    65HH

    Used to fit

My shape is narrow and short rooted, slightly pendulous, soft, and low set.

This is my second Bridget. I exchanged my 65J (with alterations) with another bratabase user because it was gaping slightly when I tried to wear it. I'm happy to report that this 65HH fits me, (and I hope my 65J fits her). The bra itself is gorgeous. The lace is a creamy mauve, and the lace adorns the cups and wraps all the way around the band to the clasps. I appreciate this detail because not all bras do this. This was originally a 'faux' longline of course, but it was altered to be made as ... a 3HC. The straps are black and fairly stretchy, and there is a small classy black bow on the gore. The band has 4 sets of clasps and it is snug without being tight. I have lots of 'room' to adjust the band in to a tighter clasp as the elastic wears out.

The shape this bra creates is nice and rounded. This will make a great summer bra because it's so light. I tried it on under a tank (pictures), and I didn't see any seams or lace through the tank top, so I should be able to wear it with just about anything. This bra is also extremely comfortable, as are all my Comexims.

Overall I'm very happy with this bra and the quality, comfort, and appearance are excellent.

Yeah! So happy that it fits you! :) Unfortunately your 65J is still too small for me. It was worth trying. Enjoy!

    • wooooow. i'm drooling. bra is so pretty. how does it feel when you re walking? do you feel your boobs bounce?

    • Wow, that looks perfect on you and it is lifting you a lot better then the 65J. I also love how the black straps contrast with the light mauve color of the cups.

    • 1

Thanks aboobaccount , Calluna , and newhere . It has really good support actually. I mean I haven't ran down stairs or anything yet, but everything feels nice and contained.

    • 1

That's a stunning bra and it looks tailor-made for you. You wear it well. Now I'm jonesing for a Comexim...I keep searching for a good one.

    65HH

    Fits

This is the last of the four bras that Wilderness1 sent me to try after I tried the 65J Belen and thought it might fit better with alterations. That said, this is the only bra of the 4 that actually has no alterations. The Bridget that she initially had was a 65J with alterations and was still a bit big/tall and less than a perfect fit, so she traded her modified Bridget for this unmodified one.

As Mary Poppins’ measuring tape said about her, this bra is “practically perfect in every way” although it is not completely perfect. For example, the straps are a ... bit wider than I prefer, and “maybe I can do like 1cm shorter cups. But it’s a really good fit, considering it is as is. This one was not for sale and I had to send it back. Of the people who I shared the pictures and video of initially, everyone commented that it was a great fit.

The beigey lilac or taupe lace is very sheer, with the vertical cuts and straps in black. It’s an interesting contrast. I’m not sure if I prefer it this way or would prefer it more monochromatic. The lace is not incredibly soft or anything but it’s definitely not irritating to me. It’s a very lightweight bra. This was initially a longline, so I guess you could say it is modified, but just not in the way you think of when you think about alterations.

My tissue is soft and center full, and while I’m actually even fullness, my tallish roots are shallow and I functionally fit as short rooted and full on bottom. This bra is just the right height for my big boob but a little bit tall for my small one, which is why I say maybe I could reduce the cups a tiny bit. But it’s a little bit too risky when the big side does fit pretty well.

I’m a little bit surprised at the band because I thought it would fit tighter than it did, even though I have heard it’s a stretchy band. I think I was ok with the middle hooks on this one, though it might’ve been a lot tighter when it was new.

There’s still the original 65J with alterations in the listings that I have considered, though now I see that it might not fit that well. This bra actually has me looking at other soft cup longlines on the site like Tara and Black Swan. I’m seriously considering going with one of them as a 3HC. Could it be my new black workhorse bra?

    • 2

That’s really lovely on you. I do love Comexim aesthetic, and they tend to be cheaper than some other brands. If you only ask for the straps moved in you are much more likely to get that done vs requesting a ton of alterations, so this might be a great fit solution for you!

    Didn't fit

I don't know how I feel about this bra.

It's beautiful, a beautiful mauve colour, the lace is just gorgeous. The bra is comfy. I wanted it ever since Wilderness1 showed me she has one in a random comment I don't even remember when.

