  1. Pl Lovely Bra (1277)

My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

PL Lovely is a padded plunge bra in light pink, with pink polka dots and black bows. Mine came with white cookies, which seem a bit small for the cookie pockets. Generally I am not a fan of pink. Mostly because I hate Barbie pink, but this soft pink is interesting and changes depending on the temperature of the lighting. It looks more whitish with bluer lights.

This bra measures more similar to my PL Cappuccino, which is an older model. The gore on this bra is shorter ... than my Nununu and Capuccino, measuring only 2.8” high. I like this better, as I always have gore wires resting on my breast tissue, even in plunges. The wires are 6.3” wide, and the wings are slightly lower than the Nununu, measuring 4.6” high. This makes the cups seem shorter to me even though they are the same height as the others, and it causes me less gaping at the gore. The straps are too wide set for me, and in combination with my shape cause a gap at the gore. The band on this is tight, measuring at 27.5” stretched.

This bra is really comfortable and I really appreciate the lower wings. The gore gap can’t be seen under a shirt, so I’m happy with this bra.

This looks so much better in person than on the website. I get a little gapping near the gore on my PLs too unless I aggressively s & s.

    • 2

I have the assumption that a plunge should make one look like it does in the professional photos. I’m surprised to hear you have a gap too.

    • 3

I actually think it's just this one model. It's an odd one out in my collection and I only noticed the odd shape yesterday. My others fit much better. At my height though, I get gapping somewhere from how tall bras are in general.

    • 1

I think their cookies are getting smaller in general. Glad you noticed this point as well.

    • 2

Great review, Sovavosi . Interesting the gores have been getting higher in your size range in Ewa's PLs. I wish she would shorten the 3D gores in my 30F size by about half an inch.

      Adorable--especially for pink ;-)

  2. Sf Gładzioch Mleczna Czekolada

I picked this one up from Zathiya. This bra is very soft and silky. I love the colour and the silky stretchy top. In fact, I like it a lot better than the lace on the other SFs because of how soft it is. Ewa needs to release this on her site, it is too pretty to have a limited run. It is pretty much the same as the lace topped SFs, except that the gore is higher on this one than the lace ones I have in the same size, and the cups are slightly deeper. The gore is overlapped in the back, which is not visible when you put the bra on. Ewa needs to make this kind of bra in more skin shades.

  3. Sf Szaron Bra (1284)

My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

SF Szaron is a light greyish-blue with baby pink straps and ribbons, and a pink pompom on the gore. The pattern reminds me of spring. I didn’t notice the pompom on the gore when I saw the photos on the models. I find it interesting, but odd. It’s a giant pink dot on my sternum!

It is a little different fit wise than my SF Pin-up in that the cups are wider, 6.3” as opposed to 6.1”. The gore is lower, 3.8”, and narrower, with a slight overlap ... visible from the back side only. The wings are higher. The bra’s straps are set too wide for me, and with the higher wings are a bit more chafing near my armpits. Despite this, it is a spectacularly comfortable bra. When I first tried it on I got terrible wrinkling at the outer edge of the cup and I thought it was more shallow than the other SFs. They seem to have mostly disappeared after the first wash. I’m really happy with this bra!

I just received this set and I love it. I put it on to show it to my friend last night, and the said that the matching pink pompom on the back of the panties looked like a little bunny tail. :)

The fabric is so soft and smooth! It looks great on you!

  4. Sm Tattoo

My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

SM Tattoo is a sheer mesh bra with black embroidery. It comes with detachable cleavage straps in a small pink bag. I found this bra on Zathiya by luck while I was looking for clearance items. I have been wanting to try this cut but was unsure that it would work with my breast shape. I am surprised at this one. For a bra with no stretch on the top section, it fits, and it lies flat. The shape I get isn’t the best shape as my ... breasts aren’t round and can’t be mounded up. It looks like the shape I get in an S, except without the floppy cup top. This is deeper than the 60K S that I have, otherwise the two models don’t seem very equivalent. The gore on this is a bit wider than other EM bras, possibly due to the loop for the cleavage straps. I read other reviews that the SM is shallow at the wire, but I haven’t seen any wrinkling while wearing it.

