This bra is a gorgeous bright orchid color. It is floral and scalloped lace, with low and smallish black cups underneath. The fronts of the straps are thick and can be pretty showing out from under your shirt straps.

This bra is a bit too small in the cups currently. It doesn't fully cover my nipples. The inner black cups provide much less coverage than my other comexim bras. I still wear it sometimes, the other night I wore it as part of an outfit for a concert, with a very deep v black tank over it that showed the purple lace all the way to ... the top of the gore. I think it would be helpful for these straps to adjust shorter. I would also like it if the back of the straps and the hooks were not black, but the same purple so allow this to be worn as many women wear bralettes , with strappy or open back shirts. Personally one problem I have when I wear this bra is that the long line part rolls up, to pretend it is just a regular bra. I think it is my body, my ribs flare out and I have a belly, someone who has a waist that is significantly smaller than their rib cage measurement might have more luck.

This bikini is a slice of tropical paradise. The colors are so fun and bright, and the fabric has a bit of a sheen to it. The fit is a great Comexim fit, creating a wonderful profile. I feel like I look like I haven't breastfed 3 children, haha!

I think this is a swimsuit that is worth going down in the band. I suspect that due to the nature of swimsuit material the band is a bit stretchy. It feels fine and comfortable, but I think that I would personally like a snugger fit for swimwear, especially as I am active in the pool with my ... children. There is just one swimsuit style hook on the back, so you cannot adjust for a tighter or looser fit. This swimsuit is still great, but if I ordered a new one I would go with a tighter band. I have found that I prefer a 60 band to a 65 in Comexim, but this bikini feels stretchier than Comexim bras in 65.

The bottoms are very cute too. They are so flattering. They have strings on the side, so you can adjust the fit and assure you dont have unwanted bulges from bottoms cutting in. I wondered when I looked on the website if they would be too full coverage, or go up too high on my belly. They are in fact perfect. Classic great looking bikini. A little cheeky, but not skimpy. I love them!

    • The colors are cool. Looks very cute on you!

I always wondered why they use these stupid nonadjustable hooks on swimwear.

    • This is so much more beautiful than the Comexim photos! Looks gorgeous on you!

Love to my fairy bramother MamaPagan for making me feel like a princess at the pool

    • Looks great on you! You might be able to shorten the band easily on this one. It should be easier than with a bra, just undo the seam slide the connector further in and resew maybe? (Optimism! ! :-D)

    • Oh man, that looks awesome on you! It looks wayyy better than the website pictures, hahah! Congrats!
I must say I am JEALOUS!! LOL I have yet to find my bikini bliss :(

This is another pretty and comfortable Comexim. Thanks to MamaPagan for sending it to me! I love this color combination, the red around and underneath the underwires feel like a special touch.

This bra, like other comexims gives me a nice rounded and lifted shape. The band both measures and feels a little loose, I am wondering if it has stretched with wear, it is a mesh, so maybe it is a material that is easier to stretch out. Even though it is a little bigger than I need in the band, it is a small amount, and the band does not ride up. As I have recently grown, I am getting noticeable quadding, and some breast tissue escaping out the side of the cups.

It must be so fun to get to try on so many different styles!! I wish MamaPagan was my fairy bramother, too!

I am in a completely different size range, but I’ve always found Comexim’s bands to be inconsistent, and the mesh ones are always more stretchy and less secure for me.

      Hey

This isn't the half cup, it's the original plunge version

If you click on "my bras" then click on this bra, underneath on the left you can click the pink "edit" button and change the model

    • Yeah, if you check my band measurements for this one (under the plunge version as it is), you'll see it's not stretched out from wear. I only tried it a couple times max as the band was too big and the cups too small for me when I bought it.
Too bad you didn't add this & the other Comexims in back when I sent them to you when you stated they fit perfectly. It would have been nice to see some "wins" reviewed instead of all being entered as "losses.". :-(

@ennakym Thank you :-) If I had your size range I would send them to you too. <3

    • I know, I am so hopeful that I will shrink a little and these will become perfect again.

