I truly believe it's one of the most beautiful bras I've ever seen: the dark mesh with floral embroidery looks amazing on beige fabric. It's even better because both the cups and the band have exactly the same embroidery on it, so it looks just as beautiful in frontal and back view. But it's not only beautiful, it's really comfy too. The padding is rather thin and soft on the inside and there's nothing that could dig into body or leave some marks. The band is really, really tight, if you want to buy it, you should go for a band at least one size bigger than you ...usually wear, but if you get the right fit, it doesn't dig into your body, it doesn't ride up, down or in whatever direction it could, it just stays around and keeps the bra in place: in front of your chest. I love the uplift it gives: it's not like wearing Ewa Michalak's bras with the feeling of having my boobs right below my chin, but still it makes the cleavage really noticeable. The bra also gives nice, round shape without the feeling of having my boobs shaped against their natural look (I mean sometimes the bra adjusts to body but sometimes the bra forms the breast tissue if it's soft enough, and if it isn't, the fit is horrible; so here's the first case) The straps are the only flaw: they are only pieces of dark, elastic fabric. The edges of the straps can dig into body sometimes. But there's no other flaw I can think of. After a week of wearing and two long train rides I can say I totally love it. Read more 174 more words
Wow, I never would have realized how beautiful this bra was without your pictures. Thanks! I didn't realize how strange the fits are in this brand, so I guess I'm going to need to spend some time figuring the sizing out before I will be able to order. Thanks again, this was very helpful!
Holy moly this bra is pretty. Beige bras never looked so good. That being said, I'm a sad kitty 'cause it doesn't fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Band: could barely get it to stretch to 30". Needed 3 full additional hooks on an extender to get it on. Asked for the 2x3 hook closure to be replaced with a 3x3 so that's great, if only I could get it on. Cups: width measures a little big but that's because of the deep plunge so it feels fine on but the cups arent big enough. I've got a decent amount of quad. Possibly because this bra stopped at 75H and I requested a larger size so the grading might be off or it might just run small. Gore is super low
This bra is so pretty! My only regret is that I ordered 75J when now it seems like 75K would have been perfect. Why does Comexim sizing have to be so hard?!?
The foam is lightweight and offers good coverage and shaping without feeling stiff. The inside of the cup is soft, and the seams don’t irritate. I had Comexim make the bra with the straps moved in 2 cm so they aren’t too wide, and I asked them to make the gore this height so it’s neither too short nor too tall. After extended wear, I do get some quadding or feel the bra shift ...downward so I do wish I’d sized up in the cup. It’s wearable, and it’s comfortable if I don’t wear it for too long. The wires and gore are narrow, as you’d expect from a Polish bra.
The colors are gorgeous in person. The matching undies are cute and comfortable as well, FWIW. I have considered reordering this bra in 75K and listing the 75J for sale, but I haven’t done it yet. I do recommend this bra, but size up if in doubt! Especially if you’re fuller on top or have tall roots. Read more 94 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Ordered from Comexim with straps moved in 2 cm and gore height 7 cm
Hi ok can try this same one but maybe ask for 1-2cm added depth to the wire next time. I would worry that the next size up will be too tall or large.
Maybe the quadding is worse than in pictures, but 'visually' I had the same thought as @Calluna; I'd guess that a full size up could end up being too big/tall?
(Unless you have them add cookie pockets and/or order extra alterations, like slightly lowered cups; straps moved in further)
The suggestion to re-order this same size but with added depth may also solve your issues!
I hadn’t considered asking for added depth. The straps are already moved in on this one, which is good.
The quadding is not super obvious in these pictures because that happens later in the day from the bra sliding down. (Thanks, projection.) Everything fits fine as long as I don’t move. Lol. And the quadding is really just the left boob so it’s possible I need a bigger bra with a small cookie on the right side.
To say this bra is gorgeous is an understatement! The pics online don't do it any justice. The cups are a brilliant bright blue purple that pop against the black components of the bra. The one I have is slightly different than the stock photo, as the lace at the top of the cup actually goes on the cup, rather than a lace edge stick out as appears on stock photos. I personally don't have a preference, as it's beautiful either way. The fabric is a super smooth and soft satin, and the cotton cups are lined with soft matte black.
This model is constructed exactly like their Basic bra, except this one runs true to size, whereas the Basic runs about a cup small. The band is stretchy yet firm, the straps fully adjustable, and it comes with 4 rows of 3 hooks -- yes, thank you!
LOVE this bra, and I'll no doubt wear it into the ground.
Girl, you kill me when you don't post measurements.
Gorgeous! I've been eyeing up that one too:)
Looks awesome! I was wondering - does the outer cup material get bobbly with wear and wash? I want to order this model but after having my Lorraine get ruined quickly, I'm afraid of their non-overlace cups.
