The red color is darker than I anticipated it to be (in real life, it's a darker maroon than pinkish red), and the white is not as bright because of the red lining on the cups, but the fit is spot on for Comexim. The fabric lining the cups is super soft, and the support and shape is wonderful. For sizing reference, I wear a UK 32H/34GG and purchased this in my usual Comexim 75J. The cups are perfect, and I was able to wear the band on the second hook immediately. So it is stretchy, but not incredibly so. Overall, I would still recommend!
OMG. I LOVE this bra! It is gorgeous and so unbelievably soft. It might be my softest Comexim ever. It feels like I'm wearing Pajamas! I ordered this through Zathiya and it came with 4 rows of 2 hooks, which is great for me. The band is one of Comexim's stretchier bands. The white is not super white due to the cups being made of a red fabric, but it doesn't bother me and the bra still looks super pretty. I have read some reviews that say that the red bleeds when washing so I will update my review after I wash it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" ...alt=":)" />
Update: After washing this bra for the first time I don't feel like the red color bled at all. I washed it in a Victoria's Secret Lingerie Bag (as much as I dislike their bras, I love their lingerie/bra bags lol) and the bag still looked white - not pink or anything! My washer (I live in an apartment) has limited options. So I washed it on "Woolens" (which runs for about 24 min and is cold water). Normally I would have done "Delicates" but I don't have the option to change the temperature on this washer (I did in an old apartment) so it's always set to warm. So yeah. The bra still looks great and it didn't bleed! Yay! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 130 more words
My first comexim was the Basic in 75H. When it arrived about a year ago it fit great, but everything I've ordered since then has had a bit too stretchy of a band. Also, I've reduced in cup size. I think I've come to the realization that I am a 70G, perhaps 70F, now (I have an order en route from Comexim as we speak which will be telling. When this model popped up for sale here in a 70G I couldn't resist buying, because Comexims rarely pop up on bratabase in my size range.
The band on this model is the stretchiest yet, even stretchier than Nadin which ...is known to run large in the band. It's on the last set of hooks and still fits loose. I did buy this used which could explain the looser fit... To a certain extent. To be fair, my new Comexim with a 70 band is still on the way, so this is just the fit compared to my Basic in a 75 which is quite tight by comparison (I still wear that on the first row of hooks). Oddly enough, the band doesn't seem to ride up, nor does the looseness seem to detract from the overall look and profile. I will thus wear this baby as long as I can get away with it! I'm generally a 32FF in UK sizes, and am soft with projected omega shape, narrow and short rooted but FOT. The band on this bra is definitely snug, I'm using an extender to add about an inch. There is one other thing I don't like about the band, which is that the elastic on the bottom of the band feels like it sticks out a lot more than the rest of the fabric of the band, and over the day it can dig in. I find Ewa Michalak more comfortable in the band than this Comexim, the only I've tried to date. I don't totally fall into the ...middle of this bra like I tend to in plunges - I just fall out a little without some reverse scoop and swoop. It's more careful positioning of my breasts than reverse S&S as my entire breast is still in the cup, the bra just wants my apex to be further out than it is. I think this cup is a little wider than EM and not ideal for my very short and narrow roots. The gore doesn't tack, maybe because of the soft wires, and if I press the gore to tack I get some quadding without more reverse scoop and swoop but as is the cup size is fine. Although I don't think this bra is the right shape for me, comfort wise it's good except the issue with the band I mentioned - once my boobs settle into their slightly-fallen-out position, they don't move around or jostle - and the slightly shallow shape gives me some very slight pressure on the underside of my boobs. The wires overlap at the top of the gore, which is nice! The shape this bra gives is quite lovely, rounded cakes on a plate. It is lightly padded so there is a little boost to apparent size. The straps are a wonderfully wide, smooth and sturdy satiny material which do not slip in the adjusters at all, and in this size there are 3 rows and 4 columns of hooks. I've sold this bra with regret, it was very beautiful but not the best fit for me. Read more 256 more words
This is my first Comexim bra, ordered from Zathiya Lingerie. I definitely need at least a cup size larger, as I was quad-boobing all over the place. Unfortunately, Zathiya does not currently have any Comexims in 70K or 70L, so I will have to wait to try a different size. I found the band to be not very snug on the loosest hook, however, I think a 65 would be too tight. The straps have a slight bit of stretch to them. The bra is absolutely beautiful. The band is a deep red and is not just a plain band, but has an abstract floral pattern. The pattern on the cups is beautiful. It reminds me of antique wallpaper or curtains. The seams on the cups are sown so that they are not very prominent. I understand that this bra is discontinued, so I am sad to say that I probably won't be able to ever get it in my proper size. But, I hope to be able to find more Comexims soon!
I'm not 100% sure about this bra. I was very excited to get it; my first purchase of a used bra, my first bra from Bratabase, my first red bra, my second Comexim. As soon as it arrived I excitedly pulled it out of its package and set to taking pictures of it. It looks good on. It measures great. I think it's very pretty. The fabric is super soft. I don't think I've ever had a bra with such soft fabric. But I'm not sure the fit is perfect? Maybe it's because the band has stretched out. I first put it on the 2nd out of the four ...columns of hooks, because I immediately felt that the last would be too loose. But I didn't actually feel supported - when I walked, my boobs were still jiggly. So I washed it (and was surprised to see a bit of red colour run; the colours don't look any different after, so I won't worry about it) and put it on again on the tightest hooks. This was a bit better. I wonder what that means for the longevity of this bra, or other Comexims. I haven't worn it for longer than a few minutes at a time, yet. Also one of the underwires squeaks a bit when I move. Not too worried about that, but it's a bit odd.
To summarize, I'm happy with this bra's appearance and initial comfort, I'm happy to have bought it, I think I'm happy with the fit, but I worry that the longevity will be mediocre. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
ETA [07/18/15]: So I've now worn this bra several times. It's very comfy, and again, I love how soft the fabric is. The stretchy band makes it less supportive (running or jumping in this bra is definitely noticeable), but it's still quite wearable. Read more 201 more words
This is another Comexim winner, though it's a little on the small side for me now. Great uplifted, round, forward-projected shape - beautiful pattern - silky fabric - sturdy but not obnoxiously industrial straps - etc!
I think I need to move into a 70J - I wish I wasn't on the last hook on this bra as the hooks & eyes are visibly beginning to strain (I've had this bra several months now.)
Reduced cup, lowered gore, straps moved in 2cm. Beautiful bra. The patterned fabric on the wings is a floral and compliments the cup fabric nicely. Stretchy band, the band will continue to stretch easily after the wires start to distort. Fully adjustable straps made from a non-stretchy material.