When my father in law became so sick and passed away around that time my focus immediately switched to supporting my husband, children, and the rest of my family. It has been a hard time. My hobbies, and anything else that was not "necessary" was put to the side. I am glad to say that things are starting to get back to normal in our family, and I am starting to regain some balance in my life.

    • Glad to hear things are getting better :-) Life upsets are never a joy, and it is always amazing just how much of a domino effect they can have on the rest of our life. Gotta love that "mommy mode" switch in our brains that makes us "insta-nurturing " for those we care about when they are in need. While that can be emotionally draining, it sounds like you are finally being able to recoup a bit now which is good. Hopefully you'll have some bra wins soon! I know we all love hearing about great bra wins. :-)

I just went through the same things recently and I know the toll they can take on you. It's good to see you posting and nothing puts a smile on your face faster than a brand new(ish XD) bra that makes you feel beautiful.
Even if this one isn't a 100% win it looks great on you and that cleavage is killer!

ennakym We all wish Mamapagan was our fairy bramother with all her awesome bradrobe & fantastic understanding of fit!

This review is for the red plaid colorway. Both this and the green plaid have a nice preppy look, potentially great for Christmas!

This is a nice and firm comexim, both the cups and the band feel like they will stay put and support you. I really like wearing this bra, particularly before I recently grew and am now quadding in it. I think it gives a nice round and lifted look from all angles, and my back stays looking smooth without lines or bumps. Now that it is a bit small I am getting breast tissue spilling out the side causing more underarm fat look, but previously this wasn't an issue.

I believe this is the plunge, not the half cup.

    • 1

This is a plunge as cupandahalf said and the model is Scottie, not Patricia.

The half cups have only vertical seams (without any horizontal seams) and I never tried any of those, so the ones I gave you were all plunge/deep plunge styles. :-)

Super comfortable bra. The whole thing: the stretch cups are almost silky soft - no rigid or itchy material to be found. The gorgeous lace has a mesh panel behind all the but the very tip tops. There's an additional seam on the side of the cup - which I believe is for side support, making this a four-part cup. (A sling? Not sure on the terminology) The straps are a supportive 1" thick and the 3 hook x 3 row back & band felt tts and comfy. I could have put it on the 2nd or 3rd row, but it was distending the cups, as they ... were clearly too small, but 1st row was fine too. The underwire is relatively soft for me, but not as soft as others, like the @Comexim Tara, which buckled right away. The gore was very narrow and on the low side - 3" I think? Seemed to give my very center full boobs enough room.

me: FOT/ Center full, wide roots (I think), softer tissue & relatively narrow frame.

I didn't expect such comfort to give me such a great shape, but overall it kept me up and rounded. Now, granted, I apparently need to go up at least one cup size, but overall I really liked this style. The pattern is beautiful in person - like someone sketched vines fulls of flowers in a soft bluish-gray pencil. Had some difficulties, but I suspect they're peculiar to my shape, so I'll be posting a fit request to troubleshoot.

Overall, it's a really beautiful and comfortable bra. This is easily the 30th bra I've tried in the last month, and by far the best fit/shape I've found for me, overall. I'll be returning it, but if I can find a better fit with a different size, I'll def be stocking up!

So close to perfect. Band is too big, and with wear straps won't adjust tight enough. Slight gaping on the top of cup that isn't visible when clothed, I fill the cup everywhere else so sizing down wouldn't help- I have very soft tissue/am very FOB. I may also try bending the wires a bit narrower, but then they may feel too long. If straps weren't moved in 2cm would that cause this issue? I can't tell if the alteration was done...

This was purchased from Breakout Bras. On their advice, I sized up in the band for this one because it runs tighter than the Tara, which fits me in 28K. I'm surprised not to see any reviews for this one yet. It's a really nice bra!