Sorry to hear about your Lorraine! I have never had that issue before with any of my Comexim bras, personally. The only bras I've had issues with that are those I am lazy about when it comes to washing. I wash all the ones I really care about in a lingerie bag on gentle and in cold water and then hang to dry. Were you doing that with the Lorraine? Other than that, I imagine it was just a fluke, as I've found all of the Comexim ones I've had to hold up pretty well (beyond normal wear and tear).
Yes, I wash it inside a pillow-case in a cold gentle cycle and hand from the gore to dry. My washing machine is very old though, not sure if it makes a difference. Hmmm. I'll give Sapphire a chance then. Thanks!
It might be the washing machine causing that. I would start washing in the sinks just to make sure. :)
I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- Comexim makes the best blue bras of any other brand I've seen. I've included pics so y'all can see just how gorgeous this is, and also that it's a bit different than the pics on their site. The pink is much brighter, and the blue is more intense and has more depth than what is depicted online.
Fit-wise, this is constructed exactly like Audrey (makes sense with the dots and all), but with the lace lining the top of the cups, and this works well for me since Audrey is my most worn bra.
My only complaint is that this ...comes with 2 eye and hooks, rather than 3. Why, Comexim, why?!? It also only has 3 rows of hooks vs. the lovely 4 they've been putting on their more recent models. This was specifically ordered with 3 eye and hooks, so it must have been a slip on their part. Otherwise, this is the perfect bra. It's gorgeous, comfy, femme but not overly so, and makes the girls look great. But it's killing me with the 2 hooks. Read more 80 more words
This bra runs 1-2 cup sizes small in the cups, but the band is true to size. I normally wear UK 34FF or occasionally a 34G; this one is a 75J (34GG). This is consistent with the information on Breakout Bras, where I ordered it.
As long as you’re sure to order the correct size, this is a great bra. It is similarly narrow in the cups and gore to the Ewa Michalak SF style so it’s a good choice if you have a narrow, projected shape. This one doesn’t provide quite as much upward lift as my Ewa SF, but it does provide very good lift and shaping. The stretch lace is very soft and hasn’t been obvious under a T-shirt for me so far.
I recommend trying this bra if you’ve been curious about Polish bras or are looking for an unlined bra that works with a narrow, projected shape.
Of course it's pretty and gives good shape; it's a Comeximhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Fit: The band runs tight; I have to wear an extender. The cups probably run a touch big because they fit without a hint of quadraboob. Very comfy. Surprisingly smooth under tshirts, even though it's covered in lace. Update 5/19: the cups are really 1 too small. Sister sizing to the 80HH was a win.
If this bikini fit, it would be so cute! I love the pattern and it's nice and soft, it's just not the right size for me at all. It's weird, because there's gaping in the front center, like my boobs don't fill it out, but I am spilling out of the sides of the cup, near the armpits. What the heck! I have no idea how to go about figuring out a fix for that. Maybe someone here can help! I really want to order a new one, but unsure how I should size it; the band is super stretchy, and the straps are very long. I'm afraid to order a band size smaller in case the cups are too small yet again! This was ordered from Bra Obsessed earlier this summer, (Jaimie is really awesome and helpful!) and was sent in UK size of 34GG. My normal Comexim size is 80HH, but I think with swimwear, I'd want to size down to 75HH because of the stretchiness. Any thoughts?
My Pin Up Girl has started gapping and folding over at the center gore. It was doing this before my recent shrinkage too. Have no idea why it was literally folding in half, and it seems to be just the right side.
In your case, it could be simply that it has too much room at the gore for you. Maybe the gore is too tall, and possibly a gore reduction could help.
There's nothing worse than waiting months for a bra (and bikini that I ordered at the same time) and having it arrive and not fit at all. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The straps finally fit perfectly; I ordered them to be moved in 5 cm, and the gore is nice and high, but the cups are too small. I'm not sure if there was just a miscommunication in the sizes, since my normal Comexims that I've ordered directly from Poland are a size 80HH. I ordered this bra, and a Pin-Up Girl Bikini, from Bra Obsessed, and was told a 34GG would be the size ...equivalent. I think the cup sizing was off, because my breasts are spilling out of the sides. I can't help but be super bummed out, since the wait time was a bit longer than usual because of the Canadian postal strike. Anyways, I guess I'll try to re-order both of these from Comexim and hope I can re-sell this, and the bikini, and at least recoup some of my lost money. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> (I'm not trying to be negative about Bra Obsessed! Jaimie was really nice and helpful. The sizing was just off, and the long wait wasn't her fault, either. I recommend ordering from her!) Read more 110 more words
Moving the straps in slightly decreases the cup size. Also the UK equivalents aren't spot on because of the cm changes versus inches. People usually size up a cup size or two to find the right volume in comexim.
