  1. Maddie Moulded Balconnet T-shirt Bra (7091)

The Maddie in "animal print" is a molded T-shirt-bra in a halfcup/balconnette style.
It has shallow cups and medium to wide wires, and fits well on wide root shallow boobs.
It is often said that the cups run small. I don't fully agree - they run shallow. If you are not shallow you might want to go up a cup size.
In the correct size, this bra gave good uplift, a round shape, and it goes well under tight clothing and tank tops.

    Pros:
    - super comfy!
    - thin straps
    - smooth look under clothing

    Cons:
    - The band is on the stretchier side on the "animal print" colorway, so if you are between band sizes, or have issues with bands riding up, better get the smaller one.

I had some sizing issues with this bra. Probably it was a classical beginner's mistake when I thought 30D fit me, which was actually too wide in the band and too small in the cups. 28E was much better.

    turquoise/pink animal print colorway

Oh Cleo, where have you been all my life?? The fit, the shape, the lift... I think I am in love!
This bra literally has everything I've been looking for: Great fit, cute and fun style, no padding. For some reason, since I've finished nursing 2 babies, I seem to be sensitive to heavy padded bras. I used to wear that type of bra just about every day, and now I keep them for special outfits and occasions only.
I found myself pretty much resigned to wearing bras that fit nicely but didn't necessarily flatter or feel good. That is, until I found the Cleo brand. ... My last few tries have been hits: The Cleo Jude (5846) , the Cleo Maddie Moulded T-shirt Bra (7091) , the Cleo Lucy (5851) , and now the Cleo Meg Balconnet (6751) .
This bra has firm mesh cups that provide decent support and amazing lift. I am a small-ish size and it is very unusual indeed to find a nonpadded bra that doesn't make my assets look nonexistent. I am thrilled with this bra and glad I ordered when I did. I also am awaiting the Cleo Olivia (6651) which is basically the same bra in a different print --- and I think I may have bought the last one on the planet in my size!
One thing this bra has that the Lucy doesn't have is a full band. I don't have any extra natural padding around my ribcage, so the full band does make a difference in comfort. I have noticed the same difference between my Maddie (full band) and my Jude (partial band).
Another comparison with the Lucy: This bra (Meg) is ever-so-slightly fuller at the top of the cups. It's barely noticeable, but it is there. For me it doesn't affect the lift or support or show up under clothing, so I'm still happy. All in all, a great bra for me.

Really like the looks of this bra, and it feels pretty comfortable after having been broken in a bit. The fit is right on and I love the shape it creates -- really up and out there, which is a huge plus at my size. The only beef I have is that the cup line (where the hot pink lace is) shows through tops as a slight ridge. Other than that, this bra is great and I have it in regular rotation.

This bra is generally recommended for shallow breasts. It was too small for me on my bigger side (the lace was flat against me), but the gore didn't come up too high. The band was pretty stretchy. I ended up not keeping this bra, and after trying the Juna in a 28E (since I measure in between a 28DD and 28E), I decided that the Juna didn't work for me at all.

Nice round shape. Lace puckers a little bit where the lace and mesh meet, but the edge of the lace lays flat. Not really sure what is causing that. Not to noticeable under a shirt though.

It is a little bit less shallow than the George cut, but that works great for me! The Alexa style is too deep, but this one is just right! I had to remove the band on the cup because it tended to cut in, but now it is getting better and better https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

It seems comfortable and it's so very beautiful IMO https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" />. The band is pretty tight, similar to the George's. I'd say the fit is similar to the George's as well, but I don't get "George wrinkles" in the thinner material at the top of the cups. While this style is more closed at the top than the Marcie, it does not seem to be as closed as the Cleo Meg (I only know Meg from photos others have shown, though). I'd say it's a good bra for people with wide root shallow breasts, but not as good as Marcie.
Unfortunately, just as with the Cleo Maddie, I'm between sizes, so I'll send both bras back https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":-S" />. The top of the 30D cup cuts very slightly into my larger breast, and I can't fill the 30DD cups.

