Marcie was one of my best fitting bras when I was a 28DD/30D size, and I wore it all last summer. It was absolutely perfect for the hot weather! However, since my cup size gain, I decided to size up to the 28E. I had tried 28E once in the past when I was the smaller size since 28DD wasn't available, but it was way too big. Now, it fits me quite well, and even runs snug.

I originally just felt that the 30D Marcie was good, but not great. It just didn't feel all that stable for some reason, even though the band ... didn't seem too big. Since switching down to the 28 band, this problem has been eliminated. The bra feels secure and stays in place. The 3 piece up shape, which is very similar to Curvy Kate Florence and Cleo Lucy/Kali, fits me really well. There's no gapping or bagginess in the upper cup, an area I typically struggle with. I think this is because Marcie's upper cup is cut to be very shallow and is slightly open, so it adjusts to fit, while upper cups that are cut to be more projected and closed off don't work without appropriate upper fullness. I also don't find that the cups cut into my tall roots, which is great. Marcie gives me a lifted, rounded shape that looks great and feels comfortable.

I've found, however, that version of the bras with no printed text on the underwires fit me best. Some of the bras are made in China and some in Thailand, but the older model without printed underwires all fit well. However, there's something weird about the versions that have the print on the underwires, and I am not sure why. I've ended up reordering and swapping out every Marcie to be sure I get the older version.

One problem I tend to get with Marcie is that the underwires tend to behave oddly at the gore without some adjustment. Some of them cross at the gore, and others just poke inward until the bra is properly adjusted. Once it's adjusted, there's no issues with comfort, but it could be why many other people have commented that Marcie's wires are uncomfortable.

This is a 3 piece soft mesh cup, with double-lined bottom cups. The upper cup is fantastic on this bra, since it's embroidered mesh with no additional edge elastic. The natural stretch of the fabric helps it fit a number of different breast shapes without being too closed-off. The cups are embroidered with polka dots and the upper cup is embroidered with butterflies, but the embroidery and seams are not visible under clothing. Straps are nice and wide, and I like the texture, which helps keep the straps in place. The band is firm powermesh with a leotard back. Unlike Lucy, Marcie has a full band, so it feels extra secure on me.

I own this bra in 3 colors in 30D, 1 color in 30DD, 3 colors in 28E, and have also tried the 28F. Currently, 28E fits me best, though the overall bra feels a bit snug now. I tried sizing up to 28F but it was way too deep and tall in the cups. For now, 28E Marcie is still my best-fitting unlined bra. It's a bummer that it's finally been discontinued!

I ended up picking up two more discontinued colors via eBay, and snagged this one. It fits quite well and is consistent with the Black and Nude ... Marcies that fit me. The only thing I don't love about this is the color, as I find army green to be a strange colorway for a bra, and I think the coral accents just look weird. Unfortunately it was the only color left in my size that I didn't already own.

I originally just felt that the 30D Marcie was good, but not great. It just didn't feel all that stable for some reason, even though the band didn't seem too big. Well... I'm not sure how I feel about this bra so far. This is supposed to be the Marcie replacement with improvements. However, when I first put the bra on, I have wrinkling! I'm disappointed because the Marcie fits me well. The quality of this bra is good. I like the change to the straps -- way more comfortable, although still too wide for me. Not sure if I need to go down a size or what.

Managed to find this bra online and finally giving it a shot. Overall, the bra fits to my shape well. I'm still getting used to the look and feel as I usually buy lined bras. The lace does shift from fitting, to slight gaping, to slight digging in depending on my movements/stance. Two of my issues are that the wires dig in on my sternum. I've run into this issue with bras in the past several times. I'm fairly slim and do not have much fat or tissue on my sternum. Also, the straps are a little wide set and do sometimes rub on my arms. That being said, this is fitting better than my last bra.

I am looking for other bras that would fit similarly and open to suggestions from all!

    Didn't fit

At the time I purchased this bra, I measured 28DD and thought that Maddie in 28DD fit well but the cups were a bit shallow, so I tried to size up to 28E to see if I could get some more room in the cups. However, the 28E at the time was much too large on me. Maddie is already a wide style with wide-set straps, and in 28DD I get gapping when I move. The 28E had a bit more depth and cup height, but I couldn't fill out the upper cup and the gapping issue was much worse. This is a very shallow-friendly style and doesn't really suit my average projected shape.

I'd like to get my hands on this size again as I now measure 28E, but I also feel that this kind of open cup with wide set straps is difficult on me as the gapping issue is inevitable due to my narrow frame.

