The box is asking what bras I was wearing before I found the right size, and it's an interesting coincidence that it should ask that today, because just this morning I dug out one of my old sports bras - a Marks and Spencers maximum-impact zip-up-at-the-front thing in 36C. I think it's supposed to be a compression sports bra rather ... than an encapsulation one, but it's quite hard to tell!
The band is quite large, but not a true 36 as it only stretches to 34" - but then M&S bands can run tight sometimes. As for the cups, well, I'd have to say they're on the large side. They extend a good 1.5" past the edge of my boobs on the side, and there isn't the slightest hint of quad-boob.
Naturally it is totally lacking in support for me. The bounce would probably be enough to be seriously painful if I actually did any exercise in it. I dare say it would work very nicely for someone who's about a 34DD or 34E, but I actually get less bounce from a Freya half-cup! I can't believe I ever thought this bra was fit to go running in, let alone that I hoped it still might be!

I hate it when emergencies come up and foil bra plans..or dress plans,or shoe plans.
Or new phone plans, or potentially wipe out my new computer savings...
I was just off work yesterday because of home repairs, and now my car is broken. My bathroom is being gutted next week (before the shower falls through the floor...) I think I'm going to have to find stuff to sell and get over my fear of selling on eBay if I ever want to buy a bra again. :(
