore, side of wings and the part between cup and strap are of dotty black mesh lined with beige mesh. * Backside of bra is a double layer of black stretchy material. * No side boning. * Four rows of hooks in the back, with 3 hooks each. * Fully adjustable straps, with decorative detailing that keeps the slides in place. * Black bow between the cups with a silvery square decorated with rhinestones, and a little bit of beige in the middle.
The shape and size of the bra seems to be very close to that of S Czekolada. Read more 155 more words
I'm very impressed with the design of Ewa Michalak's SM model. The shape is very uplifted, but still has a natural slope (almost a combo of the "green" and "blue" shapes, according to BrasIHate). In comparison with the HM style, it is less rounded, but still high, front, and center.
Despite the fact that I don't technically fit the 65H SM, I'm fairly satisfied with the bra. Given my experience with extra tight band of the 70G HM Gold, I expected the 65 band would be a bit tight, but I'd rather use an extender for a month and get that much more life out of the bra ...than have it be too loose. At the moment, I'm using only one extra column of the extender.
I've had some tissue migration since buying the 70G HM Gold and I currently fit a 65H CHP, but (unfortunately) the cups of the 65H SM are about one size too large on me. I'm keeping the bra anyways, because it'll be nice to have something a bit roomier during that time of the month and because I can fill it out with a set of asymmetry pads the rest of the time. Plus, it's really not worth the hassle of returning to Poland. I think I could have comfortably ordered a 65GG in the SM style, while properly fitting a 65H in the S and CHP styles.
When I first tried the bra on, I thought it was a little scratchy, but the sensation went away with further wear. Granted, I'm not super sensitive, so those of you with delicate skin may want to investigate further.
Ultimately, I'm satisfied with the SM Trefl. Unlike the HM, it can be worn with lower cut shirts, and I have no concerns about falling into the center (as my breasts tend to do in the PL cut). I will definitely buy more SM bras when they are released, although in one smaller cup size than I wear in S, CHP, CH, or PL.
Edit: I forgot to mention, the SM has the narrowest wires I've ever seen in a bra my size, measuring 5.5" across the cup. It's perfect for those of us with a narrow root. Read more 260 more words
This is one of my first two EM bras with a new cut. I've only had PLs before and know my size in those (65GG). This bra fits pretty much the same, except that the band is a smidge tighter and the cups are about a size too big. It's not too bad though, due to the fact that it's unpadded. I'll definitely keep this bra, as it's very comfortable in every other aspect and very pretty. I'd recommend ordering SM bras one cup size down from your regular PL size.
Well, everything about this bra FEELS like it fits pretty well. However, after I look at my pictures, it looks like I might actually need a cup or two larger and maybe a band size smaller. Oh well! I am pleased with how this one fits so far, and the size was available in the drop-down menu (meaning no special order and no extra fees), so I'm okay with it.
The band....it's pretty stretchy. I didn't realize how much so at first. I could probably fasten it on the last set of hooks (it's got 4 rows woo woo!) But, I'm learning that ...just because I CAN make it tighter/smaller doesn't necessarily mean I SHOULD. I have come to accept that I am all about comfort, and if I have to sacrifice a teeny tiny bit of support, then I'm okay with that. As of right now, the band is very comfy, and as it stretches, I'll just wear it on tighter hooks.
The straps....they are plenty wide enough and fully adjustable. Sure, I wish they were not so far apart, but that's the story of my life. However, I have yet to have them fall off of my shoulders, so that's a definite plus.
The wires....whoa, the most narrow wires I've ever experienced! I'd probably like it if the wires were just a tad bit wider, but I'm not finding any discomfort. It's really nice to not feel like my boobs are coming from under my arms and my back, because they DON'T.
The cups....J cup with only one single layer of fabric! Yes, you heard me! It feels sort of like a stretch lace, so it seems very forgiving (hence why I'm able to squeeze into this bra that is probably too small.)
The shape....fantastic! I really feel like it looks better in real life than what the pics represent, but oh well. It's everything EM is known for -- upfront, rounded, and uplifted shape. The part I love the most is the definite uplift, which is more than what I've experienced in her HP and CHP styles. I have had stretch marks on my boobs ever since I was 10 or 11 years old, and I imagine it is from puberty coming on strong (never wore a training bra -- went straight to a D cup.) This bra gives enough uplift that I don't notice the stretch marks, and that makes it a winner in my book. There are very few bras that I have ever tried that have accomplished this feat. I'm not sure if it would be as great in a larger size, which is why I'm just going to stick with this size when I order another one (also, I'm hoping to lose about 10-15 pounds.)
Comfort.....A+. It just feels amazing and I don't even feel the need to put on my soft cup bra after I get home from wearing it all day. I am sick and tired of bras that have a break-in period. I can't even count the number of bras I've tried in the last few months that just felt like torture, yet I was assured by others, "It will feel better after a few wears and washes." I want a bra that feels good from Day 1, and this bra does that. Actually, all EM bras seem to be like that, which is what has made me a convert. Life's too short to wear a bra that hurts. This is actually the first unlined bra I own that completely fits and gives me the kind of shape that I want under clothes. My only other experience with unlined bras was when I was still figuring out my size and was in denial about how big a cup I really needed, and later with some that mostly fit, but cut into me due to the full-on-top shape of my breasts.
I usually prefer molded cups because of the coverage, but I liked the S shape from Ewa Michalak so much, that I wanted to give this a try. I wasn't disappointed with this bra. In my ...opinion, the S and SM bras give the same shape and have the same fit. It's very uplifted and perkier than what I get from her PL and CHP styles.
As far as looks, the bra is very nice on me. If you look at it in your hands, it's almost completely see through. However, you can't really see any nipple action once you put it on due to the style of the lace and seam placement. The seams are very flat and don't show under a thin shirt. There was a thread sticking out when I first got the bra, so I just clipped that off and was good to go...
The only thing that I didn't like was the jewel decoration in the middle of the bra. That's not quite my style so I might remove that. Overall, though, I really like this bra and I can't wait till Ewa Michalak releases more of these. I'm starting to see how useful an unlined bra can be (especially in the warmer weather). I really like this bra! I think SM might be my best EM fit (though I don't always like to wear unlined bras). I do find that its a bit snugger in the band than most of my EM bras though. However its also narrower in the cup than my S bras, and it has the best tack for me of any bra I've tried.
I absolutely love this bra. The only downside was the jewel in the centre did fall off. I do get quad boob if I'm moving around lots - but found going up a size a bit too loose. This bra is super comfortable and very sexy. Definitely a great buy and can't wait to try more bra's from this line.
I love this bra!! The fit is excellent and is very comfortable for the most part. The centre gore can dig in/rub if I wear it with a tight top or for too many hours in a row. It is very feminine and the fabric is extremely comfortable. Would recommend!!