Think of this as Tara's sturdier, snugger, plunge cousin. Like the Tara, it's a sheer black longline. Unlike Tara, it's a plunge made with firmer material. I've only tried a few Comexim bras, but I'm pretty sure this is the standard unlined plunge shape. It fits a lot like the Marica padded plunge that I have.

The cups are made of a firm but ... soft-feeling sheer mesh with some lace on the edges. While it looks delicate, it's a sturdy material that gives a good lift. I feel more secure in this bra than Tara and can move around without spilling out. The lace and seams will show through a thin shirt, and it's sheer, but it will work very well with low-cut tops.

I'll note that I don't normally wear wires (give me a Molke most days), but I would say that Comexim's wires are more comfortable than most. They're softer and don't dig in, and they're also low both on the sides and in the center, which I really appreciate as someone petite with close-set breasts. This plunge shape is about as close to perfect as wires are going to get on me.

The longline band does tend to roll up in the front. I still find it more comfortable than a regular band. The wider back feels more supportive, and the front doesn't dig in as much as most wired bra bands do on me. (I think that might be some weird quirk of mine; it's not the wires in the front that irritate me, but the bottom of the band itself. Non-wired bras don't do it. All wired bras do. Why? No idea. Take my band comments with a grain of salt if you don't have my weird problem with them.)

If I liked wires, I might wear this every day. This is my go-to bra for outfits that aren't compatible with my Molkes and for days when my bad shoulder makes getting into a Molke impossible.

** I do not own this bra. I returned it as it did not fit properly.**

TL;DR: Beautiful bra, extremely comfortable to wear (once I put on an extender) and gives an incredible shape, but straps are too wide, cups are too open & center gore too low for me. Cups too tall at the wings for me to fill but otherwise overfilled them. Need at least 1 cup size higher - 2 cups sizes higher in total than my normal 30J. Looked amazing for about 2 minutes after initial swoop & scoop.

BAND is extremely tight. True Size 65, closer to 29/29.5 stretched. Needed to add an ... extender. A first for me with 65/30 backs. Will need to try a 70 band. For comparison, The Comexim Tara - unpadded 3HC longline - 65 band was much stretchier and I could easily wear on the second to last or last (loosest) hook.

WIRES are soft but strong. Very comfortable and did a good job of carrying the weight of my breasts so I could loosen the straps and still be quite lifted. Again, huge contrast to the unpadded 3HC @Comexim Tara where the wires buckled under the weight of my breasts - another first for me.

CUP DEPTH: are soft against the skin and VERY open on top with little projection on the bottom. No kidding with the cakes on a plate. Too open for my somewhat FOT breasts now, most likely because pregnancy and nursing and turning 40 have made my tissue much softer and I now need more containment.

CUP SHAPE: cups gave a beautiful upfront, rounded shape to all of my breast tissue that fit in them. Unfortunately, a LOT did not fit in and I had a lot of spillage at the center.

CUP HEIGHT / CENTER GORE: itself was soft and comfortable and tacked beautifully, perfect for my very close set boobs but far too low for my center fullness. Seriously, the Exxon Valdez has nothing on what my boobs were doing here. If the cup height had been about as tall at the center as it is at the wings this may have worked for me. However, the cups angle somewhat downwards from wing to gore, similar to their plunges but again, vastly more open on top. In addition, I had significant gaping at the tall edge of the cups by the straps, even though I more than filled out the rest of the cups. Typical for me.

STRAPS: Too wide-set for my narrow shoulders. Would have to have them altered for sure. Strap itself was Thick but not sports bra thick, strong and comfortable. Fully adjustable.

WINGS: Very comfortable, felt contained by the narrow wires. Very little tissue or skin sticking out under arm.

FITTING NOTES: Breakout Bras, where I purchased, advises to size up 2 cup sizes from your normal, and I now agree. 30JJ was at least 1 cup size too small for me. I believe I'm pretty shallow-breasted (still working this out) which is why I tried 1 cup size up.

