Almost a perfect fit. This bra has reduced cups. It is a deep eggplant and vey soft and comfy. This is the first bra I've had where the gore doesn't bother me at all. The band is great and the wires are the perfect width. They are a bit below my imf but it is so slight that it isn't noticeable. The attention to detail, especially the double layer bows are perfect. I just wonder how the fit of this bra compares to the newer models, hopefully very similar as I'm still trying to figure out my Comexim size with alterations. The only small fit issue is that I am lacking a bit of inner fullness, but that may be due to the fact that this bra is used and the original owner might have had more inner fullness than I do.
Again, like the Luna, a very comfortable and very beautiful bra, but I overestimated my cup, so they're unwearable (by me). Definitely plan to try Comexim in the future, once I nail down my current size!
Iris is a discontinued standard plunge from 2012. The stock images make it look like it's bright purple. It isn't, it's pretty dark and it's a true purple. It's a lace overlay with a basic beige backing. There is a silvery blue design sewn into the lace. It's along the top of the cups and the bottom of the band. There are double bows to complement the bra, dark purple on top of silver. A big one at the gore (not Ewa big) and smaller ones at the straps. My specific Iris has straps and a 2x3 clasp made up of a burgundy elastic. It doesn't match the ...bra, but it doesn't really clash with it either.
The band is very stretchy and easily stretched to 31". I've sewn through the elastic bringing the stretched measurement about 28"-29" so I can wear it on the loosest hooks. The straps are a good length and width. They are slightly wide set for me. They adjust easily and don't slide around. The cups have been reduced (and excluded from measurement averages). The wires are a comfortable width. They come up a little high for me on the sides. The bottom of the cup is incredibly shallow. I find all Comexim plunges to lack enough immediate projection, but this is one of the shallowest ones I have, even though it is a cup volume larger than I usually wear. I do push it down because the band is not tight enough to keep the wires up (like 65G - Comexim » Juliette (237), which is also shallow but a 26" band). Comexim uses very soft wires so it doesn't hurt when the wires rest on my ribs, but it's not the most comfortable.
The underwear are M and pretty TTS. They're comfortable and don't ride up.
I haven't decided if I'm going to keep this set yet or not. It's quite pretty, but all of my bras are pretty, and it's really not a great fit for me. Read more 225 more words
This bra is AMAZING. The color in person is a deeper purple than what's in the stock image, but I think it's better.
The straps are almost a hair too wide, but I have really narrow shoulders; I think it's just an unfortunate side effect of being petite. However, the straps aren't sitting on any nerves that cause any kind of pain, which is fantastic. it's really comfortable, and the straps are very soft.
The left cup gapes slightly, but this is due to my left breast being smaller than my right breast, it fits well on the right side; I'm currently experiencing some VERY minor quadboobage, but ...I'm close to starting my period (as of Aug 6, 2013) so I'd imagine that the cup won't quad so much once my period ends. It's very slight and doesn't bother me at all. The gaping is not at all noticeable under a form fitting top. I am having to adjust myself by scooping and swooping, but I'm sure over time this will no longer be needed; I've been wearing bras that are too wide in the cups, and they have spread my breasts towards my armpits, so I have to retrain my breasts to go back where they belong. Since I'm close to starting my period, my right breast is pushing the cup off my chest a little bit, so the gore is floating by less than .3cm
The band is firm and gives great support, and the elastics are not digging in or cutting into my skin. I am getting a smooth profile on the sides and back. I am somewhat aware of the band, but at the same time, I can take in a strong deep breath and there's no change in terms of it cutting in uncomfortably.
The overall construction of the bra is fantastic, excellent finishing and doesn't itch or anything like that.
If I really had to nitpick, I would say the gore could maybe be about 1/2cm lower, but on the flip side, my breasts are really soft so I think if the gore was lower, I would get a very unattractive boob spill since my breasts are on the softer side due to pregnancy and breast feeding. Again though, I'm also extremely petite, the measurement from between my clavicle and to the level of my inframammary fold is only 19cm or 7inches. Read more 287 more words
The band fits like a regular 28. The cups aren't particularly shallow-friendly, but if I use the innermost hooks the wires stretch enough and the cups fit a little better. The bottom of the cups are pretty shallow, and there are some projections near the gore. The cups are a bit bigger than 55D Geisha. I get some gaps towards the top and near the gore, but somehow the silhouette is actually fine even when I am wearing very thin shirts. The wires are soft and comfortable. Straps width is on the wider side. The bra is lightly padded.
Update: The bra fits much better when I use tighter hooks. I was able to eliminate the gapping near the gore by simply using the inner hooks. I initially only used the outermost hooks because I thought it might be too tight, but the band feels actually okay.
This bra is really pretty, but sadly doesn't fit me very well. I was trying to make do, but I need a bra with a higher gore. My larger (left) breast has some spillage with this bra, and I am constantly shifting it back inside.
I would like to preface this review by noting that I have had the gore and cup height reduced. I'm kind of in between sizes where I need the cup height and wires of a standard 26F but the depth of a standard 26FF. I had the gore lowered because high gores can be very painful for my splayed breasts. I ordered this bra along with the Irish Coffee and I feel as if these two bras are different cuts, altough they're both plunge bras. I would say that the Irish Coffee bra is more like a true plunge and this bra is 75% plunge and 25% balconette. It ...still retains the same sexy, v-shape cups characteristic of Comexim bras but I feel like this bra is lower and the underwires are installed at more of an angle. The wires on the Iris are narrower as well. This bra is gorgeous in real life. It is more of a deep, eggplant purple than the bright purple depicted in the stock photos. This eggplant purple lace is overlaid on top of beige, with some icy blue accents running through the top. The bow in the middle is adorned with the same eggplant purple and icy blue. The wires are perfect for my root. Comexim produces the narrowest underwire bras that I have encountered. I found the band true to size and did not feel constricting at all. Read more 125 more words
Iris is stretchy compared to the other two Comexims I have (Geisha and Georgia)
Gorgeous plum color, with an icy blue accent in the embroidery. Too small in the cup for me, but that's because I underestimated my Comexims size the first go around. A 75J is perfection, and I'm definitely going to reorder this one.
