I love the beautiful cobalt blue of this bra combined with the light gray straps and trim. I didn't dig the plaid pink, light green, and light blue bow so I removed it, but I can see how others would like it as a trim choice. I was shocked that the measurements on this were so similar to my CHP Opium, because I found it more closed on top and that it produced quadboob where the Opium did not. It's cute enough in a hard-to-find color that I'll tolerate the less than optimal fit as a novelty or bedroom bra - though I have to say, this and the Opium have converted me from a diehard Comexim buyer to an Ewa Michalak fangirl. I accepted Comexim's non-tacking gores and pretty damn good immediate projection in their 3HC styles, but Ewa M's actually tacking gores and deeper projection in these CHP styles have opened my eyes, yet again.
I need a 65JJ/K in this bra. Fit Issues for me: Quadboob Orange in Glass Too wide cups
The uplift from this bra is amazing. It lifts as much as my Freya Decos but it's not as small on me and is not a plunge. This is also the only gore to ever lay flat on my full in the middle and close-set boobs.
I was disappointed when I tried this on, because it has a ton of awesome aspects, but just didn't fit me quite right. My boobs were trying to escape near the gore and I was gapping near the straps! The underwires aren't terribly wide, but the construction of the cups is a bit too east-west for me, I suppose.
Also, the shape of the cups was a little odd- each of the three panels is kind of flat, so it gives my boobs a bit of an angle at each seam instead of a nice smooth curve.
But otherwise, this bra is fantastic. The materials are very comfortable, the band ...is perfect for my 27" underbust. The straps are hard to adjust, but that also means they don't slip.
Pros: Cute and elegant- the color is deeper and more vibrant than it looks in the photos, less periwinkle-y. It has a cute contrasting ribbon at the gore. Nice and solidly built- the materials are comfortable but it's clearly made to last. There are FOUR columns of hooks in the back, so the band has more room to stretch over time and not become useless! The straps are super adjustable.
Cons: Odd shape, at least on me. Gore comes up a little high for my preference. Straps are hard to adjust because of the stiff thread used in the embroidery. I could see the embroidery being irritating for someone who is sensitive to that sort of thing. Read more 128 more words
I am short rooted, pendulous, even, center full, and narrowish. For me this was a comfy bra, even though the cup size was 3 sizes too small. Gore didn't tack on me, but it tried really hard. Wire channels are padded and the bra itself is extremely comfortable on me. TTS 36 band I would say. 4 columns of 3 hooks. Well made EM bra.
My first Ewa! it's awesome. I was worried the band would be too small, but, perhaps because i got this bra used from someone with a bigger UB than me, it's just fine.
Tons of forward projection! Under clothes, perfect, adds another inch to my bust measurement though! Without clothes, the CHP is not super flattering for my body type (fat) and when I order an EM directly from the company I'll get an SM or some other style. Cup is on the verge of being too big, but I would spill out if i sized down -- think i'd be able to size down in a fuller coverage style, though.
Since my boobs have grown slightly, I have needed new bras. I bought this bra in a relative sister size since this bra looked liked it was being discontinued - no special orders allowed - and I knew this was fine since Ewa Michalak don't really do relative wire sizing between sister sizing. So I will alter the bands down to a 26 band later.
This blue/purpley bra is really pretty, and the shape it gives is really nice - CHP shape means a mix between the projected CH shape and the HP shape which gives a lot of cleavage in my experience. The 3 hooks at the back make it extremely supportive and comfortable.
Please bear in mind that my measurements were different when I fit into this bra. The fit is similar to most other Ewa Michalak CHP bras. I found this bra sturdy and comfortable but only got to wear it once before I grew out of it.
It's a beautiful everyday bra. Bought my normal EM size. The cups fit ok, but the band is very tight - I can fasten it, but don't feel comfortable. In the meanwhile, I wear it with one hook of extender. The underwires are quite narrow, like all EM bras, and that's why I'm highly compatible with this brand