And you know, at first look it kinda fits? It fits surprisingly well actually considering two things: the band is extremely loose, and the top of the cups cut into my tissue. I ordered this in 70J (recommended 2 cups up from what I usually wear).
Now, maybe a month-ago me this bra would have fit perfectly actually, but the today me is more of ... a 30GG and so the issues are what they are. Add to it that half-cups just kinda don't work for me (no lift, top of cups cut in, etc etc), and you get this. But I wanted to try it and see for myself if it would work.

But! I think that it's not *that* bad! I'd wear this bra under a thick sweater or a hoodie when I want to be comfy!

Now for the fit. The band is entirely too loose. Even on the tightest hook it feels loose, but at least wearable. I think this is one of the largest 70 bands I have ever seen.

The cups (although beautiful) just offer no support to me. At least, it *feels* like there is no support. In the photos it looks like it has a fair bit of lift. Maybe it's a matter of it being half-cup and I feel like I'm gonna slip out of the cups at any moment! The top of the cups is lined with a little silicon strip to keep the cups in place. How well this 'tacks' I don't know cause I didn't wear it for too long.
I find that it's not too shallow for me, at least for the couple of minutes I wore it. Once the boobs kinda settle down after the scoop and swoop everything is in its place and nothing moves too much.

The wires are very wide, but it doesn't feel like it? It's a mystery. Maybe the wires are a different shape to my EM bras, not that I can tell from just looking at the side by side. The wires overlap at the gore and the gore is a very soft tack. My guess is it's cause the cups are small and the band loose.

The straps are amazing on this bra. They adjust long enough and they're very wide. Love them.

I mean the bra is beautiful, maybe I'm lying to myself convincing myself that it sorta fits? The larger side definitely quads, and the smaller quads somewhat as well. Btw, the lace is very visible under a thin shirt!
Okay, after thinking it through a little, it doesn't fit that much different than the EM bras, I guess? Like I'm comparing photos and they all fit about the same.

That is really beautiful, and it looks like you get a fair amount of lift. Are you returning it? Perhaps it might change a bit after washing.

    • I ordered this from Breakout Bras and returning it would be very very expensive I think, so I won't. I wish there was something I could do about the band cause I think that removing the little silicon strap would make the cups not quad (or possibly would make them very easy to slip off, either or lol).

    • 1

Just a thought, but I almost think if you contacted Comexim directly and asked about an exchange, Anna (the owner of Comexim) may honor it.

It is such a gorgeous bra!

    • Perhaps she would!

I'm thinking what sort of changes I can ask for to make these bras fit better--or if I should just settle for smaller band and larger cup? Nothing about the bra really bothers me, the loose band is horrible though, it's literally so loose it's making my boobs slide out below the bra lol.

    • 1

Yeah, definitely a smaller band. I really think Anna would do it, to gain a new customer and potential new sales. The worst that can happen is her saying no, right? But if she says yes, you get a better fitting bra!

    • 3

It looks amazing on you. That shape was just meant for your boobs I think. If it's comfy, wear the band on the tightest hooks and then get it professionally taken in. It's worth it to have a comfy bra that makes your boobs look that good! Can't lie, I'm jealous that this works for you!

    • 1

If you pull the band just to the right tightness what do the cups do?

I suspect this is the reason you're having a hard time discerning the fit: right now you are getting the illusion of a cup fit briefly and ONLY when you've just put it on and adjusted, because the super loosey goosey band is actually allowing the wires to climb on top of the edge of your breast tissue on the sides here, which even if the cup is small, certainly avoids quadding initially. But that will be short-lived because as soon as you start breathing, moving around, etc. (you know, living) the bra will be moving around too. This makes it hard to figure out cup fit (the age-old "am I quadding because it's small in the cup, or because the whole bra is loose and my unsupported breasts are just lurching up, down and around like drunken sailors?")

So--see if you can pull it tighter or rixie-clip it and scoop/swoop again and observe. It's possible that a tighter band will just give more support and a cakes on a plate boost and then you will know this cup volume is OK. But it could also reveal that it's too small.

    • wendybien Exactly! When I pull it, the cup is definitely too small (even on my smaller side which is telling). Literally bulging out.

