    Didn't fit

I've had this bra for almost 2 years, only got around to reviewing it now!
Trying to follow alidieux' example to be a better contributor here and actually ADD to the database (:

So, actually have to admit I haven't worn Zenith a lot - this was my first bra in Ewa's SF style, and I'm still not sure it's my friend.
    In other Ewa styles I hover around size 70GG - I have an SM (70GG - Ewa Michalak » Sm Ja Wiem... (755) ), S (70H - Ewa Michalak » S Turkusowe Kwiaty (703) )
an SMn (70GG - ... Ewa Michalak » Smn W Sieci (1326) ) and PL (70GG - Ewa Michalak » Pl Kicia Szałowa ) which all work well for me, and a BM (70G - Ewa Michalak » Bm La Gloria (1173) ) in 70G that I do wear often, though it is a tad small.

This SF in 70GG has a bit of the Goldilocks complex for me - where I might prefer an inbetween size as it seems borderline too tall / large?
There's some wrinkling in the bottom cups, which I'm not sure is due to lack of projection / orange-in-a-glass or too-largeness. On my smaller side there's some excess fabric in the upper cup. Larger side does seem to fit properly. The 70G might have been sliiightly small, like my BM, but as I generally prefer that in bras; perhaps I should have sized down after all (like Ewa does advise in it's description).

While the stretch lace is forgiving and the general fit seems acceptable, the cups come up pretty high and the gore does poke my sternum (for the record, I am sensitive to higher gores, would not be an issue for everyone). Also, as I've generally come to expect in (EM and most other) bras, the straps are too wide-set for me - after a day of wear they do irritate my armpit area.

I do very much like the design; I adore this particular color scheme of animal-meets-aqua/green/blue.
The general appearance and sturdy construction of Zenith makes me wish it fit me better / more comfortably!
The matching briefs do fit my 110cm / 43 inch hips/butt in a size M/40, but I could also have worn a 42/L.

As I don't reach for this bra regularly (think I've worn it about 6 times in 2 years?) I'm still contemplating whether to keep or sell this set...
    Or to try and increase wearability & comfort by bending the gore outwards with pliers, as I've successfully done on other bras (like my 70H Ewa S Kwiaty) - and possibly move the straps inwards as well. Decisions, decisions (;

Well, despite the fit problems you indicated in your review, it looks amazing on you!

    • Thanks Wilderness1 , apart from the lack of comfort I do really like Zenith!

    Fits

Hi, I’m a Polish bra addict. I finally tried Comexim and Ewa Michalak this summer, and now my collection is growing! I have the 75FF - Ewa Michalak » Sf Garden, and it’s just a little small (seams press in a little on breast tissue on my larger side) so when I saw this Zenith bra marked down to $39 in a 75G, I decided to go for it. I normally don’t go for animal prints, but I do like the teal/navy, and I couldn’t pass up the sale price.

The fabric on this 75G - Ewa Michalak » Sf ... Zenith (1410) is a little stiffer than on my SF Garden, but it’s also brand new and will probably soften up with some wear and washing. The gore tacks a little firmer on my Garden bra also (there is the tiniest gap only at the very top with the Zenith). Maybe that’s because the gore on the Garden bra is a little shorter at one cup size smaller? The cups on the Zenith are better, as the seams aren’t pressing in on my larger breast, and the top of the cup sits a little higher. The seams on the bottom part of the cup are a little bit bulky, but I’m hoping they’ll soften a little once I’ve worn and washed the bra a few times.

Overall, this bra fits very well. My breasts feel contained and supported, and the bra creates a nice, rounded breast shape. It’s a little more “out in front” than my 80FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm Puder, but not quite as much uplift/cleavage as the 75FF Garden Bra. The straps are a little wide-set (as they are on my Garden bra), but definitely still wearable.

Summary — the navy/teal color is beautiful, and the fit is good if you have a narrow, projected shape. The band is firm, but since my underbust measures 33” and I like a firm band, that works well for me. If you don’t like a firm band or are on the larger end of measurements for your band size, then I’d sister-size up one band/down one cup. The stretch lace on top of the cup is very forgiving of size fluctuations or differences between breasts.

    • We all wish the straps were less wide set too.

    • I love my Ewas but can’t wear them with anything sleeveless ever because of those darn straps!

    • The straps are less wide on the BM. I mean, they’re not NARROW, but they’re not as wide as the SF.

I guess Ewa is trying to contain the Tail of Spence?

    • I think my PL is the narrowest. I am I the size the calculator has me at so it’s not that I am I the wrong size either. I just have a petite frame.

    • I haven’t tried a PL yet. I feel like it wouldn’t work well for my shape, but maybe one day I’ll give it a shot.

    • It’s not supposed to be good for me either since I have soft and center full tissue but I don’t care. Lol. It’s one of my better fits.

    • Oh, that is good feedback. I sort of assumed the PL wouldn’t work, but I guess I’d have to try one to know for sure!

This most recent bra haul (two bras but still) of mine is probably my favorite of all time. I LOVE this bra. Absolutely adore it!

Big round of applause for this bra's cup width being 5.75 inches in a 30:11. That is precisely the cup width I need with my very narrow/borderline omega roots. The wire lines up with about the first vertical inch of my boob perfectly; however, the wires in this bra are also very u-shaped, whereas the bottom of my boobs are more like a very slanted semicircle, so I do get wrinkling from past that first verticle inch down and at the bottom ... of the cup. This doesn't bother me at all, however.

