    Used to fit

I was actually quite surprised with this bra. I bought this off Ebay used and when I opened it up i thought there was no way my boobs were fitting in this. It looked small for a 28FF. It is a bit tight, esp for being used, but its actually a pretty nice fit. After trying my CK Gia in a 28G, i wasn't really sure if this would work or not. The Princess gives a much nicer shape under clothes, not too pointy but nothing too round, very natural. My Gia is pointy boobs all the way and the top lacy part of the cup wrinkles. It ... doesn't seem to do that with the Princess. But it does show thru on light shirts, the little dots and the bows are visible. But i feel like my Gia sort of pushes everything front and center so there is zero side boob. The Princess has a little bit more east west projection and not as much lift as the Gia, for me. But it still feels very supportive. One of my fav things about CK is that they use 3, instead of just 2, hooks and eyes on the back of the band for larger cups. I wish ALL brands did this, or at least made it an option, because for me, it seems to make such a difference in the overall support.

The gore isn't too high for me which is unusual with my close-set boobs. But it did start to dig in my sternum pretty quickly and left a nasty red indentation when i took the bra off only after about 30 minutes. I still marked this as a fit in the system since this was my only real complaint. The straps are so pretty but the decorative flower design doesn't allow them to be fully adjustable. But it's not really a problem unless you were to tighten them to the max, which doesn't seem too practical anyway. Lol. When i first put the bra on the straps were tightened all the way. But I don't know why I thought that would work honestly (too lazy to adjust them i guess, haha) and it gave me massive quad boob. So i loosened them completely and the bra fit perfectly after that https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Overall, this is a pretty bra. I'm not as crazy about the shape it gives without clothing as I am with it under a shirt, if that makes any sense. It's actually the complete opposite of my Gia. With the Gia, I LOVE the look and shape it gives...until i put on a shirt. Weird. I think the Princess looks better in my pics on me than it does in person. It's not a bra I would spend big bucks on, but it seems like it could be a great "summer" bra, nice and light.

This bra is too small for me, so I can't comment on fit, but I did make some general observations when trying it on.

The centre gore poked me in the chest quite badly. The underwires are quite thick, as is the case with most Curvy Kate bras, and for this reason it does not work for me. My boobs are very close together in the centre and this leaves the wires sitting on my breast tissue.
There is a design on the straps which makes them only part adjustable, but if really necessary you could force the rest of the strap through the adjuster. The band fit me well ... and if anything, it is a little on the small side. However, I have the black version of this bra and black bras in general are known to run a little smaller.
The shape it gives is OK, quite rounded but not particularly lifted. The ribbon at the top is likely to cut in if you have full on top boobs.
The polka dot design is slightly raised and is very pretty. It's a simple touch which makes a basic black bra a little more exciting.
I don't really like unpadded bras, but I can see the appeal of this one as a simple, pretty everyday style which gives a fairly natural shape.

Have I mentioned how much I like this bra? I bought both the Scarlet/Chilli, and this colourway (Orchid/Purple) because I couldn't choose between them/they were on sale, anyways. I feel like this one is slightly bigger in the top than the other, which doesn't really work in the favour of my smaller breast, but it's pretty minor. Other than that, pretty much the same as my other Curvy Kate Princess Balcony Bra (CK6001)

Okay, so I might be slightly in love with this bra. I wasn't expecting it to be a soft cup bra, but now that I've tried it on, and it's not horribly baggy on me, like most soft cups I try, I'm kinda digging it. I love the vibrant, seductive reds, and the translucent mesh tops. My only complaint would be that I kind of have to adjust the placement of my nipples so that they're under the seam, instead of on full display. Also, the straps again. There's also a slight itchiness about it, that I'm hoping goes away with wear and washing.
I'm planning on wearing this one to work tomorrow, more in-depth analysis then.

I really, really, REALLY want the Curvy Kate Princess to work for me. I really do. I am going to keep and wear this bra, but it isn't a perfect bra for my shape. The full review can be found over at my blog!

I tried this on in a 28G and had all kinds of issues. I was hoping the 28FF would be the answer to my problems, but it wasn't. The band was firmer than the G was, so that was an improvement, but as soon as I swoop and scooped I had major quad boob. I still had a bit of an issue with the wrinkling of the bottom of the cups, but that wasn't as bad - seems to be a shape issue rather than a size thing. The cups didn't stretch as much as they did on the G, so the width was no longer an issue. The straps were still a bit wide and cut into the front of my armpits. I also got a pointy shape with the bra, which wasn't ideal. Based on this, trying the Princess in a 28G, and trying the CK Lottie, I'm giving up on Curvy Kate.

This was way way too small in the cups for me, so I can't comment on the fit.

The quality on this bra is amazing though. I love the material and design and the details are great. It also feels very comfortable, even while it's too small!

This bra is absolutely beautiful! Material is silky smooth with absolutely no discomfort, has got to be the least itchiest bra I have ever owned. Unfortunately, the cups wrinkled on me, I have had this problem with Curvy Kate bras before and I'm not sure why. Definitely would have needed to go atleast one cup size down.

The band is quite firm when being worn but can be stretched out quite a bit. Felt like a snug 28 for me. Might have even debated going up to a 30 to be honest! This bra is definitely of high durability, I can not stop raving about this bra! I will be repurchasing it in my size! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

(My one had 'Portia' written and crossed out on the label as shown in the pictures, only issue with it which to be fair isn't really an issue if you're looking for a good fitting supportive bra!)

I had heard that this bra is a little smaller than other 28ffs so I wasn't surprised that it was too small for me! It is very tight in the band - but not too tight (I really liked the fact that the band was nice and firm), and the wires fit really well - but my breasts were really squashed and falling out the cup. It does give a really good round shape though and I think would be very supportive and comfortable on the right person.

Also the pink colour I bought was a slightly darker/brighter pink than I had expected from photos I had seen of this.