This bra is very delicate and I feel too clumsy to be wearing it. It is difficult to put one’s hands in the top to swoop and scoop. I will try to be careful with it but it does seem that the top would be easy to stretch out doing the swoop and scoop.

I havent tried an SM in several sizes . . . that is lovely tho

    • 2

Gorgeous! Fit "Surprises" are so lovely :-D

    • 1

There seems to be a lot of empty space on top though, aren't the cups just too large?

    • 2

@Alex-ah For those of us short-waisted, short breasted, compression-averse bra wearers, what looks too large is sometimes the best fit we can find. I wish Sovavosi had joined Bratabase earlier because she has demonstrated why I, too, have wrinkles in the top of the cup even when I'm painfully compressed in the bottom of the cup. Fit challenges. Phew!

    • 2

Alex_ah Anything under 12" causes my tissue to be compressed backwards into my armpit, under the wire. My breasts are conical and there is always a gap on top.

    • 2

I should also add my breasts don't squish upwards. They are firm and the only way to get them to go up is to squash them completely flat.

    • 2

I learn something new everyday :) thanks for taking the time to explain!

    • 3

This is lovely, and as I was looking at the pictures I was thinking it looked like a good fit for you. You fill out the top better than I do in most of mine. As I read the comments about wrinkled top and compressed bottom I was thinking "Yep, that's me, that's me too." I'm so glad I'm not the only one dealing with these fit issues!

    • 2

This looks amazing on you & an excellent fit for your shape! Definitely a win and a keeper. I hope mine looks as good. :-)

    • 2

Thanks all. Is it helpful to have pictures of an uncommon shape? I have the PL Lovely but again, it looks too big because of the shape issue. If it would be helpful for folks I'd post them.

    • 3

Sovavosi it's always helpful to have reviews from many different breast types. I'd love to read your review of the PL Lovely. I'm not in your exact cup range but I'm a 60 band and the Lovely is definitely catching my eye :)

    • 2

SO glad you're happy with it! Man that's gorgeous, I ordered one from Ewa during her sale and have been patiently waiting for it to get here lol.

You are correct about the wider gore being related to the cleavage straps, I have a few of the strappy SM bras and they all have wider gores, I think they need more space to be able to sew the loops/attach the straps (some of them are non-removable). Every other Ewa I've ever gotten has had a gore that overlaps at the top (which is amazing for me, lol).

  5. Pl Nununu (1200)

My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

PL Nununu is a purplish blue plunge with black lace, and buttons on the center gore. It is difficult to capture the true colour of the bra because it changes depending on the lighting. The lace is similar to the lace on the upper part of the Syrena: wispy, loose, and attached with only one seam on the bottom. The bows on the straps are folded over strips of ribbon attached with a button.

I’ve outgown my 60J plunges a little bit, I have spilling out of the ... center, non-tacking gores, and the tissue is starting to get pushed back under the side wire. I wanted to try the next size up, but it does not fit me particularly well. These cups are designed for round breasts, and in this size it showcases how much breast tissue I am missing because of my upper conical shape. The top folds down oddly, and the straps are set wider than the smaller size, leaving a larger gap at the gore. Cookies cannot make my breasts round so do nothing other than make the bra point forward oddly. The bottom of the bra fits me well with no center spillage or forcing tissue into my armpits. This might be the point where I can no longer wear plunges. I don’t like the loose top.

In all other respects, it is very well made. The band only stretches to about 27.5” before the wires start to pull. It’s really lovely, and I will probably still end up wearing it around the house.

  6. S Zielony Pieprzyk (796)

The name on this means “green pepper” which I don’t feel is appropriate. It looks nothing like my most hated vegetable. This bra is a beautiful hunter green overlaid with black lace and a huge black bow.

I am trying the S cut again because the gore doesn’t tack on my 60J - Ewa Michalak » S Syrena (790) . It is difficult to know if it is a shape mismatch or too small from one data point. The gore tacks on this one and I feel more comfortable in the slightly deeper cups. The cup depth is the same as the 60J - ... Ewa Michalak » Chp Arlekin Bra (1152) (11.75”) that I have in one cup size smaller, so it demonstrates what Ewa means “runs large in the cup” for the other bra.