So I'm sorta new to the whole Polish bra experience, and this was only the third Comexim I ever purchased. (The first was a Basic in 75K, which was laughably too big for me, the second was one I ordered from Wellfitting in 32G, which is what my measurements according to the site recommended, but was CRAZY small) Anyways, due to some trial and error, I thought a 75J would fit me the best. I ordered this through Wellfitting last Christmastime, so I'm not sure if the more current bras are a little different, but the band size on this one is way too tight. I have to ...use an extender to be able to wear this, which I do, frequently, because the few other bras I own don't fit me as well. I also had no idea I could customize the straps to fit narrower shoulders; I really wish I had! The straps are too far apart and often cause me much discomfort. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> They rub into the skin right above my armpits and next to my breasts, whatever that area is called. I can't really wear this all day because it is so uncomfortable just for that fact alone. Is this a common problem? I have to deal with that in just about every bra I own. It sucks! Also, my left breast is noticeably larger than my right, so the J cup fits that breast, but not the other. What do you guys usually do in these situations? There's enough empty space in the right cup that it makes me think maybe this isn't the right cup size. I did order this with a higher gore, which keeps my girls perkier, which is nice. They look really good under T-shirts and stuff when I wear this. My next purchase through Wellfitting, I am for sure getting this with the straps moved in! (Now I just need the fundage to get some better fitting bras!) I just don't know if I should order a larger band and a smaller cup, or stick with the 75J and deal with the extender? Generally for asymmetry you can add in a pad/cookie. Comexim might be willing to add them into the design of the bra. I think I heard of someone getting pockets for assymetry added.
The Basic does run tighter in the band than other Comexims. It's currently the only one that I wear with an extender (though I feel like I may need to do it with the Irish Coffee too)
That's good to know for when I order again! Thanks!
As absolutely beautiful this bra is, there is something off with the fit. I'm hoping others snap this beauty up as well, and can comment if they experienced the same. The only modification I request on Comexim bras is to include 3 hook fastening; however, it fits like it has both a lowered gore and taller cups. Because the cups are so tall, I have slight empty space near the strap I normally never have in these. Also, not sure if it's because of the tall cups or not, but I also have a good deal of empty space at the bottom of the cup, which is generally ...also never the case with Comexim because of their famed projection and narrow wires. I don't know if the one I received is a defect, or if this model is just constructed a bit differently. Good thing it's so damn gorgeous!
The print on this is absolutely beautiful, and perfection for the incoming warmer weather. I LOVE the crisp mint green, subtle floral pattern, and the slight pop of pink throughout the cup. It truly is a stunning bra.
The feel of the materials it's made out of are not the best feeling to the touch, The fabric itself is a bit rough, almost scratchy, though it doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. It's just not as smooth and silky as most of their bras feel. As was the case with my 75J - Comexim » Dakota Green , the straps on this are more narrow than average. I will still wear and love this, but I wish the fit were more on par with my other Comexim bras.
EDIT: after a wash and day of wear, the materials feel MUCH softer (like, surprisingly so compared to before), and the fit is better, too. It's still not satin smooth, and the cups are still a bit too tall, but it's much more akin to other Comexim bras I have (and love). Read more 222 more words
I wasn't too sure about the print when I first saw this online, but I decided to give it a shot because Comexim does bright prints very well. In person, this is just as bright and vibrant as you imagine it to be when viewing it online. My only gripe with the coloring is that the green lace lining the top of the cup is more of a forest green in person, when online it appears to be more of a teal color. Just a minor thing I noticed.
Fit wise, this is TTS for Comexim padded plunges. The band is firm yet comfortable, and the cups fit ...well. The wires are narrow as always, and the gore isn't so low I spill all over the place.
The fabric for this is super smooth and silky soft. It feels amazing against the skin. A thing to note are the straps feel very narrow to me, which I am personally not a fan of on bras. I don't know if Comexim has decided to make their straps more narrow, but I am hoping it's just the model. The 75J - Comexim » Pearl Flower Mint included in this order also has super thin straps. However, bras from previous orders do not. However, in my eyes, Comexim can basically do no wrong. Read more 117 more words
The red color is darker than I anticipated it to be (in real life, it's a darker maroon than pinkish red), and the white is not as bright because of the red lining on the cups, but the fit is spot on for Comexim. The fabric lining the cups is super soft, and the support and shape is wonderful. For sizing reference, I wear a UK 32H/34GG and purchased this in my usual Comexim 75J. The cups are perfect, and I was able to wear the band on the second hook immediately. So it is stretchy, but not incredibly so. Overall, I would still recommend!
