This bra is too small for me, so I can't comment on fit, but I did make some general observations when trying it on.
The centre gore poked me in the chest quite badly. The underwires are quite thick, as is the case with most Curvy Kate bras, and for this reason it does not work for me. My boobs are very close together in the centre and this leaves the wires sitting on my breast tissue. There is a design on the straps which makes them only part adjustable, but if really necessary you could force the rest of the strap through the adjuster. The band fit me well ...and if anything, it is a little on the small side. However, I have the black version of this bra and black bras in general are known to run a little smaller. The shape it gives is OK, quite rounded but not particularly lifted. The ribbon at the top is likely to cut in if you have full on top boobs. The polka dot design is slightly raised and is very pretty. It's a simple touch which makes a basic black bra a little more exciting. I don't really like unpadded bras, but I can see the appeal of this one as a simple, pretty everyday style which gives a fairly natural shape.
I love the design of this bra, but sadly it really doesn't fit me any more. The band is far too stretchy and I would need more like a 24, although this does make it comfy to wear. The cups are far too small and give me a square shape at the front. I would need to go up another 2 cup sizes and then the shape would be nice and rounded.
The straps are placed too far apart and dig into my shoulders, and there was also poking from the wires in the centre the first few times a wore it. After a couple of washes this eased ...up. The cups are lined with a cottony fabric which is nice and soft against your skin. The outer fabric shows under very tight clothing, but it's nowhere near as bad as the Thrill Me.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the sizing seems to vary a lot between colours. I also bought the green version (this one is purple) and it fit very differently - the centre wires came up higher and there was gaping along the top of one of the cups. This bra is a very good fit for me. The band feels slightly tighter than the average 28 with less stretch, but for me it is comfortably snug. The cup fit is good, enclosing all my breast tissue, and under clothing it creates a nice rounded shape.
The straps are fully adjustable and the band fastens with three hooks. The straps sit well and don't dig in. I often find straps are too wide-set for my narrow shoulders but this is not the case with this bra.
I find the underwires dig in slightly at the centre, probably on account of the snug fit of the band, and I often get this with new bras but find they ease up after washing. I can't comment on any post-washing changes in this as I eventually decided to return it. I was very happy with the fit and shape but unfortunately I found the pattern a bit fussy for my taste.
I followed advice for this top to size up a cup, which was perfect. I got a 28ff, and the band was perfect for my 26 inch underbust. The cups were too close for my boobs, but this is my first well fitting bikini. It stayed on great in the water and hasn’t faded.
Despite it being super plunge, it is not a good fit for close set boobs. And the band is too small relative to the cup size, in order to wear it comfortably I had to put a band extender. Material is also a little scratchy.
Wow, such a nice bra. I got it from another Bratabase user. The band is too tight, but I could wear it with an extender. that is, until my size changed!
My Stats: FOB, projected, close set, firm and dense tissue. Size: Normally 28FF, got this in a 28FF. I got this in a grab bag from Breakout Bras. They accidentally sent me a 30FF instead of a 28FF. They were nice enough to send me the correct size.
Bra Stats Appearance: orangey balconette with green bow details. There are circular wheel looking embroidery throughout the cups.
Cups: decently projected cups and good length wires. Not too projected and not too shallow. The bottom half of the cup is a double layer and the part above the seam in single layer. This one fit better in the cups versus the 30FF.
Band: firm band, good support. Maybe a smidge too tight which leads me to believe that I'm closer to a 30 inch band.
Gore: gore is of mid height and tacks
Straps: regular distance apart
Shape Under Clothing: a more natural and peaked shape which I'm not really into.

although my size has gone down a bit after a year, this bra still fits and probably the only bra I own that fits well. i do have slight quad boob situation and also wrinkling along the top of cup. other than that, it fits great
I got this babydoll super cheap from Brastop. It's a very cute chemise but the cups run VERY large. I have gaping on both my breasts and it just looks unnatural. I would recommend ordering a full cup size or two smaller than your natural shape to accommodate for the fit.
Love it! This bra is better than a t-shirt bra for not showing. It stays up, and it is really comfy. The only thing I wish, is that I had bought a 30f instead of a 28ff, because the 28 is right even with an extender. But I like the 4 hooks. Being tight makes the gore dig if I lay down. Otherwise I don't notice it being tight.
This is an excellent bra, comfortable, smooth and I love the moveable j-hook. I do find this bra minimalizing. Which isn't really what I want, I want smoothness with no lines, but I don't want to be flat either! So that's why it's 4 stars instead of 5.
I'm a 30f, but got this in 28ff, so I do need an extender, and the cups run about 1/2 cup small. I wish I'd sized up to a g, but it just sounded like it would be too big for me.
Fits reasonably well, had to sister-size down and add a cup size (I usually wear a 30E), flattens me out a bit compared to many of my other bras. The bows on the straps tend to show through clothing more than the trim does.
I looked carefully at reviews which said that 1) the tease ran small in the cup and 2) large in the band. I'm in between 30e/f and full on top. So I decided to go with the f cup, in my other purchase of this bra in a 30 band. But I also decided to get a 28ff in case the band ran big and stretched out quickly.
The cups: I think they do run small, but as this is a half cup and I'm in between sizes, it fits perfectly. There's nothing to cut in up top.
The band: I'm not sure if Curvy Kate has changed ...their fit, but the band runs true to a 28, I measure a tight 28 and a loose 30. So I had to buy an extender for this bra. Also, because the band is snug the cups feel a smidgen smaller than my 30f. But after a few days breaking it in its just right.
Funny note, one reviewer said it creaks. It does! Lol, just don't bend a bunch. Also, I like three hooks better than two, I feel like it'll stay in place even better.

The bra is great, but the back band is SUPER tight. I usually wear a size 28FF in Curvy Kate, so I expected this to be fine. This bra was painful as soon as I put it on (which I was barely able to do), so I used bra back extenders to make it bearable (I made them myself out of old bras) and I also put pieces of a cut up maxi pad along the wires to reduce pain when I wore it to prom in late May. Now, I wear it without the extenders (one broke) and it is a huge relief to take it off ...at the end of the day. It still hurts all day, but it's the only strapless bra I have. I'm left with sore red marks, and maybe even a few cuts (there was no bleeding, but I have little dots around where the outer edge of the underwire sits). The best part about this bra is the way it looks, it fits pretty well in the cup despite my closely placed breasts. Other than the fit issue, I'm a fan of this bra.
I really like this bra! It's the only bra I've gotten to date that's managed to fully encapsulate my breasts without any spillover (be it over the top or into the middle). That being said, this band was looser than expected (using the Curvy Kate Smoothie balconette as a reference). This isn't an issue most of the time, but definitely causes some motion beneath my clothes on my lighter days. Overall, this is my go-to for any time that I want a nice silhouette without cleavage.
I love this bikini. I think it is pretty, flattering and supportive. The back is quite firm although not uncomfortably so. There is a nice cleavage in the bra, not too much, just right (in my opinion). When i first put It on there is a little quad boob, but after i adjust myself and smooth my breasts into It i think It is fine. I wish, wish, wish that i could find a bra that fit me as well as this bikini!!!