This is not what I consider to be a true half cup. A true HC (for me) has a straight horizontal line from the gore to the wing. These have the correct vertical seams and rounded shape but the cups dip down from the wings to the gore at a bit of an angle.

I last tried bras on properly almost 5 years ago right before I got pregnant with my little girl. At the time this would probably have been my dream bra, but after all the changes to my breast tissue from pregnancy weight gain to nursing to aging this is no longer a viable option.

Going to list this as a Fitting Help request next - hoping with some alterations to make a Comexim work for me, as historically none of the US/UK brands have really worked for me. I have only had success with Half Cups and because I'm a true 30J I've always needed one cup size higher and never yet found it. So I wear bras that are too small. (Except in Curvy Kate, whose bras are far too wide for me and splay my poor girls east/west.) Well, actually, now I just wear sports bras because they keep me contained - not sexy, but more comfortable. The joys of motherhood!

Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database. ☺

Kameleon is a padded bra sized bikini in a plunge style. Its pattern is a multi-colored snake/chameleon look. The padding is thin foam lining, without any additional/removable push up pads.

The band measures 22.75” to a max of 32.75” but I must note that there is only a single metal clasp on the band, making it not adjustable.

Cup depth was 12” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max ... of 13.5” stretched over the knee.

The bottoms in Medium measured 62cm unstretched to 114cm stretched (24.4”-44.85”). Comexim mediums are supposed to be for 93-101cm.

As a side note, when Comexim confirmed my order, they asked if I wanted this one as it was on their site or if I’d like the Samoan style instead. I chose the site style, but wonder if the Samoan wouldn’t have been a better fit or more adjustable. I figured it was worth mentioning for anyone who would be interest in this one, that the Samoan style in the Kameleon print is an option.

    Super dots in 65N

Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database. ☺

Super Dots is normally a padded half cup bra, but Comexim sent it to me in a balcony instead. I did not order it in a balcony, so I don’t know why they changed this. The pattern is tan with black micro dots. The cups are padded with light foam lining, really more for support than added volume.

The band measures 22” to a max stretch of 32.25” and has 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes.

Cup depth is 12”as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 13.5” stretched over the knee.

The material/main pattern for this one is the same as Gaia’s Ida Maxi bra, and is far too stretchy for the liner that is under it, which caused the material to be wrinkled while the liner is not. Very poor quality.

    Vogue Purple 65N

Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database. ☺

Vogue Purple is a beautiful purple stretch lacy long line bra with black foam lined demi/shelf undercups. It has the classic halter tank look from the front though it does have the standard two straps in the back. There are no removable pads in this bra.

The band measures 22.65” to a max of 30” and has 5 hooks and 4 rows of eyes.

Cup depth is 11# as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup ... without any resistance, to a max of 14.5 stretched over the knee. These measurements are for the black part of the cup, not including the purple lace part which is super stretchy. The cup height for the black part is 6.25” with the purple being at 10” at the center of the cup. The center gore wires overlap beautifully.

The wing is 5.75” to the black strap band, and 9” to the bottom of the lace.

As for fit, the straps were set perfectly. The black part of the cups ended 1” below my nips, but there was no quad boob or odd look due to the curve of the cup. My nips were covered by the purple lace so I’m not completely sure if the cups were supposed to be a shelf type or if they were technically too small for my breasts, but it’s what I classified as fitting at the time since it looked great on and under clothing.

The purple lace was super stretchy but not supportive. The lace ended on the top of the shoulders with bows which felt/looked a bit odd. Due to the lack of support of the lace on the cups (and the short/demi style black undercups) I wouldn’t suggest running in this one!

    Chevron in 65N

Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database, but since I did measure it, I decided to add it anyway. ☺

Chevron is a padded plunge bra, in a zig zag multi colored pattern on the lower half of the cups and black on the top. The padding is the standard light foam lining.

The band measures 22.5” to a max stretch of 32”. It has 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes.

The cup depth was 11.5” measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure inside the cup without any resistance, and a max of 14” stretched over the knee.