I do see Breakout Bras has it in band size down and cup size up (so 30HH) and I'm seriously tempted! I want this bra to work so bad.

    • cupandahalf thank you! I do think it's too small in the cup. It settles down when I'm stationary but the second I start moving around it's bulges all around!

    • 1

It does look gorgeous. I do hope that you can find the right fit.

    • 1

Calluna Breakout Bras has it on sale and with the 15% off coupon it's only like 30 bucks.

    • Thanks brasaremean. It's appealing but it's still around $43 CAD before shipping and tax. It's not enough to qualify for the free shipping to Canada, and the site doesn't say how much it is without free shipping. I know that the listings I have received from the states have been around $10 USD to ship tracked, but I don't know if they ship similarly. So I'm looking at $55-60 CAD. Which is still good. But I'm saving bra money right now for an Ewa BM...

I will keep this in mind for later though, assuming my size is still available.

    • I totally agree cupandahalf that this style of bra was like MADE for you.
The color is amazing. Hopefully the sister size (or sister size plus 1 or 2 cups) has a band thats actually firm enough.

    • 1

I caved and got it (in 30HH).
The more I look at it the more I realise half cups aren't so bad on me?

    • I think non-padded half cups were one the greatest bra inventions ever lol. They fit most shapes, types and sizes of breasts quite well. The padded ones are like....they just never turn out so well IMO. The seams don't seem to do much for a padded half cup. But non-padded half cups, gently shape and hold the bust at the proper level while putting the upper bust on display. They have to designed right though, unfortunately there are many super cheapo ones that aren't designed very good and end up fitting terribly. I feel like this shape works with your bust to support & shape instead of forcing it to be supported and shaped, if that makes any sense at all.

    • 3

Half cups don’t work well on pointy firm boobs. Me and Sovavosi can speak to this.

    • 3

cupandahalf Maybe if the bottom of the cup was made out of steel and at a 45 degree angle, haha.

    Hasn't set fit

This bra is as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures!

Regarding the construction, this is a 3-part unlined halfcup, with an additional piece of lace under the band, 7cm wide, to make the bra a sort of longline. This construction allows the bra to have a regular band, this way bypassing the issues people often experience with a longline.
The cups are made from one layer of transparent tulle, which looks delicate but is actually super sturdy. It has no stretch. The tulle under the band is a different material and it has 2-way stretch. The band is made from two layers of fabric, soft ... jersey and stretch tulle. The cups are closed with a thin strap of soft plastic, but I think it might be more for stability purposes, as the cup seems quite open on top to me. The colour is a flattering light taupe with elegant black accents. I ordered the bra with the alteration wing height 11cm, which seems to be the perfect fit for me.

The fit is the usual excellent Comexim 3-part half cup fit - very rounded, centered and uplifted, with lots of projection at the bottom of the cup. I was worried that the longline part would be uncomfortable on my somewhat larger stomach, but since it's stretchy it's actually very comfortable, I don't even notice it during wear. One thing that I did notice is that the embroidery tends to show under a thin shirt, so this bra won't work as a t-shirt bra. The band is a bit on the stretchy/loose side, I could have sized down as I'm already wearing it on the 2nd hook, so if between sizes I would suggest to size down.

I also ordered the matching shorts in size XL. They also run relatively large, the waist measured flat is 40cm and the material is stretchy. One thing I didn't expect is that the crotch is not lined with cotton but with the same jersey that's on the bra band. Overall, a beautiful set!

As an update after wearing it quite frequently in the past months, the band has stretched out quite quickly, at the moment it rides up on me. Especially the jersey material on the inside of the band looks quite sad and stretched out - this material is not too good quality, which is a pity because the lace still looks good.

    65HH

    Didn't fit

Quite disappointed about the amazingly good looking Comexim's Bridget. I had it done without the extra lace (it is supposed to be a longline) - so because of this I can't send it back to Comexim.

Of course I asked them if the fit would be as it is with their regular padded bras, but wow!, it is NOT! I ordered 2 different bras in 65HH and the result is not the same at all. The bridget looks to be at least 2 cups smaller, maybe even 3! It's a big joke, my boobs won't enter the cups.