    Fits

Finally, I've found the Lucy that fits! This is one of those styles I've tried in tons of different sizes (28D, 30D, 30DD), but nothing has been quite right. Now that I'm a cup size bigger, I've finally come across the size that fits properly.

Having tried Lucy in the 30 bands, I knew that the 30 was a bit too big for me and would ideally need a 28. Unfortunately since this style is discontinued, I couldn't find a 28DD for the longest time. The 28D cups are far too small for me, even when I was a cup size smaller. The 30D ... cups always felt too small, and the 30DD cups felt much better.

Thus, it's no surprise that this ended up working best for me in 28E! The 28E gives me the snug band fit and larger cups I need, and even on my smaller side, it looks much better than the other sizes did. I always struggled with Marcie and Lucy cups in 30D feeling too small, but in the past I was too small for the 28E as I was between sizes. Now, this size provides adequate coverage as well as wires that are wide enough and sit properly. I've noticed recently that I really need more wire coverage under the arms than I was previously used to in order to keep all the breast tissue contained.

Now that I have a Lucy that fits properly, I think this style is slightly better suited to my shape than Marcie. I think I am pretty evenly distributed so the FoT/FoB cuts don't make much of a difference, but visually I think Lucy's proportions are better suited for me. So happy to finally find the right fit in this style!

    Didn't fit

I loved Kali in 30D but recently found that my cup size is getting a bit larger, so I decided to try this in a 28E. Unfortunately, this isn't quite the right size for me, and my 30D still fits much better.

First, my original Kali in 30D came with a very small band, at 22.4", whereas this one only measured 22.0", so there wasn't a huge difference in the band. The 22.4" was a perfect fit on me, but I found that this band is a touch small. It is tight enough that it causes the underwires to feel uncomfortable and a little painful. ... The band is already a firm one, and I've found with this type of band construction that there's a very fine line between snug and uncomfortably tight. Unfortunately this is the latter.

The cups are also a little odd to me, since they are only slightly wider than the 30D (+0.2"), but they are a lot deeper (+0.6"). The cups are also taller (+0.4"). The cups mostly felt ok, but I had some trouble filling out the increased depth and height at the top of the cup. Because of these proportions, it wasn't really suited for wide and short-rooted, FOB shapes like mine, whereas the 30D was a great shape match for me.

Aesthetically, this bra is super cute. I was drawn to the heart embroidery right away, and knew that I wanted to hunt this one down. I am pleased that the heart embroidery is as cute in person as it appeared online, and the small embroidered flowers on the lower cup in Lucy have been replaced with more hearts on Kali. There's also a cute little bow at the center gore and tonal picot edged elastic on the straps and lower band to up the frill factor, but these details are subtle and tasteful. However, I didn't love the neon pink color as it seemed a bit garish, which is a bummer since this was originally the color I was drawn to when I first discovered the style. My original Cerise is much prettier, IMO.

Sadly, I didn't end up adding a second Kali to my collection due to the fit in this size not being quite right.

    Didn't fit

I purchased the Koko Muse in a 30D, but was disappointed that the band ran a little large. Recently I've been overflowing in many 30D bras and thought I should try a band size down but a cup size up from my sister size to see if this would give me a little more room. This is how I got to the 28E (plus the fact that this style doesn't come in a 28DD). However, this size did not work out for me at all, and I'm totally baffled as to why.

The band is really tight, which is extremely odd to me as the band ... measurement is only 2 cm different between the 30D Koko Muse and the 28E Koko. Both bands are pretty firm, but I guess the Koko has slightly less give than Koko Muse. The main reason I tried a different size in the Koko Muse was because of the band, so I am bummed that there's such a big difference in the fit between the two band sizes.

Also, when comparing the measurements on my two bras, the cups of the 28E are marginally larger than the 30D. I'm talking 1 cm difference in the wire length, cup width, and cup depth. However, the cup height is 1.5 cm taller in the 28E. Just this marginal difference makes the cups feel a lot bigger to me, although it generally fits ok. The reason I marked the cups as a problem is that they feel too large, and I get some gapping when moving in the 28E whereas I don't have this problem in the 30D.

Other than that, I really like the rounded shape the Koko cut gives me. Despite not being a full band style, this feels a bit more secure than others, thanks to the wide bottom elastic on the band. The rest of the fit is pretty good on me, so I really wish this had worked out.