Love this! It fits perfectly. I measure a 30DD and the 30D fits like it was made for me. I have slightly full on bottom breasts and it gives me a nice rounded shape.

The cups don't fit great but not sure if it's a question of just size or style as well. I can really feel the wires on my ribs and the band feels too tight overall even on the loosest hook. This also doesn't feel supportive enough, seems like the straps are holding me up.

  13. Brooke (5141)

See my reviews of the Brooke in 30C and 28D. I really like this bra, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it again https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />. It's a good bra for people with wide root shallow breasts.
I bought this when my other Brookes eventually became too small. As I'm between sizes in the newer unpadded Cleos, it seemed a good idea to order a Brooke in the smaller of my sizes, because its cups run fairly big and open at the top. This has worked fine for me.

This bra looks better in person than it does in stock photos online - the colors are more harmonious and the heart charm looks cute. Unfortunately, the lace trim got kind of sad and wrinkled even as my breast bulged out over top of it. Not a good look!

The band feels firm, it was less stretchy than the other Cleo bra (Lana) I got in the same order. I think it would hold up well over time, and even though I measure as a 28, I'd stick with the 30 in this style, *and* size up in the cup if I were to try again. The material of the cups is somewhat stiff compared to the decorative lace on the top edge, and the boundary between the two seemed to exacerbate the fit issues.

Definitely didn't fit. The only band was stretchy and too big, the cups were definitely small. It seems I'm supposed to be a 30DD but i'm going to exchange this for a 28E. I do really like the shape

I ordered this bra recently as part of my search for comfortable, everyday 30 band bras for my 28" ribcage to wean me off of my too-big Spanx bras. The bra shape is a good fit for my wide, shallow breasts, but to my surprise it seems I need to size up in the cup. My larger breast is actually bulging up and over the top of the underwire in the middle.

The bra is pretty comfortable and looks OK, but I don't know if I like it enough to exchange for a 30DD, which seems like it would be a good fit.

This bra suprised me. Plunge styles are often a fail on me but this is a great fit. It's a *very* comfy bra to wear. In fact I liked it so much I bought a couple of them. I get a bit of quad boob on my bigger side after scooping but if I give the girls a bit of a jiggle everything settles into the cup nicely.

The moulding is a little thicker than I would like but I can live with it. They look smooth under t-shirts and the bra is often advertised as a t-shirt bra, but they all come in bright colour combos ... so will be very visible under light coloured shirts. Ok if you are doing the underwear as outerwear thing I guess!

I'm going to have to revise this review, after several weeks I found that this bra just didn't wear well and some minor issues became a very big problem because of it. The band felt stretchier than normal in this bra and I should have tried the 28 instead. As soon as the bra started to stretch I had massive quadboobs and the center gore was pulling away from my chest. Bringing the bra in to a tighter hook brought the gore back in but there is just no escaping the quadboob problem. My measurements haven't changed so I think the band starting to stretch just highlighted the fact that the fit wasn't quite right to begin with.

I now think a size 28 e or f would probably be closer to the right size for me but I've just decided not to bother as I think in a larger cup I am going to have way too much bra in the underarm area and this is just the wrong style of bra for me. When I compare this to my Panache porcelain which is also a moulded bra I can see that the Jude has a much flatter, shallower cup - which is generally what I need but in this case it seems to be too much of a good thing. The Jude is moulded from a much thicker foam which is also probably contributing to the problem as it seems like there is less room in the bra as a result.

This has a cup made of three pieces, with one horizontal seam and one vertical. The horizontal piece is too small - it squishes my boob into a weird shape. Pity, as the fabric is super, super pretty.

Really comfortable, well-fitting band, and even though the cups are too small, very comfortable to wear. It's unpadded though, so wearing it under tight T-Shirts might look strange.
I have it in Yellow/Blue, really nice colors.