Well. I guess I would suggest this bra to someone ... who normally wear a 65F or maybe 65G, and even in the sister sizes in 70 (70E or maybe 70F), because the band is loose.

I'm not happy with Comexim, I own many of their bras, and exchanged also many of them, and the fit is really inconstant, and so it is with the panties as well. Depending on the fabrics, it is never the same!! It is so frustrating, because I'm in Canada and I always wait for 2 months before I get my package, and most of the time, well, it ends up like that.

Had to share this! Thanks https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

This is so disappointing!! :( I feel you! That's why I stopped ordering from comexim..

    • 1

Sorry for the bad experience. I find them a bit inconsistent too. I do love their bras though, so I keep ordering them! When they do fit, they fit really well... But when they don't fit, it's so disappointing.

    • Sorry for the frustration! If you can't be sure of sizing, it sounds like too much of a risk for me. I'm glad you shared.

    • 2

When this happened to me, I sent Comexim pictures of me wearing both bras so they could see the difference in fit. They offered to remake the bra that didn’t fit. Might be worth a shot? Or maybe at least letting them know so that they will possibly, maybe, pretty please focus more on consistent sizing?

Agree the inconsistencies are frustrating - my Bridget was almost an inch deeper than most of my others, even other unlined ones, so it isn’t even consistent across fabric types... but their bras fit me so well I just keep my fingers crossed, and i’ve been pretty lucky all around.

    • Sorry to hear about the sizing inconsistency! Maybe they help if you get into contact with them. My Bridget was basically the same cup size/fit as my other Comexims, although the band has already started to stretch out. But I've experienced huge inconsistencies with the band size, with some bras measuring 2-3 sizes off.. The fit is great though, and I love Comexim's flexible customization approach, so I'm overall happy to buy from them :)

    • 1

That’s so frustrating! I would definitely contact them. This is their mistake and they should be willing to fix it. Let us know what they say!

    • Thanks girl for your comments, you are right I will contact them so at least they know!

    • 4

Well Comexim offered me a new bra, which is very nice of them :)
I hope this one will fit!

    65J

    Fits

My shape is low set, soft, slightly pendulous, narrow and short rooted.

This bra is a very pretty mauve colour with lace detailing in the cups and along the band (all the way around to the back of the bra). The straps measure wide (width wise) for this bra, which I didn't realize before I saw it in person. The straps and little classy bow on the gore are both black. I think darker mauve straps may have worked better with the aesthetics of the bra, but it's still pretty with the black straps. They're just not as delicate looking as the rest of the bra, that's all. (Edited ... to add: I see a picture of a 70F with mauve straps and it looks very pretty...not sure if that was a special request, but I wish this one had those straps instead of the black ones it came with).

This is a three-part half cup with fairly tall cups... in this size anyways. I measured them at about 6.3" tall. That is slightly taller than what my short roots prefer, but it still fits me nicely. I did request a reduced gore, overlapping gore, straps moved in, and for this to be made as a 3HC wth no longline material. I have no way of verifying that any of those alterations were done, but I believe they were. For example, the other Bridget in 65HH says that the gore height is 3.5", mine is 2.6".

The band fits what I consider to be fairly true to size. It stretched to about 29" before the wires just started to distort, but it could have stretched further. It has 3 clasps with 4 sets of hooks, which is awesome. I think because it was a longline, it has taller wings and better band support than it would have otherwise. I love the tall wings and 3 sets of hooks.

The shape it gives is rounded but slightly minimized (I think) due to wider cups. I feel like the wires still follow my IMF pretty well, but I could go with narrower wires, and then I'd probably get a more projected, rounded and up-front shape. That could also be because the cups are slightly too large for me at this time of the month. I feel enclosed but not as supported as I could feel. A 65HH would probably have worked out for me, but I chose the 65J because my 65HH Comexim Coco (381) feels like it's squishing me a little.

Comfort is amazing in this bra, as with all my Comexims that I've tried. Right from the moment I put it on, there is no chaffing, rubbing, poking, or stabbing. I wore it yesterday and I didn't even know it was there.

All in all this is a beautiful delicate looking bra with great comfort and quality.