This bra is very tall on me, but because of the closed cups, it fits. The only gaping is due to the straps being set too wide. The cup height increased .25” from the 60J model. Looking at the 60L model’s height, it is safe to assume that cup height increases .25” for every cup size, at least in in the J+ range. For short breasts, it feels like a balancing act between cup height and cup depth, and my tissue doesn’t allow me to compromise on depth. The cups still feel a little small but going up another size will make it too tall.

The band on this feels tighter than my other 60s even though it stretches to about the same length, around 29”. I experience some wrinkling of the cup on the bottom outside curve, near the armpit. Despite this cut being known for its shallowness it has managed to stay in my IMF.

This cut seems to be tricky for short breasts. There are better cuts out there but I like having more options, and it looks fine under a shirt.

Maybe the color was referring to the lace over it looking like it's speckled with black pepper instead of bell or jalapeño peppers....? I'm thinking pepper snow over an evergreen forest.....or in a Halloween themed snow globe. (Yes I have an active visual imagination! !)
Glad it stayed in your IMF. It does look good on you!!! :-)

    • 2

Black forest sounds better than green pepper!

    • 2

So very true!! We shall mentally rename it!! ;-)

    • 1

Thrilled for you! Gorgeous green and black "forest." :-) My breasts behave so much like yours. I wish I had just accepted the gaping at the top like you have instead of endlessly searching for a better fit.

    • 1

Love4Pollinators It's really hard to accept gaping at the top when none of the models exhibit the fit issues that we have.

    • 5

Well, actually the name means Green Beauty Mark - word for pepper in diminutive means a birthmark on a face ;) just some Polish language trivia. No idea why Ewa named this bra this way.

  7. Sf Pin-up (975)

My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

I was having some confusion about the sizing on the SF based on my experience with a 60J SF Trapez, and when I saw this on Zathiya I decided to try it. This bra measures the same depth as the 60J Trapez, but fits differently on the top. Both bras measure 12” deep, but the 60J lace feels tight on me at times. This bra does not feel tight and feels exactly the same to me on the bottom. I had measured a 60JJ SF Trapez a ... few months ago and it also measured 12” deep. I find it odd that the SF style measures the same depth in two sizes. The only difference I can discern between the two is that the gore and cups are taller on the larger size. The wires on a SF seem to be set more at an angle like / instead of | on the sides. It is not as projected on the bottom as a BM. I get a little bit of wrinkling on the outside and it slides down very slowly on the outer corners.

I wasn’t originally impressed with the colour scheme and the polka dots until I put it on. The bra is just so cheerful. There’s even little red bows on the back of the bra, something I didn’t notice until I took photos of the back. It did not take long for it to grow on me. I really like how this bra looks.

    Didn't fit

I bought this 60JJ Ewa Mocjalak Effuniak Bra off of a secondhand seller site kind of on accident. There were a couple of these Plunge Style Ewa Bras for sale there that I was looking at with 60 65 70 bands and eventually decided to make/accept an offer for one. Many of the sellers, including this one, used a stock photo as the main picture with a similar price range which had me confused enough to order a different one than intended, so this Bra is way too big. I don't have a firm grasp on Ewas sizing yet, but this seems to fit similarly or a bit ... larger than my Comexim UK28GG (60L) Plunge. This band is a little bit firmer. Unfortunately, this bra has some issues (that were mostly disclosed in the origenal add.) I suspect this bra got caught on something and damaged spinning in the wash due to the bent, loose, and missing fasteners. I cant clasp it on the loosest set but wear this bra on the next set but it's a bit firmer than I like, i would likely go up a band size. The cup size is also way too big I can fill a decent amount of the bottom but there is a lot of extra room in the top of these tall cups. The cups are a little wide for me and the gore a bit tall with the inner wires pushing my soft tissue towards my armpits a bit. There are spacious cookie pockets but it did not come with cookies. I am pretty sure this is a 60JJ from the origenal ad though I am not sure of its history. I would consider an altered Ewa Plunge in a 65G maybe and pad out the side for my smaller higher breast. I think this bra would be great for someone with a small underbust and proportionally large cups if it were newer and a size match. I was a little bummed I ordered it only because the price was similar to less worn Polish bras on here. I may try to fix it and get the stains out and or just give it away to someone with better sewing skills. It was my error getting it and I did get more bras that week that were excellent. I do love Polish bras and can not wait to try more on my size!