For reference, my boobs are shallow, close set, even-FOT, center full, with tall and average width roots. I also have a rather prominent rib cage, broad shoulders, and a long torso for my height (5'2"). This is my fourth Cleo Koko bra! I switched over to these bras after the Cleo Neve was discontinued and Ebay yielded no more results in my size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />. The band on the black colorway of the Koko is tighter than the nude version, and measures over half an inch shorter. The wires also seem taller than the other colorways I've purchased. The fabric is also a ... bit stiffer in this version of the Koko than the Koko Muse (9166), and the straps are not as stretchy, which I find preferable as the straps on my Koko Muse have distorted easily from gentle handwashing. The only fit issues I have are very slight quadboobing after scooping and swooping, and a wire width that is roughly .3 inches too wide. The quadboobing disappears after my breasts settle into the cup. The J-hook is adjustable, and comfortable to use. I don't get noticeable cleavage in the bra. Overall, the bra looks nice under clothes (both tight and flowy tops), and is comfortable to wear. The minor fit issues don't detract from the look or comfort of the bra.

I have wide/tall roots with a shallow shape. This is my FAVORITE bra in terms of fit.

Pros: good support; open on top to allow a more rounded shape; the wires are decently comfortable; the band doesn't stretch out with wear; and the bra is pretty smooth under most tops, including tshirts. Comfortable enough to wear through a work day.

Cons: the straps sit on the outer edges of the cup, so they tend to dig into my armpits when my arms are forward; the cup runs small, I'd suggest ordering one size up.

Nice bra for wide and tall roots with shallow projection.

Pros: holds shape very well, gives a flattering rounded shape under clothing, strong support

Cons: straps sit far out on the cups and can dig into armpits, wires are very stiff until the bra is well-worn, the lace border shows up under thinner fabrics

This bra fits really well on the tightest hook. It's got a decent amount of projection, especially at the center, which is great for me. Unfortunantly, the seams are visible under shirts, and I'd have to alter the band, which means I'll probably return it.

This is my first cut-and-sew bra, and I'm glad that I tried it! My molded cup bras tend to keep my breasts firmly in place, so the sense of greater movement in the cut-and-sew took a little getting used to, but was ultimately very comfortable. In the summer, I think it'll be cooler than my usual molded cup bras. Plus, the polka dots and the lace are adorable. You can definitely see the pattern and the seams through thin tops, but not through thicker shirts.

My only issue with fit is that the lace at the top of the cup wrinkles on my smaller side. Other than that, the band seemed true to size, the gore tacks, and the underwires/cups are a good fit for my relatively wide, shallow shape.

Narrow cup with a lot of projection and very open on top, which is perfect for tall roots and people with more tissue above the nipple. The band is pretty stretchy in the blue polka-dot colorway so definitely size down in the band! I'm usually a 30DD/E and the 28E still feels like the elastic could stretch out sooner than some of my other bras.

This bra was my first attempt at sizing myself. I only chose an E cup because I mistakenly thought my cups couldn’t possibly be as big as I measured, but they were. This bra has always been laughably too small for me, but I tried to force it to work briefly before I realized it was never going to be comfortable for me. At this point in time, I can only get about a third of my boob into each cup. The bra itself though is soft, durable, and cute looking, though a pretty shallow cut.

I've gained weight since I bought this, so I need to loosen the straps more than I'd like in order to avoid quad boobs. Hence, the solid band is especially appreciated. This is very cute yet sexy bra. I love the wide-set straps. Even though this a molded bra, which I usually loathe, it fits well. There is no gapping even when I hunch over. I am very, very happy with this bra.

Oddly on Panache website this model is supposed to start from the 28F and not the 28E. Yet I found it in 28E on Bravissimo's website.
I have the Cleo Breeze Longline Padded Balconnet (9025) in 28E and was excited to buy an other longline from Cleo. The cups are similar with the same construction in three sections and it fits almost the same. The main difference is in the band. Spencer's band is strechier than Breeze's because of the fabric. Spencer has only three hooks and I personnaly prefer the five hooks on my Breeze longline but it is only my opinion.
I love the blue of this bra: it is very bright and lovely.

When I first saw this bra on Bravissimo's website I knew I had to order it. It is so pretty! I love the roses on the cups. The band is snug and doesn't ride up. I don't have any bulge. There are many hooks but I don't find it difficult to close it. The wires follow my breasts prefectly. The cups gap a little but it doesn't bother me and it doesn't show through shirts. In conclusion it is not a perfect fit but it's okay for me.