Bratabase was uncertain about accepting this bra size, but I got it through Breakout Bras and it was labeled as a UK 30JJ. This is one of the styles that is noted to run about a cup size smaller than other Comexim styles, which is why I ordered a size up and I believe this was a good choice - or, as it didn't fit - the closest choice available? I had some quadding towards the center in this size and extra space at the outside top of the cup, I think this was a result of the cups being too tall and straps too wide ... for my shape (more on that below)This bra was really lovely in person. It wasn't a good fit for me as is, but after reading a terrifically informative blog entry by Erica from A Sophisticated Pair regarding Comexim and Anna Pardal alterations (http://sophisticatedpair.com/blog/a-guide-to-comexim-and-anna-pardal-alterations/) Based on that information and the way this bra fit, I believe this bra could fit in this size if I reordered with moved in straps and cup height lowered. I think those two changes would resolve the extra space at the top outsides of the cup, the cutting into my armpit and the too-wide straps. Has anyone tried these alterations in a Comexim Half Cup style? I'd love to be linked to a review of how that worked out! I wonder if I'd want to request any other alterations looking for a fitting half cup style Comexim… I loved the more rounded "pushed back" (?) shape the half cup style gives compared to the shape I get with the Ingrid Plunge. I don't have the vocabulary to describe the differences, but the half cup shape felt less extreme and more "normal" to me, though I can't even say why since I've been wearing sports bras exclusively for years!

I'm returning this one since the cutting in under the arm and very wide strap issues are a deal breaker - they make it too uncomfortable to wear. Plus the extra space in the cup creates some instability where my breasts threaten to fall out of the cup on top when I bend forward, and then I get quadding towards the center… I wonder if I'd actually require a raised gore as well? Or even a 65O with the same alterations so the center fullness of my breasts would be contained? The quad boob toward the center isn't a great look and definitely would show under clothes so I'd have to do a lot of adjusting if I kept the bra as it is now, and I don't have enough experience to know how alterations would alter the fit.

Honestly this color scheme wasn't the most practical for my wardrobe or skin tone even though it looked lovely on. I would definitely try the half cup style again with alterations, but I'd try a different color model. I really loved this bra when I tried it on (before I noticed the fit issues) and I'm hopeful that I can find polish half cups that fit, I just need to figure out what combination of size and alterations is most likely to work before I put in an order! Especially because looking at the wire marks from trying on the bra I'm realizing the left cup (larger side) was a tad small - the wire marks are on breast tissue on the side that you can see in a picture, but also underneath. Both breasts had wire marks from the gore. I'm wondering if the deep V shape of this bra is the real problem for me... and if a more straight across bra with vertical seams would be a better fit... Hmm.

In conclusion: It came close to fitting, but not close enough to keep, but I'm hopeful that with alterations I could make the style work

    • chirality now I can get a better view it does look as though you have short roots, but I should let you know that Comexim HC cannot be reduced in the cup. The straps can be moved and that will help with the armpit issue, maybe the empty strap. If you needed more space in the armpit area, you can also have the wings reduced. With these alterations I would go up a cup to reduce center quadding because moving in the straps make the cups a bit smaller.

    • chirality but this could just be a shape mismatch and half cups could not be your thing, if this is a 2part HC with one seam vs a 3part HC with 2 seams can also be an issue. Don't worry too much there are plenty of bras I can't wear because the shape is not compatible with my bust.

    • Thanks! That's super helpful!

I was able to wear this bra for a total maximum of about three weeks before I grew out of it, but while I did have it, it was honestly my favorite bra. The color is so soft and gentle on my skin tone and I absolutely love it. It's a soft overlay of pink mesh on a blue bra.

The quality of the bra is really amazing, though the back only has two rows, which is quite odd as it's not common in bras of this size, and so it causes some problems with false backfat and the like.

The straps are too thin as I find that they often are, but really, other than those two facts, this bra is of amazing quality and is a shocking beautiful and well structured bra otherwise. Gives just the right shape.
