    28GG

    Fits

    Updated August 14, 2012. Originally Reviewed Jun 26, 2012.

SS12 Bravissimo Exclusive in "Aqua" polka dots. (Bra tag labelled Alexa "Samba Spot" print)

    Ordered 28GG, 28H (http://bra.pe/RlL/), 30G (http://bra.pe/Rdy/) for comparison. Other bras mentioned in this review: Sasha 30GG (http://bra.pe/RSU/), Sasha 28H (http://bra.pe/RlM/).

    Band length: 59.3cm
    Cup width: 14.4cm
    Cup depth: 28.6cm
    Wire length: 29.5cm
    Cup separation: 2.2cm
    Strap width: 1.9cm

    Quality: 5/5
Comfort: 4/5 (a firm material, snug and needs some "breaking-in")
Appearance: 4/5 (has some outer material wrinkling)

Having fallen in love with Sasha and Alexa I knew I had to have Olivia the second I spotted her on Bravissimo. My only question was a matter of "in what size?" ... I knew the current SS12 Alexa ran a bit bigger in the cup than her predecessor AW11's Sasha. When I contacted Bravissimo the response was she fit exactly the same as Alexa. However after trying on the 28GG several times I found the same hesitance I remembered with Sasha last Autumn. It was a dilemma between cup sizes. I finally received a 28H and although the 28GG and 28H both fit I am much more comfortable in the H-cup because I'm more confident I'm safely covered from any potential spillage which may lead to readjusting throughout a day's wear.

I wish I'd originally took Alexa in a 28GG because her band is not as tight but at the time I would never have thought I could be a 28-band so I never considered ordering.

30G fit well while 28GG is much more snug. These fit me exactly the same in the cup the only difference is in the band. 30G also fits nice although I would anticipate it to stretch out like my original 30G Alexa which has pretty quickly and only snaps back from washing (after one or two wears in a row). The 28H is the best for me as it fits just like my original 30GG Sasha and now a 28H as well.

Also, I'd be happy to have a drawer full of non-pink bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

    Measured immediately before wearing.
    Purchased mid-June 2012 from Bravissimo.

I have reason to believe this is actually the Olivia, but it DOES say Alexa on the tag as pointed out by the user who sent me this bra.
It's super cute, I love the polkadots. The band felt tight the first time I wore it, but after wearing it for a while it felt more comfortable. I'm not used to wearing bands that I don't have to wear on the tightest hook and racer back them so they don't ride up a bunch https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
The wires were a good length, they didn't dig in or anything. While I believe the cup fit me, it did wrinkle a bit (I'm going to pretend it was supposed to do that because it actually looks really cute wrinkled >.> Am I nuts?) I think my breasts are too shallow for this bra, and it would be good for someone who's more FoT.
Also, the straps tend to fall down on me, which isn't the hugest issue. I can always make it racerback.

I love the fun pattern for this bra. The mesh-like material is comfortable. I appreciate the fact they extended the pattern material onto the straps, instead of the usual boring straps. The fit is good. I just bought this bra but like everything about it so far. This is also one of the first Panache bras I've bought/tried on where the cups haven't felt too wide. Hurray!

  5. It was difficult filling out the "how it fits"-bit, because, I have slightly assymetrical breasts, nothing you normally notice, and usually I can just tighten one strap a bit more, and there is no problem. But the upper section of this Olivia seemed to be unaffected at however I put the straps - the cups a bit small on my larger breast, and a bit loose on my smaller breast, and even when I had one strap loosened all the way, and the other tightened all the way, it made no difference.
So for the large breast, the fit should have been set at: Can adjust straps loose ... enough, quad-boob effect. And on the smaller: Can adjust straps short enough, slight wrinkling at the top of the cup.
This bra is not perfect for me, but pretty damn close. I don't want my boobs to be wider than my body at all, and this does it slightly, meaning they are less in front: I prefer that they literally go out in a 90degree angle from the center. Also, the band should be wider at the sides, and the wire should go up higher.

Although it is listed as the same cut as Alexa and it is very similar there are slight differences. It has a tiny bit less room at the underwires, enough to feel the difference. Bravissimo says that this bra is the same cut as Zia, I don't think they are but they share some similarities.

The light blue base with large dots is colorful and fun. The bra gives the lovely uplifted and rounded Cleo shape. Detailing is the same material as in Alexa. It measures and feels slightly firmer compared to Alexa. It might be possible that the tighter band is distorting the underwires a little and that is causing bottom of the cup issues. I will have to test this with an extender.

Cute bra, very comfortable and a good snug band- just what I like.

Sadly, I've figured out that I need to go up another cup size so this bra does cause some quadboobing on me. It seems narrower than others I've tried from Cleo (like the Lily), but it still isn't narrow enough for me. It would be a fun everyday option.

This is a gorgeous looking bra, but I can't find a way to set the straps! It looks like the straps are farther apart on this bra, and I have narrow shoulders, so this is not a good mix. It also seems to be too narrow in the cups for my shape. So cute, just silly straps https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