Beautiful bra. Not as cleavage-y as my beloved Iris but she's a cup too small. Lace is above the cup, not as in picture on website but I don't mind. Bright blue. Narrow/deep cups. Lowish gore. Band is firm. Hubby actually picked this one out so I'm very pleased it fits.
Again, like the Luna, a very comfortable and very beautiful bra, but I overestimated my cup, so they're unwearable (by me). Definitely plan to try Comexim in the future, once I nail down my current size!
If you sell this, please let me know! I would love to buy it.:D
Nayanya yes, I'm thinking I need a 75H/HH, although I'm wondering if the cups are too tall for me even then. I'm going to wait a bit until I can nail down my size in Cleo and figure it out then.
ginganinja Yes I'll message you when it goes up for sale, probably tomorrow!
I'm not sure what the true Comexim size would be, as I ordered this through Breakout Bras. The tag lists UK 34GG, and I am a UK 34F. I'm not sure how to get my ribcage measurement to show, but I am about 33" for a snug underbust. This bra gives my top-heavy, conical breasts (although augmented with under muscle placement of cohesive gel silicone implants, I started with very tuberous breasts, so looking conical unsupported is an improvement from what nature gave me) an amazingly beautiful cakes on a plate look! The material could be a bit softer - even after several washings it's slightly scratchy, ...and the top and middle hooks are now straining out and almost unwearable after wearing this bra about 1 - 2 x weekly for just over a year. It is a very sexy bra, lightweight but supportive, although the lace unfortunately looks quite lumpy under shirts - and I am very comfortable with the look of soft cup bras and some seams showing, and I actually prefer the soft cup look over the smooth 'foam dome' T shirt type bra -yet this bra does have more lumpiness from the lace and seams showing than I am comfortable with, when wearing thin-to-medium weight shirts, or even when wearing just a medium weight, non-skin-tight tank top. Oh, but it looks so beautiful on its own! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 132 more words
This is a beautiful color bra and the most comfortable one that I own. It's pretty true to a UK-sized 34G+ and consistent with other Comexim styles I have. I run about 32HH/34GG-H right now and this one fits great in the band but a little small on my larger side. (I was the 2nd owner, though, so I can't swear it didn't stretch.) What's remarkable about this one is that I absolutely didn't have to think of it at all during the day - a 16-hour day - and after; I went to bed wearing it. I could live in it. Update 12/2018: I gained weight/changed shape and this one migrated to a "doesn't fit" stash for awhile. I've lost a few pounds and it seems to fit again, although oddly, it's giving me a little quadraboob on my smaller side. I'd forgotten what a plunge it was; it's pretty close to buttcrack cleavage. Still comfy! Update 5/19: additional weight/shape changes and the cups are definitely too small.
This fits much more comfortably than the Basic I have, just because of the stretchier band. I like how smooth and soft the fabric is, too. But once again, the straps are too far apart. I'm afraid to take them off and try making the sewing adjustments myself; I've never done that with padded bras before. Also, the right cup, which is my smaller breast, had a lot of empty room near the top. This would more than likely fit me better with a smaller band and cup size.
I bought this bra from Wellfitting. I had heard some good and some not-so-good reviews from Wellfitting's service, but I really needed a bra, fast, and I had been eying this style for months. Thankfully I had no problems. They're size calculator worked really well for me, too. I got this in a 75J and after receiving it I think I should actually wear a 75K, but it's probably the closest I've ever got in the bra sizing land (and I've been at it for over a year! Stop growing, dang it!). This bra is so gorgeous and I absolutely adore it. The first few times I wore it, upon taking it off my bras would be so sore from being UP the entire day! I wasn't used to it! I am so happy with this bra, although I wish good bras weren't so expensive. Time to save up for another, and I think I'll try out the 75K this time. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
May I suggest ordering direct next time? You will pay half the price! :) or through Erica at A Sophisticated Pair! She is awesome and way cheaper than Wellfitting.
Irish coffee is one of my favorite Comexim designs! It's so gorgeous! I'm glad you found a bra that fits! :D or close enough at least ;)
gogobee Oh! That is great advice, thank you so much!!! :) I'll definitely look into that!
I thought I'd worked out my comexim size, but it turns out that not all plunge bras are the same from them. This appears to be cut more like a half cup. It's too shallow for me. I can feel the bottom rumple a little, and the top cuts in a little. It isn't really noticeable but the shape isn't how I wanted it. I'd asked for this to be made multiway so I may hold onto it as a halter bra until something better comes along.
Wow, I never would have realized how beautiful this bra was without your pictures. Thanks! I didn't realize how strange the fits are in this brand, so I guess I'm going to need to spend some time figuring the sizing out before I will be able to order. Thanks again, this was very helpful!