It looks so nice and elegant. It looks pretty supportive too because of the 3 seams and wider straps -- how does the support compare to Comexim padded bras?

    • 2

That is very lovely, it looks great on you.

    • 2

yogurt this feels as supportive as my padded comexim half cups. I've only tried one plunge, and it was too big on me, so I can't compare to the plunges.

    • 2

      That is gorgeous!

    • 2

I SOOOO look forward to trying comexim's non-padded bras. I really do not like padded bras very much and find that they are not as supportive as non-padded bras. Although I don't really like how this doesn't have the typical style/cut of a half cup which has a straight-ish line going across the top of the cups. This one has like a triangular shape coming down from the straps. So it's more like a plunge/half cup conglomerate. Thx for the review!

    • Thank you Sovavosi , yogurt ,and Sonya !

LeProfessor Comexim bras are so comfortable though, nothing compares in my experience. And the reason this has more of an angular look to it is because I had the gore lowered. It's normally an inch higher, which would give it more of that half cup look. So yeah, the way it's altered it's almost like a half cup in the seams but a plunge in the cup angle.

  7. My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

I wanted to add a review for this bra since I’ve had it for the past few weeks. I really love that it’s unlined and I love the color of the lace cups. I do wish the lace was softer, I think if you have sensory issues, you might not like the way it feels. I also wish the strap were more delicate to go with the cups since I feel it takes away from the romantic look of the bra, but oh well.

This bra gives me a round shape that ... is slightly minimized, but still lovely in my opinion. Good for those shirts you have with buttons so the buttons don’t gape or open! 😄 The band is comfortable in the second set of hooks, it feels pretty stretchy, so I guess I’ll see go it fares with wear. Now that I have a few bras in my rotation that fit I’m not too worried.

The gore is nice and slim and there’s just enough space for me at the center. The wires stay pretty close to my IMF throughout the day, so I’m pretty pleased. Overall, I really love this bra and I would probably purchase this style over again.

I’ve been interested in this one for a while. It’s really pretty. I almost got one from Breakout Bras but wasn’t 100% on the size.

    • Calluna So the band on this one from Breakout Bras is very stretchy in my opinion. I did go up two cup sizes like they suggested, but I could’ve gotten away with the 65HH on the days my breasts are less full. The 65HH cut in a little bit, so I prefer having a little bit more room on this one. I will say I do get less lift from the 65J and less roundness than I got in the 65HH.

I'm not sure what the true Comexim size would be, as I ordered this through Breakout Bras. The tag lists UK 34GG, and I am a UK 34F. I'm not sure how to get my ribcage measurement to show, but I am about 33" for a snug underbust. This bra gives my top-heavy, conical breasts (although augmented with under muscle placement of cohesive gel silicone implants, I started with very tuberous breasts, so looking conical unsupported is an improvement from what nature gave me) an amazingly beautiful cakes on a plate look! The material could be a bit softer - even after several washings it's slightly scratchy, ... and the top and middle hooks are now straining out and almost unwearable after wearing this bra about 1 - 2 x weekly for just over a year. It is a very sexy bra, lightweight but supportive, although the lace unfortunately looks quite lumpy under shirts - and I am very comfortable with the look of soft cup bras and some seams showing, and I actually prefer the soft cup look over the smooth 'foam dome' T shirt type bra -yet this bra does have more lumpiness from the lace and seams showing than I am comfortable with, when wearing thin-to-medium weight shirts, or even when wearing just a medium weight, non-skin-tight tank top. Oh, but it looks so beautiful on its own! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This is bra is so cute, the band is very stretchy though and I can't find my size in the 30/65 band right now to try! The cup is almost perfect too, it's sorta gives off a minimizing vibe, but it's a very rounded shape and very pretty under tight shirts. It's a tiny bit small and I get quadding at the top which is unfortunate.

Edit to add, the 65J size is an almost perfect fit for me: http://bra.pe/X00K/

    Another Bridget, another failure.

I don't know what is wrong with this bra, but I don't think it's my boobs.

In a band size down, and cup size up, it is still too small in the cup and too large in the band. Fits pretty much the same as 70J - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554).