I also really like the SF cup construction. The one BM I have is not exactly a bra I'd want to wear on a very busy, active day, but I was extremely comfortable going on a 30-minute walk with my dog today and felt like I would most definitely choose it for a day where I knew I had to walk for five hours straight or the like. I think, in terms of comfort, I prefer this SF style to the fully padded bras I have, as the SF, in not having such a rigid cup structure, is not holding your boobs in an essentially forced position the entire time you're wearing it. It allows for variability in breast shape is perhaps a better way to say it. The stretch lace on top also works really well for my full-on-top boobs, although there is a little bit of gaping at the straps. Once again, it doesn't bother me.

One thing that kind of surprised me about this bra is that I like the gore. I'm very much a fan of tall and wide gores, and while I wouldn't quite put the gore of the Zenith in that category, I will say that the height is good on me and that the gore, while too narrow, still functions well on me.

I will warn you all, though, that this bra runs very tight in the band. As someone with a 28.5 inch ribcage, this is good for me, but if your ribcage is more like 29.5 or 30 inches, I'd say to try a 70 rather than a 65. Even given that I'm a small 30/65, this bra's band feels like it's just pushing being a tad small on me.

Finally, on the colorway: I can't tell if this is one of those rare bras that looks better in stock photos than on real people or if I'm just not the biggest fan of the colors on my skintone in particular. The pattern is really fun, though, and I like flashing the dark blue straps and multipatterned sides of the bra with my shirts.

    SF Zenith 60L (and 60KK)
The fabric on this one. Oh, if I could describe it. It is not silky or smooth. It is more rough but not in a bad way. It’s a matte finish, with a cat tongue finish, haha. The colors are a perfect blend of beautiful-Teals, Blues, Browns, and Slight Grey, in a unique animalistic print collage. I love it, seriously love it. Aside from the unique texture of the fabric, this is a typical SF style bra, which has a stiffer bottom cup with stretch lace on top. This typically provides more support than the BM but without any padding to add bulk.

I ordered ... this one in both the 60KK and the 60L, and for simplicity’s sake, I am reviewing them both together here.

All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.

The band measures 22.15” and stretches to a max of 27.875” on the 60KK and 22” to a max of 28.5” on the 60L. Both have 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
This measurement is: 12.25” on 60KK and 12.5” on 60L
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
This measurement is: 14.6” on 60KK and 15” on 60L

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The 60KK Cup height is 8.75” with a 4.75” Wing, 4.4” gore, and 6.25” width
    The 60L height is 9” with a 4.5” wing, gore 4.25” and 6.25” width

Needless to say the measurements are disappointing, as there is not enough of an increase from the 60KK to the 60L to justify calling it a full cup up and honestly the 60L is equal to a few of my 60KK SFs that are currently too small in the cup. This is not a true 60L cup.

    As for fit,
I didn’t bother with even trying on the 60KK based on the fit of my other ones, and the fit of the 60L.
The 60L band felt comfortable on the tightest hook set, and the gore was 2.5 fingers off the sternum with the cups feeling very full and a tight. I am mid cycle, several days past lowest tide, but still a week or so away from high tide, so a good mid range to judge fit.

I will try to get Kaska to be willing to allow me to order it in a 60LL, but she told Magda no already, so it will take a bit of pestering and persuasion to get her to change Ewa’s mind.

Would you say it fits like a regular Sf or more like the Blueberry?
I'm sorry it's not a perfect fit, it looks gorgeous on you! The pattern on this one is superb.

    • 1

This is so beautiful. Sorry it didn’t work.

    • 1

I love the pattern on the zenith so much. It's a shame it wasn't a perfect fit

    • 1

brasaremean It's more like a regular SF, just a cup size small. : -/

All 3 of the 60L SFs I received had the same depth as my 60KK Szaron and Kobalt....

      Thank you Sovavosi and Frazzleberry

Zenith is gorgeous! I gotta say, I was a bit on the fence about getting it, but I’m glad I did. It is really soft to the tough, but still supportive. The animal print isn’t too much, and looks wonderful! This whole order is going straight into rotation.

    Didn't fit

I received this bra long after I'd first started losing weight, so it didn't fit when it finally arrived.

Again, I'm basing my review purely off the measurements I took and from a bit of experience.

The height of the cups seems to be borderline ridiculous. The band also measured tight in my opinion. I feel it was smaller than a true 65 band.

I ordered this in an FB, in 75KK - i can wear a 32 band in panache, and I had to wear an extender the first couple months with this one

    • Yikes. At least it's good to know that the band runs tight in general haha

    • 1

You know, i was thinking about this and how she's so inconsistent in bands - i wonder if they cut unstretched and dont take in to account the stretch of the specific fabric they are working on?

    • 1

That’s what I think. Or don’t take wire spring/width into consideration.

    • Both really good theories really. It's tough to say with certainty haha.

I seriously loved this bra on me. I loved how the color scheme matched my skin tone as well as how soft the material was against my skin. I didn't actually like this bra in the stock photos. This one is more of a "you have to see it, to believe it". I really, really like it.
The band is a smidge too tight as are the cups. I'm probably going to try it in a 65KK and hope that Ewa can match it's sister sizing since I was told they can't make it in a 65L. *Sob*

It is awesome isn't it? 😍
Did Kaska tell you no or did she tell Magda no?

    • It is SO awesome. Told Magda they could sew a 60L and 65KK but a 60LL/65L aren't possible.

    • Okay. Well since Kaska told me yes to both the BM and SFs in a 60LL on 1/16/19, we know that Ewa is playing selective allowance again. Sorry. :-/
Hopefully the 65KK works, otherwise you can send her photos of it to gain approval for the 65L.

This is lovely. I have the PL, might have to get this too.

    • Sigh. Boo. Yep. I am crossing my fingers on it and taking it from there. Eek.

It truly is. It's so nice, Sovavosi :)

    • Its so pretty! I hope the next size works.