Marking down the quality on this bra because the band was made too large. It is a 30" band on a bra that is supposed to be 28". While it is wearable without too much wiggling on the tightest hook, it doesn't feel quite right. I get some sliding on both sides even though I don't have any wrinkling on the bottom of the cup. The bottom of the band rolls up on my stomach, but it's not painful. I do love the colour and peek-a-boo gore on this bra, just would have been happier with my purchase had the band size been correct.

    • Did you notice the odd placement of the Ewa tag on the front? It's not on the Wire Channel like all other Ewa bras. Mine is done the same so it's not a glitch, but I wonder why she changed the placement? I don't even see one on Gosia's at all. Weird!

    • 1

I am starting to notice that this bra is slightly smaller on the top of the cup than the other BMs that I have. I feel more pressure in this area than I normally do.

    • 2

Yes! Not breast tender friendly at all. :-(

If you happen to have anything round that is close to the cup size, place it in the cups overnight before you plan on wearing it, to stretch the cups and soften the tension. Even the right size glass bowl would work.

    • I didn't think it was too bad but the pressure is starting to hurt. :|

    • 1

      Sorry :-(

    • 1

I added some photos of what high tide looks like on a person with tall shallow roots. To be honest, it doesn't look like much at all. Maybe slightly wider, and the left cup is now stuffed full enough it feels like the top of the cup is slightly indenting the tissue.

    • 1

:-( Hugs. Hopefully it's better after high tide.

  10. Bm Bibi Flamenco (808)

This bra differs from other BMs in that it is more open on top. This bra seems like a tricky fit for someone else who is shallow on top. Going down a size would certainly help the top be smaller, but since my breasts don't compress upwards the bottom would be too small. The band length is longer than I think it should be for a 60, stretching to 29". The bra feels pretty standard for a BM in all other respects.

    Didn't fit

BM Fioletowy is an unpadded full lace cupped bra in a beautiful purple color with a gorgeous patterned band without any lace to it. It is currently a Bra Obsessed (Canada) exclusive, though sometimes these types get released directly from Ewa’s site at a later date. There are 4 parts to the cup, 2 lower vertical sections, 1 horizontal stretch lace upper section and a triangle section on the outer cup that connects the straps to the cup without compromising the stretch lace.

I ordered this one to test sizing down with Ewa’s BM, as the larger ones I’ve tried so far didn’t provide as rounded of a ... shape as I am used to. I was a bit leery about this, with my current size range for Ewa BMs being 60K-KK depending on the model and time of the month, as hormonal fluctuations cause more than a cup difference between the high and low point for me. Since this one wasn’t available in a 60K and I really wanted to try it, I opted for the 60JJ. Unfortunately, this didn’t work out for me as the cups are too small.

For the specifics on this one, the band measured 21.5” flat and stretched to a max of 28.5” which was great as most of the Ewa bras I’ve received in the 60K to 60L range measure larger and aren’t as supportive as I need. The band has the standard 3 hooks and 4 eye loop rows.

The cup depth measured a conservative flat 11.75” (measured with the cup hovered between the knees and the tape measure loosely placed inside the cup without any resistance) to a max of 13.75” when stretched over the knee, and I had to really force it to get that. The 60K-KK BMs measure 12-12.5” flat and 15-15.25” stretched so I was surprised at how small these cups were in comparison. The height was 8.5” and the width was 6”. Again, my 60K-KK BMs are 10-10.25” in height, so this one was much shorter than anticipated as well.

The gore had a width of .5” and a height of 3.8”, while the wing was 4.5”

The Pros: The straps are not as wide set as the Ewa bras I get in the larger cup range. The band on this one was shorter than they come in the larger cup range so I didn’t need to put it on the tightest hooks for it to feel supportive. And the color is so gorgeous! This is truly one beautiful bra.

The Cons: I didn’t think quad boob was possible with the stretch lace bra, but surprise, I found out here that it is!!! Also, the cups are definitely not as deep as I’ve experienced with my 60K & 60KK BMs, so I really had to force my breasts into the bottom of the cup. With these two factors, it is no surprise the gore doesn’t tack. For me, a cup height of 8.5” is really short and barely covers my nips.

Honestly, if the bra fit, I’d have no complaints. If Ewa releases it on her site directly, I will definitely try it again in 60K &/or 60KK.

I may still try Klejnot in a 60JJ to see if it yields rounder results, but after this one, I am not as confident on a positive outcome, and think a truly rounded shape in a BM may not be possible for me.

    Didn't fit

I was disappointed when I tried this on, because it has a ton of awesome aspects, but just didn't fit me quite right. My boobs were trying to escape near the gore and I was gapping near the straps! The underwires aren't terribly wide, but the construction of the cups is a bit too east-west for me, I suppose.

Also, the shape of the cups was a little odd- each of the three panels is kind of flat, so it gives my boobs a bit of an angle at each seam instead of a nice smooth curve.

But otherwise, this bra is fantastic. The materials are very comfortable, the band ... is perfect for my 27" underbust. The straps are hard to adjust, but that also means they don't slip.

Pros: Cute and elegant- the color is deeper and more vibrant than it looks in the photos, less periwinkle-y. It has a cute contrasting ribbon at the gore.
Nice and solidly built- the materials are comfortable but it's clearly made to last.
There are FOUR columns of hooks in the back, so the band has more room to stretch over time and not become useless!
    The straps are super adjustable.

Cons: Odd shape, at least on me.
Gore comes up a little high for my preference.
Straps are hard to adjust because of the stiff thread used in the embroidery.
I could see the embroidery being irritating for someone who is sensitive to that sort of thing.

I like this bra quite a lot so far! The beige is a close match to my skin tone, and the detailing makes it cute but doesn't interfere with it being a basic nude bra.

The top of the cup on my bigger breast cuts in just a little bit after swooping and scooping (without the pads in) and with the pads in this bra is too small. I think I may be between sizes in Ewa Michalak, because that is the opposite of my problem with the PL Mak (with that, with the pads fits perfectly, without is wearable but just a TAD too small).

The projection ... this bra gives is MIND BLOWING! I like my boobs to look their size, and this bra is doing a great job of not minimizing anything! At the same time, it isn't adding any bulk either.

The band is very stretchy, and although I wear it on the loosest hook to try to make it last as long as possible, it fits most comfortably on the tightest. I don't think the band will last very long, and next time I order this bra I might get a 26K or KK instead, to extend the life of the bra.

I can't say too much about the comfort yet, because I just got it this morning, but so far it's awesome!

My favourite bra. Best fit I currently have. Very comfortable. I need a little more depth in my larger side, but cookie inserts even up the fit on my smaller side.

If I recall correctly, I didn't like the feel of this BM against my skin. It seemed scratchy, although it was aesthetically very pleasing. It was such a shame that it never fit me right. I got quad-boob, and just an overall horrendous shape. I didn't keep it. I never even finished taking any pictures.

Jaimie recommended that I play with the straps some, and I did, but I just couldn't get it to work for me.

I always used to get a very lopsided look with the BM. Crazy was no exception. It's not nearly as noticeably as some, but it bugged me enough to return it. It looked funny, and it felt funny since the one strap felt like it was constantly digging into my shoulder to try and compensate for the lack of support.

This BM is more shallow than the other BMs that I have in this size. I see quite a bit of wrinkling at the bottom of the cup and it is also my only BM that slides. I think the wires being slightly wire has removed some of the cup space from the front of the cup. The cups feel small and I am getting bulging at the wire near my underarm, which is my body’s version of quadding. It’s not comfortable to wear more than an hour or so.

This bra hurts. The band stretches to almost 30", and the wires measure 6.5" wide flat. I have to hook it on the tightest set of hooks to get any support out of it, making this a 30 band in my opinion. The gore does not lie flat, it flexes away from my chest whenever I move. The cups measure a bit smaller than the other 60JJ BMs I have, and due to the wide wires it is very shallow on bottom. Perhaps this one is so different from other BMs because this model is older.
